bold and italics: camera directions, or what you would be seeing as a viewer of the documentary in person
just italics: interviewer questions, or people who are speaking off camera
Part 2 Part 3
Tumblr media
Harry jogs off stage, his mask wrapped securely around his ears as he leaves the sounds of thousands of screams behind. Even so, his squinted eyes make it obvious that he’s smiling. He walks into his dressing room and shuts the door with a soft click and immediately starts to change out of his concert outfit. After shimmying into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, Harry grabs his phone and sits down on the couch.
“Hi, Mama.”
“Hi, baby. How was the show?”
"Amazing. I feel like we get better with each performance."
"Aw, H. I'm so happy for you!"
Harry grins at his phone while resting his chin on his hand. "Missed seeing you. Missed seeing all of you."
"We're so proud of you, baby. No matter how far away we are," the voice on the other side of Harry's phone says. "In other news, the bub has been quite active today."
"Yeah?" Harry says, and his demeanor immediately visibly brightens. "Hope she's not giving you too much trouble."
"We don't know if it's a she, H."
"I do. I have a sixth sense for these types of things."
Cut to Harry sitting in an empty room for his interview.
“So, why did you decide to talk about all of this now?”
Harry rubs his chin as he ponders the question. “I think…I think it’s hard not to. When I think back on my career, I think about how old Simone was or how Jules had just begun walking or sneaking to a courthouse to get married. My family is a part of my life and has been a part of most of my career. My kids, my wife...they mean everything to me, and I—I know it sounds kind of crazy, but I can’t imagine my life, my career any differently. I wouldn’t want to do this without my family.”
The camera cuts to a series of home videos—Y/n and Harry sharing a kiss in a courthouse, members of One Direction celebrating around them, a toddler in Harry’s lap as he plays the piano, Y/n on a tour bus with a small bundle in her arms, Harry catching a little girl as she jumps into a pool, a little girl with dark curls playing with all members of One Direction backstage at a concert venue, Harry asleep on a hotel bed with his face covered in play makeup, a three year old sleeping next to him.
“Should we start with when you met Y/n?”
His grin is immediate. “I was seventeen years old.”
Harry’s voice becomes a voice over as clips of him and the members of One Direction film their music video for What Makes You Beautiful.
“It sounds cheesy, but I’ve always thought it was fate that we met. Her friend was an extra in the video, and she happened to tag along. I was immediately taken with her. We got along really well and talked long after I left LA.”
The camera cuts back to Harry.
“Just talked?”
Harry blushes. “Obviously not, but I’m a gentleman. All I’ll say is, kids, understand the importance of practicing protected sex.”
A cut to a similar room where Y/n sits.
“He said that? My husband, everybody.”
Everyone behind the studio laughs with her.
“So you got pregnant.”
Y/n nods. “Oh yeah.”
“Was there ever a moment where you didn’t want to tell Harry?”
“It definitely crossed my mind. We were so young and we didn’t see each other very often in the grand scheme of things. No one ever expects something like this to happen to them, but it happened to us.”
Back to Harry.
“I was terrified. Mostly terrified to tell my mum, but it…it changed everything. Here I was thinking my life had already changed drastically with the band, and then Y/n is pregnant.”
The camera cuts to Anne’s interview.
“I mean, I think the possibility is in the back of parent’s mind,” she says, shaking her head a little. “But you raise your children to be smart and responsible and hope for the best.”
“How did that conversation go when Harry told you?”
“He was practically crying over the phone, which made me…less angry, which isn’t even the right word, I don’t think. Poor Harry was so scared, and all I kept thinking was, ‘I send my son to Hollywood and a few months later he gets some girl pregnant.’ I didn’t even know he was dating Y/n.”
“You didn’t?”
“No, so that made the whole thing even more surprising. But he kept saying, ‘Mum, she’s not just some girl. She’s really special.’ Things like that. But I won’t lie, it was a lot to digest.”
Back to Y/n.
“What was it like meeting Anne for the first time?”
“Oh God,” Y/n says. “Mortifying. I was already showing when we met, which made the whole thing that much worse. We couldn’t even pretend we were meeting under normal ‘meet your boyfriend’s mom for the first time’ circumstances. But she was really nice. She asked how I was feeling and helped me get set up with the right doctors. She made me feel welcome, which I appreciated.”
Back to Harry.
“Her parents weren’t as supportive as mine, and she was feeling kind of isolated and overwhelmed, so I convinced my mum to let Y/n live with her.”
Back to Y/n.
“You lived with Harry’s mother?”
Y/n nods and smiles at the camera. “It felt like the right thing to do at the time, and I stand by it. Things were really tense at home, and I just thought it would be a little easier going through everything with people who were completely on board.” Y/n shrugs. “I was young and scared and needed a maternal figure. I tried to think of it as going off to college.”
“But no one had a clue about any of this.”
Back to Harry.
Harry shakes his head. “My management at the time wanted to make this go away as quickly as possible. They tried to pay Y/n off so she wouldn’t contact me again or say anything about it.”
“Really?”
Back to Y/n.
“Yeah, but I told them to shove their offer up their asses. It wasn’t nearly as much as I would’ve gotten from child support, first of all.”
“Did you ever consider taking the offer?”
“Of course I did. I had to consider all my options.” Y/n is quiet for a moment and doesn’t look at the camera. “I eventually decided to stay with Harry and have the baby, but, you know, I had my whole life ahead of me. Both of us did.”
Back to Harry.
“Did you know about that?”
“The payoff? Yeah, she told me shortly after. As for the other stuff…I knew. And I would’ve respected whatever decision she made. But when she decided to keep the baby and keep me in her life, I told management they would have to figure something else out, and keeping her and the pregnancy was their solution.”
“What was it like to be in One Direction while having a baby at home?”
“Strange,” Harry says. “Like, some of the best moments of my life were in the band, but then I would get a text from Y/n and it would be a picture of Simone in the bathtub covered in bubbles, and I would want to be there all of a sudden.”
A series of videos and photographs of Harry and Y/n in 2012 appear. In hotel rooms, backstage at One Direction concerts, homes. With each image, Y/n’s baby bump grows.
(Voiceover) “It was this weird mix of having so much fun and feeling bad when I realized Y/n was at home by herself with a newborn. She’s never blamed me or never asked me to stop what I was doing, but this tiny seed of guilt was always in the back of my mind.
A video of a young Harry and Y/n appears. They seem to be in a dressing room. Y/n lays against Harry while his hand rests on her baby bump. Y/n looks up at Harry and smiles, and he smiles back before he looks up and realizes they’re being filmed. “Oi! Get out of here, Louis!” Louis laughs from behind the camera and says, “You’ll thank me later!”
“We were faced with a lot of decisions, none of them easy. And sneaking around had its drawbacks, especially when my management team wanted me to start doing all the fake dating and stuff.”
Harry stops talking, as if recalling a memory, but he doesn’t share it. “But one thing was easy at least. When we first met, we bonded over our love for Nina Simone. When Y/n suggested it, it just sounded right.”
Back to Harry in his dressing room.
“How is everyone?” he asks Y/n over the phone.
“I have four little monkeys that should be asleep, but they wanted to say goodnight first.”
Harry’s grin widens as a chorus of hellos echoes from his phone. From a different angle over his shoulder, four faces can be seen on his screen. “Hi, hi, hi, hi. Are you all being good for your mumma?”
“Dada!”
“Where are you?”
“How was the show?”
“Hi my loves. The show went really, really great. I miss you all so much,” Harry says.
“When are you coming home, Dada?”
“Soon, Maeve, I promise. Just a couple more nights and I’ll be home.”
“Can we get ice cream when you come home?”
Harry laughs. “Yes, peanut, we can get ice cream. Now go to sleep. It’s past your bedtime.”
There’s lots of protesting from the four children on the phone, but one voice pipes up above the rest. “Can you sing us a song?”
“Of course, JuJu. How could I forget? What would you like?”
Back to Harry’s interview.
“So, how many kids do you have now?”
“I am a proud father of six. Five girls, one boy, one set of twins.”
“Full house then.”
Harry nods and makes a mock-exasperated sigh. “Oh yeah.”
“What’s that like?”
“There’s never a dull moment, that’s for sure. Y/n’s the real marvel, though. I don’t know how she does it.”
Back to Y/n.
“I’m not gonna lie, there are times where I don’t even feel like a person, but Harry works just as hard to give our family the life we have. And he’s an incredible dad. He’ll come home from tour, clearly exhausted, and he’ll still be the first one out of bed to get the kids ready for school and make breakfast and change diapers. I mean, the man doesn’t stop.”
“You’re a team, then.”
Y/n smiles. “Yeah. We’re a team. All eight of us.”
“Did you see yourself ever having six kids?”
“I mean...technically we were supposed to stop at four.”
“So what happened?”
Y/n sighs and shakes her head exasperatedly. “The pandemic happened.”
A home video begins to play in the Styles’ living room. Harry is filming and Y/n is in front of it with her hands behind her back.
“Alright. Tell me why the camera’s out, Mama. Where are the kids?”
“They’re building a pillow fort for us in our room, but first…I  have a surprise for you.”
Y/n leans past the camera to give him a small gift bag. Crinkling is heard as Harry pulls tissue paper out of the bag. “Are you serious?”
Y/n nods, a large grin on her face. “I’m about six weeks along.”
Harry laughs, and the camera wobbles as he rushes over to Y/n to pick her up. Their giggles and cheers of excitement can be heard offscreen.
“We’re having a baby!” Harry says.
Back to Harry.
“Are you gonna go for lucky number seven?”
Harry scratches the back of his head. “Currently up for debate. The missus is apprehensive, but I think I’m wearing her down.
Back to Y/n
Y/n scoffs and shakes her head. “He can keep on dreaming.”
“So you’ve had this discussion before?”
“It’s…been mentioned once or twice. But any time he brings it up I threaten him with no sex for two weeks. Am I allowed to say that?”
Back to Harry.
Harry opens his mouth to speak when a small hand tugs on his shirt. Looking down, he smiles. Harry bends down and picks up a little girl. For privacy reasons, her face is blurred. She wraps her arms around his neck so she’s in his lap and her back is facing the camera.
“I’m hungry,” the little girl says in what can only be described as a “monster voice.”
Matching her tone, Harry asks, “What would you like, GiGi?”
“Grilled cheese.”
Harry shakes his head and kisses GiGi’s temple. He covers the microphone clipped on his shirt so he can talk to his daughter privately. With another kiss, he lets go of the mic. “You got it.” Harry shrugs at the camera with a smile. To the camera, he says, “Can we finish this later? Duty calls.”

Taylor Swift is being way to much overhyped that's the problem. They show her down on everyone's throat. She's not legendary just because she is popular and she has many fans.
Seriously, I can imagine NFL fans being tired of seing her face. I for the love of god can't imagine Football fans being fans of her music. She doesn't appeal to every generation and her music doesn't have long lasting impact. No matter how hard they try. It just isn't working.
The damn comparsions like Beatles, Madonna, Michael Jackson. Mostly Michael Jackson. And it's not even fans ( sometimes I wonder if they are her haters who set her up like this). It's also these trashy tabloids. " Oh she's like Michael Jackson." And then they fucking lie to make it seem like she broke one of his records to make it seem impressive. Like once they claimed that she broke the record of the highest crossing concert tour film. Which was previous hold by Michael with This is it. This is it wasn't even a concert tour. He died before he could do any show it was just a documentary. Or that she broke his record of selling the most in the 21 century in a year. This isn't impressive. He didn't even live like 9 years in this century. And he has only released one album during that time while he was still alive. How is that even? I swear...
And of course if you do comparsions like that. People have Standards. And when they see that she can't dance and is a mediocre performer they start dragging her. Well then of course these Swifties come in and say: " Well she is a singer not a dancer. " " She doesn't need to know how to dance. She's just having fun." Well newsflash if Michael Jackson (sometimes for no reason) is constantly being brought up to her name. Of course people are going to expect someone who can perform. As he literally was said to be the greatest entertainer of all time.
"She doesn't appeal to every generation and her music doesn't have long lasting impact. No matter how hard they try. It just isn't working."
This is absolutely true, anon, you are a pinnacle of wisdom.
I might not be the greatest fan of all of these artists you mentioned but they were/are legendary performers. It's almost blasphemous to compare Michael Jackson with her, because if you remove the numbers of tickets sold, people in concerts and the hype of the moment, what do you actually have?
A pop performer who can't perform because as you said, she can't dance and all instruments she holds just seem like adornments. She is basically supposed to be a doll on stage and she actually is, because the impact she causes on me is basically the same as an inanimate object.
Everyone is expecting a pop singer to be not only a singer, but a dancer, an actual entertainer. You can see even Blue Ivy, Beyoncé's daughter, puts a great effort in her dancing and her improvement is actually pretty visible. I find it insane that someone that has that amount of money can't do the bare minimum to actually perform her job decently.
"No, but she has been through stuff"
My sister in Christ, Michael Jackson had to deal with the fact he had to deal with traumas he would never get rid of due to his abusive father and being a black minority in a deeply racist country. Having to deal with break ups is not "being through stuff", it's just what a very average person has to deal with.
But I don't know, maybe we're just all wrong. At this point she can just take a big shit on stage and they will cry their eyes out for being disruptive.

The Kills' new stuff?
I've been a fan of the Kills since Blood Pressures was released (eons ago, really). My partner got into them when Midnight Boom was around. I was really obsessed with them and now I pick them up with massive nostalgia because well, the sound and factually the aura, feel, the whole will they/did they/etc shenanigans really tied the whole image together, even if they dropped it. But watching documentaries like I Hate The Way You Love, french documentaries, long interviews, old recorded gigs and trying to figure out things even if it's their own lives, they had their own mystique around them.
They were very cool. It wasn't that they gave more interviews then, it was that they knew what to say, they knew what not to say, it was natural for them. Now it feels like a forced recipe in the music, which is really sad. I knew Jamie had talked about straying from guitars quite a while now, but it's sad to properly witness it in the tracks we've seen.
I'm happy that Alison is more comfortable and found love with Damian Lewis, I'm sure everyone is very very happy for her and bless that! Seriously, I grin from ear to ear. They look very sweet with one another.
I don't think that strained The Kills though, but Jamie had always been behind steering the wheel behind the scenes, so it really feels like he's lost interest in making guitar music. I know obviously they've grown, but as corny as it is we need to address that this feels like a "Little Room" situation, which most know is a The White Stripes song (c'mon, we're the same fandom practically). Jamie talked about it in length of how brilliant it was and how relatable it was. The Kills played in a closet space while they were getting on track before Keep on your Mean Side and starting the band. And now obviously they've gotten far more creative space and recognition, but it feels like they're doing it to do it.
I'm probably bias as hell, but I love the whole raw energy and strict bare sound that they had in the beginning, as well as Jamie's former projects like Scarfo and Fiji, which really focused on talking about poverty, being low on the ladder, crime and unattainable things. Now all of that is achieved and they did sort of feel like they missed the old days (hence the massive rehashes of polaroids from their first US tour and releasing Dream & Drive). It was fascinating to dig into their musical influences, hear Jamie read Kerouac, how they bonded over Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgewick, Jamie showing Alison The Velvet Underground and PJ Harvey, talking about Sonic Youth.
I don't get the same vibe from Rihanna fan talk and the current music they enjoy. I'm not saying your influences have to be very seen in your music, but here it feels very bland, imo.
And regarding to the controversial album cover of "God Games" I saw it, I was a bit surprised that it was very very... meh and I was just even more underwhelmed since the songs are very very bland to me, so bland songs, bland album. I'm not entirely sure what they wanted to say with it, I know they stopped being vegans eons ago or stand up for animal rights, and not saying that only vegans care about animal rights! But it does feel like a quick note on "hey, this is our interpretation which is xyz" as a simple reply anywhere would make more sense than running to make some stupid drama of are they supporting bullfighting and what is this shit get the album some attention. Meh.

Ian/Dan/Phil
Roll with me here
say no more Anon, I GOT you!!!
genre: angst, smut words: 1.327
Your Anthony
It was around Christmas in 2018. And Ian Hecox was not okay.
He sat on his couch, huddled up under a couple of blankets, empty packages of Ben and Jerry's on the ground next to him. He was clutching a bottle of vodka and casting YouTube to his tv.
"This is my weekend!" He thought, trying to justify his behavior to himself.
But all content on YouTube was shit. Maybe he should go back and watch war documentaries in stead. He clicked through a couple of particularly cringy cooking video's with YouTubers who had never even seen a single calory before but somehow pretended to love sweets. Pathetic! He clicked on.
Then he saw a Dan and Phil video. It was titled 'Phil is not on fire 10.
"Wow, they're still going strong at least," Ian thought. He had met them a couple of times, they were nice people. Very reserved though, and somehow mysterious. That was probably their appeal.
"I hope I don't get spontaneous epilepsy from this.."
The video was edited in a frantic, ecclictic way, but it was done very well. Dan and Phil weren't trying to appeal to anyone. They were really just weird like that. They'd drawn whiskers on their faces with sharpies and did random shit on Phil's bed. Somehow, Ian wanted to keep on watching.
"I'm like, hey, you just caught me in the Apple store..."
Dan and phil had just ironically ironed their hair straight and reminisced about their early years. Ian couldn't help but be reminded of those same years, and even earlier than that, when he and Anth.. Anthony, had been so happy together.
"Well, shit." Ian cried. He took another swing of his bottle for good measure.
A coupe of hours later he had watched all Dan and Phil's 'pinof''s and was now on their 'day in the lives'. He definitely noticed the visual similarities between Anthony and Dan, for instance that they were both incredibly pretty. Ian paused the video on a still of Dan. Dan was staring at Phil. Ian looked at Dan's face, his features were delicate. Maybe Anthony was a bit more boyish, and Dan a bit more feminine. Dan's eyes were a bit darker brown as well.
"I can see why Phil keeps him close," Ian thought.
His drunk thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing of his phone. It was MatPat.
"Yo, Ian-meister! Are you up for a party with fellow mediocre white male youtubers? JUST KIDDING but accurate still. It's me, Jack, Ryan and Connor. Oh and Dan and Phil are here too, isn't that weird and fun?! COME ON IAN GET YOUR WHITE ASS OVER HERE!"
Ian smiled at the text. Matt knew he was going through it at the moment, and he appreciated how he was trying to cheer him up.
"Well, why the hell not actually." Ian got up, and immediately sat back down. He was too drunk for this. But he called an Uber and somehow made it to the party.
~
It was a typical YouTuber house on the hills. Everyone was incredibly nice and Ian started to sober up a little, until they served him more liquor. But most people there were on something so nobody judged.
"Hey, Ian from Smosh," Dan joked.
"Hey, Dan from Dan and Phil," Ian joked back.
"How are you?" Dan was the only one at the party who looked concerned for him.
"I mean.. I've been better," Ian laughed. "But I can't complain, really. We're pulling through, and I'm surrounded by incredible talent."
"I'm glad, man." Dan laid his hand on Ian's shoulder. Wow, he was incredibly tall.
"Why are you in the states, though?"
"We are having a reunion with all the tour crew from this year," Phil chimed in.
"Oh, how nice." Ian really liked when 'creators' were actually nice people. Because it was very rare. "I'm glad you're here, by the way."
"Aww thanks! We're glad too!"
They had some more drinks and at one point Ian remembered looking at Dan but his vision blurred and he didn't remember anything after that.
~
He woke up in a hotel room. Disoriented and with a massive headache. There were two beds. He lay in one, and two dark heads of hair snored softly, cuddled together, in the other. Ian sat up, slowly. He needed to pee so badly. But he had to take in this vision. Dan was spooning Phil, his leg sprawled over Phil's hip. The blankets only covering up some of their bodies.
This was so beautiful, and Ian felt privileged to be able to witness it. So why were tears streaming down his face? Why the FUCK could't he have this?! This level of intimacy, mutual love... Visions of him and Anthony in their many hotel rooms flashed before his eyes. There had certainly been opportunities. But they hadn't been able to go there. Only stolen glances. He had known Anthony was watching him undress. Shit. He walked to the shower.
Crying into the water streaming down, he started to rub himself off. It was nothing more than a morning boner, he told himself, not the sight he had just witnessed, the scene that could so very easily have been him and HIS best friend. Former best friend.
"Anthony..." Ian whimpered, but then he stiffened. He felt their presence. Were they... were they looking? Would he turn around and acknowledge them? They kept silent. So he decided to just continue.
"Anthony, why have we never taken the leap? It would have been so beautiful, Anthony.. I would have treated you like a fucking prince. I would have sucked you off every morning, noon and evening. You would absolutely want for nothing..."
He came and felt four hands wrap around him, in a warm hug, soft bodies pressing against him but hard dicks prodding impatiently. He hugged back, breathing hard.
"Ian," Dan whispered. "I can be your Anthony for now, if you want..."
Ian finally turned around and looked Dan in his slightly darker brown than Anthony's eyes. "Yeah, I would like that, actually."
Ian got on his knees in the shower, and took Dan's penis in his mouth. He looked at Dan's belly, softer than Anthony's, but tanned like him. It could work... He imagined Anthony standing there in the shower. Maybe they were at Vidcon and wanted to wash the day off. Anthony would always be so tired, he was an incredible introvert, although nobody would notice. Ian did, of course. And now Ian would take some of that stress away, give him a prober blow-job.
Dan moaned, Phil kissed him as Ian was still blowing him. Of course, Phil was still there, Dan and Phil were a package deal, after all. He felt Dan's dick get harder and harder, and then he thrusted hard into Ian's mouth, as Phil entered him. He moaned as he came into Ian's mouth. Ian stood up, looked up at Dan as he swallowed and kissed him. Dan had to bend over a bit but kissed back gladly, Phil had slowed down for the tender moment. Ian took a few steps back and leaned against the shower wall. And Phil sped up again, sensually moving and worshipping Dan's body as he penetrated him. Dan was very loud. After a while, Phil came and everyone washed off, and they went back into the hotel room.
"So, that was nice," Ian said, grinning.
"We don't often do this, by the way," Dan said.
"Don't worry about it," Ian reassured him. "I won't tell a soul. You know I can keep a secret or two."
"You're amazing, Ian," Phil said lovingly. "Let's keep in touch?"
"Yeah."
Ian called another Uber. When it arrived, he hugged the giant British guys, and looked at Dan one last time. "You're such a beautiful guy, Dan, I can't get over it."
"That's a very high compliment, coming from you," Dan said, beaming.
"Bye, Ian."
"Bye."

so basically a few weeks ago paul bellini sent me two signed mouth congress vinyls as a late birthday present slash gift for running the mouth congress social media and i thought i'd post a vinyl tour bc there's so many cool details here! this is gonna be a long post bc the lyric booklet that came with waiting for henry is pretty much a full zine and i really love all the effort they put into it
contents:
waiting for henry double LP (signed by scott and paul!)
ahhhh the pollution 7" (signed by scott and paul!)
Mouth Congress button (did not know this was a thing so it was just a fun little bonus gift he threw in)
first, close up photo of the sticker on the waiting for henry cover:
Tumblr media
next pictures of each of the vinyls:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the lighting was a bit off in these pictures but the vinyls are so beautiful it's unreal. ahhhh the pollution is a translucent bright orange, the first half of waiting for henry is beige, and the second half is this beautiful bright blue that looks like blue rasperry candy. i'm always a sucker for colorful vinyls (i just picked up a copy of "take the sadness out of saturday night" by bleachers on a seaglass vinyl the other day) and i wasn't sure if they had any left so the fact that both releases are on such beautiful vinyl is amazing
next we have the zine!! here's the cover:
Tumblr media
the first few pages are a short summary of the mouth congress story as told by paul himself, along with a few pictures of the band members from their college days:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
after that we have a fictitious profile of the band written by aviva avoovoo (a freelance writer character created by paul bellini) where she visits the mouth congress chalet and discovers the "dark secrets" that lie within. it's so funny and surreal but i didn't want to post every page of it so instead i'll focus on this old vaguely-cursed pic of paul that accompanied the writing:
Tumblr media
once we're done with the fictional side of things there's a two-page spread of cassettes mouth congress put together in the 80s/90s that they released in an attempt to promote the band. each cassette description has a list of featured songs, some of which were later put on "ahhhh the pollution" or "waiting for henry" and some of which i'd never heard about previously and am very intrigued by. i took close-up pics of these two specifically since they're the ones i most want to look into from that page
Tumblr media Tumblr media
specifically i really wanna learn more about madam alphonsa. who is she. she's mentioned in "me on my off hours" and makes an appearance on "madamifesto" and "let's hear it for show business." they mentioned in the mouth congress documentary that kevin used to play madam alphonsa's husband. several characters scott played in mouth congress were later done on kids in the hall but madam alphonsa is my new lost media obsession.
after that we have a solid six pages of scott and paul interviewing each other. again it's very long so i'm not posting everything but it was a very good interview which makes me love the band even more and it also had this picture with it:
Tumblr media
more old pictures (look how young scott and paul look in the bottom right one i'm losing my mind):
Tumblr media
centerfold:
Tumblr media
then we have at least 10 pages of lyrics for every song on waiting for henry as well as short blurbs about the story behind each song which was really cool and might be its own post someday, but last but not least i wanted to leave you with my favorite part of the mouth congress zine: the word search
Tumblr media
legit took this pic just so i could highlight the words digitally and not draw on the actual zine but oh my god i had so much fun doing this. unironically i think every vinyl should come with a thematically linked word search. it really just goes to show how much joy and effort scott and paul put into everything mouth congress does and i'm so honored i get to be part of their story at the level where i can get something like this autographed and sent to me for free (and also might get free admission to an upcoming mouth congress show if i help them set up beforehand and film the show?? like paul you do realize i would pay VIP prices for this but thank you for doing it for free?? also thank you for asking how my own musical went and genuinely caring about the answer???)
anyway this got a little rambly towards the end but my point is. queercore punk is truly the genre of all time and mouth congress is so fucking great nobody is going it like them

"  we're  going  to  be  taking  a  lie  detector  test  today.  you  will  be  hooked  up  to  the  machine,  and  we  will  ask  you  a  series  of  questions  -  whether  you  tell  the  truth  or  lie  is  up  to  you,  but  the  test  will  be  able  to  snitch  out  any  lies."
"  to  start,  what  is  your  first  name  and  what  city  are  we  in  ?  "
“ sterling salinger, and we are in new york city in a very pink room. ”
"  thank  you.  how  are  you  feeling  today  ?  "
“ fine. good. hungry, actually, are you hungry? i know a great pizza place not too far from here after this if you wanna. ” he motions between the two of them to garner a laugh.
"  ha, understandable.  how  about  an  easier  one  -  what's  your  favourite  colour  ?  "
“ red, or tarantino yellow just because you know exactly what i'm talking about when i said that and i bet you have the twisted nerve whistle in your head now. ”
"  and  your  favourite  film  genre ?  "
“ isn't that the million dollar question. i mean, ” he sits up a little straighter, “ you can't go wrong with a good thriller, but then you get into the sub-genres. psychological, look at aronofsky. film noir. and everyone loves a good melodrama, dark comedy. . . and we can finish that conversation later. ”
"  let's  see  -  what  is  one  thing  you  wouldn't  be  found  without ?  "
“ my phone . . . probably, like most people. has anyone not answered phone for this? genuinely? because that's a lie. ”

Louis Tomlinson • Alternative Press • 06.09.2022
How Louis Tomlinson had to find his purpose again to make Faith In The Future
filming a documentary about his life and his relationship with his fans.
he’s admittedly “buzzing”
Faith In The Future, which is primed for the energy of a live show and shies away from much of the acoustic aspects featured on his first record
“…has references all over it that I think say something about me, that's so much more fulfilling than having a fucking No. 1 record.”
He felt angry, frustrated, purposeless. “I wondered if this was going to be my narrative for the rest of my life, (when 2020 tour cancelled) 💔
2003 Red Hot Chili Peppers concert film Live at Slane Castle, which he viewed five times throughout lockdown. …he was able to really look inward (during lockdown).
The support from fans … made him feel a little less lost.
“…I've got a deep fucking connection with my fans. I think of it as one entity,”
“…always liked to be honest and quite literal in my lyrics, there was a weight to it emotionally, and that's not really how I carry myself as a person. I don't fucking like people feeling sorry for me,”
“… I was so reliant on other opinions,”
“…create a great live experience on the next tour,” (FITF intention)
more freedom and spontaneity to it—and most importantly, authenticity. (FITF)
“Bigger Than Me,” … “ I wanted it to feel like a statement of intent
“Out of My System,” a pulsating, punk-tinged Arctic Monkeys-inspired
“That’s The Way Love Goes” … encouraging another friend to get over the fact that he’s not in a relationship anymore
“…We're all watching each other from afar,” he smiles. “When we do see each other inevitably, it feels like not a day has passed.” (about 1D)
he was told he could have an imprint through his label at the time, Syco (the lies)
Tomlinson’s artist perspective, he believes, makes him uniquely adept in this area (discovering potential artists)

thank you! not too much work left for me i hope haha
my first language is russian and i also speak a tiny bit of german! been too long since i practiced it though
thank you for recs on bowie and VU!! i'm far from an expert on them lmao so i'll listen to these albums! i've only listened to earlier bowie albums from the man who sold the world to diamond dogs i think. life on mars must be one of my faves, i remember having it on repeat for WEEKS last year lmao. i dreamed of getting hunky dory on vinyl but couldn't find it in my local record stores :( the same with many other bowie, UV and lou albums too, no idea why they're such rare animals here. a ziggy copy i have must be one of the best sounding records in my whole collection tho! do you collect physical media?
i love velvet goldmine too!! i love todd haynes' style and it really does kinda feel like an ao3 fanfic lmao. this kind of biopics must be my favorite, when they're unauthorized or loosely based on actual stories. do you have any favorite music biopics?
my favorite artists are the beatles and john lennon! and as for the third one ehh.. even though it's not classic rock i'll say lana del rey, ever since her new single came out i've been listening to it obsessively
i see you love beatles too, so i'm just gonna say my favorite albums by them are the white album and magical mystery tour! as for john, my absolute fav of his is walls & bridges, but i guess imagine would be a good place to start as it's his dreamiest and maybe... softest? while still showing some of his edgier sides of the early 70s. plastic ono band is close to my favs after W&B but it definitely can feel too unsettling, not without lighter parts though. his part of double fantasy is full of highlights too (i like yoko's songs too though!) ugh sorry i could talk about john for hours really lmao
and as for lana- since we're into classic rock i think ultraviolence is right up that alley. it sounds so timeless it could well fit into the 70s. my other favs of hers are honeymoon and blue banisters!
i wish i watched more music documentaries and concerts but it's often too hard bc i know i'll never get to experience it live 😭 i've seen the beatles' shea concert tho and it was good! do you have favorite live shows and docs?
Once again, srry that it took me forever to reply and omg it’s almost Christmas lol But I’m excited to finally know you btw
By this time, you probably are done with your work, right? I hope that is the case so you can finally have a nice winter rest
I also try to learn German too cause like I have been obsessed with so many German artists for so long, the obvious one is Nico 😂 and also I love Kraftwerk and Rammstein, but my knowledge in German is limited to the random odd of the language
I’m also a big fan of Bowie early work too, just not so much on his folkish day lol. Still, The man who sold the world gotta be one of the my most fav albums of all time. Hunky is amazing too! Life On Mars is literally one of the song that hooked me on to David. I’m not sure if you knew this but the song Queen Bitch from this album is literally David trying to do a VU-style songwriting. So basically the narrator of that song supposed to be Lou or smth lol So yeah another weird Bowie-Lou Reed fanfic vibe 😂
About Vinyl, all of my fav artists’ records are hard to find here too, except for Bowie lol he is everywhere for some reason so prob a good thing. But no one in Thailand seems to know Velvet Underground or Lou hahaha.
I don’t own much records cause they are tbh quite expensive for me. But I have Diamond Dogs, VU’s debut album, and Lou’s Coney Island Baby on vinyl. All of them are the best things ever! But I do collect a lot of CDs
I truly not very big on biopic but Nowhere Boys is very amazing in my opinion. I love that films very much. I see that you are a big Beatles fans, what do you think about the film? I’m not sure about the accuracy but I think it’s beautiful how they depict Lennon-McCartney friendship.
Omg! I love Lana too! She is one of my all time fav artists and songwriters! Her new songs are so amazing. I’m alway intrigued by her lyrics and the way she expresses them
I haven’t listened to all of the White Albums and Magic Mysteries but so far I love George’s guitar style in the White Album so much that it’s prob gonna be my new favorite Beatles album. Personally, Let It Be is my favorite album by them but I haven’t watch the Get Back doc yet so I might need to do that!
Thank you for your recommendation on John’s music! I have been interested in John and Yoko’s works for sometime now but didn’t know where to start. They are such an iconic artistic present of the past century!
You probably have psychic ability for sure cause recently I just put Ultraviolence on repeat lol. Also it’s just delighted me how she put Lou’s name in Brooklyn Baby >< For Kana, I also love Honeymoon and Norman Fucking Rockwell
For live concert, I think I watched a bit too much Bowie’s live tbh. But I just cannot resist cause his stage crafts are just one of the best and his shows are my comfort place. I think Ziggy’s live and Diamond’s Dog’s live (you can see those in Cracked Actors’s doc) are probably his best. My fav act is the one he did Hamlet with Cracked Actors. But the one that comfort me the most is the Glass Spider tour live tbh. It’s a pretty meh album overall but the live show are so great and late 80s Bowie is like a father figure to me so I come back to that all the time
Not sure if you’ve watched Hayes’ Velvet Underground documentary yet but it’s very good! It could be focus too much on the early years of the band at time and doesn’t go beyond the post-John era so much but still there are a lot of direct history to learn from the doc as it has John and Moe, as well as, everyone who involved with the band and New York avant-garde scene of the 60s. Still, I personally think it doesn’t talk enough about Sterling Morrison and completely dismiss Doug Yule which is a bit sad. But I understand where Hayes is coming from tho, having John as the strongest present of the band as the leading narrative lol. Also the film is a bit pro-John Cale cause well… Lou is dead 😐 so that is a head-up
Anyways, I hope you have a great holiday and cannot wait to know who you are!
Tons of love,
Tawan!

Ooooo what would a documentary of empire be like? How chaotic would it be? I hc that Jean likes to go on those scooter things they have backstage and reiner is always probably in the background eating snacks.
the only one who's going to be so chaotic is jean. yep, he definitely likes to go on those scooter things, and he'll tease the cameraman to chase after him. jean would also be the one who talks to the camera the most, throwing winks every 2 minutes that you'd start thinking maybe he has some eye problem he needs to get checked out.
he also flirts a lot, both with the camera and with the people around him. marco is usually his first target, but he also likes to showcase his love-hate relationship with eren cause he knows their fangirls love seeing them together on stage LMAO (eren would only respond by smacking his palm against jean's face every time).
Jean probably likes to steal the camera away from the cameraman so he can take close up shots of his face. Or he will be behind the camera and he'll do that ASMR thingy as he pretends that the camera is you and he's taking you on a date, probably do a quick visit inside his tour bus.
reiner is pretty chill. he won't be looking or talking to the camera unless the cameraman approaches him first. but he will always be there. like whenever jean is doing his sexy poses in front of the camera, you can spot reiner just standing in the background, silently judging him. or he'll probably just sitting in the corner of the room, eating cheetos or reading his bible (good man, reiner). he's polite and he answers all the questions the cameraman throws at him but he won't be that talkative and his words sound like they're scripted (reiner is just a bit too stiff i guess). but he's super passionate when it comes to music so you can expect him doing some hardcore solo drums actions in the documentary.
eren... oh eren... good luck trying to catch him on camera. he's literally trying his best to avoid getting recorded. he's okay with it when he's on stage but when he's backstage, he's going to mind his own business and expect the crew to respect his privacy as well. he would smile at the camera, do a little friendly wave and then just go back to his phone, texting you or looking at his kids' pictures. when jean takes over the camera, this bitch will try to annoy the hell out of him. he'd follow eren around, sneaking inside the changing room to get a shot of eren shucking off his shirt (jean i love you for this).
one time, he caught eren smiling and laughing while he was on the phone and jean recorded the whole thing in silence.
"I know..." Eren said, biting his lower lips to stop himself from smiling too wide. "Yeah, baby, I miss you too. Shit, really? God, I can't wait to be home then. You must look so sexy in it. Now that we're married, I'm gonna make sure I'll fill you up with my--"
"DUDE EWW WHAT THE FUCK?!"
"JESUS--JEAN GODDAMN IT GIVE ME THE FUCKING CAMERA!"

hello! it is always a little awkward to talk about money but that's fine!! let's talk about money!!!
in case anyone was wondering we aren't a full time band (yet!), this isn't our job (yet!), and that is not an issue (ever!!). it would just be neato if that happened.
the best way to support us consistently is through our patreon. right now it covers our studio cost completely, which is lovely - as it continues to grow it will start paying for our time which would mean we can do this /as/ the aforementioned Job and spend more time making things! being with each other! going on tour! doing all the wonderful things bands do! that's a while away, but we're getting there.
our patreon has 3 tiers and all tiers get the same perks - so you aren't hampered by the amount of financial aid you can contribute in a given month and you're free to change as you please. the lowest tier is the price of a coffee each month. (we do have a slightly higher tier that means you get an exclusive thing sent to you from us every 3 months but that's only if you want). when you join you get a weekly behind the scenes update from one of us, + a cover/tutorial/song breakdown each week. you get access to 18 demos and unreleased songs we've written and never out out. you get a documentary about us making i see blue, and you get a way to message us directly whenever you want!
most importantly, when we hit 150 patrons we're going to release the 7 fully recorded/mixed songs that didn't make the cut for our debut studio album. if that happens before we release the album you get those first! if not then, ykno, no rush. but that's a mini bears in trees album you wouldn't hear any other way.
i don't think that'll happen over night - we have 96 right now - but if/when it does happen that would be wonderful. if you want to support us then that's probably the best way! but no pressure - everyone has different financial commitments and we're never gonna make anyone feel bad for not supporting us in that way. just being a part of our community - be that on twitter, the discord server, or by commenting n boosting this post is enough. ☀️
our patreon link is here, if you'd like.

Queen live at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand - April 13, 1985
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tumblr media Tumblr media
This outdoor show was Queen's first and only concert in New Zealand. According to an early tour itinerary, two other shows were originally planned (on April 11 at Hawks Bay in Tamoana, and on April 14 at Queen Elizabeth II Park in Christchurch), but this show in Auckland didn't even sell out, which is likely the reason why the band did only a single show in the country. It was initially scheduled to be played at Western Springs Stadium.
Queen were a half hour late going on. After soundcheck Freddie Mercury got very drunk with Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet, sharing entire bottles of vodka and vintage port. Hadley was around only because his band's New Zealand tour dates had been suddenly cancelled while playing in Australia, and later in the evening he would clearly ignore his manager's warning to keep a low profile.
In 2011, Brian May and Roger Taylor recalled the evening in the extras of the Days Of Our Lives documentary. Their intro music (an arrangement of Machines, off The Works album) was already playing and a few people in the backstage area were frantically helping Freddie get into his tights. "You stupid cunts, you've put my tights on back to front!" cried Freddie part way through the proceedings. With the clock ticking, the laces of his boots were untied and his boots came off and the tights were properly put on. Freddie made it to the stage with literally seconds to spare.
After the second song, he shouted, "Hello, New Zealand! We're gonna have one motherfucker of a time!" Both Brian and Roger recall Freddie when started Somebody To Love and forgot what song he was playing. In 2011, Roger added, "The first half hour of the gig was terrifying for the three of us because we were playing like trojans to make up for Freddie's deficiencies." Spike Edney also recalled that Freddie was "ad-libbing, making things up, singing crap" for the first half hour.
Between songs (probably after the medley of old songs), Freddie did his usual falsetto vocal improv and added, "My voice is fucked!" According to a book on Queen, at one point he proclaimed to Hadley who was side stage (into his mic and thus audible to the audience) that he was "pissed."
Before doing Love Of My Life, Brian explained how over the years it had become a tradition for the crowd to join in. However, the song wasn't well known in New Zealand, and even if it were, the locals weren't the public singing type.
Most of the above pictures were taken by Mike Tucker and David Austin, the last of which was taken during Hammer To Fall, which Freddie introduced as, "One for all you heavy metal fans to have a good jerk-off to."
Tony Hadley joined Queen for Jailhouse Rock (as seen in the second picture above). Roger Taylor recalled Tony didn't remember a single word of the song. He apparently ended up singing Tutti Frutti instead. He fondly recalled the day in a 2006 interview. Here's a pro pic taken during this song.

Here are two posters for the show, the second of which indicates the show wasn't yet sold out on the day of:

A video (of indeterminate length) of this show reportedly exists in the archives of a local TV station, but nothing has ever come of the rumours.
The day before the show, the band did an interview for TV.
Fan Stories
“By April in NZ you're well into Autumn, maybe a bit late for an outdoor concert but luckily April 13 was overcast all day without raining. And so it was on this day that Queen played their first and only concert in little ol' NZ to a crowd of 30,000 at Mt. Smart (now Ericsson) stadium. The concert was late starting, Freddie Mercury and Tony Hadley (from Spandau Ballet) got blind drunk before the concert. Few people seemed to notice, although there were a couple of Maori guys in front of me who were laughing like hell when Freddie came on ("Aw man, he is so out of it!!"). Freddie didn't seem to be sparing the four letter words ("Hello New Zealand,we're gonna have one muthaf*****er of a time"). In between songs,Freddie would do his customary vocal excercises, mostly built around the opening notes of "You take my breath away", then dimiss it ("My voice is F*****D!!"). Then later when introducing "Hammer to fall", ("Here's one for all you heavy metal fans to have a good jerk-off to!!"). I heard an interview earlier in the week with the promoter claiming that Queen's set would please both old and new fans. In spite of this I doubted how deep into the back catalogue Queen would go. Imagine my surprise when they dug up a gem from the first album like "Liar". With all the changes in Queen's sound and image in previous years, this song eliminated any doubts I had that this band was in touch with its past. This was one of the last songs I had expected to hear and without a doubt my highlight. For "Love of my life", Brian May explained how over the years it had become a tradition for the crowd to join in. Unfortunately, this song is not as well known here as it is in other parts of the world and besides, NZers are reluctant public singers at the best of times anyway. Freddie's infamous drag act during "I want to break free" was back after it had been unceremoniously ditched earlier that year in Rio. At the end of the song he threw his falsies into the crowd. Tony Hadley joined Queen on stage later on. Spandau Ballet were touring Australia at the time and flew across the Tasman to see Queen. He joined the band for "Jailhouse Rock", I've since heard that he was so drunk that he started singing the first verse to "Tutti-Fruitti" instead (never noticed). The reviews were pretty fair. There were words to the effect that Queen delivered, although it took awhile. Maybe some songs were a mystery to those who had only heard "Greatest Hits", but things really took off in the final third of the show. Almost everybody seemed to be singing along with "Crazy little thing called love", doing the handclap in "Radio Ga-Ga" and swaying to "We are the champions". Roger threw his drumsticks into the crowd at the end of the concert, one has since surfaced. In spite of Freddie's claim to the contary, his voice sounded just fine and no doubt everybody left happy. I, for one, couldn't have asked for more.” - David Austin

“The thing that I always enjoyed the most about One Direction was playing the shows, so my master plan, when I realised I was going to do a solo career, was always my first tour. It’s something I’ve been looking forward to for the best part of five years now. I got so close, I got a taste for it, and it’s affected me like everyone else, but I’m forever an optimist,” he says down the phone, with what I can only imagine to be a rather phlegmatic shrug.
“You know what,” he says, reflecting, “maybe because I’ve had real dark moments in my life, they’ve given me scope for optimism. In the grand scheme of things, of what I’ve experienced, these everyday problems...they don’t seem so bad.”
Sure, I say, but the last year can’t have been easy. Didn’t he feel like his purpose had popped?
“Social media is a ruthless, toxic place, so I don’t like to spend much time there,” says Tomlinson, “but because of experiencing such light and shade all while I was famous, I have a very deep connection with my fans. They’ve always been there for me.”
“Yeah, definitely,” he says. “I’m very, very excited. I had basically penciled down a plan before corona took over our lives. And now it's kind of given me a little bit of time to really get into what I want to say and what I want things to sound like. Because, you know, I was really proud of my first record, but there were moments that I felt were truer to me than others. I think that there were some songs where I took slightly more risk and owned what I love, saying, ‘This is who I want to be’. So I want to take a leaf out of their book.”
“There’s a certain energy in that song, in its delivery, in its attitude, that I want to recreate. People are struggling at the moment, so I want to create a raucous, exciting atmosphere in my live show, not a somber, thoughtful one.”
“You know, because of my story, my album was a little heavy at times and a little somber. And as I'm sure you're aware, from talking to me, now, that isn't who I am.”
“Honestly, it’s part of being from Doncaster as well, I don’t like people feeling sorry for me. That’s the last thing I want.”
“I have interesting things to say musically, but what’s challenging from a writing perspective is that I write from the heart, and I can’t really get into someone else’s story. And right now, being stuck at home, you have so little experience to draw from. It’s actually quite hard to write these positive, uplifting songs, because actually, the experiences that you're going through on a day to day basis, you know, you they don't have that same flavour.”
“It’s remote and kind of weird, and I’m going to go there for three days and write. I don’t know why I’m so drawn to it. I found it via a YouTube video. It’s got some very interesting locals who live there, it’s sort of backwards when it comes to technology. It feels like you’re going back in time when you’re there. But I don’t want to give it away.”
“I grew up on their [Red Hot Chili Peppers] album Bytheway. And during lockdown I've been knee deep in their stuff. I’ve watched every documentary, every video. And I find their lead guitarist John Frusciante just fascinating.”
“I f______ wish,” snorts Tomlinson.
“No, honestly, I think he’s too cool for that. He’s not into that kind of thing.”
“I'm not gonna lie, my process with my imprint through Syco, it became challenging and it became frustrating at times,” Tomlinson says a little wearily. “The kind of artists that I was interested in developing – because I genuinely feel through my experience in One Direction, you know, one of the biggest f______ bands, I feel like I've learned a lot about the industry – they weren’t ready-made. So I had lots of artists that I took through the door that were rough and ready, but major labels want to see something that works straight away. I found that a little bit demotivating. I love her and she's an incredible artist, but not everyone is a Taylor Swift.”
“Because there's no one in that space. And I know eventually if I don't do it, someone else will!”
“I thought you were going to ask something juicier!” say Tomlinson witheringly. “Look, I f______ love One Direction. I'm sure we're going to come back together one day, and I'll be doing a couple of One Direction songs in my gig. I always do that, so that's not alluding to any reunion or anything. But, I mean, look, I'm sure one day we'll get back together, because, you know, we were f______ great.”
“I’ve just watched loads of s___ TV,” he says after a long pause. “The Undoing is decent, isn’t it?”
-Louis speaking about social media, his music, his LA "secret spot", Red Hot Chili Peppers, SYCO, a possible 1D reunion, how he's spending quarantine, and more via Telegraph! (24 November 2020)

Sagittarius Sun is an adventurous soul, they hate to be tied down by anything be it a job, responsibilities, friends, family and especially lovers. To love a Sagittarius is to never fully embrace them, you have to love their willful, adventurous nature. They have many friends in many different social circles, they like the odd array of people they know with different hobbies and likings, this suits them best. In their younger years as a teenager and young adult they could easily have been known as a party animal, at an age of not much personal freedom, partying and drinking gave them a moment's freedom from family, responsibility, and school. They are wild in their youth, chasing their hearts whims without a second thought. They feel their emotions deeply like any other fire sign but rag is especially present in this fire sign, it starts off as a small flicker and quickly builds into a full on dumpster fire, their rage can be messy and violent, braking things is a common outlet, or driving fast. Once a Sagittarius grows older typically they calm down and can better control their anger. Sagittarius make for great teachers, they give life lessons to others through storytelling, and all the stories are true, because they have lived the life lessons they give out. They make mistakes because they are so eager to jump before looking but they think that is half the fun never knowing where they will land, but they are always taking mental notes and improving upon themselves and a situation. They love to learn new things, this sign must always be stimulated physically and mentally they can't just lay a idle, they must be learning something or doing something. Up for some rock climbing? Then after while you let your body rest why not go for a local tour and learn somethings about the culture and town. Sagittarius is always looking for a new joke, they love to laugh and they love to tease. Teasing is their own love language. Sagittarius are rather optimistic and have a blind faith in many people and situations that's why they're so confident that they can just jump into any situation and everything will work out. They have surprisingly good luck so most of the time things go their way, but when things do go awry they have an exceptionally calm attitude and level head and to easily get out of most situations. They get along with almost everyone, but if you want to attract a Sagittarius or catch their interest offer them some interesting facts, they're very curious and always loved learning any new information you can provide them is greatly appreciated and will definitely peak their interest in you.
Gemini Moon is a very knowledgeable, intuitive, and curious individual. They're most happy when they're learning something be it from a book, documentary, surfing the web at 3 a.m. because they just never fell asleep, poor people. they love learning about all different kinds of things about Mayan civilization, aliens, other worlds, physics, and human behaviour. Gemini Moons have a very calming effect on others, they can be soft-spoken and gentle putting others at ease when they are on edge. Unfortunately, many Gemini moons experience anxiety, and stress getting too many sleepless nights and a few existential crisis. Your mind is always working and never wants to shut off, this wears them down and sends them into spirals. Gemini moons are very witty and charismatic finding it very easy to get along with others and to attract people towards them. They tend to have a different collection of friends they don't stick to one specific group they get along well with a lot of people almost anyone who mentally stimulates them is considered a friend. As I mentioned before Gemini moons have a tendency to overthink, they also have a tendency to talk a lot, and read a fair amount. They're generally well-informed and can go on quite a bit of a few tanjuns but most people around them enjoy these long-winded explanations in philosophical moments hanging onto every word the lunar Gemini has to say. They're not big fans of chores, their tastes always change so their home is in a constant state of in progress. their house can be a bit messy from the neglect of chores, but they call it home they feel comfortable in the disorganization. Lunar Gemini's are we and sociable, fun and easy to pick up a conversation with a complete stranger to pass the time. When irritated or upset this usually friendly whitty do you sign can become snappy, and impatient, using their silver tongue to cut through even the toughest of skin.
Pisces Rising is a kind, perspective, and lost looking individual. And their younger days they often struggled I was feeling like they didn't belong, feeling different, and trying to understand why they felt as if the world was multi-dimensional. The experience spirital things a bit deeper than others, often feeling drawn to the unexplained, and Mystikal. Artistic by nature and a little bit of an oddball they follow the beat of their own drum, it's hard to tie a Pisces Rising down there is fluid as water, and very hard to control. Almost constantly in a rebellious stage they tend to enjoy body art, piercings, darker fashion, and colourful hair. Mini mistake a Pisces for being a soft child, but many with a Pisces in their chart realize that Pisces is more like a spiritually mature teenager. They act on their whims, feeling the greatest satisfaction from fulfilling their own needs. They are kind and caring soul, often to a fault. Having a hard time saying no to giving to a charity, always helping out whenever they can, we're even going out of their way to pick something up for somebody they they enjoy doing Small deeds no matter how small it fills them with a self of accomplishment, and most believe even just subconsciously one good act can make a difference to somebody. Very artistic you need a source for an outlet comedy writing, poetry, singing, painting anyting. Pisces Rising has a lot swirling in their mind and then their hearts that's why a group of supportive friends and family are almost imperative for the sign to make heads or tails of their emotions and thoughts. Many people are just drawn to a Pisces Rising, they're soft and caring nature pull many towards them.

"The voice you're hearing is Richard Kiley. We spared no expense."
Remember that line from Jurassic Park, when they're getting into the Jeeps for the dino tour? Remember wondering who Richard Kylie is, and why his voice work was so expensive? Well, this is a story about my daughter, Jurassic Park, and David Attenborough...
My daughter has always had an intense interest in life sciences: biology, geology, archeology, Paleontology, etc... I try to encourage this, because, "Yay Science!" She has a big collection of rocks, minerals, fossils, and any kind of field guide she can get her hands on. She likes learning about animals and plants. She's also four, so sometimes this interest manifests in strange ways.
She also has eclectic, and somewhat random taste in movies and television. She loves musicals, animal movies, and adventure movies with kids in them from the 80s. Some favorites? Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Doctor Dolittle (1967), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Beethoven, Goonies, The Sandlot, Jumanji, Jaws, The Princess Bride, and Tremors. Her absolute favorite movie is Jurassic Park. Now you might think that some of these are a bit scary for a four-year-old (actually she was 3 the first time she watched most of these) and you might be right, but she doesn't seem to notice. Except for Labyrinth, which is one of my personal favorites, and she thinks is absolutely TERRIFYING.
I was a little hesitant to let her watch Jaws the first time, actually, because my parents live on a lake (we're in Minnesota-- a lot of people live on lakes) and I was worried that she'd be afraid to go in the water. She wanted to watch it so badly, and I had this long conversation ready about the difference between freshwater and saltwater. I was ready to look up facts about shark attacks, and whatever other information she would need to assuage her fears. None of this turned out to be neccessary... she looked at me with wide eyes after the shark was exploded, and asked, "why did that mean woman hurt the shark?" (Context: my daughter calls all adults "woman", regardless of correction or preferred pronouns. She's four, and also gives random genders to our pets. Including our dog, Toby, who is both a boy and a girl, according to her. She isn't a progressive activist, or anything, she's just four.)
What does all of this have to do with Jurassic Park and David Attenborough? I'm getting there...
So, she likes animals, obviously. Television nature programs are the go-to for when I need a bit of peace and quiet to get things done. Right? Well... sort of. She loves Wild America. Marty Stouffer is her hero. (He has a beard!) There are a few other shows that get some regular play time, but we don't branch out a whole lot. We have to be careful. Why, you ask? There's all kinds of great animal documentaries out there, why limit yourself?
Well, because my daughter HATES David Attenborough.
I have no idea why. I assume that she just doesn't like his voice, but when I ask her, she just says, "I just don't like that guy." (She does use "guy" for both genders, just never "man")
Anyway, you can see how this might limit our options when it comes to nature documentaries-- since David Attenborough presents, well, ALL OF THEM.
What does that have to do with Jurassic Park?
John Hammond (you know the crazy, rich guy, who thought it was a good idea to make a theme park filled with carnivorous dinosaurs) is played by Richard Attenborough. That's right, David Attenborough's big brother. And, he's her favorite character. She LOVES Richard Attenborough. I mean, she's four, as far as she understands it, he's a guy with a cool beard and a magic mosquito cane that he used to make DINOSAURS! He's obviously the coolest woman ever.
He was also in Doctor Dolittle-- where he runs a circus and sings an awesome song about a push-me-pull-you, so Richard Attenborough can do no wrong in her book.
So, back to the Jeeps and Richard Kylie, and the reason I suddenly burst out laughing last night when we were watching Jurassic Park for the thousandth time. In the book, it was Richard Kylie narrating the safari tour also, but really if you're going to hire someone to narrate your fancy zoo tour, and you're "sparing no expense" your go-to-guy has to be David Attenborough, right?
I like to think that Richard Attenborough had a lot of fun with that line. Like, "Take that, bro. I'm getting Richard Kylie instead. Go trudge around the Galapagos. That's as close as you're getting to reptiles of unusual size."
So, anyway, that one seemingly random line, that is maybe a little bit of an inside joke, saved my daughter's favorite movie.
Because, if David Attenborough had narrated the tour in the Jeeps, I have no idea what would have happened. My daughter's brain would probably implode when the positively charged Attenborough collided with the negatively charged Attenborough.
