Me watching hamilton videorecording for the first time, after listening to the soundtrack on repeat for weeks:
Tumblr media
Oh, Eliza brings a letter to Hamilton in the end of act I. This wasn't in the soundtrack. It's about Laurens. I wonder what it says...:

listen to this when you're:
falling in love
running through an open field
going on a morning walk
in a car on the highway
being alone but not lonely
mentally in the 50s in New Orleans
getting ready for a night out
sitting with a friend near a lake
crying alone in your bedroom
heartbroken
winding down after a long day
going to college
partying in your bedroom at 1 am
going to a museum
missing the boyband era

Me: Vibing with a movie adaptation I'm watching purely because it is inaccurate and barely recognizable from the plot of the books.
Movie: Slams the exact same ending as the books into the last part.
Me: "wtf? What was the point of setting up this whole world and plot like a fan fiction if you're just going to cram in the tragic ending? At least commit to the bit."

Game to play as an android that can be played alone or with a company of other androids.
Requirements: one working TV with as many channels as possible
The goal of the game is to recreate given sentence as close as possible in its meaning using TV and what's currently playing by switching channels at appropriate times. Kinda like charades but not really.
So let's say there are 200 different channels, on about 150 of them is prerecorded material like movies, series, ads, music videos, etc. For those channels it is possible to first find their program to figure out what's playing and then look for the transcript of that specific show/movie/whatever and from those dozens of transcripts running in parallel look for what phrases and words are suitable for that specific sentence you were given. Now your goal is just to switch channels at appropriate time to play it. Additional points if you can integrate phrases and sentences from those channels that are running live.
Androids can play in teams against other teams by synching their effort to be more precise and to achieve better results.
Switching to empty channels for pauses between sentences and phrases is allowed, but considered a newbie move.

Weeirdly specific AVPD symptoms vol. 4
((I’m back bitches, and I’m finally getting a psych eval))
- You feel like a neon sign, a giant, everywhere you go
- You overcompensate with kindness, especially if you’re convinced someone doesn’t like you -  you’ll bribe them with kindness until they’re nice to you
- You arrive on time when meeting up w/ someone and they’re not there? You panic and blame yourself, you double triple check that the time is right, until you realize the other person is late
- You might be adventurous and curious to try new things and hobbies, but only on your own in your own room where there’s no risk anyone sees anything
- Sucking up to authority figures, to feel appreciated when you follow every rule and behave well
- Airport security terrifies you, because you can’t manipulate or make them like you, which hurts, even if they’re strangers
- Rejection makes you want to implode on the spot
- Day dreaming about your own funeral :)

Do you ever see a piece of niche discourse that you'd like to have a say in, but it's so specific you really don't feel like you've got the background necessary to have any legit input, so you just keep scrolling? Like, I'm sorry I'm not a French glass artist who served time in prison in 2013 for vehicular manslaughter, a pansexual Star Trek fandom veteran with a hyperfixation on motorcycle repair, or a teenager from California who worked a summer job at an amusement park that closed down last year after a tragic, well-hidden accident.

If I got a dollar for . . . #3
If I got a dollar for every time I wrote an 11-chapter story with Dhar Mann characters that I thought were being neglected and weren't living up to their full potential, I would have two dollars. It's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Guess who just spent 40 minutes researching tarantula eye patterns. Found this photo & then tried to figure out if all tarantulas have the same eye patterns.
Tumblr media
Source: Tarantula Keeper's Guide, published by Barron's in 2009
The internet wasn't very helpful or I was terrible with my keywords today. One of the two. 😬 I'm just hoping that B. Emilia and B. Hamorii have the same pattern, sooo I'm copying the one from the book.
If anyone knows for sure, let me know!

Good morning to everyone except for:
People who say they want their coffee black but then say "two sugars".
People who put milk first then cereal
People who scrape their fork on the plate when they cut their steak
People who eat their eggs with ketchup
People who say towards instead of toward
People who take a shower in the mornings
People who don't wet their toothbrush first then toothpaste then wet it again
People who respond with the price when they get a compliment on their stuff like "nice shoes", "thanks, they were $5!!:
People who remove whipped cream from their milkshakes at Steak and Shake
People who always have three or more orders in the drive thru
People who suggest "they might be hungry" to new mothers after they just fed their very angy baby
People who think a c-section is the easy way out
People who have an assortment of teas (chamomile, earl gray, green, etc)—extra snarkiness to those who have an actual container to sort them out
People who put their pantry items in alphabetical order
People who don't have a bag full of bags
People who go out of their way to correct others on whether it's who or whom to unsuspecting prey
People who use smoke vapes with no nicotine
People who like Big Red
People who would rather want jelly instead of jam
People who eat steak without A1 sauce
People who pronounce Worcestershire sauce as Worsh-Ster-Sure Sauce

Orthodox Judaism equivalent of ‘if you’re asking a question in English on the internet, you must be American’ is assuming you are specifically from the Five Towns
I'm not sure why you sent this to me in particular, Nony, but ... gotta say I don't think you're wrong
