literally!!! say it louder!! like the de-realism of it all. the 'ENTERTAINMENT' of it all. It's entertainment>emotions always, and it's soo sick. Their relationship is strong still, which I love, but ever since that leak.. it's been overanalyzed and picked apart EXHAUSTINGLY!! Ppl are going back to any material they can find of the two together and just heaping BUCKETS of immaturity onto them. Talkin like 'oh see? This random dude with them made an expression THAT MEANS HE KNOWS AND HE H A T ES THEM. HE IS DISGUSTED.' and it's just SOOOO. UGH. ICK! UGH! i'd zay go find a hobby but being homophobic is literally their hobby. It's just so blatant and disgusting, and media is a GREAT tool for them to dish all that shit out without consequence. The way they can and DESIRE to constantly go back and pick apart the past just from the chance that it can spread even more hate is UGHHHH!!! i HATE it!!! Boundaries aren't SHIT anymore! Respect is trodden and relationships can get rotten AND NO ONE CARES!!!!!

It's a really good thing that jalen green's nature and upbringing as one of the hyped top picks has kind of steadied him through this. He doesn't turn off his comments (for what I know), he's BEEN getting painted nail comments and he just keeps painting them bcs who gives af? They're internet people. He's the People's people.. without even caring about the worser half of that lot. He doesn't care. But it's also kind of sad. But that's just how this world is

What im worried about mainly is gup like... gup's always been more attentive to any kind of hate or would-be hate he gets. Green's even noticed it bcs interacting with the haters (on an image level) is never a good thing. HE'S been forced to learn and get with that kinda practice bcs he's jalen green. He can't speak more as jalen green bcs. He's jalen green. He can only have the comforts of an allowed argument ..in the comforts of a fuckin burner account.

That's one thing I like about Kd, although he might not be a fav player of mine (I just personally don't rlly care for him but can understand why others do. He's very complex and way more interesting than the media tries to portray. I just kinda missed the kd era in bball and moved on, it's just a personal whatever) .. he stopped (for the most part of what we know) with the burners and uses his voice a lot. He's older, he doesn't gaf about not giving a fuck. He doesn't HAVE to , and he doesn't WANT to. He embraces being a hater and a speaker now. Unlike Jalen and Josh, he has more abilities AND experience.

Which is just so sad that alot of the things basketball players need to worry abt can be from off the court. And We're not talking being a role model or whatever, We're talking always having to watch your back ESPECIALLY when your work environment can get very quickly hostile as it is so often sold as hostility being a propelling marketing principle. Nobody can have fun anymore or be kids or a lot of things.

LIKE!!! gup can't defend himself well because he's not trained well enough as someone who's a lower pick so therefore less worry to the business. Bro is just a pawn they can trade away whenever shit gets rough. AND IT'S SO SAD THAT HE H A S TO EVEN GET TRAINING IN THE FIRST PLACE??? on how to WHAT?? Feel less? IT'S SOO. UGHHHHHH!!

When gup posted that picture of him and a woman (with like long pink pedicure nails) holding his face where he was tryin to make it look chill even tho it was very obvious on how hard he was trying to show how that hand holding his face was very obviously a woman's hand and not a man's ... as a 'response' to that video....... like. I saw it n i didn't even screenshot. And yall KNOW me, i love taking photos of things i find funny n sharing it with yall! BUT JUST YALL. YALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. not to THE PERSON, not blasting smthin that could be embarrassing all over the media. There's BOUNDARIES to shit, even the smallest shit! But what i meant with this is.. u know. Usually i enjoy kinda embarrassing moves. But this? This was just str8 up Sad. Like. That was all he could even do to try and defend himself, his friendships, his LIFEstyle. That was the only power he had was some miserably pr picture without pr in a sad attempt at personal protection.

And of course, the rest of the internet thought it was the funniest shit ever and blew that boundary up. Bcs they don't gaf and the best (perhaps only) thing these young guys can do is try and not gaf either AND THAT IS SO FUCKIN SAD!!! LIKE! THAT'S JUST SAD. I get sadness can be entertainment, yeah... FICTIONAL sadness, i can SEE. an ARTFUL, blossoming yet still Respecting some boundaries while exploring others, FICTIONAL (saying this AGAIN) sadness can be quality entertainment. Quality as in ure not an absolute shithead for sharing it if you still respect it.

BUT THIS SHIT IS REALLL! AND IT'S NOT GETTING RESPECTED. A REAL THING THAT ACTUALLY REQUIRES THAT RATHER THAN A FICTIONAL THING BCS RESPECT IS AND SHOULD BE REAL but it's just NOT so much anymore and UGHHHH!!!!

Their friendship is REAL! Omg im so mf funny. So my gfs phone lit up last night when i was getting up to go potty after us just having like the best sex I've ever had and her already having passed out afterwards.. and this phone that lit up said.. "hey baby... blah blah blah"

So NATURALLY ima pick up the phone and see who is saying this right.. well when i picked the phone up the message saying this wasn't on the notifications anymore. 😐 so me starting to rly feel some type of way proceeds forward in the snoopy sesh thru baes phone tryna uncover this person 'hey baby'ing' my girl.

All out on camera and all. Plus i was still naked 😂💀 i did not gaf how crazy i looked.

Oh uh uh.

So during my little investigation adventures i realized that MY GIRLFRIEND IS NOT THE PERFECT LITTLE ANGEL I THOUGHT SHE WAS.

I just had this image of her in my head of being God-Like and blemish free. Especially when it comes to personal matters i guess. But what did i learn. NOBODY IS TRULY PERFECT AFTER ALL. Bc while shes here rn bothered by me telling her a lie #1 (me saying that i was in love with her b4 i actually was), by me telling other ppl the same lovey stuff i was telling her while i was locked up #2.... she also was being all extra friendly wit other ppl and in a whole 'relationship' or w/e wit someone else, telling grls she wanna see them and good morning texts and inviting them over to netflix and blah blah whatever.. WHILE I WAS IN FL WITH HER.

And ya wanna know what else ive realized?

I dont care that she's imperfect, i love her anyways and i just am going to trust that we not be like that to each other anymore. I'm not saying what she did is worse than what i did either.. just had to put that out there.

Anyways so now not only did she wake up without me, she came looking for her phone.

She's acting all weird and being distant and quiet.

I feel wrong 4 just tryna act like nothing happened and i didnt just do what i did and see what i seen.. lmao this is so typical. I couldn't even help it, my inner most crazy got the best of me when i seen that hey baby whatever it said. I had to know what the fuck. Im not even mad tho, not yet anyways... i mean ill be mad if she dont stop tryna act like she didnt do the same thing shes upset that i did.

Lol. But rly tho, its not cool but i mean its cool. I fucked up, she fucked up. I have genuine, real feelings for her unlike before.. and ive fallen in love with her, experiencing a type of love I've never felt before. I'm not trying to sabotage our bond we have together what so ever, over nothing. I feel like our feelings for each other are mutual so i can trust that the funny business wont be a thing from here on out. Leaving me not to worry but to be excited abt having her and the Universe working its magic like it did..

I'm not the same person i was 2 years ago by any means. Im like complete polar opposite of where i was then actually. And for the first time i actually WANT to have a future with another human being period.

I rly hope we can not lose all of our trust over the things we did before we rly had a chance at being together and fully experiencing one another. I also hope this isn't gonna be an on going issue or source of sorrow either.

Ugh.. ok im done 4 now...

why do you ship steroline and klaroline (not why you ship both, but your reasons for shipping each)

I do actually ship them for similar reasons tbqh lol. I think both ships have great chemistry and both ships add to Caroline’s overall story in their own way.

Let’s start at the beginning of her story, because it’s relevant to seeing the impact of both Klaroline and Steroline. In the pilot, Caroline’s main purpose was to get REJECTED by Stefan, to be the one who never measures up. Following this we see her get abused by Damon, be a point of comparison for when he tells Elena “I wanted it to be real with YOU.” In many ways, her main purpose was to be a prop that makes Elena POP. Even when she and Matt got together, her Elena-related insecurity was a heavy feature in the relationship.

Then she got turned into a vampire and all of her shippy storylines started to revolve around her vampirism in some way. As a result, her storylines became more about HER rather than Elena. However, you cannot deny that she was still firmly a secondary character, who got a secondary character love interest in Tyler.

Enter Klaus. Let’s take a good look at Klaus. He’s a main antagonist within the verse, firmly tied to the core mythology as an Original Vampire, and is incredibly powerful. As far as juicy love interests go, he’s a huuuuge catch. I don’t mean in that he treats people great, obviously, but I would say that doesn’t matter when it comes to desirability if you look at which men get shipped and with which intensity in any given fandom.

Klaus explicitly showing interest in CAROLINE was a massive shake up regarding what people expected from him or the verse. I remember those times in fandom very clearly, because at the time I was confused by it. As far as I was concerned Klaroline had sizzling chemistry and the hook of Klaus ~showing Caroline how great vampirism was and how it opens up the world for her was positively intoxicating. Yet people seemed confused? The very fact that someone like Klaus should even NOTICE Caroline, let alone be interested in her, seemed completely illogical and implausible to large parts of fandom. Back then I didn’t understand that this was because Caroline had reached out of her “designated tier”. Klaus was far too important and powerful for a female character that had started out as a prop girl. Comparatively people were far more open to the possibility that Klaus would be hung up on Elena’s Petrova Doppelgänger face, or even obsessed with his sister (who was only a recurring character but ~Vampire Royalty~ as an Original).

You see, status matters. It matters to fandom and it matters to the writers, because it kept opening more doors for Caroline as a character and as a love interest. People say Caroline started being “just a love interest”, but I would argue that for female characters it is almost impossible to separate the two. Look at Elena. Arguably, the main story was ABOUT her being ~a love interest. People see and feel her as a well-rounded character in the first 3 seasons, when she had THE MOST high-cachet love interests (Stefan, Damon, Elijah, you might argue Matt as well) and they complain about Elena being reduced to a “mere love interest” as that number shrunk and she was eventually only left with Damon. A little more on that later.

You could literally SEE the effect Klaus’ interest had on Caroline’s position on the show. Here’s what Carina Mackenzie said about Caroline’s style and dress in 3x14:

Because there’s this unspoken rule that the main female character and/or the most desirable female character gets to have the prettiest dresses. It’s not something fandom doesn’t realize on some level either because there were multiple instances where Rebekah stans complained about this, both re: 3x14 and 4x19.

wanna start off by saying 60% of this show is just nepotism hires 😭 most of carina's friends/ppl that have worked for julie are on roswell nm. anyways, rosa and isobel for sure! both wonderfully complex ladies and def my favorite characters along with maria and kyle. kyle is exactly who I envisioned tyler lockwood could've turned out to be if he had actually stayed away from mf. I also love liz to pieces but the show clearly doesn't even though she's the literal lead 😔 (1/2)

I understand re: max LMAO his character isn't anything special (pretty sure nathan and carina once dated lol) personally don't care about michael or alex anymore unless it comes to certain dynamics of theirs (ie: alex/kyle, michael/isobel) but I sense that one of them could possibly be the character you're referring to? they're definitely interesting, but their fans have been so nasty towards maria since s2 so I don't bother with their characters anymore. also tyler b pulled a floriana lol

wait ignore that part where I said I thought you were referring to a specific character because I misread your reply and didn't realize you were talking about kyle 😭 he definitely holds the rest of the characters together, less so in s1 because he doesn't get included into the inner circle until s2, but the new showrunner for s3 has written some of my favorite kyle stuff and says s3 is big for his character, it definitely shows in the material so far. carina just pretended to gaf about him lol
