imagine what if all the byers (or at least will and jonathan) are staying with the wheelers during the upside down apocalypse in s5. holly, being the little 6 yro that she is knowing no personal boundaries, has been snooping in mike’s room when he’s not home and found the letters he wrote to will. 

as the byers are moving into to the wheeler household, holly beams and  jumps up to hug will because she hasn’t seen him in so long ”will!” and greets her just as enthusiastically “hi holly! how are you?” still smiling she says “good! i have something for you!” will looks at her surprised “you do?” she grins ”yeah!” she starts bounding up the stairs to get whatever it is she has for him. as she gets to the top of the stairs she yells down “i found it in mike’s room!” 

mike who had been half listening whips around when he hears what holly just said. realizing what she might be referring to he yells and tries to stop her “hey! holly! wait! stay out of my room!” but its too late as holly is now coming down the stairs with a stack of envelopes in her hand and she hands them to will “see! they all have your name on them”

will takes them from her hand and looks at them confused. meanwhile, mike behind him has turned white as a ghost and started to panic as he looks at all his letters to will that are signed “love, mike” and where never meant to be sent are now in the hands of their recipient 

The Aftermath

Because my boys are both going to survive this show or so help me god

ya know i really hope in season 5 will gets to be one of the main focuses, and also be like. conscious. please let him be in the spotlight without being missing or possessed. he deserves it even just this once. please let this be HIS season 🙏

Mike Wheeler for sure belongs to a sentimental type of "call me when you're home" boyfriends and kisses Will goodbye, runs to count how long it takes to bike from his home to the Hopper-Byers' house with all his maps and watches, finds out it takes 22 minutes, panics when Will doesn't call in time, and when he finally calls, Mike is like "what happened Will are you okay??? What took you so long?!"

"... Abort, Lucas, it's not code red anymore, he's home".

So Mike noticed Will moping around Rink o Mania, but he didn't notice Will crying in the van next to him? Strange, isn't it? Some things just don't add up

i guarantee you mike spent his first day of kindergarten crying when he got home because he told his mom he met the prettiest person he had even seen and that he was gonna marry them and when karen asked “what’s her name?” and mike said “his name is will!” mike starting sobbing immediately and did not stop after his mom tried to tell him boys can’t marry other boys

Because they’re going to live.

I saw a lot of edits, drawings where Mike was in a band, singing and playing on the guitar. So I had to draw them, as they are together, have some alone time. Mike singing Will's favorite songs just for him! And Will is always so blushy and giggling, so in love with Mike.

Remember that if you dislike Will Byers you’re basically disagreeing with every st character
