White Lightning would make 100% the best most obnoxious villain for today because even in the 90s she used the internet to recruit minions to help her perform her heists.
In 2024 she would be one of the most beautiful girls you have ever seen, she has an active account on EVERY single social media site, she's been banned multiple times, she immediately gets back on with sub accounts, she's been hacked 4 times, she's got beef with someone who is 13 inches shorter than her, she's addicted to her phone, she's an anime character, White Lightning thinks they are each other's nemesis, Bart forgets about her the instant she's out of his hair, she's critiqued a lot but she's ACAB and livestreamed car jacking a patrol car.

I wish they didn't give White Lightning those weird mind control powers because up until the reveal them, which is many many issues away, it just makes her a more formidable and believable adversary. She didn't need to mentally manipulate anyone - she was just that bitch people wanted to side with.
And honestly, who doesn't want to make the cops look like fools?
