i think the funniest possible plot arc for alecto would be ianthe trying to arrange a threesome between herself and her two closest friends (harrow and kiriona), but she just ends up wingmanning them both really hard by accident (since nothing ever goes truly right for ianthe) and that's how griddlehark ends up happening

new cytherea theory, but on page 371 of gtn, gideon notes her eyes as "limpid, moonless purple" rather than electric blue (which we know is loveday's eye color). that plus the fact that cytherea was so insistent on being called "cytherea loveday" really makes me wonder if g1deon/pyrrha weren't the only og lyctor/cav pair to compartmentalize their lyctorization

one fanfic i really want to read but do not have the fortitude or skill to write is a canaan house au where pal and cam sus cytherea out in the first week & nonviolently confront her about it & cytherea ends up going on her evil villain monologue about the lyctorization process, but when cam and pal react with revulsion she goes "oh i could maybe radicalize the house heirs instead of killing them actually" and then the three of them form an alliance through gritted teeth (cam and pal are still a lil mad about the whole dulcinea murder situation) where they have to quietly figure out which of the other heirs are down for a little light god murder and treason
