Imagine if Yuu had to do a concert during VDC and they start singing The Party Isn't Over by JT Music alongside the light music club (Cater, Lilia and Kalim).

Oh, I love this idea! That behind NRC tribe's back, the mc went to the light music club along with kalim to do their own thing. When they go on stage after the NRC tribe, vil and the others start complaining about how the mc and Kalim betrayed them. But unlike the NRC tribe, they’re just there to have fun.

Slight AU at the end 'cause the results ended surprisingly differently than in-game. Also, the song was very long so had to write a more animatic style.

Everyone had taken their seats in the VIP area after their own successful performance. As they all gave a sigh of relief at the fact that the performance was over and done with, Jamil was looking around with an annoyed and worried face. grumbling that Kalim probably got lost again.

"hey, Jamil. I think I found him," deuce whispered to the anxious vice dormleader. He pointed to the stage and the group gasped in a mixture of shock and offense when they noticed Kalim and Mc on the stage with Cater and Lilia.

"Please give a warm welcome to the Light music club! They will be performing a song called 'Party Isn't Over!" The announcer boomed over the crowd. It became silent as the upbeat synth started.

Cater: I can be your superstar Kalim: We're electric-charged tonight Lilia: Like the amp on my guitar! Mc: And sparks are really starting to fly!

Cater: You opened up my heart and I let you inside My song lacked soul, but you played the part that so long I've been longing to find

Lilia: You really got me feelin' awful hungry for love I promise, I'm not gonna bite! And despite my claws and my shiny jaws You can bring out my acoustic slide

Kalim: Oh, who is this that I see? It's a brand new friend! Who goes out with others to help amend Mc: I'm a bit lost, it's true! I've adapted and grew As I've gone through this over and over and over again

Kalim: Comе make new friends tonight! Then we can party all night! All: With Kalim, Cater, Lilia, last but not least, Mc! Lilia: The party was over, but we're gonna throw it again! Cater and clones: Do it over and over and over again! Cater and clones: It's our show and you know that it won't ever end! Mc: Don't look too close, because then you knew All: 'Cause the party isn't over for you!

The crowd oohed and awed as the students used a mix of magic and dancing to create quite an amazing spectacle. The group on stage laughed joyously as they continued to sing.

Cater: Emergency alert, Look out for the leech! Lilia: Listen up, on guard, look out you three! Mc: Wrong place, wrong time, we just happened to be! Mc: Don't need magic to be attendin' for free Mc: honestly wish for a normal day, pretty please? Mc: I'm in charge of this school to a degree! Mc: I promise to try and keep some peace Mc: Please just keep me alive and kicking Mc: Oh seven, that sounded wrong! Nevermind, let's go fix this Mc: With how these students have gone Mc: There's just so much that we cant dismiss Mc: But the different fights aren't much danger Mc: Compared to meeting so many strangers Mc: Stay away from crazy students! Mc: they might just spring or snap into mutants!

Kalim: Don't be afraid, you're a superstar! Lilia: You're gonna rock on 'til the end! Cater: After all, it was you who lit a spark in my heart All: Now the party is starting all over again!

Cater: Who's here enjoying this song? Kalim: somethings just not quite right? Lilia: I been alive for oh so long! Mc: I never asked for this kinda life!

All: Do it over and over and over again After a few small minutes, now we know it won't end It's our coffin with often others making problems again Hit the lights, come to life, no more time to pretend!

The crowd erupted into cheers, as many screamed and clapped, some even demanding an encore. The group on stage thanked everyone as they moved off stage. The group hugged and congratulated each other for the fun performance and tricks they did via magic. They hurried to their seats to watch the rest of the show.

The group bantered and whispered to each other in the VIP seats, ace and deuce saying how mc betrayed them. while Jamil talked with Kalim, somewhat impressed at how he kept it a secret from him.

Once all the shows were over the groups were brought onto the stage for crowd voting. Kalim happily stood between the two groups of the light music club and the NRC tribe.

"Thank you all for your patience! Please scan the QR code on the screens and brochures to cast your vote for your favorite performance this fine afternoon." The stadium fell into silence and quiet murmuring as people casted their digital votes. The two groups on stage were sweating, anxious to know if they won. "Thank you to all those that voted! we are tallying the results now. Drumroll please!" The announcer boomed as a drumroll was played. "Congratulations to... The light music club! With RSA and NRC taking 2nd and third place respectively. It's incredible that the groups are only one point apart from each other! Give it up folks for the winners!" The crowd exploded into cheers and screams as fireworks of gold, pink, and red went off in the sky. Magical sparkles swirling over the crowd as many surged toward the wining group. Swept away in the crowd they all laughed merrily as they celibrated, singing along with the recorded music of their preformance.

The NRC tribe watched in shock from the stage, Ace and deuce whining how unfair that was, Vil gritted his teeth, and the others slouched in defeat and watched Jamil run after his dorm leader being swept away into the crowd. Crowley was briming with tears of joy at a victory, paling a bit when he recieved a message from the Mc.

*the others dont want the money, I asked. So you owe me $50,000. See you later crow man*

Was it worth it going behind the NRC tribe's back and sneaking Kalim carefully out every night to practice till early morning, to prove themselves, and get the money they deserved for their hard work? Absolutely. And they would do it again.

Sometimes I take a new set and even if I really like it ✨aesthetically✨ I still worry that it's Not Horny Enough and that it'll scare off my paying subscribers if I'm not constantly being as lewd as possible

#creator concerns #took an outside set today that I liked a lot (mostly because I used a bubble machine and it made for some very fun stills)#but there was less cover/privacy than I would have liked so I didn't really strip down as much as I had originally planned #so like kept thinking dang am I going to lose what few subscribers I have if I don't act sluttier?#but ultimately i am doing this as a way to try to stay connected with my own body so maybe it's ok that I just take sets that *I* like too #extremely grateful that I can just do this as a side hustle and not have too much riding on it financially #which is good because I mostly average >$100/month after OF takes their cut #plus the awesome stuff folks send me from my wishlist sometimes 😊#I've gotten more wishlist gifts in the last year than I've gotten regular birthday and xmas gifts combined #so that's a win

Double Troubles

Another Damian and Danny Twins Au idea but they decide to mess with their families once they get over the whole "I thought you were dead!" And "I wasn't sure if you would ever wanna see me again!" And basicly switch places for a while to see whose family would notice first. (They do set up rules for each other though)

Damian pretending to be Danny and 'explaining' to Danny's friends and Jazz his 'powers' are on the fritz due to something the Fenton's parents did with a new invention and "don't worry, I asked Frostbite and Clockwork, they say it has to wear off on its own.". Does he use Fenton Works weapons to fight ghosts. YES. Does he stare down the Ghosts that are confused why the 'ghost boy' doesn't feel ghostly anymore only to play along with Damian (and Danny, when he explains over the phone) theyre just having some fun (ghosts love causing chaos so they'll play along. For now.) Yep. Damian wearing contacts so his eyes are blue. Damian taking care of Danny's bullying problem in secret? Yes.

Meanwhile Danny is having the time of his life pretending to be his serious brother. He even is letting some of his ghost aura out so his eyes are green, not enough to glow neon but a shade lighter than Damian's though. And then doing things so out of character for Damian to do at odd hours of the night and trying to see if he make the rests of the Bats think they're going nuts (A very sleep deprived Tim caught him floating one night in the hallway, they both stared at each other before Danny says in his best Damian voice "No one will ever believe you." Before phasing into the floor). Things get even better when Dani (who was traveling around and felt him nearby) stops by, gets the info on what's going on, and pretends to be Damian too that's been hit by magic and turned into a girl for a day. (Danny totally was just watching in ghost form above everyone invisible)

All the fun ends when Jason returns from a mission with the Outlaws and can legit sense 'Demon brat' feels more dead than he should be.

"DANG IT JASON! I WAS GONNA WIN. JAZZ WAS TOTALLY GOING TO CONFRONT DAMIAN TODAY TOO!"

We’re going to have a stripping game night, whoever loses each game has to take off a piece of clothing. Whoever is naked first has to do anything the winner says for the rest of the night, sound like fun?

But before we do. I’m going to drop you and make it so that no matter how hard you try, how much you want to win. I always end up winning each game. When we play rock paper scissors you’ll remember that Paper does in fact beat scissors. Taking your shirt off. Then you do remember the part of the rules in monopoly that the smartest player doesn’t have to pay rent, so you lose and take off your pants. You’re confident that you will win Mario Cart! Oh dang, your cart is just so slow and you finished in last. There goes your bra. Finally, we play a simple game of chess, but the more you try to think about playing, the more you think about what I might do to you if you lose keeping you distracted enough for me to easily beat you. All right, so maybe I went haring off to another fandom for awhile, but I will never fully let go of my STAR WARS fic reading roots because there's just so much incredible fic here and I have such intense feelings about these characters, like how can I possibly truly leave when this fandom knows how to scratch my id just right or make me cry over fictional characters or hyena laugh because you people are very funny? Name: Neo Bowser City (aka Koopa City in PAL regions)

Debut: Mario Kart 7

Do you ever think of all the weird locations we only ever see in Mario Kart games? Despite being the biggest of all of Mario's spin-off franchises, when you really get down to it, remarkably few Mario Kart courses are actually based on established Mario locations!

It's not none, there's the occasional Donut Plains and Tick-Tock Clock and Airship Fortress, but most of the courses are these weird one-off locations we never see outside the context of that specific racetrack.

But have you ever taken a moment to step back and like, think of the Lore Implications of some of these places?

Like okay! Bowser just owns this whole dang cyberpunk city and we only ever see it in the context of Kart Racing! How messed up is that?!

One day Mario and Friends were looking for new places to race, and Bowser must have said something like "Gwah-hah-hah! I bet you puny punks could NEVER beat me in a race in my cyberpunk metropolis!" and right then and there it was established that Bowser owns a cyberpunk metropolis. Neo Bowser City is a city that exists in the Super Mario World and aside from returning in other Mario Kart games, it hasn't been acknowledged before or since.

Neo Bowser City first appeared in Mario Kart 7, as the third course in the Star Cup. Despite its flashy visuals, it actually doesn't really have a whole lot going on. It's a difficult track with some tight turns made more difficult by the rain making things more slippery, but besides that it doesn't really have any of the Wacky Obstacles that define so many Mario Kart courses.

Then it returned in Mario Kart 8 looking more gorgeous than ever! The bright colors really pop out, and the whole track is just oozing with detail that really emphasizes the scale of this city!

But like, the emphasized scale really only further raises the question of where this exists in the Mario World. Clearly, the fact that Bowser is plastered all over the billboards and the fact it's named "Neo Bowser City" helps us deduce that this city probably belongs to Bowser. Is this located in Bowser's Kingdom? Just how big is Bowser's Kingdom? And why does he own so many separate castles?

Maybe Neo Bowser City exists in the future? Is this a bad timeline? I mean, Mario Kart is allowed to have time-travel shenanigans. There's a Splatoon battle arena and that exists thousands of years in the future so sure, dust off Mario's Time Machine and head to the bad future where Bowser wins. Should've pressed that New Super Mario Bros. big yellow P-Switch!

I asked my friend Mod Chikako for their input and their theory is that Neo Bowser City isn't the future of Mario's world, but of our world. Clearly Bowser just couldn't take Wreck-It-Ralph losing the Oscar vote!

But in that case I guess it's a cooler cyberpunk future than the one we're living in right now. Corporate monopolies that run mass-surveillance with little government intervention due to their extreme wealth giving them extensive political power? No thank you! Neo Bowser City has bright neon colors, and flying cars! If I'm going to live in a dystopia, I want it to be a fun one. The only advertisements I want to see plastered everywhere are ones advertising Bowser!

Boo! That's the bad guy! Thumbs down!

The course returns again in that pitiful mobile game with another redesign, this time letting us see his Coney Island Disco Palace off in the distance. Does Bowser live in his Neo City? Is this worldbuilding we've been missing out on for decades, finally answered by a kart racer? Is this the capital city of Bowser's Kingdom? Am I once again falling victim to my perpetual hubris of overthinking the Mario franchise?

Really, I can't offer too much in terms of wacky fan theories, because I'm still thinking about this location existing in the first place. I'd love to know the Lore and worldbuilding here, but I guess the nature of Mario's canon is that it doesn't need to be over-analyzed. Bowser simply owns a cyberpunk metropolis, we'll only ever see it in the context of kart racing, and maybe that's okay.

Of course, this post wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention Dinohattan from the 1993 Super Mario Bros. Movie, which we've barely talked about on this blog somehow. You see, when the meteor hit, some of the dinosaurs escaped into a parallel timeline where they then evolved into humans, and then they built Dinohattan instead of Manhattan. Get it? Yeah, that movie is all sorts of bonkers. I wouldn't say it's very good, but I kinda love it. I'd recommend checking it out, if only to see a vastly different take on Mario than you'd be used to.

Anyway I bring this up because it's a completely separate instance of a version of Bowser building a large cyberpunk metropolis, and it actually predates Neo Bowser City! Do you think they could be connected? Are Dinohattan and Neo Bowser City one and the same...?

You show up at his office half of the time and just stay there waiting for him to finish his work, then drag him away to some new restaurant you want to try but also want to have him with you as well.

For how long he’s been alive for the longest time, you make him feel young, reminding him of how the first you met each other, back when you were kids and you were rivals fighting to chance to become better than each other (not like that still doesn’t happen at family game night: jing yuan, you, and yanqing all playing together).

You're still bratty and cheeky, that's the one thing that doesn’t change no matter how old you both get. you age like fine wine though, and look better and better getting older and older with your fashion changes but always making you look very beautiful.

You two are always so close with each other and want to stay with him all the time, he even tells you to go and not waste your time here boring yourself to death: like go have fun with everyone else but NO you going to stay here! because...it‘s boring without him.

You cheer for him when he wins a fight, “Whoa you amazing, you went like this and that” Imitating his punches and kicks, ah he can’t help but get a little embarrassed you didn’t have to imitate it! You look better when you’re the one fighting anyway so you shouldn’t be the one cheering for him. He compliments you on your fighting it improved since the last you fought, seeing your eyes light up with joy, if it makes you that happy then he’ll do it more, if he doesn’t get flustered before that.

He worries for you a lot since you’re all bark and bite, yelling and doing the riskiest things without a care in the world (not true since you always know the consequences of your action but still do it anyway) and has to get one of those backpacks with leashes yeah he’s getting that, he doesn’t want you to wind up in prison again for 50th time.

Leon watches Finn for you, and he gets to know you a bit better

Y/N: I'm really glad you liked the first part! I was a little worried it was a little aimless but I did plan to do another part. Lowkey I need to write more older Leon. At this point I might need another part for this story

Leon double-checks his apartment, making sure it doesn't look like a disaster. Better yet, that a kid won't get into anything they aren't supposed to. He here's the knock at his apartment door and tenses up a bit. Taking a deep breath, he opens the door greeted by you and Finn.

"Hey!" You smile brightly and wave.

"Hi, Mr. Leon!" Finn greets him with a smile. His backpack is secure on his shoulders.

"Hey to you both," He says softly, opening his door wider for you both to enter. Finn enters before you, finding a spot on Leon's couch, you approach him.

“Okay Finn, be good for Leon please.” You kiss his forehead as he nods eagerly. You turn to Leon with a soft smile. "Thanks again for doing this for me."

"It's no problem," he brushes it off with a wave with of his hand. "We're neighbors after all." He assures you with a soft smile. You give him a smile back, really appreciating all that he was doing for you.

"I should be back by eight, and you know you don't have to feed him. I can definitely do that."

"I don't mind." Leon assures you, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "Finn is in safe hands." You look at him, and as his blue eyes meet yours. You believe him and trust him.

"You boys have fun." You say with a smile and a wave.

"Bye mom!" Finn says happily as he watches you leave. His legs kicking as he sits on the sofa.

"Alright buddy... you want to do anything?" Leon turns to Finn curiously.

"Mom says I have to finish homework first." He sighs thinking about it.

"Oh gotcha, if you need any help let me know." Leon adds on before leaving Finn to do his work. He tried to not worry too much about him as he did his own thing.

Leon doesn't know how he ended up on the floor on the floor with Uno cards and an eight year old but he that's where he was.

"Okay... I pick red." Leon decides after thinking for a moment. Finn can't hide his smile as he puts down his final card.

"I win!" The boy declares happily.

"Dang, you got me!" He declares feigning upset. He watches as the boy celebrates, and Leon smiles softly. As he watches the bright smile on his face, he can't help but think of Sherry. When they were traveling together after Raccoon city. A knock at the door distracts him from their game. "Wait here for a minute," he tells the boy before he stands. Groaning a bit as he does, he opens to the door to see you with a smile and slightly exhausted look.

"Mom!" Finn runs up and hugs you tightly. You hug him back squeezing him a bit. He rushes off to grab his things, leaving you and Leon in the doorway.

"How was he?" You ask softly.

"Great, he's a really good kid." Leon assures you gently. "And if you ever need help again don't hesitate, okay..?" He looks at you with a soft look in his kind blue eyes. You nod gently in return.

"Thank you..." You reply softly, feeling your cheeks getting a little warm from his gaze. Leon notices and feels his own face get warmer.

"Got everything!" Finn announces happily, his backpack secure on his shoulders. Interrupting whatever was happening between you and Leon.

"Alright, ready to go home?" You ask Finn gently to which he nods eagerly. "Thank you again, Finn say thank you."

"Thank you Mr. Leon!" He replies happily. "I had fun!" He adds on cheerfully, to which the man can't hide a smile.

"It was no problem." Leon says with a nod. You turn to leave but the man suddenly grabs your shoulder gently. You look to him, his blue eyes meeting yours. "I-I'll see you around, right?" A smile comes to your lips.

"I'd be disappointed if I didn't." You say your cheeks red and he only nods breathlessly.

"Yeah..." Is all he can manage to say as he watches you and your son return to your apartment. His cheeks warm as he shuts the door to his apartment.

#24: Family Fun Days (S9E03 & S4E15)

Grimes Family 2.0 has my heart eternally. 🥹 They are the best family to ever grace an apocalypse. And what’s so sweet is during their Family Fun Day in s9 and s4, it truly didn’t even feel like an apocalypse - that’s how much love and joy Rick and Michonne were admirably able to place in their and their kids’ lives. And while the fallen world turned Rick and Michonne into walker-slaying warriors, who they really are to their core are parents. (ours and their kids 😋) So the final Family Fun Day and the first unofficial Family Fun Day are a tie on this list for allowing Richonne to show why they're the greatest parents around...

Starting with the s9 Family Fun Day, one of my favorite parts is when Rick, Michonne, and Judith are walking hand in hand in ASZ. It’s so idyllic and so the type of rewarding happy life these three deserve.

I think back to s5 when Rick and Michonne were outside the gates of ASZ with Carl and baby Judith in the backseat of their car. I love that the leap of faith they took together in coming to this place has now turned into a stable home where they can fully enjoy being family.

I feel like words can’t fully even capture how much I love all this. Their smiles. Michonne cheering Rick on by saying, "come on, daddy." Judith skipping. Rick's countdown. And the way they lift her up and cheer Judith on. Somehow, I never noticed it until this rewatch, but after they lift Judith up, Rick and Michonne say “wow” at the exact same time. Always in sync those two. 🥰

And Rick and Michonne getting to just be parents is the best and so meaningful. After the devastating loss of children, the way Rick and Michonne have risen from those depths of despair and given Judith a beautiful cheerful life is so commendable. And, truly, it speaks to the strength of Rick and Michonne's impact on each other's lives that they can be this healed and happy now.

I’m choked up from just this initial moment and it only gets cuter with each of their activities. It’s clear that this is Judith’s favorite way to spend the day, but make no mistake, this is Rick and Michonne’s favorite way to spend the day too. And I love that Family Fun Days are something they seem to do often and look forward to. (also it's sweet that, throughout the series, we got several indicators that little Judith is a mama's girl 😊)

It was such a joy to see this side of Rick and Michonne, especially knowing we’d only have 2 more eps before Rick’s departure. I love that we got to see Rick just have so much fun as the best girl dad. He deserved to have so many more days like this with his baby girl. 🥲

Also, what I would give to have seen a family fun day that included Rick, Michonne, RJ, Judith, and Carl all together. 😭

The good thing is Rick and Michonne are going to do everything in their power to get home to Judith and RJ, and I have hope TWD's best parents will be able to have plenty more days like this to enjoy with their children whenever the four reunite.

(Side note: Since we're talking Grimes family in this post, can I just say I never understand the complaints about our sweet prince RJ being a regular kid doing regular kid stuff - like ??? To me, it's actually the biggest flex that Rick and Michonne's baby is living a normal life. A whole dang apocalypse hit the earth, and your kid is able to just read comics and ride bikes because, even in the most dangerous possible world, you managed to create some normal (as normal as it can be in that world) stability for your children - What a win. And rather than find him "boring" as a kid under age 10 just living life, I find it heartwarming that RJ Grimes got to be so normal. The mostly peaceful and regular way RJ is living is the very thing Michonne and Rick wanted and fought for. It's the very thing RJ's big brother Carl fought for too. How wonderful that they got what they wanted 🥰👌🏽)

And then the montage includes my absolute favorite visual with the three of them on a picnic blanket all relaxed, with a brief glimpse of Rick handing Michonne a pink flower as Judith seems to notice the way her dad loves her mom. Even in just a .5-second clip of Rick wanting to give Michonne that flower we see yet another example of how Rick so naturally shows love to his wife. 🥰

I love that in s9 especially, Rick was like if y’all don’t know nothing else about me, you’re going to know that I’m head over heels in love with Michonne. And he’s just so good at courting her even in their married era, and I adore how he’s always thinking of how to gift her.

Y’all, everything in this moment (& the deleted picnic scene where Rick expresses wanting more years like this with his wife and kids) gives me so much happiness and peace. Again, it’s so idyllic and tranquil and pretty. I wanted them to live in this moment forever.

The picnic shot is just beauty and I will always cherish it. It makes me think about Carl’s vision in s8, of their family playing hooky. I know Carl would be so proud to see the three of them essentially doing exactly that on this beautiful family fun day. Like this whole montage is truly what Carl wanted most for the three of them. 🥹

To this day, when I see Scott running over while the three are reading, I’m like damn it. 😫 Richonne deserved to have a day to be all about their family and nothing else and Rick and Michonne look like they really do agree with me in the way they both communicate with a wordless look lol.

They don’t want this family time to end, but they know the world is ready to start screaming again. I do like how Rick sees Scott coming but keeps reading tho. Like ‘maybe if we keep reading he’ll just jog past us.’ 😂

Seeing Rick kiss Judith before joining Michonne and Scott is so sweet and so sad because it’s his final interaction with his daughter before he’s taken away for years. 😭

Rick and Michonne again wordlessly communicate upon learning about that murdered savior, and you can tell they’re both disappointed. And I'm disappointed that Family Fun Day was cut short too, but I also was like, I should've known...

But I adore that this scene, which ends up being Rick and Michonne's last time side by side in the present, does not end on disappointment.

Rick is quiet and looking at Michonne, and then he looks away frustrated and stressed, especially because this new development could jeopardize the unity and safety he and Michonne so badly want to build for their people.

It’s so clear how Michonne feels for him, knowing how much they both wanted to have this day to just be. And then the shot focuses on their hands with Rick’s fist clenched to further illustrate his frustration.

But Michonne always knows how to offer Rick the exact right uplifting encouragement and so I love that she then takes his hand. The choreo of it is so good with her slowly sliding her hand into his. It’s symbolic for Michonne to be the one who could most help Rick release his fist, thus release the frustration, and hold onto what matters most.

And, of course, Rick is receptive and holds her hand. He can always receive the positivity Michonne instills in him. And so I love that Rick tightly holds her hand and allows that to be the note they can end on together.

Richonne handholds are always a thing of beauty so I love that their final moment like this ends on that emphasized visual. Even when things fall apart, they’re still in it together. They’re still held together by their love.

Y’all, how do even their hands tell a compelling story? I mean they always have. From exchanging bullets in Clear, to passing mints and holding hands in their canon ep, and this significant final present moment between them. It really does highlight the strength, love, and unity of Richonne's relationship.

It’s also sweet how Rick and Michonne's official romance began with a handhold, and their final moment ends with one too. And while their journey is about to devastatingly take them on separate paths for years, I really feel like this handhold right here actually never breaks.

In many ways, during their years apart, Rick and Michonne still embarked through life as though their true love was still with them, still holding their hand and supporting them because their love is neverending - as noted in both Rick and Michonne's sentiments during the TWD series finale.

(Side note: There’s this interesting contrast I think about - because with losing Lori, part of what made it so painful on Rick is knowing they never got official closure after they grew distant and their marriage fell apart. But then with “losing” Michonne after he was taken, part of what likely makes it so painful for Rick is that their marriage was in such a great spot. Rick and Michonne were so beyond close, happy together, and hopeful for their future just before Rick was taken away. And that’s a unique pain to just be abruptly plucked from the woman you were so longing to spend the rest of your life with. Where the Lori loss featured an element of mourning a clear closed door, the Michonne “loss” is an element of mourning all the doors he hoped he'd open with her. And I’m really curious to see how Rick has been dealing with that type of pain while away in TOWL)

This whole sequence of events in 9.03 is the definition of precious. And the song in the background pairs so nicely with this heavenly time. I love Grimes Family 2.0, and this was like a beautiful love letter to them.

It was a lovely reward for Rick and Michonne after all they've been through in this series. And I just appreciate how much joy was depicted in every moment Rick got with his girls in season 9. (their opening moment in the s9 premiere also gets an honorable mention cuz I absolutely adore it)

So I called this Family Fun Days plural because before Rick and Michonne so adorably had their day as mommy and daddy with Judith, they had another version of a family fun day out in the woods with Carl. And this moment, along with the s9 montage, are my all-time favorite Grimes Family 2.0 scenes.

This one in season 4 is so meaningful because during their s9 family fun day in ASZ they were enjoying merriment in the safety of their community - but here the golden trio of Rick, Michonne, and Carl are traveling while unsure of where they’ll get their next meal or where they’ll lay their head for the night…and yet they smile. 🥹 The levity found in this moment is so important and heartwarming to see.

I love that Michonne was so effortlessly able to be a best friend to Carl and helped him have fun even in an apocalypse. I adore the opening of the scene as Rick talks about resources running low and turns around to see Michonne and Carl adorably preoccupied with their train track competition.

Rick turning around to see Michonne and Carl reminded me of the s9 premiere when the first thing we see of Rick is him opening the doors to watch Michonne and Judith.

I know Michonne’s bond with Carl and Judith means the absolute world to Rick. And I can only imagine how moved Rick would (and will) be to see her bond with their adorable son RJ too. 😭

(Again, I'll never get over the fact that Michonne really carried Rick's child. How extremely beautiful. 🥹And soon Rick is going to finally know all about the son he made with the love of his life. Won't He Do It! 🥳)

I always appreciate that Rick walks over to Michonne and Carl, letting them have the moment a little longer, and the way Michonne playfully tries to win their competition. Carl sharing the Big Cat because "we always share" is also just so sweet.

And, of course, you know I love the way that man Rick is grinning while watching and appreciating this wholesome family moment. 🥰The way he keeps sneaking glances at Michonne as he smiles - I forever stand by the fact that Rick has fallen in love with Michonne by this point.💯

Even despite their circumstances, the three seemed so happy in this moment cuz they’re together the way it was meant to be. And I love that Michonne and Rick both valued giving Carl a good childhood against all odds.

In Carl’s devastating final episode "Honor" he tells Michonne "Don't carry this - not this part," and I always like to think that this moment on the tracks is one of the parts of their journey Carl hopes Michonne holds onto instead. Cuz it was such a beautiful happy moment that cemented the three as a family.

And, clearly, she and Rick did choose to carry the good parts with Carl and even pass it on to Judith as they and their daughter so presently enjoyed a day of fun and games seasons later, where for a few hours they didn't have to be community leaders or fierce fighters. Instead, Rick and Michonne just got to be what they so cherished being - mom and dad. Grimes family forever. 🤍

“Bdoubledown? Our little guy? Aw, that’s adorable!”

Impulse rolled his eyes, adjusting the communicator in his hand, making sure not to jostle the man asleep next to him. His hand was still slowly massaging Bdubs’ scalp, admiring every curl and wave. He’d been doing it for hours, and frankly, never wanted to stop.

“Shut up, Skizz.”

“I mean it, man! Bdubs is a good guy! If I were on that Double Life server, I’d want him as a soulmate too! Guy’s loyal- you know how he was with Etho.”

Impulse hummed in agreement, looking around the mostly-dirt room they’d set up in so far, although Bdubs had promised him a mid-modern century house by the end of the week. He was excited for that, excited for the life series to come.

“It’s been fun. He’s great. Everyone’s been calling us newlyweds, which is interesting.”

Skizz laughed. “So, hypothetically, if you die, how long of a grace period would it be until I could take your place and have Bdoubledown as my soulmate? Asking for a friend.”

Impulse had to stifle a snort. “Skizz, if I die, he does too. I told you that already.”

“Dang it!” Skizz exclaimed. “I just miss all my buddies so much. Kill a couple of people for me, why don’t ya? And give Bdubs a big ol’ smooch from his best friend Skizzleman.”

“Good bye, Skizz.” Impulse said, chuckling.

“You just wait, man! I’ll be back for the next life series, and I’ll dominate it! I’ll win the whole thing! But seriously buddy, have fun. Miss ya!”

“Miss you too, man.”

Hi'i: A little tug here, a little pull there

In Pandora, many dangers lie in the lands, skies and the sea. Predators on the lookout for their next hunt. Their next target.

For some prey, being small has many advantages. Better to hide, better to blend in with the environment, better to survive. Can easily navigate through tight areas and avoid bigger threats all together.

Being small definitely has its perks. And more when fighting back against their enemy. Be fighting in groups or fighting solo, being small is mighty. So when a predator is out looking to strike, the prey will always launch in the most unexpected ways.

“I got you!”

“Dang it hi’i!”

What do couples do for fun? Well many go out explore things outside, create fun activities, spend some quality time. Or maybe just enjoy each other's presence.

But for neteyam and hi’i?

Fighting.

Playful fighting to be exact.

And it is always so much fun. Of course neteyam has to be mindful of how small hi’i is. He doesn't even have to use his full strength to easily push her down. But he is always gentle and careful, even when play fighting with her. Would even purposely let her win and take him down as she cheers.

Her happiness is his greatest victory.

So when hi’i jumps on him, climbs or tug his tail, neteyam will admit his defeat.

“You know nete, I am starting to think you are letting me win” Hi’i accused him one day as they lay in the soft grass on a bright afternoon. Her head lay on his chest. Playing with his necklace.

“What makes you think that?” Neteyam asks.

“Well, everytime we ‘fight’ I come out as the winner. And you always lose” Hi’i answers as she boops his nose. Neteyam twitched his nose a bit but smiled nonetheless.

“Well if I win, it wouldn't be a fair fight would it? I can easily take you down and it won't take that much energy to do so” he replies. Huffing a bit, narrowing her eyes in a playful manner, “oh yeah? Just because you are big?”.

Neteyam flashed her a handsome smirk showing his fangs, hi’i blushed like crazy and covered her face while making incoherent sounds. This little action made neteyam laughing, really, anything hi’i does is just too cute for him. “See? I didn't even have to move. And look at you, all blushing for me~” he says while tugging a stand of her hair.

Removing her hands from her face, hi’i stares at him straight in the eyes. Neteyam knows that look. Determination and a new goal all is she has in her mind now. “Alright, let's go at it again. And this time, don't hold back, oh wait never mind you are big. Okay, just use a bit more force than usual. I am still tiny” Hi’i bets.

Already getting pumped up, hi’i gets off of his chest and starts to pull his arm to get up too. “Are you sure? I dont want to hurt you” Neteyam hesitates. Hi’i scoffs confidently, “positive! Now, come on you big bone! Ready, set, go!”.

With a quick tap at his arm, hi’i makes a run for it. Neteyam chuckles at her actions. Shaking his head as he gets up, he stretches, getting ready.

Seems he has a little prey to catch.

Soft giggles were heard, and rustles of the leaves shifted. Seems like hi’i does want to be found. “Ma’yawntutsyip, is this how you plan to hide? I can hear you loud and clear” Neteyam calmly says. His ears twitching to the source of the sounds. Hi’i is good at hiding, but to make herself known is unlike her.

“I really don't see the point of-”

Next thing neteyam knew, he was on his knees, hitting the ground floor. Grunting in the few seconds of pain, he controls his balance.

“YES!” a cheer was heard from hi’i as she jumps from a high root. Smiling triumphantly, she walks to neteyam. “How was that? Bet you were surprised” she asks neteyam in a playful smug way.

“Indeed, it was surprising, but you missed something,” Neteyam says, silently getting ready.

Hi’i raised a brow, “Missed what?”

“This”

Putting some weight on his knees, he lunged forward and lifted hi’i up from the ground, spinning her a bit making her squeal in glee. Carefully holding her by the hips, he swings her around and lifts her up in his arms as he fully stands.

“I see how it is! Take this!” Hi’i challenges.

Crawling around all over his body, hi’i playful tugs on his braids and tail. Would tease him by whispering in his ear. For neteyam, it was a bit ticklish. Hi’i can easily maneuver around his body like a little gremlin. To which some degree, she can be when she feels like it.

“Hey, come on!”

Easily grabbing hi’i by her ankle, he lifts her up in the air. Pulling her away from his body. “Hey! I was just getting started!” hi’i groans as she weakly grabs for his shoulders. Chuckling, he sways her a bit, “you wanted a challenge no? So, now you got it. Don't complain”.

Letting out a war cry, hi’i swings her free leg to wrap around neteyam’s wrist and climb on his arm. Being careful, she goes to his back and makes sure his kuru isn't being harmed.

“Who says I'm complaining~?” She whispers to him in his ear. Neteyam knows that hi’i knows whispering his ears is too much. A little weakness he hates to admit.

“Fine then”

He rolls down on the floor, making hi’i yelp. She let go for a moment, but it was enough for neteyam to grab her wrist. Pinning her to the ground, facing each other as they huff, catching their breaths.

He takes a moment to admire hi’i cute face. Her sparkling eyes, cute nose and those beautiful lips. Honestly, it would be a bit cruel if he won their fight.

“Nete, now isn't the time to stare at me. I know I look good but c’mon!” Hi’i says, breaking him out of his trance. Using her legs, she pushed him off. Turning him on to his stomach, she climbed on top.

“And stop making it easy!”

Alright, be careful what you wish for.

Quickly getting up, he makes hi’i fall on her bum and turns to throw some light punches at her. This is what hi’i wanted, something to challenge her strength!

“That is what I'm talking about!” She says gleefully.

Keeping her composure, hi’i goes under him and pulls on his tail making him hiss, but not in pain. She makes a run for it, making neteyam go around in circles. “Hold still!” he hisses. This makes her laugh loudly, “never! I will keep moving!”.

It was like that for a few hours. A little tug here, a little pull there, getting some laughs from each other. But did hi’i win? Well she isn't sure of standing on neteyam’s chest shouting her victory counts since neteyam went easy on her. Again.

Aaaaaaaaand that is it for this one! Describing actions isnt my toughest style of writing but I hope everyone likes it! until next time! see ya!
