i have to say... i think the mta is moving in the right direction with this (relatively) new winter weather service map... its certainly more readable than some of the other new map designs theyve piloted recently though i do think the lack of geographical references in some areas is a problem. also why did they have to put the little walking guy in a hat and cape (????) like ok cute but it took me like 5 mins to figure out what it was lol

honestly it's mildly annoying to see so many fanons about how ostentatiously lan wangji dresses. it feels deeply ooc for a character that comes from a sect that has such ascetic roots and who is constantly described as wearing mourning clothes to be dressed in incredibly showy clothing in white and blue for some reason.

Would his robes be made of very high quality cloth, absolutely, would they be very clean and well put together, absolutely. Would he have many layers, yes, because of modesty and propriety, not fashion.

ppl can dress him as they like and envision him doing whatever obviously, but it's just such a disconnect when reading canon based fics to read about such a sober man in the equivalent of jin clothing without the gold colouring. he's a beautiful man. one of the most beautiful in the sects, he doesn't quite need the sartorial help.

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
