“They ran off pretty quick.”
“Yup.”
Sage looked over at the remaining member of Team RWBY as she nipped at the strawberry ice cream bar she held. Yang, if he recalled her name right.
“Want to have a singles night?” she asked, “you know, go out dancing, dinner, movies, go to a hot spring joint...”
Sage’s eyebrow rose.
“That sounds like a date.”
“It really isn’t.”
“It sounds like it.”
“Well, it’s not.”
Yang finished her ice cream and tossed the stick into a nearby trash can.
“Hey, it’s either singles night with me or wait until your friends get back. And trust me when I say Blake can take a long time when she and Sun are in protest mode.”
“Alright,” Sage said with a shrug, “why not? Could be fun.”
No sooner had he finished talking then Sage found himself yanked towards the parking lot and a yellow motorcycle.
“Don’t be afraid to hold on tight if we’re going fast,” Yang said with a wink, “A girl can appreciate a man with common sense.”
Sage didn’t let go until they reached the first club.
In under five minutes.
Since Yang apparently thought traffic laws were more like suggestions.

Gosh I remember when wise dragon (Yang x Sage) was actually a point of speculation back in volume 2. Aesthetically they're a very cute couple. Found some adorable arts and fics of them back then. Literally zero stuff for them now though. Real shame :(
Yeah, I think since Sage just didn’t get a character even now put a big damper on the ship.

Sage : wheres the rest of my team?
Yang : they are yanging around somewhere

*sage warped his arms around yang and cuddled her til they both fell asleep in each other arms *

Episode 1: Lancaster: The Mistletoe Kiss
Blake: Sun, I'm not so sure about this.
Sun: Come on! You know you wanna see it too.
Blake: I know, but how are we gonna get Ruby and Jaune to kiss?
Sun: I have that covered. *shows mistletoe* The ultimate romantic plant in the world! And since it's the month of December, an extra little Christmas spark to boot!
Blake: Hmmmm, we still need to find a way to actually get them in a room together.
Sun: Oh I have that covered. *picks up scroll and calls* Sage, are you and Yang ready?
Sage: You know it, bro! Nothing like a batch of Christmas cookies to lure out Ruby.
Yang: Decorated with the finest icing and candy, I might add.
Sage: Indeed you did, dear. Mwah!
Yang: Awww.*smiles* Maybe I should get you under the mistletoe next.
Sage: Hopefully in a more private-
Sun: Guys! Focus here!
Sage: *ahem* Anyway, the bait is ready. We even have Jaune's favourite, candy canes.
Sun: Alright! Team BSSL, go!!!!
Sage/Yang: Yeah!!!! *hang up the scroll*
[At the Beacon Common Room]
Ruby: Oooooooh. *gazes at the Christmas cookies and eats a snowman one* Mmmm~
Jaune: *munches on a candy cane* Nom! Oh hi, Ruby!
Ruby: Hi Jaune! How was the mission?
Jaune: It was fantastic! Ren totally kicked ass out there against this group of mercenaries and Nora and Pyrrha managed to get everyone to safety. The mayor was so happy that he awarded us with these medals!
Ruby's eyes sparkled as Jaune showed her a gold medal with the emblem of a lion on it.
Ruby: Wow! It looks so cool!
Jaune: I know, right? Oh and, uh, *shuffles feet* I also got you this. *hands Ruby a gift wrapped in white and red*
Ruby: *blushes* Oh! Thanks Jaune!
Jaune: It's a shame you can't open until Christmas, though.
Ruby: I have no doubt that it's worth the wait. *smiles* Thank you.
For a moment, the two of them couldn't stop staring into each other's eyes. They felt faces go red and tried to look elsewhere, with both of them catching a glimpse at mistletoe hanging above them. They looked at it and back at each other. Ruby and Jaune smiled nervously as they inched closer. Their hearts were racing a marathon as they closed the gap between their lips and kissed each other. It was small and they pulled apart for a few seconds, but they both couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear.
Ruby/Jaune: *holding each others' hands* Merry Christmas.
From behind the sofa, Sun and Blake cheered silently. Their plan worked! Operation Orange Mistletoe was a success!

—New Lancaster City—
Noir: Peek-a-boo! Peek-a-boo!
Baby Marcus: *laughing*
Yang: Hehehe, awww. Marcus seems to like you. Usually, he cries around strangers.
Noir: That's because he recognises that I'm the best uncle. *smiles at Marcus* Isn't that right? Isn't that righf?
Baby Marcus: *spits up*
Noir: *recoils* Aw! Aw dude!
Yang: *stifles a laugh* Don't worry, I got it. *takes Marcus*
Sage: And I got this, here you go, best uncle, *hands Noir a towel*
Noir: Oh shut up, your majesty.
Blanc: Dinner will be ready in 5 minutes guys. Ruby, Jaune, can you set up the table?
Ruby: Aye, aye! *grabs the plates*
Jaune: Thanks for inviting us over, Blanc.
Blanc: No trouble, bro. Besides, this might be the only weekend we have before we get called on another mission.
Jaune: *sighs* You don't have to tell me twice. Ever since Weiss took over SHIELD, she's been more of a pain than James.
Ruby: Don't let her catch you saying that. She'll probably put itching powder in your boots again.
Sage: *nearly spits out drink* Oh I remember that! It was when you fought against Black Bolt! As soon as you beat him, you used his tuning helmet to scratch your feet.
Yang/Noir/Ruby/Blanc: *laughing*
Jaune: *sighs* Why do you guys always have to remember the remember the embarrassing stuff? It's never anything good, like when I beat Cardin, or when I won against Nora at arm wrestling or how I survived the Mandarin.
Ruby: Come on, sweetie. Lighten up, *hugs Jaune* We still love you. *kisses his cheek*
With the table finally set, the Arc and Ayana family sat down for dinner. Before Blanc could cut up the roasted pork, however, the lights began to flicker.
Yang: What's going on?
Baby Marcus: Mrrrr.
Ruby: It's probably nothing. Come on, Blanc, I'm starving.
Blanc: Easy now, *chuckles* that roast isn't going anywhere.
The flickering continued and became more intense. An ominous feeling filled the air and several car alarms started going wild. The noise was overwhelming and distressing Marcus, who let out a loud cry.
Yang: Hey, hey, hey shhhhhh *gently rocks Marcus*
Jaune: What the hell is going on here? *goes to the window*
Jaune peered out of the window to see what was happening. Suddenly, a bright flash of light appeared and all the lights in the apartment ceased function, scaring everyone. The crackling sound of electricity followed and from the light stumbled out a strange, humanoid figure. Jaune jumped back aghast.
Jaune: What the hell?
Noir: What is it, Jaune?
Jaune: Um... I'm not sure exactly, but it looks like we gotta investigate. Ruby, Noir, come with me. Blanc, you stay here with Yang and Sage.
The 3 of them headed outside, armed with their weapons. On the road, they got a better look at the figure. Whoever it was wore a pink bodysuit with a white lightning pattern, and white boots. Small sparks of white electricity surrounded it. Ruby pointed her gun directly at it, ready to shoot. Suddenly, its fingers began twitching and its eyes stirred awake.
Jaune: Hold your fire.
The person in pink struggled to stand up and tore its mask off. Jaune, Ruby and Noir stared at the person standing in front of them. It was a woman. She had short, orange hair, bright blue eyes and freckles.
Ruby: Nora? What are you doing here? Is everything okay on Asgard?
Nora stared back at the three people in front of her. She looked at everything around her, from the buildings, streets and even the lamps.
Jaune: Nora? Is everything okay?
Nora: *blinks twice* Who the hell are you guys?
