🔥 Magic potion to heal and re-energize 🔥

I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling out of it right now. There's weird energies in the air... So here's my recipe for a quick re-energizing potion you can make any time you need to bring the 🔥 back

🔥 Ingredients & Properties

1 or 2 slices of lemon, for energy, balance, and purification

1 pinch of cinnamon, for power, desire, and romance

1 slice of fresh ginger, for strength, fertility and adventure

1 teaspoon of honey, for healing, prosperity, and love

1 pinch of cayenne pepper, for fire, passion and protection

1 teaspoon of cider vinegar, for health and positivity

🔥 Instructions

Place all ingredients in a mug. Cover with boiling water.

While stirring in a clockwise direction, focus on your potion, its color, smell and strength, and repeat this incantation: “Cold and sickness flee from me, Health and fire come to me”.

Drink immediately.

Aragorn's Tenacity

-A Spell to Hold Someone to Thier Word-

this is one of my personal spells and can even be cast on yourself

You will need:

a white candle

a representation of the person and thing you’re aiming the spell at

thread of any color though I prefer black or gold

whatever incense herbs crystals you connect with willpower and truth

Steps-

Do whatever you need to do to prepare yourself for the spell. Circle casting, cleansing, meditation etc

Light the candle and incense, focus on the image/ object and the intent to hold the person to their word, be it a promise broken or one newly made

Visualize the promise being honored, or repaired if it has been broken

Say the following

“A bargain struck, a promise made

And to it we both hold

Honor, trust, and truth our bond

And to our will this deal we mold

Until the deed be done

Until our business is through

I hold you to your word

And now, what say you?”

Tie the string around the object as you repeat the words, binding the person to their promise.

Continue to visualize the success of the spell as the incense burns out.

Either allow the candle to burn down or snuff it out, clean up and keep the bound object somewhere safe in a bag or box somewhere where you can keep it until the bargain/ promise is upheld.

Warning Spell

This spell is a good substitute for a Hex when your emotions of fear and anger are taking over. This spell will work more on you than the other person. It will allow you to build strength and take charge of your emotions to find a way to calm down and seek a solution.

Light one black candle and one blue candle after cleansing yourself and space. Speak this spell out loud and then end your spell by blowing out your candles.

"My blood turns black, and flesh turns blue. I will curse you if you force me to. From left with sighs and negative ties, I clear your eyes and curse your lies. I'll call the strength of a plague of flies with the blood gone black and flesh of blue, the evil is sent back to you. My soul now clean and yours on fire, you mess with a witch you get burned you liar. With harm to none nor return unto me, as I will it so mote it be."

Don't forget to set your intention. Be clear of the warning you want to send. This is not to harm anyone, but to simply remind them not to fuck with a witch!

How I Make Eggshell Tea Candles

One of my favorite little witchy crafts (and highly requested by my online bestie @field-of-asphodel <3) here is my how-to-do for homemade eggshell tea candles!

(Photo pictured below is NOT mine)

What You Will Need:

Eggs

Herbs and/or flower petals of choice (I like to use rosemary for growth, lavender for calm, and cornflower for knowledge in the incoming months)

Wax (color of choice, I use plain)

Instructions:

*Please remember that you are handling wax, something that can very easily cause burns! Practice good fire safety, and take care of yourself <;3*

Gently crack shells at the pointed ends. Make sure to save the yolks and whites for use later; I don't encourage wastefulness!

Carefully peel out the membrane

Sterilize the eggshells with boiling water

Add wicks to the bottoms of your eggshells once they've dried (I encourage air-drying. Eggshells are of course very fragile, so trying to dry them yourself could lead to cracks/breaks)

Pour melted wax into the shells, just enough to cover the wicks (be careful not to cover)

Sprinkle in your dried herbs/flowers of choice before the wax cools and sets

Let the wax cool

And there you go! It's a very easy craft (the hardest part for me is peeling out the membrane) and I hope y'all enjoy it :)

MAKE A BACK-UP: A SOLLUX SPELL (Taken from @popculturepagan (now deactivated))

Sollux Captor is known for many things, but “coming back to life” and “computer programming” are two of the most prominent. This spell combines these two traits to help you. This spell aims to create a back-up, a safety net, a free man, a get-out-of-jail-free-card, so if something in your future goes wrong, you can bounce back unscathed. This spell is a preventive spell to be used before the fact, to help protect your future in luck, love, fortune, or otherwise.

I’m trying to experiment with spells that use more traditional witchy ingredients, while being a little simpler in the process itself. I hope this works well.

What you will need:

A Glass Jar with a Lid

A Horseshoe Magnet, preferably blue/red (Like this)

One or More Symbol(s) of what you’d like to protect

Aluminum Foil

Paper and Pens

Sticky Label/Post-it Note

Optional: A Lil’ Bit of Honey

First, you need to decide what specifically you are creating a back-up of. Is it your emotions, to save yourself from nervous breakdown? Is it your bank account, to save yourself from bankruptcy? Think of anything that you can loose, but gain again. It will come back to you in a different form, but it will return. Once you have decided on what things you are creating a back-up for, whether it be one or many, you need two things form it. First, is a physical representation of that concept. Second, is a word or two that describes it.

Here are some examples of things you’d create a back-up for, and items and words that represent them.

Money/Financial Security: A Coin, “Money”

Emotional Strength and Reserve: A Photo of You, “Emotion.”

Employment: An Office Pen, “Job”

Loving Relationships: Jewerly, “Love”

Stable Housing: A rock from outside, “House.”

As you can see, the object and word do not have to be “mystical” or even rare, just something that has a strong connection.

Once you have this figured out, write the following ~ATH (“til death”) code onto your paper, replacing “X” with your words. (If you have more than one thing you are backing up, separate with a comma.) Make sure to keep each line and space consistent, they are important.

"copy THIS ["X"]

rename THIS [“X”2]

~ATH THIS { “X”

} execute (“X”2);

THIS (“X”).die;”

Examples:

"copy THIS [job]

rename THIS [job2]

ect…”

"copy THIS [money, emotion]

rename THIS [money2, emotion2]

~ATH is a obscure programming language that Sollux has perfected that runs programs at the termination of something’s life. If you’d like to be particularly fancy, you can write the code down using red and blue ink. If you are inclined, you can add personal sigils to the back.

What this code is programmed to do is make a copy of something, and on the termination of the original, release the copy.

Put this piece of paper at the bottom of your glass jar.

Now, take the object (or objects) used to represent what you are copying. Hold them tightly to yourself, and think.

This is no longer just a photo, or a rock, this is my emotions or this my house. Look upon this object as the physical name of a concept far greater, the anchor this concept has in the physical world. Hold it tightly until you believe, and know, of it’s greater purpose.

Take the aluminum foil and wrap the object up, as tight as you can. Wrap it in two layers— two. The foil is a protection agent that will keep the concept safe from whatever comes your way. If you have multiple objects, wrap them up individually. Place them in the mason jar, on top of the coded paper.

Now, add in the horseshoe magnet. This magnet is split and polarized, like Sollux himself, and will function as a good luck charm of a horseshoe and a draw to Sollux. (This is why the blue/red coloring is preferred. If you don’t have a blue/red magnet, you can paint or mark yours, or simply do without.) Try to place it facing upwards, if at all possible. If you are a Homestuck pagan, you can also offer Sollux a prayer (such as the one here, or another of your choice.) This final element should bring attention to help execute your programming (because ~ATH is a particularly finicky programming language, and it seems only Sollux has mastered it…) and just a pinch of good luck that any project needs.

Finally, seal the jar with the lid tightly. Label the jar “back_up.~ath” with your label or post-it note and place the jar on a shelf where it will be safe to protect your back-up until it is needed. When it comes time for it to be needed, don’t remove the objects from the jar! Keep them in the jar so they can function from with in. When it is used, it might be a good idea to thank Sollux for aiding you in the execution of this spell.

As an optional step, if you are in a place where you can do so, add a lil smudge of honey to the lid of the jar. This is a symbolic offering to the purple programming bees that run computers on Alternia. Do not eat the honey. Under no circumstances, should you eat the honey.

I hope this spell can help you recover from a lot of things and keep on your merry way, as well as give you peace of mind. We all need a little back-up.

Everybody has their own way to open and close spells and rituals. When I first started Witchcraft one of the things that used to annoy me was how many variants of everything there were. I was so used to a standard of doing things it never occurred to me that everyone just connects in different ways.

Opening and closing rituals and spells does not have to be a complicated drawn out process. Sometimes if I’m in a hurry (okay most of the time) I will just use some quick visualization and move on. But if I’m really feeling that I need to put the time in I’ll follow these steps. Like always if you don't’ connect with something, change it to work for you.

Opening your spell

Clearing your space

If you are getting ready to perform a ritual one of the first things to do is clear the energy of the space. This is really easy and usually just achieved by lighting incense and cracking the window. (Yes I know energy can move in and out without opening any windows but the smoke needs an escape route.)

If you are unable to light incense or the smoke is really irritating, set out a clear glass bowl of water with salt added to it. Set it out for a few minutes to clear up any energy in the room and then you can just flush it down the toilet.

Meditating

After clearing the space where I will be doing some magic it’s time to clear my head. Usually this just takes a few minutes to meditate on what I call ‘the day away.’ If you’re anything like me (an over-thinker) then you know your mind is full of all the junk that you’ve been thinking about and that’s not good for spell work. You don’t want your own energy messing up your spell, so take the time and clear your mind and process out anything that will interfere with your magic.

Casting your circle of protection

Casting a circle for protection is super important in magic. You don’t want anything coming in and bothering you during your spell casting and you want to be safe when you are opening yourself up.

To cast a circle, I usually just use a quick visualization and imagine a bubble around me made up of bright white light. You can crystalize the circle if you feel like you need some extra protection.

If I’m feeling fancy, I might sit on the floor and create a physical circle with various candles (mostly tea lights). You can also add in incense, crystals or anything else to help you get into the witchy mood.

Closing your spell

Thanking the energy in the room

Closing your spell is much easier and doesn’t really require as many steps. For me, this usually just involves me blowing out any candles or incense I have going and thanking the energy in the room.

Releasing your circle

You will also want to release your circle of protection. If you use the visualization, you will want to visualize it dissolving or if you have candles placed around you in a circle you can start to remove them signifying the ritual is complete and the circle is no longer needed.
