The world needs more Yue and Zuko friendship, I squeal just thinking abt the parallels. They deserve a life changing field trip together and if u have abt ideas I’m all ears 👀
Hiii anon this ask fermented in my inbox and in my brain for so long,, so take this??? Post canon yue lives/no war au arts?? Anyway aside from the Parallels and their political position & their duty before hoes grindset I think they could learn a lot from each other. With zuko learning the gift of patience & diplomacy from yue & Yue learning that allowing yourself to feel anger and speaking up can actually be Good.
anyway hypothetical life changing trip outcome: zuko takes an intro gender studies class and yue says fuck
(oh and also must not forget the crush on sokka)

Daredevil #266, Writer Ann Nocenti
I love this scene. Matt's really been through the wringer at this point (he nearly died, Karen left him, Mephisto fucked shit up) and, once again, the citizens of Hell's Kitchen come in to help pick him up when he's down.
I loved Nocenti's consistency in showing that Hell's Kitchen cared about Matt just as much as Matt cared about them. I've always found it so unnecessary when writers want to go out of their way to make it seem like Hell's Kitchen doesn't like Daredevil or what he does, especially when he's been around as long as he has.

Hey so. What did he mean by this.
[Image ID: A set of screenshots from the game Dialtown that show a conversation with God/The Local Hobo. God is depicted as a white man wearing an unbuttoned white shirt and loose black pants tied with a black and white striped belt. Instead of a human head, he has a beige tv displaying a picture of a fluffy white dog holding a waffle in its mouth. Instead of the normal city backdrop, the background has gone dark, leaving only God's sprites and the dialogue visible.
The dialogue reads:
"I didn't say any of this yesterday, and maybe this is just the rum talking, but I want you to know that I see you."
"The others might not, but I do."
"...I see you."
For the last line of dialogue, the two options given for the player to respond with are "...Huh?" and "...Thank you?" /.End ID]

Hi 💛 I wanted to ask you something, it's been bothering me lately: I've always known that I'm attracted to people regardless of gender. At 15 I called it bisexual. At 17 I started using the label pansexual. Came out as a trans man at 23. I'm now 26 and I'm not sure if bi or pan work for me anymore. I know that I'm still attracted to people regardless of gender, but my experiences as a man in society have made the label gay resonate a lot more with me. Is that okay? What does this mean? Confused
It means whatever you want it to mean. People all across the queer community have used "gay" as shorthand for decades now (maybe including queer people you love). If you just don't vibe with bi/pan on their own, then you don't have to have them on their own. There's nothing wrong with being bi or pan, but there's also nothing wrong with feeling like that doesn't quite encapsulate your relationship with your queerness.
Basically:

What's the purpose of people putting screenshots of posts on here through a water filter? I think I had seen a meme on here of someone joking that they were putting people who replied to them underwater but now I keep seeing that filter used in completely serious political/etc posts screenshotting someone they disagree with and there's no explanation why. Are they like trying to fool text-detection algorithms to prevent the person they screenshotted from reverse image searching and finding their response? That seems like such a niche issue though and I don't understand why so many people would be adding visual strain to their images and making posts less accessible to screenreaders just for that
