Plan B
CW: guns/ gunshots
Villain could barely feel their legs as they sprinted after the hero, hiding behind the building and barely avoiding being shot by one of supervillains minions. "Your plan B is running away!?"
Hero glanced behind their shoulder, giving Villain a slightly confused and apologetic look. "What plan B?"
Villain would have frozen in place if they didn't got almost shot in the leg at that moment. "You don't even have a- You thought you could just walk into supervillains lair without anything going wrong?," they yelled, ducking behind a corner and taking out their gun.
Hero hid opposite them behind a doorframe, channeling their ice powers and starting to freeze the ground. "Unlike you, I don't overthink every single step I take!"
Villain heard some confused yells grom the minions, peeking out from behind the corner and shooting. Between gunshots they yelled "What do you mean overthink!? I don't do that, I just don't want to die!"
"You're doing a terrible job then." Hero walked over casually just as villain got up, turning their eyes away from the scene in the hallway.
"You dragged me into this." They put their gun back.
The hero only chuckled. "No, I came here alone. You decided to follow me."
"Because I knew you wouldn't be able to handle this on your own. Taking on Supervillain is just crazy!" The criminal turned around, making their way to the entrance. "Next time, at least have an escape route."
"Sure sure," Hero said as they cought up. "Whatever you say."
