It is believed that this name originates from the fact that it was a signal for hunters to prepare for the upcoming cold winter by going hunting. This is because animals were beginning to fatten up in preparation for the winter season. Moreover, since fields had recently been cleared out under the Harvest Moon, hunters could easily spot deer and other animals that had come out to search for remaining scraps. Additionally, foxes and wolves would also come out to prey on these animals.
The earliest use of the term “Hunter’s Moon,” cited in the Oxford English Dictionary, is from 1710. Some sources suggest that other names for the Hunter’s Moon are the Sanguine or Blood Moon, either associated with the blood from hunting or the color of the changing autumn leaves.

• Day of the Dead- (Spanish: Día de Muertos or Día de los Muertos) is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, though other days, such as October 31 or November 6, may be included depending on the locality. It is widely observed in Mexico, where it largely developed & is also observed in other places, especially by people of Mexican heritage. Although related to the simultaneous Christian remembrances for Hallowtide, it has a much less solemn tone and is portrayed as a holiday of joyful celebration rather than mourning. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects and to remember friends and family members who have died. These celebrations can take a humorous tone, as celebrants remember funny events and anecdotes about the departed.
• All Saints Day- is a Christian solemnity celebrated in honor of all the saints & martyrs of the Church, whether they are known or unknown
Activities:
• Dedicate an altar to loved ones who have passed
• Boil a simmer pot to cleanse your space
• Have a silent dinner
• Light a candle for your loved ones & yourself
• Decorate your house and/or altar

• Pull tarot cards to see what may be in store for you ahead
• Cleanse, clean & de-clutter your space

•Go on a nature walk
• Learn a new form of divination
• Have a bonfire with your friends and/or family
• Carve pumpkins
• Express yourself creatively through art, music, ect
• Visit a cemetery & help clean off areas that need it or to visit a family member/ ancestor & leave an offering
• Hold a seance
• Bake spooky treats & bread as offerings
• Refresh your protection magicks, sigils & rituals
Samhain is a Gaelic festival on 1 November marking the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or "darker half" of the year. Celebrations begin on the evening of 31 October, since the Celtic day began and ended at sunset.
This fire festival is celebrated on October 31st & is considered the Pagan New Year. It is the first Sabbat on the Wheel of the Year, a cross-quarter festival & the third (final) harvest festival of the mundane year. This is the time when the veil between the worlds of the living & those who have passed is the thinnest, which allows greater communication between the two
Some believe this is the time of the Goddess's mourning of the death of the God until his rebirth at Yule. The Goddess's sadness can be seen in the shortening, darkening days & the arrival of cold weather

Everything You Need to Know About Crystals: Tiger's Eye
Tiger's Eye (The Stone of the Sun)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Color: Golden Yellow with Brown
Hardiness: 7
Rarity: Easy to Obtain
Type: Metamorphic
Chakra Association: Sacral, Solar-Plexus, Third Eye
Deities: Ra, Sekhmet, Durga
Astrological Signs: Capricorn, Leo
Element: Earth, Fire
Planet: Sun
Origin: India, Myanmar, South Africa, USA, Mexico
Powers: The Sun, Protection, Abundance, Luck, Pride, and Justice
Crystals It Works Well With: Cat’s Eye, Chalcedony, Topaz
How It is Created: Tiger’s Eye is basically a quartz but they formed in such an unusual way that the fibers of the mineral called crocidolite are laid down in parallel bands within the structure. This creates its silk like appearance and its “cat’s eye”.
History: Tombs in the ancient city of Ur in Mesopotamia (now Iraq) dating back to 2500 BCE have yielded gold sets with agates, like tiger’s eye and carnelian. The tiger’s eye was very popular due to the belief that it harnessed the power of the earth and the sun. This is why it is associated with the god of the sun, Ra and why Egyptians considered it a very valuable gem. Roman soldiers believed that the tiger’s eye was a symbol of bravery and would ride with pieces of tiger’s eye on them in order to encourage bravery during battles.
What It Can Do:
Shields the energy field or aura from negativity
Clears tension and mental blocks from the solar plexus
Can soothe, calm, and restore one’s body and mind
Banish the evil eye and curses
Attracts money while curbing impulsive spending
Used to detect liars and deceptions
Can increase confidence and pride
Placing it on your third eye can help enhance psychic abilities and balance your lower chakras
Helps unlock and unleash your true desires
Alleviates depression and lifts moods
Reduces crabbing and addictive behavior
How To Get the Best Out of Tiger’s Eye: Wear it in bracelet or amulet form.
How to Cleanse and Charge:
To cleanse: Lay it on a windowsill where the sun shines the most or bury it in your garden where the sun shines the most
To charge: You can also charge it on the windowsill with the sun. The sun really gives it a great charge, especially if one of the deities you work with is a sun god.
Crystal Grid:
Abundance (Spiral)
Base for the grid, such as wood, slate, fossilized wood, or golden card or cloth
Citrine
Goldstone
Green Aventurine
Herkimer Diamond
Jade
Moss Agate
Ruby
Tiger’s Eye
Topaz
If you’re laying a preparatory “cleansing” spiral, start at the topmost point and lay crystals alternately, with the points pointing out from the center.
Place the Goldstone in the center as the keystone.
If laying an abundance grid, begin by placing the Goldstone in the center, stating that your intention is for it to bring abundance into your life.
Lay a spiral of alternated crystals, pointing down and inward, until you reach the Goldstone.
Add a grounding stone if appropriate.
When the grid is no longer required, dismantle it.

manifesting with astrology
Tumblr media
looking at your natal chart can provide insight to the best way for you to manifest your desires and dreams into your reality. manifesting is a strong tool lots of people use even subconsciously and it can make serious changes to your life <3 here are some things to look for in your natal chart to help you determine the best way for you to manifest: (these are all my personal interpretations and might not resonate with everyone!)
Jupiter:
this planet controls themes of luck, abundance, optimism, expansion, growth, all which play a part in manifestation.
i like to look at this placement specifically for how you should manifest.
the Jupiter placement in general can tell you how you will experience the most luck in life. so even if you're not manifesting something specific, God and the universe will grant you good karma overall.
if you have Jupiter in Cancer, you will experience the most good karma when you are nurturing and caring for others. if you have Jupiter in Capricorn, you will experience the most good karma when you are working hard toward your goals.
Part of Fortune:
the word Fortune in the name not only means material wealth, but spiritual wealth as well.
this placement shows where you are naturally at your happiest, which according to the law of attraction, will therefore attract good things for you.
if you have Part of Fortune in the 5H, then you will feel most at peace while creating or experiencing art like painting, writing, music, going to museums, watching movies/tv shows, reading, etc. so doing that kind of stuff will naturally elevate your mood which in turn will bring in good things in your life.
Neptune:
although there is science to back it up, manifestation definitely has a base in mysticism, which Neptune controls along with imagination, dreams, intuition.
because Neptune has domain over all of these subconscious entities, this placement can show us how to bring our manifestations out of the dream world into reality.
Neptune stays in a sign for about ten to twelve years, so it wouldn't be weird to find you and yours peers face the same struggles when it comes to reaching your goals. this is why i actually would look at what is opposing or squaring Neptune. what is keeping you or standing in the way of your desires manifesting?
a generation of people with Neptune in Aquarius are all going to struggle with getting their extreme ideas and innovations out into the world, but for different reasons. someone with Neptune in Aquarius opposite or square their Moon is going to be too emotionally insecure to get their ideas out, while someone with Neptune in Aquarius opposite or square their Mars will be too harsh or overwhelming to others.
North Node:
your North Node is the themes of this lifetime you need to learn, while the South Node is themes we've learned before in previous times. thus, the North Node is where you're destined to go and where we look to help us fulfill our life's true purpose.
using the themes of this placement that you are naturally destined for will help the manifestation process tremendously because it is something you are naturally gravitated to anyways
if your North Node is in Aries, one of the themes in this life you need to learn is selfishness. learning to say no, to put yourself first when you need to, and learning to be there for yourself. if you manifest stronger confrontational skills, or manifest stronger discipline for yourself, they will come easily because they are naturally aligned with what you are heading toward.
Venus:
manifestation is based on the law of attraction, and Venus literally controls attraction.
she's also important because most people are trying to attract Venus themes into their lives like harmony, beauty, wealth.
looking at this placement will show us what we naturally attract and what we are attracted to.
if you have Venus in Taurus, you naturally attract abundance and prosperity in the material world. you are going to naturally gravitate toward these things as well. so, these things are going to be extremely easy for you to manifest into your life like a raise at work, passive income, beautiful items, etc.
11H:
this house holds domain over our dreams and wishes, especially for the future, so looking to this placement will help you manifest things that really align with you.
if you Libra on your 11H, you might naturally dream for or want pleasant relationships in your life. an amazing friend group, a wonderful partner, great bonds with colleagues, etc. manifesting these relationships will come easier to you than others with, say, Aries on the 11H.
again, these are all my personal interpretations for manifesting with our natal chart. i look at these placements and utilize them in my manifesting personally and am more pleased with the results than when i used to just do whatever was trending on twitter.
please feel free to ask about your specific placements by replying or messaging me! it helps you and helps me as a practicing astrologer. also just a reminder that i offer readings which you can find info for on my pinned post :) happy tuesday!

Baneful Magic & Methods🌙
Tumblr media
🖤Disclaimer: I do not believe in the 3-fold law or the Wiccan rede. These methods are things I use in my own practice and am choosing to share. Please do your own research!
What is Baneful Magic?
Many people confuse the term "black magic" with baneful magic. The term "black magic" is actually a racist term and should not be used to describe baneful workings. This is also the same for the term "white magic" being used to describe healing magic.
Baneful magic is magic cast against someone or something with menacing or harmful intent. Baneful magic can be used to speed up the consequences of someone actions towards you or they can be used to block people from benefiting from their work. In my practice, I believe that if baneful work is not warranted (i.e there is no real reason for it to be done), it will not work. This means that I never cast a baneful spell unless I believe it to be truly worth the time and effort.
Baneful rituals can be very simple and low energy or they can be very intense and complex. This honestly depends on what kind of spell work you are doing and what you are doing it for. For example, a baneful ward is something that I would consider to be low energy because you set it up once and as long as it remains intact, it continues to work. However for me, a higher energy baneful spell would be a "stop gossiping" spell because the ingredients I would use are harder to find. Baneful works also depend on the amount of correlations you want to include. For example, do you want the spell to coincide with a specific day of the week, moon phase or month. Maybe you want to perform it during a specific season or ask for help from a specific entity, all these factors should be taken into account when performing these workings.
Some of my Favourite Methods:
Hex water- Adding names to hex water can be a really low energy way of ensuring that someone must deal with the consequences of their actions (I use this as more of a "karma" insurance but it can be used as a full on hex).
Freezer spells- some people may argue that this isn’t very baneful but it's one of my favourite and most used methods. Freezer spells can be used to essentially "freeze" people’s influence over you or block them from being able to reach you. You can do this with items as well (when I was quitting smoking, this is how I did it). You can freeze names with regular water or you can bind them first and freeze them in hex water.
Return-to-senders- another one of my favourite spells, this spells is used to return unwanted or harmful energy back to the source that cast it (which is why people always say to tether your hexes to something other than yourself). You can also add a bit of a kickback to these spells or return them with 3 times the energy if you are feeling a little vengeful.
Mirror spells- again one that might not be considered baneful but can be adjusted. The way I use these spells is to make the recipient "look in the mirror" and take an objective look at their actions. This often involves ensuring that they can't run from their problems and must deal with the consequences of their actions. Other variations of this exist as well, you are only limited by your imagination with this one.
Sending a spirit- depending on your relationship with specific spirits, you can petition them to do the work for you. This usually works best if you already have a close working relationship with the spirit you are petitioning but you can also contact spirits you don't normally work with as well. I have seen this work using house spirits, familiars, the dead, deities and many more. It's important for me to stress that how you go about this and the results achieved will depend on the spirit you ask and your relationship with that spirit.
Baneful Work & Ethics:
Witchcraft in general does not have a standard or set guidelines for what is ethical and what is not. Many witches may come to a consensus on what they believe to be ethical based on shared morals or opinions but in reality, it's all fair game. Just because I believe or follow one thing, doesn't mean you have to or will.
It is important for you to determine your own ethical guidelines before practicing baneful magic. I say this because it is very easy, when things go wrong or you are feeling hurt, to just cast magic against whatever or whoever you want but it is not always helpful or necessary. Having guidelines and sticking to them is an important part of baneful practices (they can always change and evolve but the most important thing is that you don't compromise on them when you are emotional). Here are a few guidelines I stick to, feel free to use them if they resonate with you.
Never cast without reason- I will only spend my time and energy on things that are really important to me. If the person I am casting against is already a waste of space in my life, they will also probably be a waste of time.
Never cast emotionally- I will wait several weeks before I decide to cast against someone. If what they did is really bad enough to warrant my energy and time then it's probably something I'll still be upset about weeks or months later.
Never cast against someone you live with or cannot cut out of your life- this one is kind of self explanatory but casting against someone you live with is bad news. You will be affected by your own working and will end up having to reverse it.
Know how to reverse your workings- things can always go wrong so make sure you have a back up plan and a really good uncrossing spell on hand.
Know yourself- it's important to do some reflecting before you hex. Ask yourself how you may have contributed to the situation. Are upset or are you projecting past traumas onto someone? What would you have done if the roles were reversed? Questions like these are tough to answer but help determine if a hex is really warranted or not.
Protect then hex- if you are casting against someone who lives with children or pets, you may choose to do a protection working on them before performing your hex. The energy a hex has often affects other people around the recipient and children/animals do not deserve to be negatively affected by the actions of someone else.

Topic: What to put your spells in?
A while ago I saw this meme on Pinterest:
Tumblr media
It reminded me of showing my ex-friend two of my spell jars, and explaining my frustration in the fact that one of them worked and one of them didn't. She was barely paying attention and blurted "Well no wonder they didn't work, they're in Gatorade bottles." It's really funny actually, because, yes, they were both in Gatorade bottles. Both of them were attraction-type spells and the bottles used to hold red Gatorade. So, thinking about the color magic, I used them for the spells.
I was confused and asked her to explain, she told me that in order for the spells to work they had to be held in nicer, glass jars. I argued that it was intention that mattered not what it was held in, then asked her where she got her information. She told me her aunt had told her that. (It's not a great source, and I'm pretty sure she was lying; she was a very petty person). Yet, that brings us to today's topic:
What can we hold our spells in?
As always, do your research and don't blatantly trust a random person on the internet. But in my experience, it doesn't matter what you put your spells in. In fact, one of my favorite green witch tips that I have come across is using toilet paper and paper towel rolls and folding them into spell jars. It reduces waste, and if you aren't using salt (Because salt can harm plants and soil) you can bury it. It is biodegradable and decomposes in 2 months. (Much better than plastic and glass which takes about 5,000 years)
If you set your intentions, it only depends on what you prefer. Here are some good options based off things I have used!
Remember that you can reuse any of these items for different spells after the original has served its purpose!
folded paper towel and toilet paper rolls
Glass jars
bowls
Gatorade bottles (lol)
plastic bags
cloth reusable bags
wooden/cardboard/any Boxes
cups or Tupperware
You make your own rules to your practice, there is usually no right and wrong, use whatever your heart desires!!

Question for people who worship deities in the hellenic pantheon: despite the religious trauma that I've dealt with because of my family members, I've become interested in worshipping a few deities. The thing is, I have no clue how to go about it. Is it as simple as "I've become very interested in this god/goddess and I want to worship them", or do I need a greater reason for it? Also what do I need to do to start worshipping?

February’s full Moon is a “Micromoon” this year. Think of this term as the opposite of a “Supermoon.” It simply means that the full Moon is at its farthest point from Earth (not the nearest point).
The explanation behind February’s full Moon name is a fairly straightforward one: it’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February. On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service. In the 1760s, Captain Jonathan Carver, who had visited with the Naudowessie(Dakota), wrote that the name used for this period was the Snow Moon, “because more snow commonly falls during this month than any other in the winter.”

Imbolc is a Gaelic festival marking the beginning of spring. Most commonly it is held on January 31 – February 1, or halfway between the winter solstice & the spring equinox. The holiday is a festival of the hearth, home, a celebration of the lengthening days & the early signs of spring.
The word "imbolc" means "in the belly" and refers to the pregnancy of ewes at this time of year. The term "oimelc" means ewe's milk. Around this time of year, many herd animals give birth to their first offspring of the year or are heavily pregnant & as a result, they are producing milk. This creation of life’s milk is a part of the symbolic hope for spring.
Imbolc is mentioned in some of the earliest Irish literature and it is associated with important events in Irish mythology. It has been suggested that it was originally a pagan festival associated with the goddess Brigid and that it was Christianized as a festival of Saint Brigid, who herself is thought to be a Christianization of the goddess.
Some use Imbolc to celebrate the longer days which herald the return of Spring & The Goddess's recovery from giving birth to The Sun (The God) at Yule. The God & The Goddess are children symbolizing new life, new beginnings & new resurrections.
Related festivals:
• Groundhog Day-  Is a tradition observed in the United States & Canada on February 2 of every year. It derives from the Pennsylvania Dutch superstition that if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day & sees its shadow, it will retreat to its den & winter will go on for six more weeks; if it does not see its shadow, spring will arrive early.
While the tradition remains popular in the 21st century, studies have found no consistent association between a groundhog seeing its shadow & the subsequent arrival time of spring-like weather.
•St. Brigid's Day- 1 February. It was originally Imbolc, the first day of spring in Irish tradition. Because Saint Brigid has been theorised as linked to the goddess Brigid, some associate the festival of Imbolc with the goddess. St. Brigid is the patroness saint (or 'mother saint') of Ireland. She is patroness of many things, including poetry, learning, healing, protection, blacksmithing, livestock & dairy production. In her honour, a perpetual fire was kept burning at Kildare for centuries.
A recent campaign successfully established her feast day as a national holiday in 2023.
• Chinese New Year- (February 10th) the festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. In Chinese, the festival is commonly referred to as the Spring Festival,- marking the end of winter and the beginning of the spring season. Observances traditionally take place from Chinese New Year's Eve, the evening preceding the first day of the year, to the Lantern Festival, held on the 15th day of the year. The first day of Chinese New Year begins on the new moon that appears between January 21st & February 20th.
The Chinese New Year is associated with several myths and customs. The festival was traditionally a time to honour deities as well as ancestors. Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the New Year vary widely & the evening preceding the New Year's Day is frequently regarded as an occasion for Chinese families to gather for the annual reunion dinner.
It is also a tradition for every family to thoroughly clean their house, in order to sweep away any ill fortune & to make way for incoming good luck. Another custom is the decoration of windows & doors with red paper-cuts and couplets. Popular themes among these paper-cuts and couplets include good fortune or happiness, wealth & longevity. Other activities include lighting firecrackers  & giving money in red envelopes.
•  Candlemas- is a Christian feast day on February 2nd commemorating the presentation of Jesus at the Temple. It is based upon the account of the presentation of Jesus in Luke 2:22-40.
While it is customary for Christians in some countries to remove their Christmas decorations on Twelfth Night, those in other Christian countries historically remove them after Candlemas. On Candlemas, many Christians also take their candles to their local church, where they are blessed and then used for the rest of the year.
•Setsubun- (February 3rd) Is the day before the beginning of spring in the old calendar in Japan. The name literally means 'seasonal division', referring to the day just before the first day of spring.
Both Setsubun & Risshun are celebrated yearly as part of the Spring Festival (Haru matsuri ) in Japan. In its association with the Lunar New Year, Setsubun, though not the official New Year, was thought of as similar in its ritual & cultural associations of 'cleansing' the previous year as the beginning of the new season of spring. Setsubun was accompanied by a number of rituals & traditions held at various levels to drive away the previous year's bad fortunes & evil spirits for the year to come.
Other Celebrations:
• Lupercalia-
In ancient Rome, this festival was conducted annually on February 13th through 15th under the superintendence of a corporation of priests called Luperci. The origins of the festival are obscure, although the likely derivation of its name from lupus (Latin: “wolf”) has variously suggested connection with an ancient deity who protected herds from wolves and with the legendary she-wolf who nursed Romulus and Remus. As a fertility rite, the festival is also associated with the god Faunus.
to purify the city, promoting health & fertility.
Each Lupercalia began with the sacrifice by the Luperci of goats and a dog, after which two of the Luperci were led to the altar, their foreheads were touched with a bloody knife & the blood was wiped off with wool dipped in milk; the ritual required that the two young men laugh. The sacrificial feast followed, after which the Luperci cut thongs from the skins of the sacrificial animals & ran in two bands around the Palatine hill, striking with the thongs at any woman who came near them. A blow from the thong was supposed to render a woman fertile.
In 494 CE the Christian church under Pope Gelasius I forbade participation in the festival. Tradition holds that he appropriated the form of the rite as the Feast of the Purification (Candlemas), celebrated on February 2, but it is likely that the Christian feast was established in the previous century. It has also been alternately suggested that Pope Gelasius I replaced Lupercalia with St. Valentine’s Day, celebrated on February 14th, but the origin of that holiday was likely much later.

🔮 In the Mona Lisa, we behold a portrait of a witch, a mistress of magic whose subtle beauty and power are unmatched in the world of mortals. 🧙‍♀️ Her dark brown eyes are deep pools of mystery, hinting at the secrets she holds close to her heart.
🌿 She wears a dark green cloak embroidered with intricate gold patterns, evoking the power of the forest and the earth. 🍃 Her cats are her familiar spirits, their fiery orange fur a symbol of the element of fire that animates her magic. 🔥
✨ She reminds us that there is magic all around us, waiting to be discovered, and that the greatest mysteries of life are often found in the shadows, waiting to be unveiled by those with the courage and the will to seek them out. 🌟

accessing your Descendant in astrology through shadow work
Tumblr media
your Descendant is the cusp of your 7H, the exact opposite from your Ascendant/rising. while our Ascendant is how we exist in the world and what’s seen by others, your Descendant is what is hidden from others. it’s the traits we put in the closet so no one finds them. it’s one of the deepest parts of you, because not only is it out of sight from others, but usually out of sight from the individual themselves. you deny deny deny these qualities and find them impossible to be around, yet subconsciously look for them in others because deep down you know it’s part of who you are. some of these traits aren’t even considered negatively, but you will inherently view them as so. in order to come to balance with ourselves, we much accept the dark along with the light. practicing shadow work is a great way to peer into the closet and shed light on these characteristics in order to cope with them healthily.
Aries Descendant: you deny the individuality in yourself. with a Libra Ascendant, your whole demeanor is dependent on your personal relationships. you hate the idea of figuring out who you are all on your own and rely on others to do it for you. you love to play the amiable card; you are friendly with everyone even if you shouldn’t be, you refuse to take sides, and you refuse to stand up for yourself. people who are too opinionated, loud, or aggressive get on your nerves, so you bury your anger, whether that means you express it only while alone or don’t express it at all. everyone knows the infamous expression: if you bottle it up, the bottle will pop eventually. getting a little fizz in their eyes is better than the bottle cap smacking them in the face. Aries wants you to get off the floor and be your own person, even if that means making a few people upset.
Taurus Descendant: you deny the simpleness in yourself. with a Scorpio Ascendant, your whole demeanor is a result of the life experiences that have shaped you completely. the rollercoaster is all you’ve ever known, and all you think you can have. you shrug off everything that is thrown your way as if it’s normal for life to come with so many trials, and that you would be illusioned to think or want otherwise. you think people who crave a simple life are boring or unattached to the world, when in reality deep down you crave the same thing. you might even feel that a life of simplicity is a sign of immaturity in terms of life experiences, and so you are almost proud of the tribulations you have undergone to become the person you are. Taurus wants you to make a life for yourself that warrants stability.
Gemini Descendant: you deny the logic in yourself. with a Sagittarius Ascendant, your whole demeanor is configured from your views of the world. you rely on real world experiences to bring you motivation and emotion. you love the pure idea of possibility and never take things at face value. you wish other people shared your same level of thoughtfulness when taking into account the world around us. you strive to reach beyond what you already know and take it a step further. you don’t like when people are too reasonable to look past the facts and develop a more insightful opinion, and so you start to completely ignore facts as a whole. your view of the big picture limits you from seeing key facts inside the picture. Gemini wants you to zoom in and see all the undeniable details.
Cancer Descendant: you deny the care in yourself. with a Capricorn Ascendant, your whole demeanor is based on the notion that emotions are optional, and an obstacle. you want to get through life by doing the things you know: working hard and being responsible. you don’t do anything that would damage your reputation as a reserved and professional individual. you are extremely self motivated and love to be in control of your own life, so much to the point you view emotions as something that controls you, and so you hide them from the world and from yourself. letting yourself feel even a small ounce of any mood: happiness, sadness, anger, fear, etc. makes you feel as if they control you and your actions. you look down on people who live in their feelings and embrace them. Cancer wants you to dig into these emotions and just feel them, and understand that they aren’t controlling you, but that they’re a part of you.
Leo Descendant: you deny the ego in yourself. with an Aquarius Ascendant, your whole demeanor is dependent on the idea that in the grand scheme of things, you alone don’t really matter. the world is much much larger than you and you know it with every ounce of your being. you don’t care how people view you because unless you’re a big part of their lives, you think that they’ll just forget you in a matter of time. you are wholeheartedly yourself, because you’re too busy thinking of others to try to pretend to be someone else. you become not only annoyed with people who are too interested in themselves, but also with the society that is interested in them. you strongly feel that no one matters more than another, and that everyone should realize and embrace this. Leo wants you to be interested in yourself and realize that you matter more than you know.
Virgo Descendant: you deny the conflict in yourself. with a Pisces Ascendant, your whole demeanor thrives on your intuitiveness with the world around you. you are a reflection your environment; others will almost always see you how they want to see you. although this can be conflicting because not a lot of people will see you for you truly are, you feel that reality has no boundaries. you thrive on the fantasy of the world and almost enjoy that you can be so permeable. you are annoyed by people who throw harsh realities in your face, and wish that they could see the world as the magical place you do. because of this, you can become too averse to reality and stay up in the clouds forever. you ignore yours and the world’s problems. Virgo wants you to come down to the ground every once in a while and take responsibility.
Libra Descendant: you deny the sociability in yourself. with an Aries Ascendant, your whole demeanor is based off your relationship with yourself. you feel as though you know yourself well, at least enough to be unapologetically you. you prioritize yourself emotionally, even if it means hurting others. you say what you think and feel and have no remorse for it because you are proud of who you are and your beliefs. people who are too wishy washy or act like a doormat annoy you, and so you make sure you are always on a side, especially your own. you hate the idea of other people having a say or influence on who you are as a person, so you push them away. Libra wants you to open up and accept others while granting them the same patience and grace you grant yourself.
Scorpio Descendant: you deny the complication in yourself. with a Taurus Ascendant, your whole demeanor screams stableness and comfort. you appear to be easy going and even-tempered, and want to keep it that way. people who come off too tempestuous are overdramatic and annoying to you, so you hide all of your turbulent, passionate feelings and trade them in for a nonchalant vibe. you feel that if these feelings were on display and someone saw them, they would judge you or think of you differently/negatively for it. in turn, you become passive and start denying your emotions out of habit even when alone or in “safe” environments. Scorpio wants you to look at the deep passion you feel and embrace it.
Sagittarius Descendant: you deny the optimism in yourself. with a Gemini Ascendant, your whole demeanor is limited to what you know to be true. you go through life with an undeniable colorful curiousness that pushes you to look through the facts and stick to them. once you’ve learned something, you feel there’s no need to keep digging to find more answers. you take the world at face value and appreciate it as is. people who keep looking deeper and ask all the unrealistic “what if” questions annoy you, so you stick to your facts and evidence. it’s extremely hard for you to stop focusing on the details and get out of your head even for a minute. Sagittarius wants you to zoom out and look at the bigger picture and all of it’s possibilities.
Capricorn Descendant: you deny the cold in yourself. with a Cancer Ascendant, your whole demeanor comes from your emotions. you feel everything so intensely, and the emotions are very come-and-go but seem everlasting. you wear your heart on your sleeve, and feel that it allows you to connect and care for people more deeply. giving is at the forefront of your nature, especially to the people closest in your life. you open up to these people to show your love and affection. people who come across detached can really upset you, and so while you might be shy, you don’t hide your moods away. you sit and embrace your feelings so much to the point that they control you and your relationships, rather than you handling them. Capricorn wants you to detach yourself from your mood sometimes and develop some discipline.
Aquarius Descendant: you deny the unpredictable in yourself. with a Leo Ascendant, your whole demeanor is focused on you rather than the world around you. you feel that you truly have a place in the world and are determined to find it. you know that no matter how large the world may seem, you alone do matter even if others try to make you think differently. because of this realization, your ego can take over and make you hyper aware of how others view you. feeling like you have the magnifying glass on you at all times can cause you to lose sight of the needs of the world. you become annoyed with people who do not focus on themselves the way that you do, because you feel it is the true path to peace. Aquarius wants you to pay attention to the world around you and learn to love it like you’ve learned to love yourself.
Pisces Descendant: you deny the imagination in yourself. with a Virgo Ascendant, your whole demeanor is based on reality. you see the world for how it truly is, and don’t want to pretend it’s anything else. you like to look at the world as unchanging and unforgiving, because you feel like focusing on dreams only distracts you from cold realities that always find a way to sneak up on you. you can’t help but see everything that is wrong with the world, and wish people were as concerned as you about fixing it. people who aren’t concerned with their problems annoy you, because you feel like you are the only one who is trying. Pisces wants you to relax and find the beauty in the unknown.
