I know the obvious assumption would be that Diego learned Spanish as a kid because they all learned like a billion languages but I think it would be cool if he decided to learn it after he left home

#entire spin off show that's just late teens Diego leaving home and trying to connect a little with his heritage #would also explain why he doesn't speak it as often as say Klaus goes off into different languages and stuff like maybe he's not fluent yet #idk man I just like the idea of him going off on his own and meeting other Latinos and becoming his own person yk #he was oddly unphased by the mom reveal in s3 like maybe he already knew who his birth mom was #maybe she died in the og timeline some time before Diego could track her down and he'd already grieved the family he never knew and that's #why her death in the new timeline didn't really bother him idk I am THINKING about him lord help me #tua3
