[finale spoilers!]

so, like, uh... am I the only one who didn’t like the twist that Webby was April + a clone + Scrooge’s clone? like,,, I find it so dumb (it was good in execution!! it’s just,,, it doesn’t sit right with me) the whole thing regarding Webby messed with my experience,, and,,, wasn’t this supposed to be, like, Huey’s season? I get getting canceled and all that but... idk I didn’t leave this finale feeling the way I know I should’ve. The way I feel about it is unclear and I’m not sure what to think of it. My excitement into this was the same for the Gravity Falls ending- one I was absolutely hyped for and left feeling happy and completed. This just kind of... fell flat. And maybe that was because I put too high of expectations? The trailers really got me hyped (Webby tearfully hugging Beakley and Huey running into Dewey and Louie’s arms) and the actual scenes just... weren’t it. Webby being the one to find the paper? I didn’t really like that either. Scrooge said the rightful heir (I’m pretty sure anyway I literally watched this episodes hours ago) and to me, Webby just isn’t that (also Webby calling Scrooge dad really put me off). The show is about family. It also shows found family. Webby and Beakley were found family. They were honorary members. This finale kind of throws that away; “she was related to Scrooge the whole time!” I saw a post saying that April could’ve been her own character; locked in one of those cells and being a failed experiment. That could’ve worked! I honestly would’ve liked that more. That aside though, the action scenes were amazing! Launchpad getting the gizmo suit was top tier and the twist the Manny was a gargoyle was great. ALSO!! Bradford turning out to be the one who told Della about the spear? And then cutting the funding for it?? In this fandom, we hate one (1) character and his name is Bradford Buzzard. Della and Donald having that fight and stuff because Donald wants to leave was great too. I wish we saw more of their interactions. Lowkey also wished we got more triplets. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we got backstory on Webby but I still feel like we didn’t get enough Huey. I will say, I was expecting/hoping for something like Louie and Dewey got kidnapped/sucked into the machine from Let’s Get Dangerous! (the scene where Huey walks into a destroyed room looking kind of dejected) and eventually reunites with them (running into their arms, tearful). It could’ve put a bit more growth in Huey’s character since he loves being a triplet and as the eldest, prides himself on taking care of his brothers. With them gone (possibly forever), he has to adapt and stay as calm as he can. The B plot would revolve around Webby, May, and June (that way you could get both characters some closure and a story that tests their wits). Anyway those were my thoughts about the finale,, I might write something where I rewrite the finale,,, idk maybe I’m just an over dramatic crybaby lol edit: I’m totally gonna write that KSKSJKSKS

The McDuck/Duck Family and associates have been finding their new normal since Della's been home and, for once, things are going smoothly. Sibling shenanigans abound. They're prepared for the drama and danger of any adventure.

What they were not prepared for was for tragedy to strike on a random Tuesday in an insultingly mundane fashion. With Della's life hanging in the balance, everyone is a mess. But Ducks don't back down...and nothing can stop Della Duck. Then things really get interesting, because nothing can ever be simple with this family.

Chapter 17 is (finally) up!

Perfectly Perfect: Prologue (Self-insert fic)

Title: Perfectly Perfect

Rating: General for the time being. Maybe Teen and up later for possible swearing(Most likely) and sexy times(I doubt it though) but for now it’s G.

Relationship: Steelbeak x Self Insert Lexi

Genre: Family/Friendship and eventually Angst and Hurt/Comfort

Chapter Summary: Just a bit of backstory for my oc. Steelbeak will appear in chapter 1.

Other: This takes place shortly after the Double O Duck episode and in the year 2019. So the kids are 12 years old. Launchpad should be about 32 years old. I know Steelbeak is in his 20s but I’m going to bump him to be LP’s age. 5 year age difference(roughly) is a lot better to me than like 10 years. Since I think Donald and Della are about 36 or 37 now and she’s the same age as them.

Author’s Note: 

Here’s the other dumb idea I came up with when I was suffering from insomnia the other night. 

I was going to make her a bird but stuck with dog since the main family is all ducks and Duckworth is the only canine honorary family member/friend that I can think of. 

Also the title was between Perfectly Perfect and Lucky One both by Simple Plan. After listening to both several times on loop, I felt PP was the better choice. So there’s a fun fact.

Prologue(You’re here!) - Next Chapter 

During the summer and after her 6th Birthday, Lexi Lulu, a Dognose, moved from Ohio to Duckburg, Calisota.

Her and her family were fully moved in by the time she started Kindergarten at an expensive private school.

Lexi was always super shy and likely has social anxiety. But she still had friends back in Ohio. So having to make new friends at a new school that she never went to before was making her anxious.

To make things worse, she had to do speech classes due to her speech impairment. And as such, would leave during one of her classes every week to meet with the speech teacher. Usually it was during something fun like Gym or Art Class. But it was only once a week.

It was still the first week of school when a duckling named Della came up to her to see if she wanted to play. As the girls walked over to the little kitchen area, they introduced themselves.

“My name’s Della Duck!” Della said. “You weren’t in my preschool class, right? Or were you in the other one?”

“I’m Lexi. And no. I moved here during the summer.” Lexi replied.

“Oh cool! You’ll like Duckburg!” Della grinned.

As the two continued to talk and play, Della couldn’t help but notice something familiar to her.

“Hey do you do speech classes or something?” Della asked.

“Not yet. I think I’m suppose to start next week.” Lexi said.

“Okay. Maybe you’ll have that with my twin brother! He has a speech problem too. But you talk better than him. He’s in the other Kindergarten class though. I don’t know why they split us up both this year and last year.”

“I don’t know either. Does he have lunch at the same time as us?” Lexi decided to ask.

“Uh huh! You can eat with us and I’ll introduce you to him. You already have something in common!” Della nodded.  

Later at lunch, Lexi and Donald met and instantly hit it off. As they expected, they had the same speech class together too. It made them both feel better that someone else had a similar problem and insecurity.

The years went by and they continued to remain best friends. She was actually at their Uncle Scrooge’s mansion so often that he took to calling her his niece too and allowed her to call him uncle.

When they were teens, she started going on all kinds of adventures with the three of them.

Donald started college about a year or two after high school and met Panchito and Jose. But Lexi and Della chose to keep going on adventures instead of college for a while. Scrooge decided to let Lexi move into one of the rooms in the mansion since she was going on adventures so often.

At one point, Lexi was in a relationship with Jose, but they mutually broke it off when they knew they couldn’t move permanently from their respective countries. So he moved back to Brazil sometime later.

A few years later when she, Donald, and Della were about 25, Lexi decided to go to college and take a break from adventuring. During that time, Donald had joined the Navy and even started going on adventures again while Panchito returned to Mexico.

The summer after her first year, Lexi’s niece was born. Months later in the following year, Della had three eggs. 

Fortunately, nothing happened to her brother or sister-in-law. Yet she was always watching her niece when they needed her to. Della took to helping more often when she found out about her own kids.

But when Della went missing after going into space, Lexi quit college.

The Ducks and McDucks had become like another family to her. With Della gone, Lexi knew Donald would need help raising the boys.

She tried to talk to Scrooge for months but he gave her the silent treatment. Or started yelling and threatening her. Simply misplacing his anger for what happened and taking it out on Lexi, especially after Donald took the boys and went no-contact.

Duckworth helped her move in with Donald for the time being since she was no longer welcomed to the mansion. But it made it easier to help Donald out while being under one roof.

As the kids grew up, she started being called Aunt Lexi by them. It started when her niece, Hailey, was over to play and called her it to get her attention. The boys asked if they could do the same since she was helping raise them and was basically their aunt despite not being related by blood or through marriage. Of course, they were fine with this. Lexi even saw them as her nephews too.

When the boys were about 5 or 6 and going to school, Lexi felt it was time to move out since the house boat was getting smaller as they grew older and bigger.

Lexi found a house nearby and began working from home so she watched the kids after school at her place since Donald, her brother, and sister-in-law worked until 5 or 6 PM.  

They were still mourning Della and Lexi was still upset at how her friendship with Scrooge ended. But overall, everything was fine now.

At one point, they noticed the boys introduce Hailey as their ‘cousin’ just like how Donald and Della did with her. So knowing the kids were getting along great was enough to make them happy.

Sure there were fights, but nothing more than the usual sibling or other relatives fights.

That said, they struggled with money since even though they weren’t living together, she was still paying Donald child support to help out. After all, she lived with herself and her turtle. That was barely two mouths to feed compared to his four. And Donald struggled with keeping jobs.

When the kids were 10 years old, Lexi had gone out of town to visit family back in Ohio with her parents and her brother’s family. So Donald needed a babysitter since she wasn’t home at the time. His only option? The uncle they haven’t spoken to in 10 years.

She was surprised when she returned home and found out that they had reconnected and Scrooge allowed them to move in with him. Especially after the house boat blew up.

Lexi went to visit one day when she was off work and her and Scrooge had a talk that they both knew needed to happen. He apologized for taking his anger out on her all those years ago. And even offered her old room to her so she can officially join the family again.

She gladly took it and moved in shortly after Donald and the boys did.

Soon, she discovered that she would quickly gain another niece that year in Webby. The following year after Lena was brought back, she started considering her as another niece too.

It was now 2019 and about a month or two after the Moonvasion happened. The aliens that stayed on Earth are living peacefully now.

After finding out she quit college to help raise her boys, Della more or less forced her to go back to school despite being in her mid-30s now.

So here she was at the library. Hailey, Huey, and Violet joined her since they made their own little book club. So while they looked for a new book to read and sat at a different table in her line of sight, she sat at a computer to do her homework.

Miscarriage

This story is base on my aunt miscarriage back then, I ask her if it okay if I wrote a story based on her miscarriage and of course, I got her permission. And I make sure I got everything detail from my aunt miscarriage in the story.

The Caballeros had been happily married for 3 years now. They had been a couple about four years and Panchito and Jose had proposed to him a week later.

It was all very sweet actually. They both - as well as the entire city of Duckburg - had learned that they were madly in Love and Panchito and Jose had stayed up one night watching 'When Harry Met Sally' with Donald and the line "I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible" spoke to him. At the end of the movie, the rooster had picked up a sleeping duck and tucked him in, while they sent a text to the Donald nephew about meeting them for lunch the next day. Within two days, Daisy Duck, and Minnie Mouse had helped them plan the proposal and of course Donald said yes.

Donald was nervous. He didn't know how he felt about this or how his two caballeros would feel about this. He had missed his second period and after buying 3 pregnancy tests from the convenience store, he had tried all of them (just to be sure). Since he was transgender Man, he was able to get pregnant and have a baby. Donald was sitting on the toilet with all three of the pregnancy tests in front of him and all of them saying the same thing: he was pregnant.

"Donald, are you ready to tell us what's going on in that beautiful head of yours?" Jose asked, sitting in front of Donald while they both dined in their home.

"What?" Donald asked, his hands twitching.

"Open book, mi amor. What's bothering you?" Panchito asked, sliding his hand to hold onto the duck hands.

Donald sighed. This was it. There was no running away.

"I have missed two periods" Donald said and looked down, hoping for the rooster and the green bird to use their excellent deductible skills. But much to his dismay he just raised his eyebrows quizzically.

"Oh god, I'm pregnant you idiots!" Donald confessed.

Panchito and Jose both let go of his hand and Donald's heart dropped. They doesn't want this he thought.

He looked up at them and saw their eyes crinkling as their entire face broke into a huge grin. Panchito walked up to Donald and picked him up, crushing the duck against him.

"Oh sorry mi amor" he realized and put him down.

"You're happy?" Donald asked, a hint of surprise in her voice.

"Of course! This is the best news you have ever given to me! Aren't you happy?" he asked, a goofy smile still plastered on his face.

"I'm happy" Donald replied and kissed him. He was. All his doubts about this child had left him the instant he saw their face break into a grin.

Donald Duck had never thought that he would ever have any babies. But again, he had never thought that he would have a rooster and the bird for a husband’s. But right here in this moment, with Jose and Panchito standing beside him, their arms circling their waist and their fingers drawing small circles on his white feather belly, everything felt right.

The three caballeros were excited. They had yet told the good news to anyone in their family. about his pregnancy. They’re excited and overjoyed and they can’t wait to meet a new member of the family. Donald couldn’t be happy to meet his precious baby boy or girl.

Donald had experienced some bleeding the night before (but of course it was nothing as they both said to each other). They were waiting in a hospital room for Dr. Leopard for their first ultrasound. Donald had imagined this scene in her head almost a million times since the time she had told them that he was pregnant. They all were gonna gasp as soon as Dr. Leopard pointed to a little spot on the screen and Panchito and Jose would probably cry being the dramatic queen they are.

“There your baby.” Dr. Leopard point his figure on the screen. The caballeros couldn’t be more happier. A figure that shape like a baby was in Donald belly. “Let listen a heartbeat shall we?” Dr. Leopard press the button and they suddenly hear the baby heartbeat. “There your baby! Congratulations you three, It a girl.” The doctor's smile at the three caballeros. Donald saw that his two caballeros eyes were watery as well in happiness. They had wanted this baby just as much Donald had. It a girl, they are having a girl. Their precious baby girl.

It was the middle of the night, and Donald woke up in a sweat. Something didn't feel right to him, but he couldn't put his finger on what it was. Something with his stomach. Maybe he had a stomach ache or something.

I'll just get a glass of water or something. Donald thought as he stumbled out of bed, and turned the light on. She looked down at the sheets, and saw just what was happening.

He was bleeding.

What? He thought in shock. But that can't happen. I'm pregnant. Unless… Oh, God!

"Guys!" Donald screamed at the top of his lungs. His two husbands suddenly woke up from his scream. Donald paled, feeling all the blood rush out of his face with horror.

Donald had started to shake ever so slightly that no one would notice except his two husbands. Panchito and Jose followed Donald's gaze to the soaked blood sheets, and they very nearly had a heart attack. Donald was having a miscarriage. Right now. Panchito and Jose ran to him, trying to get him to move.

Donald didn't notice his husband panic, because he couldn't. Donald had no idea what to do, how to move, anything. All he could think about was the fact that he was bleeding, and their baby girl were probably dying. But it made it worse to think about it and be paralyzed, he concluded. Ignorance is bliss. Donald just blinked, feeling a tear slip from his face. He thought about the fact that now she would never hold his baby daughter, never hear her cry or say her first words. They will never see her walk. The cribs on their baby girl room would be empty.

Suddenly, Donald was carrying, by Panchito out of the house, into the car. There was no sense of time for Donald. Time was replaced by the sensation of movement, the sound of the car’s tires squealing, and light. The car stopped, and Jose opened Donald's door. Donald stumbled out, trying to start to help himself. He had to help himself get help if he was going to save their baby girl. And that's what the fathers did, they put their children first.

The illuminated emergency room was such a severe contrast to the dark night outside that Donald would've shaded his eyes. But he needed the light almost blinding her to bring his back just the slightest bit. He looked at the receptionist, and there wasn't time for words. Two nurses grabbed Donald and asked his husbands what was wrong. They began telling him what happen and what wrong to their Donald.

Donald was later put in the room and wearing the hospital nightgown. His two husbands stood beside him and holding his hand. Dr. Leopard came in, and he tell the nurse to get the equipment set. Donald couldn’t believe what happening right now. Dr. Leopard induces labor and delivers the baby. He gives him to the Caballero, who take her into their arms.

Moments later, a priest has joined them to baptize the baby while Dr. Leopard stays with them. Donald, Panchito and Jose are still holding their baby girl. Donald feels that she squeezed his finger, and then he let go.

It had been three weeks now since Donald had the miscarriage. The first week had been horrible - Donald hadn't even wanted to leave the bed. Panchito and Jose had been very supportive - just holding him whenever they felt he needed it. Sometimes though they were the one who needed the holding; it was their baby too. Once Donald refused to eat, Donald began blaming himself and his horrible bad luck.

Donald bit his lip, blinking back the tears. He needed them, needed to feel their embrace, he reached out and them pulled him onto their lap, wrapping their arms around him as Donald tucked his head in his neck and began to sob.

"I'm so sorry you guys, it's all my fault, I lost our baby because of my bad luck!" Donald broke down.

"Shhh, it's not your fault, mi amor, you can't blame yourself for this! I certainly don't blame you and your bad luck," Panchito and Jose both kissed his white feather hair whispering.

They brought the boys home from McDuck's house and had smiled in relief as they saw their Donald smile for the first time since the miscarriage as their nephews recited them a story that happened at their adventure with Scrooge McDuck.

They were at the store, shopping for Webby's upcoming birthday. Donald was looking for clothes for his honorary niece while Panchito and Jose was at a toys area, searching for new toys for Webby. Donalds gaze landed on the baby clothes section and he found himself in the baby aisle - surrounded by baby clothes, cribs, bottles, and all the possible things a baby and new parents could need. Donald felt tears form in her eyes, and he left the aisle, rushing towards the toys section. Halfway through the store she saw Panchito and Jose who came rushing to him the second they saw him distraught face. They cupped his cheek lightly.

"I went into the baby aisle" Donald said and they crushed themselves onto him. They held each other for a long time, both mourning the loss of their unborn child.

"Enough," Jose said. "We can't do this anymore Donald. We can't mourn her forever. We need to move on"

Donald nodded. "We do"

They both were walking back to their car when they passed a family with twin little boy and girl happily and smiling.

"One day" Donald said and smiled.

"One day" Panchito said and they kissed him. They were going to have a baby. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday they will and he or she will be special as they would be the product of the Love of a beautiful and sailor duck and a devilishly handsome rooster and loyal bird. It was the horrible day that their daughter, Della Pistoles Carioca Duck, have died from Donald miscarriage.

Ducklings as they grow up masterpost

hey, so i’ve made a lot of posts about how everyone grows up and for your convenience i’ve decided to put the important bits plus extra into one post.

this gets long to under the cut it goes

Huey

13-16: wears sweater vests because he’s a nerd. Around 15 he realises he’s asexual and is generally pretty chill about it and is generally not interested in dating. Puberty is fine except for when his voice breaks and for a while it just… randomly pitches higher. Donald gets how he feels since when he hit puberty the same thing happened (so between that and his speech impediment puberty was not fun for Donald). Huey’s siblings tease him relentlessly for it tho.

17-21: still wearing a sweater vest. Still not interested in dating, but people who talk to him are and his naturally sweet nature means a lot of people crush on him, not that he really notices (boy can tell from the next room that Louie has fallen in love again but can’t tell when someone is flirting with him smh). Is learning to fly from his mother and Launchpad, so he’s not only going to be able to fly expertly, but also be able to survive and repair/rebuild after any crash. Ends up about average height for a duck, like Donald or Scrooge’s height and gains some muscle.

21+: finally changed his look and now tends to wear overalls. At some point, Ma Beagle passes away and Huey is asked by Bouncer and Burger to take over, which ticks off Big-Time and a small group of the other Beagle Boys. the rest embrace his leadership and make peace with his family as he changes the groups from a criminal gang to model citizens. They do a lot of charity work like recycling, building homes for the homeless and raising money for the needy etc. and the Junior Woodchucks are flooded with the youngest members of the family. There are also a lot of turf wars with the Beagles who broke off, they call themselves the Big-Timers now.

Dewey

13-16: cycles through various adventurer-style outfits and does not suit any of them, mainly because he has dozens of zits and keeps having random growth spurts which makes him all gangly and awkward. Bi as hell and uses bad pick-up lines when he has a crush. Getting a more in-depth education on sailing from Donald. Has developed a tendency to jump onto high places and belt out musicals out of nowhere. Is also being taught to fight by Webby.

17-21: finally picks a look, tank tops and sleeveless denim jackets, and he’s also considering getting an anchor tattoo (don’t tell Donald). Actually looks pretty good since he turns out really tall (like, a head shorter than LP) and gains a lot of muscle, he loves being tall since it drives Huey crazy. Tries to be a suave, flirty adventurer, but can’t flirt to save his life, so it drives him nuts that Huey gets so much attention without even realising it. Loves to party, sneaks into clubs a lot.

21+: sticks to denim, does get the tatoo (Donald faints), still can’t flirt. When Scrooge retires they go adventuring together with Dewey working as skipper. Very capable on adventures now, what with the skills he learned with Webby and Scrooge, but often needs his uncle to drag him out of danger (and visa versa).

Louie

13-16: goth phase. He ends up with Scrooge and Fergus’ sideburns, and more or less looks like Scrooge did as a teenager. Wears a black, zip up hoodie over a green shirt, green hair dye on his bangs, and too much eye-liner. Gay edgy boy with a diary full of bad poems. Reads the Duckverse equivalent of Twilight and develops an unhealthy concept of romance where his type is jerks with heart of gold; falls in love with jerks with hearts of jerk super easily, cries a lot. Retains some sense of humor, mainly in the form of standing behind Scrooge and mirroring his movements, Manny sometimes joins in.

17-21: over his goth phase. Very confident, snappy dresser, wears blazers, scarves, and bling. Also really short and chubby and cute, loves himself. A good hustler and gambler (he cheats like crazy) to make some cash since he’s stuck as an unpaid intern at the Money Bin (Scrooge: you’re being paid in experience. Fenton: that means he’s cheap. Louie: don’t I know it). Has moved on from duck-Twilight to awful romance novels and duck-Fifty Shades of Gray. So he still has terrible taste in men and gets his heart broken (he eats so much ice cream). Can use his rep as “Love-struck Louie” to trick suckers into thinking he’s fallen in love with them for hustling purposes, but he has to be careful because this can backfire if he accidentally does fall for them. Also flirts to get what he wants and has a really good gaydar, no matter how deep in the closet someone is.

21+: turns out hard work really does pay off! When Scrooge retires to go adventuring full-time, Louie’s the only one with the experience and any actual desire to run the company. Wears tailor-made gray suits and silk, green ties. Remodels the manor and loves throwing lavish parties hosted by the ghosts of Beakley and Duckworth. Is actually a hard worker, pulling all nighters, as well as putting a lot of money into charity. “Recommends” the board of vultures who stopped Scrooge from searching for Della retire, replaces them with new members, including Gyro and Fenton, and makes Manny head of R & D. Also hires Webby as his bodyguard and keeps LP on as his chauffeur. Also finally burns all those romance novels and tries harder to protect his heart. For reasons i don’t fully understand, I love the idea of Louie and Mark Beaks becoming enemies. Like, maybe mirroring Scrooge and Glomgold; they take over the Billionaires club and spend their time there glaring at each other, whilst their bodyguards Webby and Graves (because I said so) are on hand to keep them from getting into a slap fight. The rest of their time is spent trying to outdo each other in new tech (and with Gyro and Fenton now being part of his board of directors there’s no end to the ideas to one-up the jerk).

Webby

17-21: doesn’t grow much, she and Louie end up around the same height as adults. Lesbian. Still loves the colour pink, and also denim jackets; wears a handkerchief wrapped around her head instead of a bow (like this but pink). As hyper and excited about the world and adventures as she’s always been, but thanks to the influence of her honorary siblings she’s ridiculously sarcastic. she’s also become a bit of a prankster, so everyone in the manor has developed a habit of slowly and carefully opening doors and cabinets in case anything jumps out, checking “treasure” for price labels, and making sure maps and documents relating to treasure and artifacts are what they appear to be. Duckworth and occasionally Della are often her partners in crime. Joins in when Dewey randomly starts singing. She’s in the process of officially joining SHUSH.

21+: as I said, she becomes Louie’s bodyguard, but that’s mainly an excuse to hang out with him, and is also her cover for her other job as a SHUSH agent, since Louie can actually defend himself just fine (she also keeps him awake during board meetings). Wears a black suit when on bodyguard duty and a pink catsuit on missions. Grows her hair out and ties it back with a pink bow.

Lena

16-21: pansexual. Generally wears a heavy coat over a dress and various enchanted items of jewelry that Scrooge lets her keep. BTW yes Scrooge has long since adopted her and is now her dad. About as interested in dating as Huey is, but might still flirt if she finds someone cute; having said that she’s gotten into more than one fight with Louie over a boy (but if the guy is interested in Louie she chases him off since he’s clearly a creep, Louie’s a kid after all). She’s generally a pretty chill person, but she does struggle to make her needs known to her family and is kind of closed off around new people. Has power over both dark and light magic (a connection to shadows and celestial objects, can travel through shadows and shape shift + general magic stuff), but for a while she has poor impulse control, even though she wants to use it for good. Luckily, she finds Scraps the familiar, and black and white corgi who protects her and tries to keep her from doing dumb stuff with her magic.

21+: develops into a powerful sorceress, recognised by various magical authorities as Empress of Light and Queen of Shadows. Wears black with various shades of blue and purple, wears long skirts and long baggy sleeves, generally develops a more elegant style. Outside Duckburg everyone believes her to be the town’s mysterious sorceress and protection, to its citizens she commands a certain amount of respect but is generally regarded as Lena McDuck, the girl who blew up Funzo’s when she was fifteen and who occasionally shows up out of nowhere, her corgi likes to be petted too.

Ducktales/Disney Avatar AU (Part 1)

I was thinking about this AU since long time ago. And finally i got to end it. 

Earth, air, fire, water. When we were younger, the old man of the town told us stories about a person, born from time to time between each nation, who could master all the four elements, who were called "the avatar." He told us how the avatar kept the peace throught his time until he died because of the betrayal of one of his associates and that, as a result, a war was to begin. We also heard the stories, told by that old madman, of how the avatar had had a group of partners in which my Uncle Donald figured as a great waterbender. I, personally, did not believe these stories, because of my uncle Donald, and I remained skeptical. See to believe, isn’t it? I’ve never had seen someone who could master more than one element… Until that day when Dewey, my younger brother, accidentally burned my Uncle Donald's boat with his hands. Now, my brother is the avatar, he has to maintain the world order. And, you know what? ... I trust in him.

New team Avatar: Group of friends of the new avatar Dewey. It’s currently formed mainly by his brothers and Webbigail Vanderquack.

Dewey - The new and improved avatar (or so he says). Dewey was born in the southern water tribe inside uncle Donald’s boat, and he is the second brother of triplets, that is to say that he is the one in the middle. Dewey is the most powerful avatar so far as he is extremely strong both physically and mentally; but he has a problem: he has a hard time learning to control them properly because he always acts before thinking (Scrooge, his last teacher, always scolds him for working harder than working smarter) His abilities are superior by much of the previous avatar: in addition to the four elements, he knows pretty well energy control, healing, purification, and metalbending; and he achieved a better control of the avatar state, being practically conscious when he uses it (but this after a lot of practice and an early maturation he didn’t wanted to get). Funny fact: He discovered he was the avatar because he set on fire Louie’s sweater and then, trying to put out the fire he burnt all the boat. After that, Uncle Donald took him and his brothers to all the world and he belived it was because of the shame he made them pass that time (but Donald does this because he wants to protect his nephews).

Huey - He is the elder triplet brother of avatar Dewey, and Louie. He is a boy from the southern water tribe, the son of a waterbender (who died) and an airbender (who disappeared); is, along with his two younger brothers, in the care of his uncle Donald (who is a waterbender and expert navigator). He is a waterbender as well as his uncle and his father, with an innate talent for healing and soul purification through water, and his power is strong enough to control the clouds from the ground thanks to the arduous practice which has had since he was small thanks to being part of the rescue group “Junior Woodchuck”. In addition, he knows very well self-defense without element thanks to his training as Junior Woodchuck, and all the things that the JW guidebook has taught him. And because of his personality, the spirit of the moon gave him some abilities that only the water witches can possess: Astral travel, basic energy-bending, and the ability to enter into the dreams of other creatures. He has a responsible personality, organized, worried for his brothers, with a very particular temperament (maybe learned or even inherited from his uncle Donald) and with problems to know how to have fun. Curious fact: He has a red hat because Uncle Donald didn’t wanted to confuse them (the nations has to wear the same color. Every. Day).

Louie – The younger brother of Huey and avatar Dewey, with the same offspring as them: Born in the southern water tribe, son of an airbender and a waterbender, living with his uncle in a boat, etcetera. As for his abilities, he is also a water master who has control of the element as an innate talent, and without much practice managed to master the element much faster than his brothers; unfortunately he is too lazy and does not practice as much as them and somehow ended up being the weakest in power (though with Dewey it's pretty obvious because ... he's the avatar; but he stills weaker than Huey). After seeing what his brothers were capable of doing, he decided to begin a training by himself. In the way to the success, failing a lot because he didn’t wanted to learn with his brothers only cause of his pride, he found a women who taught him a lot like healing, fighting,taking water from the weather, and the forbidden water technique: Bloodbending. He can use this powers without the full moon,, even he is so powerful he can waterbend and bloodbend only with his eyes. He is a very loose and whining, manipulative, and too emotional boy, but with a little impulse he can get to do great things because of his great determination and cunning (for example, learning those forbidden and complicated techniques). Curious fact: He has Della’s visors just because Uncle Donald didn’t wanted to confuse them (the nations has to wear the same color. Every. Day). Another fun fact: He had never have watched his waterbender teacher’s face.

Webby – She’s a kyoshi warrior apprentice who lives in Scrooge’s mansion (the ancient air temple of the north). She lives in there with her granny (a Kyoshi Warrior trainer), and all her partners and the apprentices. She is a very strong girl even without an element to bend, with physical skills that are to envy like knowing lots of martial arts, a lot of history, of war, of war tactics, music, culture, she knows where the nervous points are to leave a person without their bending and physical abilities for moments, and she even is the little bodyguard for the tripplets (mostly Dewey because of the uprising war). She gets excited very quickly because she didn’t had a normal childhood, growing up closed in that air temple, just training to be a good Kyoshi Warrior as her granny. So when the tripplets came out, she had a taste of freedome for first time. Fun fact: She really is Dewey’s bodyguard, even if he doesn’t want to. If anyone of the tripplets gets violent, she has the permission to block them out of their powers until one of their uncles arrive the place.

Old team Avatar: The group that formed the closest friends of the Avatar Mickey.

Mickey Mouse - He was the previous avatar, born in the Fire nation with an older sister (who wasn’t a bender) and his parents. He gained control of the four elements and a little of energy-bending. Unfortunately it was not enough and he was murdered at 25 years old by one of the former leaders of the order of the white lotus (General Peter of the Fire Nation, who revealed he was in associate with the society of the red lotus). He was a playful, adventurous and some sort of irresponsible avatar. He kept his whole life a childish and selfish attitude, because of the different life he had, having not a normal childhood because of the training to be a good avatar; but despite this, he kept the earth kingdom away from a revolution, maintaining the world order. He had benevolent and naive attitude, so he is considered one of the best avatar that has ever existed. In a part of his life, he discovered he had a half-brother, but when they met, his brother hated him a little with no reason.

Donald Duck - He is a waterbender and the best sailor in the world, or that is what he says (because, truthfully, he is a better waterbender than sailor). He was one of Mickey's closest friends, and one of the few people who watched General Pete kill him. He was part of the society of the white lotus until the murder of Mickey and the disappearance of Della (thinking that was the order’s fault, and mostly of his Uncle Scrooge). He now lives in the southern water tribe, taking care of his nephews in the name of his sister and, with dying hopes, that she will return someday. And after discovering that Dewey was the avatar, he forced the family to move much of the city in the city hoping that the white lotus and/or the red lotus involves his family again in a conspiration (he hates them alike). His skills are truly impressive, so much so that he was Mickey's teacher in the element of water, and he is currently the master of Huey, Dewey and Louie (Although he initially taught only the basics, the white lotus command forced him to teach him all that Dewey knew). He has innate talent for healing, and when he is angry he can easily beat an army of fire and land soldiers alone (or all the beagle boys on a milestone).

Goofy - A soldier of the earth kingdom who did not agree with the revolution some rich people wanted to do in the earth kingdom. He does not own an element and is quite clumsy normally, causing millions of accidents, but his loyalty made him one of the most important in the avatar team. Currently, he lives in a village near Omashu, where he took care of his son Max and told him all his adventures as a friend and companion of the old avatar. But that was before he disappeared at the hands of the “face thief” (an evil spirit who steals your face). Goofy thinks that he is dead, so in every Max’s birthday, he makes a little funeral for him and sings and stuff.

Pluto - It was avatar Mickey’s pet. He is an ordinary dog, but it was his companion throughout his life, even because Mickey was a small mouse, the avatar could mount his pet. The animal was buried next to its master a few days after the death of the avatar; is thought to have died of sadness.

Honorary member.

Della Duck – An impressive airbender who revolves the tecniques of this ancient art. She was a pilot of the Northern Water tribe army when she lived with her parents and his twin Donald, as well as one of the first women on a real plane. While her brother is a waterbender, she is an airbender because her mother has the air genes and her father is a native from the water tribe. But she doesn’t worked as a monk because the aribenders where practically extinct. She is the mother of the triplets (Huey, Dewey and Louie), and with that, the mother of the new Avatar Dewford. Sadly, she never got a chance to see that, because she disappeared seconds before the murder of avatar Mickey. Her skills as an airbender were impressive, and most importantly, she was Mickey's teacher on the Air element. She was mainly the pilot of the avatar team and she didn’t get into the adventures as much as her brother did (she had to take care of Scrooge's plane).
