his timeline throughout the show has been abusive father, bullies, gets taken to the upside down, deals with ptsd from that, gets possessed, sees his childhood love dance with someone else then later date and kiss all the time with said person he’s just met, moves away from his home and friends, misses mike and gets treated badly by him, repairs the milkvan relationship, all only to return to hawkins to get plagued by vecna.

gay is not a dirty word and i wish the d*ffers would stop treating it like it is.
will deserved to come out this season.
will deserved for someone to listen and for him to say the words “i’m gay” out loud.
not for byler or for mike or to further mileven, for will. will deserved to come out for will. and instead his sexuality was teased and rumored the entire time with quite literally not a single word directly saying that he is gay and it is okay.
there should have been no confusion for some people who thought will was talking about eleven to mike, will deserves to talk about will and for mike to just shut up and listen. for ANYONE to shut up and listen.
even the hug between jonathan and will, we know what it’s about, but it’s just said as “i’ll love you no matter what” instead of “it’s okay that you’re gay, it doesn’t change that i love you”. it needs to be said, it needs to be verbalized, we and everyone else needs to hear it. they’re not going to pick up on context clues, that’s been shown already.
the d*ffers are profiting off of the idea of gay people. literally waited till after pride month to “address will’s sexuality” and not even say the damn word.
will, you’re more than just the “zombie boy”.
and to my fellow lgbt+ members, i’m so sorry we keep getting led on, used, and flat out disrespected.
