wilson tries the entire episode (8x02) to hate house, wilson's patient talks negatively about her ex boyfriend and how he was a bad influence.

wilson gets advice from house to stop accepting the patient's wishes to die - to try harder - by doing something no normal doctor would: he calls her ex boyfriend who enables her alcoholism, who convinces her to do the painful but life extending treatment, and she gets back together with her ex boyfriend, so she's alive but back in a relationship that might ultimately be bad for her.

then wilson allows house back into his life so they can continue to be each other's enablers and bad influences, feeling alive again.... but also back in a relationship that might ultimately be bad for him 🫠

I adore how toxic Mandatory Family Reunion emerald duo is. They're both completely incapable of objectively viewing the situation through their respective delusions (catastrophizing vs severe denial). Techno manipulates Philza for months. Philza traumatizes Techno to the point he's a shell of the man he once was. They both have entirely warped concepts of love. Each's entire life revolves around the other. They're so wonderfully dysfunctional that by the time Techno tells Philza he loves him it's one of the most devastating scenes in the fic.

why the fuck did i write about birds this fucking sucks. i just found out birds only sleep for a few minutes at a time, hundreds of times a day. do you know what this is going to do to my structure? the logistics of their road trip? this is already like three days late and i've been fighting for my life to get A Plot Like Any Plot That Makes Sense out and now the birds fucking sleep for 5 minutes at a time.

my platonic relationships tags rn (ten/donna, miller/hardy, crona/maka, percy/keyleth, yasha/molly) are for the ones i specifically interpret as qprs but i am also severely tempted to go back and start up a ten and martha tag bc a) i'm kind of obsessed w them and b) the version of them that exists as toxic doomed qpps outside canon in my head is really really really funny even if there is exactly nobody that will understand this vision (and they should not, because this vision is completely deranged)
