Loyalty - Marcel Gerard
Summary: With Mystic Falls out of sight and New Orleans in view, you decide to make friends with the locals. Helpful when said friend turns out to be the King
Warnings: M/M smut (21+), Bareback (Wrap Before you Tap!)

When you all arrived at the Mikaelson’s old kingdom, it was nearing lunchtime, so you expected the streets would be empty, however New Orleans was bustling with activity, whether people were visiting shops, eating at café’s or painting in the streets. You winded your way through the French Quarter “Klaus, where are we going?” You asked “The King’s Quarters, I hope they are hospitable to their original king” Klaus explained. Eventually the group reached a courtyard “Hello! Anyone there? The conquering hero returns!” Kol rolled his eyes “Niklaus, no ones here, you can stop hamming it up.” “Look who’s talking!” Tyler snapped back “Guys! We’ve all had a long night, we don’t need to be at each others throats.” You said “Look if we split up & try to find supernatural elements, maybe we’ll find the king in the quarter, “Stefan, you have the biggest chance of draining someone, so I need you to mind our bags, if something happens, we’ll call you to help, everyone else, move out!” With the plan in order Klaus took Rebekah, Elijah escorted a still grumpy Tyler & Kol, and you moved out by yourself, armed with the various detection skills you learnt from The Council & Klaus.
As you wondered the streets for a while, you came across a karaoke bar. Deciding to give it a shot/break, you headed into the roarcus crowd, which mainly consisted of women, which you understood once you glanced to the stage. A beautiful man was performing ‘How You Like Me Now?’ He was dark skinned, had the brightest smile you had ever seen & such a great energy, you found yourself entranced by the man, eventually he saw you & flashed a very flirty wink and a grin in your direction which melted you, how you wanted him to fuck you, then Klaus might turn him so he could be in this open relationship you & Klaus had. Eventually he finished his number & went over to get a drink, you hastened over while the women went back to their business “Sir, excuse me” the man turned “Hello sweet thing, I saw you in the crowd. Here for an autograph? Or something else maybe?” He was very forward but had such a swaveness that you couldn’t be flustered, he let you answer his questions. “Maybe another time, I’m new in town and I needed some help around.” “Sure thing Mr.” “Y/N.” “Well Mr. Y/N I’m Marcel Gerard and something tells me I shouldn’t keep a gentleman like you waiting.” He gulfed his drink down and led you out.
You spent a good time with this new man, as you walked through the Quarter, getting a good idea of where everything was “Thanks Marcel for all the help, but I need to ask you about The King’s Quarters.” He stopped “What? There is no King’s Quarters in New-“ “Look Marcel, your charming to get me to shake me off your back, but I see the daylight ring on your finger, the crescent of the Mikaelson’s is old and faded to blend in with the public, but it’s still there.” Marcel grinned “Well ain’t you clever babe.” “Well after all this is settled maybe you can call me more than babe, but until then, I need to know where the King of New Orleans is.” Marcel let out a gutteral laugh “Baby boy, you’re looking right at him.” You smiled “Thank you, your grace, let’s walk and talk my situation.” You messaged Klaus on the way over ‘I found him, get back to King’s Quarters, also he’s very flirty, do with that what you will’
You crossed back to the King’s Quarters & found the entire group waiting. Marcel crossed over, locking eyes with the hybrid “Klaus” “Marcel” he responded “Wait, THE Marcel?” Klaus had told you about him, the only vampire he ever made, the one he though Mikael had slaughtered. Marcel grinned “This one you have Klaus, he’s smart, don’t let him go.” Klaus smirks “Wasn’t planning on it, never will.” “Been a long time roughly a hundred years since papa ran you out of town.” Your eyes widened, this was not a good way to start a conversation “Yes he did, recently I turned daddy into dust with Tyler’s help, so that takes care of the hunting issue.” Tyler beamed happily which Marcel noticed “You made your own loyal hybrids.” “My fellow creatures, with the help of Y/N. So I’m no longer the lonely King you knew, now I’m a fully fledged hybrid.” Marcel stood to ponder this “If I had known you were back, I’d have thrown you a damn parade.” Marcel broke into a happy laugh which Klaus reciprocated and the two hugged “Well, I guess I owe my sire a drink.” “Amongst other things” Marcel grinned at Klaus’s proposition “Head upstairs the dining room is the ending room on the left” you turned to Kol & Stefan “You two need to handle our bags, I still need to calm you down Kol.” “No matter sweetheart, I have to get ready for a date anyway.” You spluttered “You didn’t comepl a townsperson did you?” Tyler silently laughed not wanting to erk Kol’s wrath “No, I’m capable of making men want me online without having to do some eye magic.” grinning as you turned, you went into Marcel’s pad. A dining room/kitchen was presented, with a long hallway, connecting the bedrooms & the study room. Extremely tired following a long drive & the attempts to find Marcel, you picked a far off room, had Tyler drop your bags in before you yourself dropped off.
After what felt like a blissful sleep, you woke up to the sounds of men shouting: Klaus and Marcel. Agitated, you flapped a pillow over your ears, but couldn’t block it out. Eventually you heard distinctly Elijah, trying to get them to calm down. Once both raised their tones to Elijah, you realised they weren’t being happily rowdy, they were arguing. You stood up, exited your room, not caring your hair was tossled & stomped up to the dining room “Guys, I can hear you screaming down the hallway, what’s going on?” “Marcel is being difficult” Klaus started “Difficult? It wouldn’t be if what you were asking wasn’t public suicide!” Marcel retaliated “So given none of you want to be direct, Elijah will you explain?” “Gladly” Elijah returned to you “Klaus was King of New Orleans and given he was chased out by Mikael, thinks he deserves his throne back, as it would give us protection against Esther if she retaliates, however Marcel has been ruling since he left and won’t give it up.” Now everything made sense “Key word: IF.” Marcel responded “Also there’s protection on the Quarter.” “Not enough if we were able to get in easily.” Marcel brushed this off, “You avoided your authority since you left, why should I even give you the throne back?” “Because I was forced out against my will, I never abdicated, I wanted to return but I had to deal with Mikael and my hybrids.” “There is an entire legacy left by me, how could you ever master it in a day.” “I would master it in less & need I remind you Marcellus, I also have a legacy, all aligning these rooms, even standing before me, however this tapestry of it is showing it’s maker clear disrespect.” “How dare you! You may be my maker but here in New Orleans, I am your king & I demand respect!” Klaus & Marcel’s voices had continued to rise throughout their exchange so they didn’t notice yours bellowing “FOR FUCK’S SAKE, BOTH OF YOU STOP!” You yelled. Klaus & Marcel taken aback, fell silent “Thank you! Now Klaus, we can do this discussion without it turning into screaming, you’ve done it with me. Marcel, a bit of thinking could help everything. Technically Klaus did not abdicate, whenever a leader goes off to a war or on a visit somewhere, they don’t suddenly abdicate, so Klaus should be king, now he has returned.” Klaus grinned but you shot him a warning look, causing it to fall “Now, no one is trying to discount what you have done Marcel, you took something that burnt & made it incredible, however Klaus returning to power means massive protection and Marcel, if your guests are protected here, then why were we able to walk straight in?” Marcel’s slight smile when you complimented his legacy fell at this. “Now, you supernatural’s can process things fast, but for me it’s been less than a full day then when we started running from Mystic Falls, my own home for 22 years! And I have put up with it and not complained, but instead of respect, I’m met with men having a cock fight over something that could be resolved if you weren’t shoving sticks up your ass! Elijah moderate this damn conversation, I’m leaving. And do not call me back unless you have reached a fucking agreement!” You stormed away from the compound, out into the New Orleans night.
You spent a good deal of time looking around, you had purchased a nice set of beads from a trinket shop, and had looked around at the paintings of art. Whilst there you met a woman named Cami, who took you to one of the restaurants and without mentioning everything, you gave her a rundown of what was occurring “Well your partner should know that Marcel is incredibly stubborn. He won’t stop till he gets his way.” “Well that’s marvellous to me!” You said very sarcastically, Cami noticing gave you a hug “I’m sure it’ll work out.” At that exact moment, Elijah went through the door & walked up to you, taking you aside “Klaus & Marcel have worked things out, they are waiting for you at the King’s Quarters.” You nodded, said your goodbyes to Cami and walked back with Elijah. You entered the King’s Quarters and saw Klaus & Marcel sitting together at the table ‘At least they’re sitting together with no sign of a scuffle’ you thought. Elijah excused himself as you sat down “So? What’s the decision” Marcel cleared his throat “Klaus is the king, he’ll have a time of growing into the role, as I’ll help him get used to the supernatural community and how things are run. I’ll stay on as a Vampire advisor.” “See! That wasn’t so hard was it!” You chimed in “I could see how you’d think that, but you know of my history right, how I turned” you nodded “You were 21 years old, a new life on the horizon & you were attacked by a racist. Klaus saved you, and aware you could be struck down by the local racist group, turned you and gave you the skills to take them out.” “Exactly, I’m not the guy to run off from a fight, so me doing this is difficult and rare.” You nodded “It’s a great thing you’re doing Marcel, and we’ll make sure you are still given the respect you deserve.” Marcel subtly grinned while laughing ‘Well, I know you will.” “And what’s that supposed to mean?” You asked.
“Love, there is still a condition that this deal was struck on.” You turned to Klaus as he made his statement “And what was that?” “Marcel wants in on our open relationship.” You turned to Marcel “Yeah, that’s what swayed me, you see I could smell your arousal as you watched me perform and that made my cock hard, if you hadn’t gotten me to take you around, I would have pulled you into the bathroom & fucked you. I also liked how you swung me round when I was arguing with Klaus, you have guts, I can see why my sire likes you. And now, I want to have you as well. So what’s it gonna be, take it or leave it?” He whispered the last part in your ear “You said you were the king, show me that power. Make my mind up for me.” Marcel threw you both onto the table & kissed you, speedily taking both your clothes off “You want Some hot chocolate babe?” “Yes sir, I want every drop.” He grinned “Then suck my cock.” He moved upwards to your mouth as you sucked his cock “Oh fuck!” Marcel moaned “Yeah, like that, suck it down.” As Marcel got his cock sucked by you, he looked forwards to see Klaus stroking himself, his portege and his lover engaged with each other had made him painfully hard. Marcel pulled himself off you & lifted you up to see Klaus “Look what you do to him! The big string hybrid, stroking his cock for you, for us!” You kissed Marcel again, running your hands down his muscular chest “Fuck, you’re so beautiful!” You moaned, Marcel grinned “Well, gotta make my man happy.” You sucked his balls, causing Marcel to throw his head back and scream out “OH FUCK YES! THAT’S IT Y/N! KEEP GOING & YOU’LL MAKE ME CUM!” You pulled off, and heard Marcel whine “Shoot your load in my ass Marcel, I want you.” Marcel’s whine turned into excitement, he grinned before slamming you onto the table before thrusting in.
You let out a massive groan, he was massive, probably as big as Klaus. You set a nice rhythm with Marcel spinning his hips, smacking into your prostate. “Oh fuck!” You moaned out “That’s it baby, fall apart from my dick!” Marcel groaned in such a passionate beautiful way, you leant up to kiss him. “You look so beautiful Marcel.” He grinned “You are as well, look at you, all covered in sweat, gleaming as much as me.” Marcel suddenly changed to vampire speed, making you cry out as you were brought nearly to your end, when he suddenly returned to normal speed “What the?-” you started but Marcel placed his index finger on your lips “Nah uh Y/N, remember you wanted me to show you how I can be King, and this King is benevolent, he wants you to come with him, and I’m nowhere near done.” He shot a grin, pearly white teeth agleam and continued his torturous pace. Your toes curled from how good Marcel was dicking you down, and you clenched them around the table for a grip. Sensing your tenseness from his powerful thrusts, Marcel grinned down at you and persisted relentlessly "Fuck:, he groaned out, throwing his head back, when he turned back down, you saw the familiar black veins under his eyes, he wanted to feed. "Sorry Y/N, you smell mouth-watering, I've gotta have you." he said, lowering himself down to your neck, "Then take me" you softly cooed, turning your head to the side, granting him better access. Marcel did not waste time and struck, drinking you down deeply as he continued to fuck you. The strength of Marcel's pace and his and soon you noticed you were approaching your end “Fuck Marcel, I’m gonna cum!”, the vampire withdrawing from your neck, a trail of blood oozing from his mouth “That’s right Y/N, cum for me, shoot it over me.” You moaned as you did as he asked, shooting your load over his chest, he scooped it up & tasted it “Damn, your load is as good as your blood!” He kissed you, both of you now covered in blood and seed as Marcel resumed his brutal pace, making you cry out even more as Marcel bucked, determined to reach his peak as well. “Oh fuck, I’m gonna cum! OH FUCK YES!” Marcel yelled as he shot his load inside you. Falling back onto the table, you both drew in breath, Marcel leaning down to kiss you “My king, he’s all yours.” He zipped up to his wide open room, this time the observer and watched the hybrid walk over to you “Well love, when you get your strength back, want to break the table?” You grinned, leaning up to kiss the hybrid.

Day 3 - you are under mistletoe. So stop stalling and kiss
Grace never felt like she belonged in Mystic Falls.
There, everything was about Elena Gilbert and she was sure that if she tried to stay there she'd end up like her parents. Damon didn't care what happened to her in the slightest and Stefan already proved it once that if he had to choose between her and Elena, it will always be Elena. So she moved to New Orleans. She just hasn't expected to get into so many problems here. Especially not with the Mikalesons. But unlike Damon and Stefan, the Mikalesons actually showed how much they considered her a part of their family. It wasn't just some words and then doing the exact opposite. They were her family and she was theirs.
And now with the latest 'totally-klaus'-fault-but-we-don't-say-it' they finally get to relax and just in time for Christmas.
She saw baby Hope with Hayley and Jackson, Elijah was whispering with Freya, she had no idea were Klaus was but she imagined somewhere with Cami and she smiled. The brave bartender was a good influence for him.
"What'cha thinking about?" Kol's warm voice asked as he hugged her waist from behind.
"I'm happy," she answered, leaning into him, Kol's arms hugged her thighter."Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Me too."
"You are under the mistletoe," Rebekah said suddenly "so stop stalling and kiss."
Both of them looked up to see that she was right. Above them was the familiar berries that Caroline used to decorate every inch of the house.
"I guess, rules are rules."
Grace raised an eyebrow at that."Have you ever followed any rules. Without being threatened? Like ever?"
He smiled at her. That devilishly smile that made her fall for him, the one were its reserved only for the times he is about to say something incredibly stupid. "Well, I'll have you know, darling -"
Whatever he wanted to say was cut by her lips o his. He tasted like champagne and the little chocolate cookies that Mary send her with Jackson. But she could also taste something that was just Kol. And she loved it. She let herself forget and pretend that its just the two of them there.
Them against the world.

LOVE FOR ETERNITY - PART 32
MASTERLIST
PART 32: | DANCE QUEEN |
・ • ・ • ・
There are objects of affection
That can mesmerize the soul.
There is always one addiction
That just can not be controlled.
You are mine, all mine, you are mine.

AMSTERDAM
More than a month ago Rebekah told them that Klaus left for New Orleans and that he finally believed them when he saw Marcel with his own eyes. Now he is trying to get his city back and become a king again, just as Kol and Natali expected. And Elijah was also with him, still trying to lead him down the right path.
Kol woke up, eyes getting used to the surroundings around him. In a haze, he glanced at his girlfriend beside him in this fancy hotel room they were currently residing in and another dead girl from last night snack, lying on the edge of the bed.
He sat up in the bed, eyes turning toward Natali as she too began to wake up. Kol watched as her eyes started to come back to life.
 - “Hey. Darling..”, Kol smiled at her lazily. “You wanna go for another round?” His hand trailed down her chest.
 - “What? No, not really, let me sleep.” Natali mumbled in a sleepy voice, while she pushed his hand away in the space between them.
 - “Come on, love. Last night was spectacular.” Kol strung out the last word for effect.
 - “You’re right. Having all that drugs and alcohol in me made it amazing and if I’m mundane I would probably be dead, so let me sleep until all of it is out of my system.” Natali told him, turning herself on the stomach.
 - “What a better way to get it out of your system then to have more fun?” Kol questioned, devilish smirk appearing on his face as he watched her naked body in front of him.
 - “God. Do you ever get tired.” Natali remarked briskly.
 - “I don’t.” Kol replied, seeing that she already fall back to sleep.
He learned better than to wake her up when she wants to sleep after not having sex for almost a week so he let her to sleep this off. He still wasn’t sure how she managed to resist him, but she did.
⚜ ✡ ⚜ ✡ ⚜ ✡
Kol and Natali were walking through the streets of Amsterdam, enjoying the summer weather that Netherlands city was experiencing. During the day Amsterdam was completely different to what Kol had seen at night. It was strange - even though he had set foot on the same path just a night ago. The glowing, neon lights that screamed sex were gone, replaced by the sun, which made everything look clean and bright.
Natali also liked Amsterdam, this of course wasn’t her first time here. She liked the canals, liked the small streets leading to who knew where and most of all she liked the people, of better say how they taste.
Natali paused for a second, her foot halfway in the air. Then she took a step back.
 - She took a better look at the inside of one bar they just came upon, “Is that Rebekah?” she asked, seeing a blonde girl in the distance that looked a lot like Rebekah.
Kol’s gaze looked at the same direction as hers and instantly with a grab of her hand he confirmed that in fact it was Rebekah. He opened the door of the bar and they walked in, holding hands tangled together.
Kol eyes glanced over the people at the bar, before they headed towards Rebekah. When they were few feet away they saw that she wasn't alone, Matt Donovan was sitting across from her and they seemed like they just finished their drinks. The two of them stood up from their table just when Natali and Kol came.
 - “Sister, fancy seeing you here.” Kol remarked looking at his sister with an amused smirk on his face.
 - “Kol.” Rebekah exhaled, looking at her brother.
 - “Why didn't you tell us you will come here?” Kol asked her.
 - “I don’t need to inform you where I’m going.” Rebekah replied grumpy.
 - Kol chuckled looking down for a brief moment, “I mean you probably saw on social medias that we are here. But you didn’t called us to hang out.” he told her.
 - Rebekah rolled her eyes, “I did saw. And I didn't expect to came upon you two in this big city.” he spoke quickly.
 - “Ouch Rebekah.” Kol laughs, “We’re not that bad company.”
 - “I’m just still annoyed by you.” Rebekah replies.
 - “We should go.” Matt dares to speak, when he noticed that Kol might change his mood. He takes Rebekah’s hand to drag her away, but he was stopped when suddenly Kol violently smashed a bottle on the edge of a table and holds up the jagged remnant in his hand. The two of them jumped in fright. Rebekah knew how dangerous Kol can be when he is becomes angry. He becomes unpredictable.
 - “You’re not going anywhere.” Kol replies, then he smirks at his sister, “I see you finally got the quarterback to pay attention to you.”
 - “Kol please, don’t make a scene.” Rebekah snapped at her brother.
 - “It makes me angry that you can't get over the fact that you won't have a cure.” Kol shot back, “Not to mention ignoring my texts. We were just trying to protect you, like we always do.”
 - Rebekah shakes her head, “I don’t want to talk about it now.” she told him firmly.
Kol nodded, smiling bitterly.
 - Then he turned his attention towards Matt, “How's the throwing arm, champ?” he asked, before he threw the broken bottle at Matt’s shoulder.
Matt groans in pain, bringing his hand up towards the broken bottle.
 - “Kol!” Rebekah screamed, “Don’t ask me ever again why I don't want to forgive you.” she told him.
 - “You care more about this pathetic human than me.” Kol snarled.
Natali exhaled a deep breath. If she knew he would snap like this, she would never mention that she saw Rebekah.
 - “Personally I think he is just using you, like very other men you ever fell in love with.” Kol continued, his glare fixed on Rebekah.
 - Rebekah shoot him an angry look, “You’re unbelievable.” she hissed.
Then Rebekah and Matt left, Kol wanted to go after them, but Natali stopped him not wanting to make his sister even more mad. She knew how much Kol is upset because Rebekah doesn't want to forgive him as easily as she forgives Klaus. So it’s best if he doesn't piss her off even more than he already did.
The two of them stayed at the bar. They ordered drinks and were sitting in silence, until they didn’t heard an unfamiliar voice behind them saying, “Whether my eyes are deceiving me or you’re really the infamous queen of Saint Tropez? “
 - They both turned to look at the guy behind them, “And who are you supposed to be..?” Natali questioned, raising her eyebrow.
 - Guy smiled slightly, “No one. I just wanted to say I enjoyed watching you dance in that club called “Eternal Night” he told her, remembering that night.
 - “What?” Kol suddenly burst out, Is that what you were doing while I saw in the box?” Having other guys watch you dance? he questioned, becoming angry again.
 - Natali sighed and ignored him so she can get rid of the guy who just ruined her night, “How is that you’re alive? We kill every human that takes a step into that club?”
 - “Well apparently I had some vampire blood in my system.” The guy told her.
 - “Are you even listening to me?” Kol asked, a bit louder.
 - Natali looked at him, “Yes, they watch me dance, but we also kill everyone. This one is just an exception since he became a vampire.” she told him.
 - “Then I think I should kill him.” Kol spoke, standing up from his bar chair.
This was just the thing he needed after seeing Rebekah with Matt, who he despised as much as the rest of the Mystic Falls gang.
 - The guy backed away, “I-I don’t want any trouble.” his voice was shaky.
 - “And I don’t want guys hitting on my girl.” Kol told him dangerously.
 - “I didn’t realized that you two are together.” The guy spoke quickly.
 - “Well we are, mate.” Kol tells him, grabbing onto the collar of his t-shirt.
And a moment later Kol had chucked the man across the bar. He hit a far wall before falling to the floor.
Before he stood up from the ground Kol zoomed towards him and plunged his hand into his chest, grabbing a hold of his heart.
 - “Please, do-” The guys opened his mouth to speak, but he was cut off as Kol ripped his heart out of his chest. He dropped the heart onto the floor and heard Natali’s voice behind him, “Could you be more jealous?”
 - Kol turned towards her, smirking he said, “You didn’t dance for me for a long time.” he reminded her, “Maybe you could redeem for allowing others to watch you dance while I’m not around to kill every one of them.”
 - Natali grinned, “It would be my pleasure.” she told him seductively and bit her lower lip slowly on a naughty grin.
⚜ ✡ ⚜ ✡ ⚜ ✡
As they walked into their hotel room, Natali pushed Kol onto the sofa. Then walked towards her laptop to find a song she can dance to. She pressed a play button and the song “Meg Myers - Desire (Hucci Remix)” began.
Tumblr media
Feeling the music she closed her eyes and brought her hands up, touching her hair. She started out slow, swaying her hips.
Feeling the music she closed her eyes and brought her hands up, touching her hair. She started out slow, swaying her hips.
When she looked at him her eyes slanted with a glint of evil and seduction. She walked up to him and started dancing in front of him, almost but not quite between his knees. Everything she did was mesmerizing. Kol watched as she danced her dance with a smirk at his ‘excitement’.
・ • ・ • ・
I wanna feel YOU, I want it ALL.
I wanna feel YOU, I want it ALL.
I want it ALL,
I want it ALL.
・ • ・ • ・
Kol planted his hands on her tights and vowed to keep them there. She didn't just dance, she undulated, upper torso moving in the opposite direction to her gently swaying hips.
Her arms reached teasingly towards him, fingers moving as if to wave through his hair, almost but not quite touching him. He held his breath, hoping, but then she backed off a step.
・ • ・ • ・
Baby, I want to touch you,
I wanna breathe into your will.
・ • ・ • ・
Then started dancing again, eyes half closed as if she heard some mysterious inner rhythm more seductive than the song that was  playing in the back of the room with a bit of a dark vibe. Those endless legs, arched to a beautiful shape by her high heels, begged for the touch of his hands. She was supple as silk, he could see it, yet warm, soft and living. Carved exactly where she should be. Her nipples trust provocatively under her t-shirt at him, as she shimmied, moving closer and closer.
・ • ・ • ・
See, I gotta to hunt you,
I gotta to bring you to my hell.
・ • ・ • ・
And then she was right in front of him again, just inches apart. She moved herself onto his lap and slowly in the rhythm with the sexy tempo she was brushing herself against him.
It took every ounce of willpower he had, but he managed not to touch her. He loved when she leads the foreplay.
・ • ・ • ・
Baby, I wanna fuck you, I wanna feel you in my bones.
・ • ・ • ・
She rubbed herself against him, letting him feel the soft warmth of her breaths and then moved away again, dancing lazily while they watched each other in the dim light. He looked at her with a hunger flashing through his eyes and she smiled devilishly at him.
Kol gestured for her to come closer, but she shook her head with a half smile, before reaching her hands behind her back so she can unzip her skirt. He blinked as he watched her skirt hitting the ground.
・ • ・ • ・
Boy, I'm gonna love you, I’m gonna tear into your soul.
・ • ・ • ・
Few seconds later she walked back towards him. She placed her palms on the sides of his neck and straddled his hips on her knees to sit on his lap. She leaned forward and with the tip of her tongue she licked the spot on his neck just below the ear - the moist sensation making him aching for more.
・ • ・ • ・
Desire, I'm hungry, I hope you feed me.
・ • ・ • ・
She heard him suck his breath in and he reached with his hand for her shirt, but she pushed them down placing them onto her hips. Kol slid his hands lower and squeezed her butt, the pads of his fingers stroking along the hem of her panties and and she let out a soft moan into his ear.
・ • ・ • ・
How do you want me, how do you want me?
・ • ・ • ・
Natali lowered herself fully onto his lap and immediately felt his hardness. The heat that met her, made her ache. So hard.. she rubbed herself against him to ease it. Their eyes met, ablaze.
When their lips jointed, it was as if they were on fire. They kissed hard, as she slid her hands  under his t-shirt, exploring his perfectly shaped abs. Kol could feel the firmness and warmth of her breasts against his chest.
・ • ・ • ・
How do you want me, how do you want me?
・ • ・ • ・
She tugged on his t-shirt and breaking the kiss she pulled it over his head. Then she kissed down to his jaw and then onto his neck, teasing him with brief sweep of her mouth. Kol tipped his head back and stifled a groan. She gazed her finger over the other side of his neck and then buried them into his hair. His groan escaped him this time, the feel of her nails against his scalp.. too good to contain. She sighed, her breath skimming hotly over his throat, and continued to kiss and suck it, driving him wild with the desire to feel her fangs pressing into his flesh. Knowing exactly what he wants, she bit his neck. The familiar taste of his blood washed into her mouth. At the same time, she ran her flat hand firmly down his chest and abs to the buckle of his jeans. She cupped the bulging denim pushing out the zip.
・ • ・ • ・
Boy, I wanna taste you, I wanna skin you with my tongue.
・ • ・ • ・
Suddenly she was standing in front of him again, bringing him back to reality for a brief moment, before she took off his jeans in one quick movement and leaned forward kissing him with feather light kisses down his chest as she slowly dropped her knees onto the floor. She gently kissed his stomach as she slipped her hands around his waist and pulled his down the sofa slightly. She gently kissed his stomach again, her hot breath against his skin making him moan louder. She gently, partly removed his boxers to reveal him underneath. He moaned heavily, as she ran the tip of her tongue up the length of him then took him in her mouth. She sucked gently, as he threw his head back and writhed with ecstasy. She held him tighter in her hand and sucked a little harder. She took the entire length of the enlarged shaft into her sensual mouth, holding it a moment before sucking it, then forcefully running her tongue over it, in turns. He was trembling all over in pleasure, his breath uneven as sweat stood out over his entire body. She was bringing him closer and closer to his much needed release. But as he was near the edge of his completion, she slowed down the licking and sucking, cruelly drawing out in pleasure and finally removed his shaft completely from her mouth.
・ • ・ • ・
I wanna feel YOU, I want it ALL.
I wanna feel YOU, I want it ALL.
・ • ・ • ・
Kol’s eyes had been closed in ecstasy but now he opened them, giving her a pleading look. Then he grabbed her chin and pulled her to be the same face level with him before hungrily capturing her mouth with his, tearing her panties from her body with one hand and ripping his nails into her back with other.
She straddled his hips again and took his cock in her hand and guided him in - both of them letting out a loud moan as she pushed down on him. They kissed passionately as she moved slowly to begin with, almost tesing him with her hot flesh. Kol finally got a chance to take off the last piece of clothes off of her body and then ran his fingertips over her nipples, she gasped and pushed a little harder.
・ • ・ • ・
DESIRE, I'm hungry I hope you feed me.
・ • ・ • ・
He leaned forward and teased her nipples with his tongue. She moaned and bit into her lip, before she felt his fangs bit into her breast, just above her nipple. She arched her back, letting out a moan as overwhelming pleasure swept over her. He kept her in a tight hold as his tongue laved her nipple while he drew on her blood.
Kol growled as her hands curled into his hair. He ran his hands up her back to her shoulders and dug his nails in deep, pulling her down harder and faster. Then released his bite on her breast and lifted his head to meet her gaze. Leaning closer to her, his mouth brushed over hers as he spoke; Cum for me, darling.
・ • ・ • ・
I wanna feel YOU, I want it ALL. I wanna feel YOU, I want it ALL.
・ • ・ • ・
Natali nodded slightly, almost not noticeable. Just a moment later Kol kissed her deeply as he started rapidly thrusting into her. She dug her nails into his shoulder as he pushed her over the edge, then broke the kiss letting out one last moan. Once more he pulled her down hard on him, as they both exploded with ecstasy.
Natali placed her head onto his shoulder and they held each other tight as they both caught their breath.
 - Kol slowly and gently moved her hair behind her ear, then whispered in a husky voice, “You’re the best, darling.”
 - Smile swept over Natali’s face, “I know, love.” she paused and chuckled; And besides you don't know about the others, since we been together for eight hundred and sixty years.
Kol chuckled lightly and as he didn't say anything right away Natali pushed herself  against his chest, “You haven't been with another woman, have you?” she asked looking straight into his cheerful eyes.
 - “No, darling.” Kol shook his head quickly answering, “Why would you even think that?”
 - “Just checking.” Natali replied dryly.
 - “But you have.” Kol spoke and she narrowed her eyes at him, “You’ve been with other guys while I was in the box.”
 - Natali bit the inside of her cheek, before looking down, “Well I’m going to get a shower now.” she told him changing the subject. Knowing that it won't lead to anything good, “Are you coming?” She asked him as she lifted herself up.
 - Kol grabbed her hand and pulled her back onto him, “You’re changing the subject.” he stated.
 - “I don't want to fight with you, because of some stupid things.” Natali told him firmly, trying to stand up again, but he didn't let her.
 - “It’s not a stupid thing, but okay I understand.” Kol spoke, moving his hands up and down her back.
 - Natali quirked her eyebrow, “You do?”
 - “Yes. I would do the same if you were in a box for three hundred years.” Kol told her.
 - Natali felt hurt in that moment, probably less then Kol was, but she kept a straight face, not showing it, “Well now that we discussed that, let’s get a shower.” she told him briefly and when he loosened his tight grip on her she pulled him towards the bathroom.

//requested by @oneshot-obssessed  : CAN I GET A UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH PART 3 TO THE KOL BREAKUP? BONDING WITH THE OTHER SIBLINGS//
//warnings: swearing idk. I write these warnings ahead of time and forget to change them so I never know what’s gonna happen//
Part Two
I waited on the roof, my feet dangling over the ledge. In the front room of the Salvatore House, Hope Mikaelson was saving her family. She was a legend, an icon, the best damn witch I had ever seen.
The Mikaelsons were soon to be free of the Hollow. I wasn’t sure how Hope figured out, but she’s a Mikaelson witch. Of course she was able to do it. I was proud of her for sure. I just wished there a bit more time more time between Vegas and the reunion.
This time on the roof would the only time I had to mentally prepare until I came face to face with Kol later today. I was definitely confused. I loved him. I hated him. I had walked away before. He came back to me. I fell for his lies. I kicked him out. He found his way back to me again.
I knew we had to talk. I knew we had to decide whether or not we were going to get back together. But if that was the case. we needed transparency. We needed honesty. We needed trust. As much as I tried to deny and convince myself otherwise, I needed him.
“Hey.” Caroline said, taking a seat next to me. Her hands dropped in her lap and she sighed. “Not feeling the Mikaelson reunion either?”
“Not when He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named is down there.” I groaned. “He literally picked the worst time to stroll back into my life like nothing ever happened. I’m not ready to see him again, Care. ”
“You never did tell me what happened in Vegas.” She commented with a slight shrug. “All you said was that you saw K-”
“I’m not talking about it, Caroline.” I laughed. “It was a mistake that I’d like to leave in Las Vegas. What about you? You don’t want to see Klaus? Is he still on that ‘I intend to be your last love’ kick?”
“Klaus has been calling almost everyday since Hope has been here.” She laughed. “I don’t think we need a reunion. But it doesn’t matter if he is or not. Because I am happily married to Stefan.”
Caroline and I had grown rather close when I moved here. Elena was a great person, I couldn’t lie. Bonnie was fantastic too, so selfless. I didn’t know what it was that clicked between Caroline and I but I knew I couldn’t let it go.
She was the only person, other than Rebekah, that knew I had seen Kol in Vegas. I left out all the gory details since it made my blood boil every time.
I wasn’t ready to see him again. When I woke up this morning and thought about him coming, flashes of that night came back. The touch of his skin. The command of his fingers. The tension in his voice. The lies from his mouth. The admittance. Everything.
“Y/N?” Rebekah called from the ground, pulling me from my thoughts.
I peered over the edge and saw her smiling up at me. I smiled widely at her, unable to contain how happy I was to see her again. Klaus and Elijah stepped out after, Hayley followed close behind. Kol was no where to be seen and neither was Hope.
“You coming?” I asked Caroline. She nodded and took my hand. Together, we slid off the edge and landed in front of the Mikaelsons.
There was a lightness in the air, as if a weight was lifted. There was positivity flowing out of every Mikaelson smile. I knew that Hope had done the impossible. She saved her family.
“I can’t believe it.” I sighed happily. “You’re all here.”
She wrapped her arms around me tightly and sighed contently. “It is so good to see you again! When you left, I thought phone calls and letters were the best it was going to be.” She finished and pulled away.
“I wanted to come see you again. I really did.” I replied with a half happy, half sad smile. “I wanted to see all of you. It was just too much.”
“Y/N, no one blames you for taking the time you needed.” Elijah said kindly, placing a hand on my shoulder. “We understood.”
“Yes, I understand exactly how much of a pain in the ass my baby brother can be.” Klaus laughed. “He didn’t shut up about you for months. I swear, it was like the Hunter’s Curse all over again.”
“Too bad you couldn’t off yourself.” Hayley commented and shoved him slightly.
I missed this. I missed the light, happy Mikaelson family. I missed the jokes and the fun. Despite everything that had been said about them over the years, no family had this bond. No other family was as close as they were. When they had swore always and forever all that time ago, they meant it.
“Caroline, a pleasure to see you.” Klaus smiled. “You look as lovely as ever.”
“Thank you, Klaus.” She nodded. “Good to see you too. Come on inside everyone. I think some catching up is in order.”
Hayley followed first with Elijah in tow. I jumped on Klaus, forcing him to give me a piggyback ride. Rebekah walked next to me, discreetly talking about Kol.
“You know, you and I could go out later. If you don’t want to do this.” She offered.
“Thanks, but I made it perfectly clear last time. I’m not speaking a word to him.” I said as we reached the dining room.
I hopped off Klaus and followed them into the room. Hope sat at the top of the table, a proud smile on her face. Hayley sat next to her, Rebekah across Hayley. Klaus sat on the other end with Elijah on his left and Kol on his right. Caroline sat next to Hayley, which put me next to Kol and Rebekah.
“I’m sorry.” Caroline mouthed. “Jeremy did the placecards.”
I waved my hand, as if to brush it off. I took my seat and let out a silent sigh. This was going to be a long day.
“Hope, my dear.” I started conversation. “How do you feel? Tired?”
“A little.” She admitted. “But it was worth it. My family is together again.”
“For the first time in years.” Rebekah sighed happily. “I’ve missed my brothers and my dear sister. The phone calls just weren’t enough.”
“I agree.” Klaus added. “This lot has been there for me and each other throughout the years. I’m glad we’re all together again.”
“I’m not gonna lie,” I started. Everyone’s eyes turned to me, the way you’d expect them to when you talk. But Kol’s eyes were the most obvious. His stare was soft and apologetic, but it felt like it was burning into my skin. “I didn’t think it would happen this soon.”
“I thought it would take a while longer as well.” Elijah agreed. “Hope, I’m surprised you figured it out.”
“I was at first too…” Hope began. She continued talking but I got distracted by Kol, tapping my hand to get my attention.
I glanced over, despite knowing better, and he offered a slight smile. I rolled my eyes and turned back to the conversation. He tugged my hand so I slapped his hand away.
“Wouldn’t you say, Y/N?” Klaus said, drawing my attention up.
“I’m sorry. What?” I said with a laugh.
He raised and eyebrow and glanced between me and Kol. I shook my head slightly, telling him not to say anything. Of course he didn’t listen.
“I said, Kol seems rather upbeat for being recently divorced. Wouldn’t you say, Y/N?” He repeated and I had to keep myself from face palming.
“What happened to Davina?” Hayley asked. “She was so sweet. You two were great together.”
“Yeah, uh.” He started. I rolled my eyes and looked down, noticing there was no wedding band on his finger. Had there been one last week? I couldn’t remember. His voice brought my attention back. “We were great for a while, but it got to the point where it just didn’t feel right.”
“Did you two get into a fight? Something bad happen?” Elijah asked, hinting at something.
Oh no. The entire family was going to start ganging up on me. I could feel it. They were picking up on the tension between me and Kol, and they were going to use it against us.
It’s happened before. When I first started dating Kol all those years ago, they all teased us about it. They made jokes about our relationship, but oddly enough I grew to enjoy it. However, I did not enjoy this. Not at all.
“No, not really.” He laughed before licking his lips. “We just weren’t on the same page anymore. It was fairly mutual.”
I pulled my phone out under the table and typed a message to Caroline. ‘Kill. Me.’ It said.
She glanced down at her phone and then at me before jumping into the conversation. “So, Hope.” She began rather loudly to shut down other conversations. Thank God for Caroline. I would definitely owe her later for this. “Would you like to have the family stay over tonight? We have enough extra rooms. That is, if they want to.”
“Please Dad!” She smiled. “Can everyone?”
“Of course, my littlest wolf.” He smiled. “Anything your little heart desires.”
“Aunt Y/N,” Hope said, catching my attention. I had been slightly distracted wondering what Kol had been up to in the week since I last saw him. Did he think of me? Should I have called? Did I overreact? “Can you stay too? It’ll be one big reunion. I know you haven’t seen everyone in a long time.”
“Maybe not everyone.” Kol muttered and I had to shove my hands under my legs to avoid hitting him.
“Uh, I don’t know. I’m sure the family wants-” I attempted to argue.
“Nonsense!” Klaus exclaimed happily. “You’re staying! Maybe Kol would-”
“What my brother is trying to say, Y/N-” Rebekah interjected and shot her brother a glare. “-is that you are family. You’re more than welcome to stay with me, if you’d like.”
I sighed and dropped my head onto the table. Why did this keep happening to me? How come I couldn’t just get in and out? Why can’t Kol just stay away? Why did the universe hate me!?
“I suppose since Hope has requested it, I’ll stay.” I said and lifted my head. “You’re lucky I like you, Baby Mikaelson.” I stuck my tongue out at Hope.
She smiled and bounced out the room, pulling Caroline with her. She exclaimed that they had to make sure everything was ready for her family if they were going to stay the night.
“So Y/N, now that Hope is out of the room we can speak freely.” Elijah said, turning to face me. He gestured between me and Kol. “What happened between you two?”
“You mean recently or when she left?” Kol spoke.
My heart stopped in my throat. My body ran cold. I wanted to run. He brought up the one thing I never wanted to talk about.
“I’m fine discussing either. What about you, Y/N? Care to talk about our recent escapades?”
“What happened recently?” Hayley asked.
“Nothing.” I replied.
“I wouldn’t call it nothing, Love.” Klaus disagreed. “I can hear your foot tapping, and that only happens when you’re hiding something.”
“I’m not hiding anything.” I continued to lie. “Nothing happened.”
“Are you still with that boy, Porter?” Rebekah spoke up. “No, Peter. Haven’t you been seeing him for a few weeks?”
Kol scoffed at the mention of his name. I broke things off with Peter upon my return for multiple reasons. The first being that I felt a tad guilty for sleeping with Kol while I was whatever I was with Peter. The second being that I couldn’t stop thinking about Kol since that night. A third being that he was far too clingy for my liking.
“Uh, I haven’t seen him since I came back from Vegas last week.” I shrugged. “He was too dramatic.”
“Kol, weren’t you in Vegas last week?” Elijah questioned, raising his eyebrows at me accusingly.
“Yeah.” He nodded with a smirk that I wanted to slap off.
Hayley gasped. “You hooked up!?” She exclaimed. I glared at her and she smiled triumphantly. “I knew it!” She clapped once. “I thought you two were done.”
“We are.” I answered firmly. “What happened in Vegas was a huge mistake. I’m not repeating it and I’m not talking about it.”
“And if I wanted to repeat it?” Kol teased and I attempted to ignore him.
“So you admit something did happen?” Klaus laughed.
He was enjoying the awkward position he stuck me in. I guess when you don’t see someone in almost twenty years, you have to tease them this much. Rebekah wanted to help me out of the situation, but I knew she also wanted to know the details just as much as everyone else did.
I sighed and leaned back in my chair. I crossed my arms and threw my head back.
“Yes, something happened.” I admitted. “However, being that he’s a lying manipulative cheater, nothing is ever going to happen again.”
“Now hold on just a minute-” Kol argued.
“Don’t talk to me!” I yelled with a laugh. “You lost that right in Vegas.”
“If you’d let me explain-” He attempted.
“What part of, don’t talk to me is lost on you?” I laughed, pushing myself up from my chair.
“Y/N, please sit back down.” He said.
I scoffed and sprinted out of the room. I headed back to the roof, the quietest place I could be. The family headed outside and from my spot on the roof, I saw them all head their separate ways to find me.
“May I?” Klaus said from behind me.
“Go ahead.” I sighed, not looking over.
Klaus and I had a weird relationship. It had started as pure hate, but then again everyone hated Klaus the first time around. After a few decades of running, it grew to mutual respect. From there, it became friendship. Now, we’re basically family. Even though Klaus and I didn’t like each other at first, he helped me and protected me. I never understood why, but it was nice having a hybrid as a bodyguard.
“For someone who wanted to hide what happened, you sure made it obvious.” He commented.
“I wouldn’t even have had to talk about it if you hadn’t been so damn nosy.” I laughed, pushing his shoulder.
“He hurt you again, didn’t he?” He asked solemnly, sympathy somewhere in his tone.
“Yeah.” I sighed. “He did. He got to me, reminded me of everything we had. I gave in to him only to find out he was still married to Davina. He had told me they weren’t working anymore, but he made it sound like they were already divorced.”
“I’m sorry, Y/N.” He said, putting an arm around my shoulders. I leaned into him and sighed once again. “If it’s any consolation, I don’t think he planned on seeing you, let alone hurting you. He still loves you.”
“He has a funny way of showing it.” I muttered.
“The whole batch of us have a weird way of showing we care.” Rebekah said, taking a seat on the other side of me. “That doesn’t mean we don’t.”
“How am I supposed to trust him again?” I asked no one specific. “When he first met Davina, I understood I had to let him go. 400 years is a long time to be with someone, I didn’t blame him for getting bored, if that’s even why he fell for her.” I shrugged and sat up. “And then I saw him last week and somewhere, deep down, I had hope. All this time apart and I’ve still loved him. But then when you called me-” I looked to Rebekah. “-I felt that small hopeful fire be extinguished.”
“Y/N, listen to me.” Klaus said, drawing my attention his way. “Kol is a lot of things. Mainly a dumbass.” He smiled and so did I. “But he is a dumbass that cares about you more than he cares about himself. He was ready to chase after you when you left all those years ago.”
“He almost turned it off, he missed you so much.” Rebekah added.
“That’s all well and good, and yeah it makes me happy to know how much I matter to him, but how am I supposed to trust him?” I elaborated.
“By starting over.” Elijah said simply. I turned and saw him coming over to sit next to Klaus. “Forget your past relationship and work towards a new one. As a family, we have made many mistakes when it comes to love. And often times when we try to fix those mistakes, we make them worse. But I beg you, Y/N, give the boy one final chance. A chance to start over completely.”
“I don’t know.” I shrugged. “Truth is, I would love to hate him. It would make my life so much easier. But, you can’t hate someone who you loved for so long.”
“Do you really mean that?” Rebekah asked softly. “Do you still love him?”
“I hate myself for it, but yes. I think that I can never belong to anyone other than him. His smile, his talks, his everything is what I see whenever I'm with anyone else.” I sighed and flopped onto my back. From my new viewpoint, I saw Kol on the other side of the roof. “How long have you been there?” I whispered.
“Long enough.” He came closer.
I hopped up and stood to face him. “Now, before you say anything-”
“No, Y/N. You’ve had your time to speak, and I heard everything. Now it’s my turn.” He said firmly. I pressed my lips into a line and nodded. “My darling Y/N, my heart and soul, my light, my inspiration,  my humanity. I was dead for ages, Darling. Everyday I woke, I was a mess of loneliness and family drama in a life that I didn’t know, a life without you. That day in Vegas, I saw you walking down the street, with this look on your face, like nothing in the world could bother you. You had adjusted your glasses and smiled at something that was said over the phone. You bumped into me and I heard your voice. In that moment, something inside of me cracked wide open. I was dead for ages, Y/N Y/L/N, and only then did I feel alive again.”
“Is that supposed to change anything?” I asked with a shrug. I crossed my arms to make myself as small as possible. I didn’t want to be here. I didn’t want to be standing across the man I loved. I wanted to disappear. I had things to say, but I would’ve rather said them over the phone. The expression on his face made it too hard. “You lied.”
“Not exactly.” He replied. “The paperwork was started. It just hadn’t gone through yet. Davina and I had been separated for months before I went to Vegas.”
“Listen, as much as I love you, I can’t.” I said with as much conviction as I could. “I made the mistake once. I’m not doing it again. I can’t handle another heartbreak.”
“I love you, Y/N.” He said softly. “I never stopped. Rebekah might have mentioned that one of the reasons Davina and I split was becasue I was sleep talking… It was your name I kept saying, along with things like I missed you. I loved you. I needed you.”
What was it Kol had said earlier? ‘Something inside of me cracked wide open.’ I understood exactly what he meant in that moment. Maybe Elijah was right. Maybe we could try all over again.
“So what do you say, my darling?” He said, reaching for my hand and dropping to a kneel. “Will you take me back? One final chance.”
I paused. I wanted to say yes, to live another 400 years and more with him, to buy a house somewhere and have a family. I wanted to take his face in my hands and kiss him. I wanted to hug him and lay my head against his chest when I fell asleep. I wanted to wake up to him every morning and have spontaneous adventures. I wanted everything we had before and more.
“Hello, Y/N?’ Rebekah said, snapping me from my thoughts and reminding me where I was. “Say something already!”
“Oh, right.” I nodded. “Um, why did we never get married?” I asked him with a laugh.
He laughed and stood up, never letting go of my hand. He pulled me to his chest, wrapping the other arm around my waist. He pressed my hand to his chest and held it there.
“Whatever you want.” He said softly.
“I want…” I trailed off, tracing the familiar features of his face with my eyes before landing on his. “I want a fresh start. No more mentions of Davina and your last marriage. No mentions of Peter. Just you and me.”
“To another 400 years, then?” He asked sweetly.
“We can do anything together, can’t we?” I asked and he nodded. “Then let’s make it at least a thousand.”
“I like the sound of that.” He smiled and placed a kiss on my forehead.
Later that night, I discovered that when Kol was missing earlier in the day, he was off plotting with Hope. Turns out, Hope had asked him what happened between us. He told her that he had messed up and needed help fixing it. Together, they came up with the plot of getting me and him alone together to talk and hopefully fix things. When we walked in together, everyone was surprised and happy to see us together. Caroline said I had to tell her what happened in Vegas now.
The years passed with Kol, happy and full of love. Within five years of getting back together, Kol and I were married. None of the family heard from Davina again. Rebekah married Marcel. Hope grew even more powerful and was an iconic witch. Everything was finally perfect, and it stayed perfect.

Elijah and Marcel, Victims of Narrative
This is a thing that I wrote a while back that I’m moving here. I’m putting it under a cut because it’s kinda long.
Part 1: Where the fuck is Elijah and who is this fuckboy?
Sometimes it's genuinely hard for me to remember that the Mikaelsons on TO aren't the Originals on TVD. Their characterizations are so completely different.
Ready? Because this is going to blow your mind...Elijah isn't a Niklaus sycophant. He's not obsessed with Niklaus' redemption, hell for most of his life, the idea of it was laughable.
Doesn't that just fly in the face of everything TO is trying to put forward as narrative?
Now, let's begin with the false notion that Niklaus is the most important person in Elijah's life, to the detriment of his other siblings.
To begin with; we look to season 2, when Elijah first appeared. The mysterious Original, with an even more mysterious purpose. Originally, it was presumed that he was working for this boogeyman figure 'Klaus', however, we later find out that not only is he not, he wants to murder the other Original. Why? Because Niklaus killed his siblings and dumped their bodies into the ocean. That to Elijah was unforgivable, and he was going to do it. Bonnie had reduced to NIklaus to something killable, and Elijah had his fist in his treacherous little brother's chest. Only the realization that Niklaus had lied and his siblings were safe saved Niklaus from dying that night.
Then we jump to season 3, where Elijah has been freed by Damon under the assumption that Elijah will turn on Niklaus for daggering him. An assumption that of course, proves correct. But not before we see two very important scenes. The first is when Niklaus proclaims Mikael's death, and Elijah's immediate reaction is to ask why their siblings remain daggered. This right here explains everything we needed to know about the daggering. Elijah hated it, but there was the assumption that it would end at some point, with Mikael's death, which was indeed Niklaus' original intent. Second is when Niklaus reinsterts the dagger into Kol. Elijah is pissed. He hates the fact that Kol's being daggered and he can't do anything to stop it. Until he can, and the moment Elijah has the ability to free his siblings, he does so.
All of them. Rebekah. Kol. Finn. Elijah makes no excuses for keeping one of them locked up, no reasoning not to. After all this time he can finally free his family and he does not hesitate. Furthermore, he makes it very clear he knows exactly who to blame. "I'm learning not to trust your vulgar promises Niklaus," Is what he says. No reference to Mikael or Esther, nor sob story. It's just 'NIklaus you did this, I'm ending it, prepare to hurt.'
And then he decides to leave Niklaus behind. Him, Rebekah, Kol, Finn, they were all going to leave. They were going to find the coffin containing the mysterious weapon and use it as leverage against their tyrannical brother if he dared to cross them. Elijah had no qualms about this, he didn't even so much as speak up when Rebekah announced her intent to murder Elena and leave Niklaus without even his hybrids to fall back on. It was only the return of their mother that stayed their hand. She came back, and they all thought that perhaps they could have a chance, truly wipe the slate clean.
Except Elijah didn't believe it. His exact words were that he found it difficult to believe Esther could forgive Niklaus "After all he's done to destory this family." No reference to Mikael, no sob story about Niklaus losing his way. Again, Niklaus did this, Elijah acknowledges it, and is surprised that the logical consequences did not follow.
Until they did. Esther didn't return to give a new beginning to them, but to bring about their end. Their own mother condemned them as monsters, monsters that had to die. And then, at the end of the episode, Elijah said the words that should have formed the bedrock of TO "Mother made us vampires, but she didn't make us monsters. We did that to ourselves."
That applies to all of them. They made themselves what they are, not Mikael, not Esther. Them.
Then we saw Elijah at the end of season 3, where he made a deal: Hand over the coffin containing Niklaus' dessicated body, and the Originals will scatter to the corners of the Earth. Alaric will follow after them, but he'll never catch them. Elena can grow old and die a natural death, and Niklaus will not be released until generations later, when the Gilbert named is lost to time. Elijah intended to keep Niklaus dessicated for at least a century, or likely even longer.
Hell, even in season 4, the season where the actual Originals started getting destroyed in favour of their TO counterparts, Elijah still showed up long enough to deny the cure to Niklaus.
Why? Because Niklaus is not and has never been Elijah's priority. Elijah's top priority has always been and will always be the family as a whole. When Niklaus screwed up and got himself trapped or hexed or whatever, Elijah had no problem with leaving up laying the bed he made, not if it meant the safety of the family as a whole. That's why he was able to convince himself not to rip Niklaus apart centuries ago when his siblings got daggered, because he was convinced that it was for the safety of the family as a whole.
There was none of this 'redemption' bullshit, or obsession with Niklaus. He took on the role of protector to his siblings, and that's what he dedicated himself to. That was his nobility. Elijah is a vampire, a thousand year old vampire. The worldview he has is completely alien to us, what consitutes good and evil to him doesn’t match up to the human perspective. The only time that was ever really questioned was when Esther called him out on it.
That is Elijah, and that's why fuckboy is a gigantic insult to the character, because he is everything Elijah wasn't. Elijah was content to leave one in a bad way to save all, fuckboy will leave all to suffer in favour of this isane and inane 'redemption' idea. Elijah was cold, lethal and efficient. Fuckboy is a dumbass. Elijah was attracted to sentiments of nobility that he himself strived to, fuckboy has only physical attraction to someone who has none of those qualities.
So, quite simply. Elijah isn't on TO, Elijah's never been on TO, it's always been fuckboy. A horrible misinterpretting of what was a great character.
Part 2: Marcel the victim
Someone once asked a question, something to the effect of 'can't Marcel ever win.' And the answer is, quite simply; no.
He can't, he never will. Marcel is, in the eyes of the narrative, completely worthless.
Think about it, the entire premise of this show is that somehow miracle baby will redeem Niklaus. That he will change because of his child. This-which flies in the face of the fact that horrible people do not suddenly become better because a baby gets thrown into the mix-is the entire point of the show. One that it has never been able to go beyond. However, there was one great flaw in that plan; they'd already created a child for Niklaus. The nameless slave that eventually became Marcel Gerard. How then could they possible say that Hope could change Niklaus for the better when he already had a child and it did nothing for him? The answer they chose? Undermine and undervalue Marcel. We've seen it since the beginning. He was never treated like someone raised by the Mikaelsons for over a hundred years. Hell, even his relationship with Rebekah just screams of separation. They develop romantic feelings because there are no familial ones.
Because Marcel wasn't good enough, he didn't change Niklaus, and because of that, the narrative will forever punish him for it. We've known it for seasons, but finally, they just plain spelled it out.
Marcel: Come to gloat?
[Fuckboy]: Five years ago I was forced to make a decision. Take your life, or lose everything.
Marcel: Yeah, I know. I was there.
[Fuckboy]: Niklaus was faced with a similar decision today, and here you are.
Marcel: And here I am. Excuse me if I don’t express my gratitude.
[Fuckboy]: He’s changing.
Marcel: Oh really? He put me in the same place that I kept him. That’s revenge. So, same old Klaus.
[Fuckboy]: Well, I would say that he would describe this as strategy. But you and I, we both know he’s always regarded you as something of a son. So did I once upon a time. In fact, I used to believe that you were the key to my brother’s redemption.
Marcel: Redemption? He’s never gonna change, not even for his own daughter.
[Fuckboy]: Oh, he already has. She has changed him. You Marcellus, you are not needed, welcomed, or wanted. You have only been spared purely because you are my brother’s greatest weakness. And I cannot show mercy towards anyone who would demonstrate threat towards this family. And if indeed you should prevent the redemption, of the cruel, the wicked, the vindictive Niklaus Mikaelson, I promise you, I will deliver another kind of nightmare.
Look at that statement, that final, horrible, disgusting paragraph. Hope changed him, he's becoming 'better' for her, and Marcel's not wanted because he failed to change Niklaus. That might as well have been Narducci standing there, finally giving text to the subtext that's been there from the beginning. Marcel is a failure as a child because Niklaus remained an awful person. Because in TO, it the duty of the children to 'redeem' their parents. Esther said it in season 2, and now hear we are again.
They needed to make Hope the grand deus ex machina Mary Sue, and to that end, they decided that Marcel didn't count. He wasn't a real child, so he didn't succeed. Because he didn't succeed, he's worthless.
Truly a wonderful message for anyone involved in adoption, parent or child, hmm? And there's also the fact that the black child's treated like an outsider despite all his successes while the white child is treated like a godamned Messiah just for existing.
You know what? I want Niklaus to become horrible. To be even worse than he was. He has a child now, one who will question his authority. Let him murder, pillage and burn. Let fuckboy bear witness to the reality that Elijah already knows: They are each their architects of their own monstrosity, and no child will ever change that. Let fuckboy's entire ambition burn to the fucking ground.
And so, I end off this with FUCK EVERYONE INVOLVED IN WRITING THIS COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT! SERIOUSLY HOW THE HELL DID NO ONE ANYWHERE REALIZE WHAT THE HELL THEY WERE WRITING!!!!!!

Klaus Mikaelson
I sighed contently as I felt the warm sweet taste of blood run over my tongue and down my throat into my favorite, quenching my hunger. I drank and drank until I felt the body in my arms fall limp. As I throw him to the ground I looked around at the floor full of almost lifeless bodies. "Well, that was fun. But I am all too sure that there is a reason you're here. So other than dinner, what are you doing here Rebekah?" I asked, standing up and walking over to my best friend for over 900 years.
"Who said I wanted something, Y/N? Maybe I just wanted to see my best friend." Rebekah pouted at my accusation. I looked over at her raising an eyebrow, making her roll her eyes at me in response.
I rolled my eyes back and turned to look at all the bodies lying on the floor. I snapped my fingers and raised my hand, willing the heads of our latest meal to look my way, into my eyes. "You will leave this bar after a shot of our blood and go home. Sleep this off and when you wake you will only remember a good night of drinking, dancing and loud music." I said compelling them all. Rebekah handed them each a shot glass of blood and we both watched as they downed the shot and left the building, tired and seemingly hung over.
After everybody had left I grabbed a bottle of bourbon and walked over to a booth where Rebekah Sat with two glasses. "OK, so, maybe there is a reason I came here." Rebekah smiled as she took the bottle from my hand and poured two drinks.
"I know this is, We have been best friends since before you turned me all those years ago.  Bekah, I'm the only one knows you that well." I laughed as I took a glass and drank from it. "So, what is it?" I asked, a little serious now, placing the glass on my lips and shifting in my seat.
"Well, I want you to come back to New Orleans with me." She said quickly, making me choke a little on my drink. "Look I know it's not the greatest place on Earth but I could really use you there with me." She explained, standing up, and moving to sit by me. I just watched her as she made her case.
"Look, I don't know about this Rebekah. I like it here." I replied, but I had lied and I could see she knew that. Moving to New Orleans was something I could never do in the past, too many bad memories there. "Bekah, the last time I was there, I was captured and used for my never ending supply of hybrid magic. Going back there, It would just bring back too many memories...especially of me and..."
"I understand that Y/N, but I need you. HE needs you. Plus you're always telling me that I'm about how much you're always wanted a family. but you already have one. Me, I have always treated you like a sister, and I hope that's enough." Rebekah said truthfully. I nodded and smiled.
"I know that Bekah and of course it's enough. You're my sister, not by blood but by heart and choice. In my eyes that's the best kind of family. It's just what if i'm not wanted." I sighed, I knew it wasn't true, I was loved by the Mikaelson family, but that was a long time ago.
"Y/N, you and I both know that won't happen, my family love you. besides, Elijah is quite excited to see you again and Kol...well, Kol is the same annoying arse you know and love." She told me.
 "And Niklaus?" I asked.
"Well, to be honest, he is still the same old narcissistic, back stabbing wanker, who will do anything for you." she laughed, a small smile appeared on my face. But it quickly vanished once I remembered the last time I saw him.
"I just can't Bekah, the last time Nik saw me I was being held captive by Mikael and was forced to use my magic to find him. I don't think he will ever forgive me for that and even if he did, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself for betraying him." I whispered sadly as the memories came flooding back.
"Look, Mikael is dead, not coming back. You did nothing wrong. Nik knows that and he always understood why you did it. Y/N you did it to save me from my father. After you left with him we knew there had to be a good reason for you to go. Elijah found out about my fathers threat to hurt me. we all did everything we could to get you away from him." She spoke soft and comforting. I know she was right after Mikael found out about me being half vampire, half witch hybrid, he caught me and used the once I loved against me to make sure I did what I was told and use my magic to find Nik.
It was quiet for a while, so I used this time to think about the pros and cons of going back with Rebekah.
First the pros: I wouldn't be alone anymore and I'd have my family back, which is all I ever wanted. I'd get to speak with Rebekah more and see Elijah and Kol. I could start over, maybe even get back to the old, adventurous, fun loving me.
Cons: Nik may very well have not forgiven me and throw me on the streets. I might not be able to handle being around him, it's been a long time and I really don't like the thought of being around him and not being happy.
I thought for a little longer and soon enough I came to a decision. I turned to Rebekah and smiled, "OK, I'll come home with you. But, first, we need to make a stop a my flat to pick up a few essentials, the rest I'll just buy new I guess. Most of it is out of date anyway." I laughed, grabbing my jacket and standing up. Rebekah Let out a small squeal and dove at me wrapping her arms around me.
"OK, come let's go." She shouted excitedly.
*Two hours later*
After a few hours of shopping and Rebekah telling me stories of the Mikaelson family adventures since I left, we finally reached my apartment building. "OK, come on, I'll get what I need and we can get on the road." I told her as I unlocked the door and walking inside my small apartment.
"Wow, this is quite cozy, isn't it?" Rebekah laughed as she looked around my tiny one bed apartment.
"It's not much but it's only for when I'm bored for the big city and need a bit of peace." I told her. I lived in New York most of the time, but every now and the I like to stay in this tiny apartment, just me, where I can get some peace.
I walked into my bedroom and grabbed  small travel case and opened it, placing it on my bed. I packed a few things that I couldn't but anywhere. My photo albums and a few bits from over the years. "Bekah from in the an you grab that box from on that shelf, please." I asked her, rearranging a few things so the box could fit in.
"Crap." I heard her mutter as the box landed on the floor at her feet, "Sorry Y/N,"
"It's fine really." I laughed as I walked over to help her pick it up.
"What is this stuff anyway?" she asked rummaging through the old paintings Klaus had given me and letter he had sent me. She soon stopped when she found a small black box. she opened it and I watched as her face dropped a little once she saw the ox was empty, which of course made me laugh.
"Do you really think I would keep a ring and not wear it? Really Rebekah, I thought you knew me better than that." I asked, pouting a little. She gave me a confused look and lifted my hands up.
"I don't see any ring," she retorted. I nodded and rolled my eyes.
"I never said I wore it on my hand." I replied, as I smiled, pulling the ring that hung on a chain around my neck. "It hurt to wear it all the time, but I couldn't part with it so I came up with this alternative." I explained. She took it into her hand to get a closer look. It was a very old and very beautiful diamond ring.
"Who gave it to you?" She asked, letting the ring fall against my chest. I raised an eyebrow and gave her a look as if to say 'Really'. "Oh, well why not wear it?" she asked.
"I didn't feel I deserved to. He gave me the ring as a promise of his love and I didn't feel I deserved his love. You know after everything that happened. But I also couldn't let it go. It always felt like if I were to part with it, I would be parting with Nik forever and I guess I still had hope he would still love me." I explained as I absentmindedly played with the ring. "Right, I got everything, lets go." I said bringing myself back to reality.
*The next day*
The car ride here was enjoyable, music playing, us singing along with it. It took us a little longer because we ended up spending the night in a hotel because we got tired and its like an 19 hour drive from NYC to New Orleans and we both got tired of driving. The nerves set in when we were about an hour away but Rebekah help by taking my mind off of things. Once I saw the lights of New Orleans, where I had been trying to avoid for many years, I suddenly felt like I was coming home. I was so excited but nervous at the same time. it felt really good to know I still get a funny tummy when I am close to my family.
"Welcome home Y/N!" Rebekah cheered as she pulled up to a big house. I smiled and laughed as I looked around, taking it all in. "Well, Well, Well. If it isn't Y/N Y/L/N." I heard someone shout. I turned to see my other best friend standing at the top of a set of stairs. A young woman, holding a little girl was standing behind him.
"Elijah Mikaelson. How lovely to see you again." I laughed as he 'ran' down the stairs and over to me into a tight hug and spinning me around. "God I've missed you Elijah." I sighed burying my head in his shoulder.
"As have I." He replied kindly.
As we hugged a little longer I heard a low growl and a clearing of a throat. I looked up to see the young woman holding the baby starring at me. "Easy there little wolf, I'm just saying hello to an old friend." I smirked at her as she made her way down to Elijah's side. "Besides, he's not my type." I smiled.
"Yeah, you prefer the Psychotic murdering type, right?" Rebekah called from the car. I turned and smiled.
"Exactly." I called back.
"Y/n this is Haley and her daughter Hope." Elijah introduced, I nodded and smiled.
"Nice to meet you Haley."
"You too...So how do you know the Mikaelsons?" she asked, shaking my hand.
"Oh she used to date Niklaus." Rebekah answered, now standing by my side.
"Oh nice. you weren't kidding about the psychotic Murderers being her type." she scoffed.
"Easy there little wolf, I might not be with him anymore but you say anything bad about him I will not take it lightly." I snarled, slight.y raising my hand as if you harm her.
"Y/N, don't, I doubt she knows about the two of you. It's not like we tell her every family secret." Elijah reasoned.
" OK, you're right. Besides, if I recall correctly he was your type at one point too." I replied pointing at hope.
"You know about Hope?" Elijah asked confused.
I smiled and nodded. "What, you didn't think I would not keep tabs on you all. besides, when Rebekah was hiding her a while back she came to stay with me for a bit." I explained, waving my hand towards hope to which she just smiled at.
"You took my daughter to stay with her." Haley retorted. I raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"Don't mess with me pup, I have been around for a hell of a lot longer that you and I can do things you have never dreamed of seeing. I have power beyond your tiny little wolf brain can handle." I sneered. I watched as she handed Elijah the baby and turned to me.
"Haley, don't." Elijah warned.
"What's she gonna do? Because honey, I'm not someone you want to mess with. I'm a hybrid, you know what that means. Half vampire, half Wolf. One bite could kill you." She snarled. I nodded and looked to Bekah and Elijah. Before I flicked my hand up and Haley began to lift into the air.
" I'm not sure you understood me when I told you I was powerful." I spoke calmly. I put her back on her feet and smiled. "I am the most powerful being on the planet, half vampire half witch. so I wouldn't brag about you being a wolf/vampire hybrid, because I can take that away from you just as easily as it was given to you." I laughed before walking off to pick up my bags and walk towards the house.
"Wow, not even back in town for five minutes and already you're starting trouble with the wolves." I heard Kol laugh from the top of the stairs were he had been watching.
"Kol, Hey." I smiled wrapping my arms around him the best I could. As I pulled away my eyes looked about, looking for someone in particular I guess.
"He wanted to keep his distance. Didn't think you wanted to see him." He smiled, know who I was looking for. I nodded and shrugged before following Kol, making my way to my room, which was, by some accident I'm sure, opposite Nik's room.
I spent a couple of hours unpacking the clothes I had bought while out shopping with Rebekah. I put my photo frames and albums on the shelves. Then I pulled out the 'Nik' box. I sat on the now made bed and began reading the letters, smiling as I could almost hear his voice read every word in my head. It was a voice that could make even the most bravest man shiver with fear. nut me, it made me shiver for a whole other reason.
Klaus Mikaelson was thought to be the most feared man in the whole world. He was thought to be evil, psychotic and a monster. But me, I knew him better than that. He was kind, thoughtful and would do just about anything for the ones he loves most. That was the man I loved, and he still is the same man today.
Back when I first met the Mikaelsons, I quickly became close to Nik and Rebekah. Rebekah treated me like a sister from the start and Nik...well he treated me like a princess. protecting me, caring for me and loving me the best he could, with his whole heart and I loved him just as much as he loved me. Rebekah turned me so Nik and I could be together forever because she always believed he deserved to be loved, even if he didn't believe it because Mikael always told him otherwise. After everything with Mikael happened I ran away. The only person I told my whereabouts to was Rebekah. Of course she told Nik who sent me letters, he first told me I knew I needed space so he wasn't gonna come after me unless I wanted him to.
"I see you kept his gifts and letters" I heard Elijah speak.
"Every single one." I smiled up at him, putting down the letter I was reading." I missed him El. Everyday I would come home from what ever I was doing and for a second I'd be so excited to tell him about my day, then I would remember and the pain felt bad all over again." I sighed as he made his way over to my bed. He sat next to me and nodded.
"He missed you too, just as much, i'm sure." I reassured me. I nodded and he picked up a few of the painting Nik had sent me. " You want help putting them up?" He asked. I nodded and stood up picking up the hammer.
"Let's do it." I replied.
It took about 30 minutes to get the drawings and painting up on the wall. We sat and admired hem for a little. I liked how Nik sent me picture of his memories. It felt like I was with him through out his adventures. I had a few favorites. One was of Rebekah and I, One was of Hope as a baby and the third was what he thought our wedding day would look like.
Elijah soon left, being called away by Haley so I was once again left with my thoughts so I sat on my bed and just looked at all the paintings and drawing he had sent me.
"Has anyone ever told you, you should be thinking so hard...Dangerous things happen when you hatch a plan." A voice I knew all to well spoke throw my closed door.
"It's only dangerous for those involved." I laughed softly. "Usually ends well for me though."
"Yes if I recall correctly the last time you plotted something dangerous we ended up killing a whole lot of people. You almost died in the process." He spoke sadly. "Then you left."
"Are you gonna stay out there or are you gonna co me in here and speak to me Nik? I don't wanna speak through a door." I told him. I didn't move from my bed because if he waned to see me, he would come in. I didn't wanna force him to see me if he wasn't ready.
The door swung open and there stood the breathtakingly handsome Niklaus Mikaelson. "Hello love." He smiled as he entered my room. I sat up a little and smiled subconsciously reaching for the ring that hung around my neck.
"Hi." I whispered.
It was quiet fora while, we just looked at each other, not knowing what to say. I say thee on my bed as he looked around my room, looking at the art work on my wall, the photos of us ans the box of letters. then he found the ring box. He opened it and I could see the hurt in his face as he saw it empty. "You didn't keep it?" He asked sadly. I shook my head and smiled.
"No, I wear it, all the time. see." I told him taking the chain from around my neck and handing it to him.
He took and and smiled a smile that still left you breathless. "I remember the day I gave this for you. I had finally gotten you back from my father. I told you that if you had to leave, you had to promise to let me know you were safe." He reminded me. I replayed the day in my head.
"Yeah and I promised you that when I was ready, I would find you again. I would do all I could to win your heart again." I remembered.
"And  told you my heart would always belong to you. I swore that when you came back I would never let you go again." He smiled down at the ring. "And that I would marry you."
"Yeah, I remember. I took the ring and promised the same." I nodded, taking a deep breath.
"So, are you back?" He asked hopefully.I looked around and it was then I noticed Rebekah, Elijah and Kol stood by my bedroom door, waiting for my answer.
"I never stopped loving you, you know. I left because I couldn't bare the thought you didn't love me anymore. I wanted you to know that." I told him.
"Do know that, and I love you, I have everyday since you left. You are the only person I am meant to spend the rest of my life with, so..are you back?"
I nodded and smiled, "I am." I laughed. I had never felt so happy than right now.I was back, with my family, the family who, even though I abandoned them, they still love me and seeing them all smile at me gave me an overwhelming sense of Joy. "I'm back for good, to win back the heart of the man I gave everything to."I said calmly. declaring my intentions.
I watched as Klaus took the ring from my chain and knelt on the floor. "You have always owned my heart Y/N. Nothing has changed that, even after all this those years and I do intend on keeping my promise. So once you had said yes to forever, But I'm asking you again, will you do me the honor of being mine forever. Will you marry me?" Nik asked taking my hand in his.
"I would love nothing more than to marry you Niklaus Mikaelson." I whispered, to happy for words. Tears began forming in my eyes as Klaus slipped the ring onto my finger and kissed my hand.
"Forever and always." He smiled up at me.
" Maybe even longer." I replied pulling him to his feet and bringing his lips to mine.
"I love you Y/N" Rebekah called over to me.
"I love you too Bex" I called back laughing, as everyone ran into my room and they all wrapped their arms around me.
"We all love you Y/N" Elijah smiled.
"I love you all too." I smiled as we stayed like this for a while. I just wanted to stay like this forever.
"I love you Y/N" Klaus smiled over at me.
"I love you too Nik" I smiled back. this is the happiest I've ever been and I have a feeling things are only going to get better.

I read this other ff that had Hope being a complete brat and Klaus being a pushover and letting her do whatever she wanted, basically treating Caroline like trash. I was so angry that I had to write something else, anything else. I do NOT like kids or babies. So here’s a short drabble. no beta. AH/AU
Hope was going down the stairs to the kitchen. She was hungry and even though it would be dinner in an hour or so, she didn’t feel like waiting. She did what she wanted, and no one ever said no to her. If they did, they were promptly replaced. Hope learned at a young age, that she could make her father do whatever she wanted. She could do no wrong in his eyes. And she took full advantage of it. She heard voices and walked towards her father’s office. She didn’t care that she was eavesdropping on a private conversation. It was her father speaking to Katherine, her uncle’s girlfriend. Hope didn’t really like Katherine, but Elijah spoke to her, reasoned with her, and Hope kept the tantrums to a minimum. That and the fact that Katherine was not about to let some 10 year old child walk all over her.
“Well, are you going to do anything?” Katherine asked
“Yes I’ll send a bloody wedding present, what do you want me to do?” Klaus answered
“It’s not what I want, it’s what she wants!”
“Clearly she’s getting what she wants! A June wedding!”
“She deserves to know!”
“Know what?!”
“That it wasn’t her fault! That none of this was her fault! That it was you, it was always you! And she deserves to know that!”
“Since when did you care so much about her?!”
“I’m her maid of honor”
“What?!”
“She deserves to know that what happened all those years ago, wasn’t her fault! That it was never her fault. That it was you and you inability to reign in your bratty kid”
“You will not speak of her like that!”
“You can’t even control your own daughter! She’s completely out of her control. Whatever she wants, she gets it! What’s gonna happen when she realizes her daddy’s money can’t buy her friends or a husband? What then!?”
“Do not presume you know anything about raising a child!”
“I don’t, but I know a brat when I see one. And I know you took it out on Caroline instead of disciplining your child. I know that you blamed Caroline for every time your child had a tantrum. I know that you even told her that-”
“Enough! I love my daughter, and I will not apologize for that, not now not ever”
“Caroline knew that. She also knew when it came down to it, if you had to choose between her or your child, you would always pick your child. She knew that, and she stayed with you for as long as she could. But you knew how insecure she was about being 2nd choice, and you told your child that”
“I was trying to talk to Hope to get her to understand”
“No you gave her a weapon to use against her.”
“How was I suppose to know Hope was going to say those things?”
“You’re right you didn’t know, but you could have said or done something, instead, you let her get away with it. And you’re still letting her get away with it now”
“What do you want me to do?”
“Tell Caroline the truth, that you in fact are a terrible person, and she does deserve better”
“Better is not that stupid prick Salvatore, ugh he spends more time on his hair than she does”
“But he chose her, and he didn’t come with all that baggage”
“How can you say that? He’s still moping about over Elena, and then there’s his wayward brother”
“But Stefan was upfront about it, and he never lied to her about her, never accused her. She accepted her place as 2nd choice, and she’s getting a June wedding”
“Was the point of this to antagonize me?”
“No, it was make sure you send them a wedding present. Something nice, their registry is on the back. You know Caroline, she just loves to shoot that laser gun”
Katherine pushed the wedding invitation towards Klaus and turned to leave. Klaus looked at the invitation, it was something Caroline would pick. He tossed it it aside. Hope hid in the hallway as Katherine walked away. She slowly crept towards the door and looked inside. Klaus had opened the safe behind a painting. He took out a small velvet box and opened it. Inside was the engagement ring he had given Caroline, a ring she left on his desk when she left. No note, nothing. Hope remembered that day. She smiled as she was victorious in finally getting rid of Caroline. She no longer had to share her time with her father, and Caroline wasn’t her real mother anyways. Hope watched as her father looked at the ring and sighed. Hope skipped towards the kitchen and took out some ice cream.
“Elijah what is so important that you cannot come to Hope’s ballet recital?” Klaus asked on the phone
“Niklaus, as much as I would love to see my niece dance, Katerina and I have prior engagements”
“Such as?”
“She is the maid of honor in Caroline’s wedding”
“Fine, I’ll ask Rebekah”
“Our dear sister is attending the wedding”
“What?”
“You do realize that our lives do not revolve around yours or Hope’s. And after the horrible things you put her through-”
“I don’t need a lecture”
“Then don’t ask for one”
Elijah hung up leaving Klaus shocked. Hope was dressed in her recital costume and was heading downstairs to show her father. Kol was there antagonizing Klaus.
“Really? Didn’t bother to ask me?” Kol teased
“I don’t trust you with anything” Klaus said
“Well I can’t, I have a wedding to attend”
“What? You didn’t even know her!”
“Not when you were dating, but I did get to know her better to know that she deserved better than you. A lot better. And besides Bonnie is one of her bridesmaids”
“Lovely”
“I never understood why you never went after her”
“There was no reason to”
“There was plenty of reasons”
“No, you let Hope chase her off, the same way she’s chased off everyone, that might remotely be friendly towards you. That’s not healthy”
“What would you have me do?”
“You made this mess, you’re going to have to lie in it”
“I do miss her at times. I wondered how she was”
Kol was surprised how candid Klaus was being.
“But she made her choice.”
“It’s been 5 bloody years!”
“She’s done alright for herself”
“You know that Salvatore is a wanker”
“He is, and all that hair”
“If you had to do it all over again, would you?”
“Of course, I loved her”
“Would you have done things differently?”
“I will always choose Hope”
“That’s not answering the question”
“It doesn’t matter now. She’s marrying someone else”
Klaus got up to go to his office. All this talk of Caroline put him in a mood and he just wanted to be alone. Kol turned around and saw Hope walking down the stairs.
“You’re not going to come to my ballet recital?” Hope said on the verge of tears
“You put those crocodile tears away. That only works on your father” Kol said
“Fine, why aren’t you? Uncle Elijah and auntie Bexx isn’t coming either!”
“As much as we would love to go to your recital, we have a wedding to go to”
“But it’s MY recital!”
“Yes and it’s our friend’s wedding. Besides you have 8 of them a year. Your father will be there”
“Is it Caroline’s wedding? I knew she didn’t really like my dad if she’s marrying someone else”
“Hope! Don’t you talk about her like that, she’s my friend!”
“She’s not a very good friend, if she’s having her wedding on my ballet recital!”
“Not everything in the world revolves around you. Your father made you his entire world and he paid for it with his happiness. I hope you’re aware of that”
“What are you talking about?”
“You’re 10, you’re old enough to understand things. You chased away the love of your father’s life”
“I did not. They were all fake, after his money”
“No, she wasn’t like that at all. I saw how she tried to be your friend”
“She tried to be my mother! And she’s not!”
“No she’s not, because your mother’s the saint of all things. Bloody hell. Don’t you understand Hope? Your father isn’t happy, he hasn’t been happy for a while”
“He’s happy when he’s with me”
“That he is, but you’re not with him all day are you? He’s sad because she’s not here anymore. He’s sad and moody most of the time. I see it, where he smiles for you but it doesn’t quite reach his eyes”
“I think Sandy does the same thing when she sees me at school. She’s so fake”
“Hope, this isn’t about you. This is about your father, who’s given you everything you’ve ever wanted. Don’t you think for once you could give him something?”
Caroline was laughing at her bridal shower. She looked at all her friends and smiled. She was wearing the silly hat made of ribbons and posed with pictures with her friends. She couldn’t believe that she would be married in a few weeks. Katherine was moving some of the presents out to the car when she saw Hope standing there.
“What are you doing here?” Katherine asked
“I came to talk to Caroline” Hope responded
“No, this is her day and I won’t have you throwing another tantrum, especially here” Katherine said
“I’m not here for that. I just want to apologize”
“I think hell just froze over. I’m calling your dad”
“Fine call him. I just want to tell her I’m sorry for the horrible things I said to her”
“Why?”
“I guess I was really mean to her and she didn’t deserve it”
“I will not have you ruining her day. I don’t care if you are Elijah’s only niece, I will strangle you myself”
“Fine, here give her this then” Hope handed her a letter
Katherine ripped open the envelope and started reading it.
“Hey what are you doing!?” Hope asked
“I don’t trust you at all not to make this about you”
Katherine scanned the letter quickly and looked back at her. She put the letter back in the envelope and put it in her pocket.
“I’m not letting you see her” Katherine said
“Ok, just give her the letter”  Hope said as she left
Hope returned home to find Klaus in the living room with a blonde woman.
“Hope, where have you been?” Klaus asked
“I wanted to practice for the recital” Hope answered
“Hope, I would like you to meet someone, this is Cami, she’s a therapist” Klaus said
Hope looked at the blonde woman who leaned down a bit towards her.
“Hi Hope. I hope we become good friends” Cami said
“Are you dating my dad?” Hope asked
“Wow you weren't kidding when you said she was direct” Cami said
“Yes, Hope, we’re dating” Klaus answered
“I liked Caroline better” Hope said as she turned to go to her room
“Who’s Caroline?” Cami asked
Klaus was going through the mail when he saw a letter addressed to Hope. He looked at the handwriting and then flipped to the back and saw the return address. He ripped open the envelope and read the letter.
Dear Hope,
I’m glad to hear that you’re doing well. I hope your father is doing well too. Thank you for your letter. Best of luck in the future.
Sincerely
Caroline
Klaus ran up the stairs to Hope’s room. He opened the door without knocking and saw Hope watching TV.
“What is the meaning of this!?” Klaus yelled as he showed her the letter
“She wrote me back?” Hope said sitting up
“Why did you contact her!? Couldn’t you leave well enough alone?!”
“I just apologized to her! That’s all!”
“You will never contact her again!”
“I’m sorry! I just wanted to make things right”
“Why!?”
“I know I ruined things with Caroline. I know I was terrible to her, and a brat. I said some really mean things to her and chased her away”
“Did Katherine put you up to this?”
“No. I mean I spoke to everyone because I wanted to know why they were going to her wedding and not my ballet recital”
“I see, jealous rears its ugly head again”
“I mean at first I was, but they told me why they were going. And I realized how horrible I was to her, and she didn’t deserve that”
“No she didn’t, which is why you are never to contact her again!”
“But you miss her”
“That is irrelevant! You will not harass her anymore!”
“I’m just trying-”
“NO!”
Hope stilled and sat back. No was not a word her father ever said to her.
“You will NEVER contact her again”
Caroline was drunk and dancing in the club. Her bachelorette party was loud and crazy. She wore a tiara and a sash stating she was the bride. She laughed, and danced and spun around. Katherine was helping her into the limo.
“Thanks Kitty Kat” Caroline said
“Don’t ever call me that” Katherine said
“You’re claws are just as sharp as your ice cold glares”
“I try”
“I miss him”
“It’s ok, you’re going to be marrying him in a week”
“Not Stefan, him. When you gave me that letter, it just reminded me how much I miss him”
Rebekah climbed into the limo along with Bonnie, still holding the champagne bottle.
“If I knew you were going to be like this I would have burned the letter” Katherine said
“It was sweet, sorta, who knew that demon spawn child would turn out not so demony?” Caroline said
“What did we miss?” Bonnie asked
“I can’t believe I let that 5 year old terrorize me. She was so horrible to me. You’re not my real mother. Stop trying to steal my father. You’re just the wicked stepmother with ugly shoes” Caroline mimicked in a high pitch voice
“Ok you’ve had enough” Katherine said
“You’re only here because my dad pays you money. She made me sound like a whore. And then he had the nerve to tell her I was insecure”
“Ok, it’s over now. You’re going to marry Stefan now. He loves you, and doesn’t come with kids or baggage, well not that much” Bonnie said
“I know, is it wrong that part of me misses him?” Caroline asked
“My brother is a bloody wanker, and doesn’t deserve any of the time you’re wasting on him” Rebekah said
“You’re getting married in a week! It’s what you always wanted, a June wedding” Bonnie said
“Oh my god, a June wedding!” Caroline screamed out
“I know you don’t know me, but I’d like to get to know you better” Cami said
“Why? You just want to know my dad better” Hope answered back
“I see you’re deflecting here, and I understand that”
“No you don’t. Don’t try to tell me what I’m thinking”
“I’m a therapist, I have a degree in-”
“Whatever, I know you’re into my dad, don’t lie to me about it. I’m not stupid”
“I never said you were, I said you were deflecting and angry. What seems to be the root of your anger? Do you feel-”
“God you talk so much! Don’t you get tired of hearing yourself talk!?”
“I see this hostility towards a female figure in your life means you have some resentment issues over your mother leaving-”
“Shut up! Don’t ever talk about my mother!”
“I’m just trying to-”
Hope started screaming. The door flew open and Klaus stood there trying to see what was happening. He scooped Hope into his arms.
“What’s wrong?” Klaus asked
“She was talking about my mother!” Hope said crying
Klaus glared at Cami.
“I told you that subject was off limits” Klaus said
“Clearly it’s an issue we have to tackle” Cami said
“Not by you, leave now” Klaus said
“But-”
“NOW”!
Cami left. Klaus tried to soothe his daughter. Rebekah walked into the room.
“What was the screaming about?” Rebekah asked
“Nothing, it’s over now” Klaus said
“Good, I need to talk Hope about something” Rebekah said
“What about?” Klaus asked
“About Caroline, namely why is Hope contacting her?”

Gone 2
All chapter can be found here
In this chapter it becomes clear that some things don't go the way they did in the series, neither what happened in the first season, nor the second. Hope you like it.
Ella POV:
When I opened my eyes, my eyes saw, my greatest fear, a spider dangling in front of my face. I froze and pinched my eyes, hoping that this was just a nightmare and I would wake up right away, safely on the bus on the way home, where I was safe. I couldn't be anywhere else, even though my senses told me I was lying on something cold hard, it felt rough. Carefully I opened my eyes again and was confronted with the harsh reality, the spider still hung over me, reflexively I pushed away from the spider and fell the hard stone. For a moment all the air was squeezed out of my lungs, how did I get here? I had got off at my stop to take the bus home, but what had happened then, I could not explain.
"Well, you're awake," a voice tore me out of my attempts to reconstruct how I got here. The voice belonged to a dark-haired woman, she wore a long dress and had a Celtic knot as a pendant hanging on a chain around her neck.
Carefully I straightened up, my muscles protested at the abrupt effort, I was in a catacomb, around me candles lit up the room, in the corners there were cobwebs, only the inhabitants of the weavings were nowhere to be seen, something that worried me, I was just a big scaredy bunny when it came to spiders.
I had a phobia and even the smallest spider, shivered down my spine. Anything bigger than a penny piece, I was gone immediately.
"You understand English, don't you?" asked the woman, who was unknown to me, and it took me a few seconds to understand what she had just asked me. I found myself somewhere where english was spoken? Judging by their pronunciation, in America?
"What?" was the only word I uttered, automatically switching to English, something I thought was an annoying habit, as I immediately switched to Dutch, German or English when someone approached me and then just stupidly brought out whatto say.
"So you understand me", she stated and stepped closer, I automatically backed away, I didn't even know how I got here, let alone if this woman could not be dangerous. As if I was such a daredevil. Ha, ha, ha, good joke,I reprimanded myself.
I was really the parade example of an introverted person, except for work I went nowhere.
"My name is Isabella, I am superior of De La Crux Covens", she imagined, Coven? So how the Coven made it in the series The Originals? I didn't know any other series that called such a witch circle.
Why did I think of only The Originals as a series where witches were in circles? Why did I directly put the link with the series and no other, like Charmed.
"The name of my circle doesn't tell you anything?" Isabella informed herself and I looked at her in disbelief, how should I know her circle? I wasn't a witch or anything else, as far as I knew, I was a human being, no more, nothing less.
That being said, how the hell had I ended up here? In a catacomb, with candles that gave light.
"What's the point?" I wanted to be slightly irritated, I had the feeling to dream very vividly, something I hadn't had to experience before for my luck, but how was it possible that I was here? Just like that, in another country? Was I perhaps with the hidden camera?
"My coven and I have asked our ancestors to help us find a powerful being to protect us from a threat and they have found you," Isabella answered me and smiled slightly. threat? A powerful being? What I would hear next should sound incredible to my ears.
"A powerful being? What threat and where am I?" I wanted to know from her, I couldn't believe it, I couldn't suddenly be in somewhere where there were witches, magic and what else did I know.
"You are in Lafayette cemetery in New Orleans, according to my ancestor you are very powerful, but your potential still has tounfold," she answered me, without really giving me an explanation. I was in New Orleans, at layafette cemetery? What the hell?
Elijah POV:
Once again I had dreamed of the woman unknown to me, I found her again and again at two old weeping willows, her necklace was always the first thing that caught my eye, the dragon with the two purple colored stones. She wore them on a black ribbon and yet I could never see her face, I only ever caught a glimpse of her curly dark blond hair, which nestled unruly around her shoulders, at the slightest hint of the wind, the curls moved and when the sun hit her hair, individual strands lit up golden.
For months this dream haunted me, again and again I dreamed of her, followed her and yet I did not get a step further to find out who she was. Why did I dream of a woman unknown to me?
Why has this dream haunted me for several months? Did it have to do with the great harvest? When the ritual had been completed, I had noticed a shift, but where it came from, I could not explain even now, months later.
The timing of the dreams and the shift in power could not be a coincidence, but we had not noticed anything, the witches went their own way and had limited themselves to performing rituals for their young witches, so that they would come back to life, which unfortunately had not been crowned with success so far.
But most of all, the image of the pendant kept getting stuck, a silver dragon, with a dark purple colored stone and a bright purple stone, what did this pendant mean? I didn't know anyone with such a pendant or in combination with stones. Did these stones mean anything?
There were more important things I had to take care of now. I had to make sure that my niet was safe from the witches and any other threat.
She had died for the outside world, her mother had retired to the bayou and her father had not been seen in New Orleans for weeks. No one knew where he was, except me. I knew that Niklaus and Hayley both visited their daughter regularly while Rebekah was taking care of her.
Since we didn't know who was trying to kill a baby, we had decided to make the world believe that she had died and that her mother had almost failed to do it either, which wasn't even a lie, because Hayley would have almost died if she hadn't woken up as a hybrid and was now with her pack of which she belonged. , her parents would not have died after her birth.
When I left the property, I had no idea that the witches were planning something against my family and that a certain person would play a very important role, but even more this person, more puzzles, would then raise everything else.
On the way to the first item on my list that I mentally led, I noticed how unusually many tourists were traveling in the French Quater, so early in the morning. It couldn't be earlier than 7am and it was teeming with tourists.
But I had already noticed several changes, since the ritual had been completed and the young witches had not yet come back to life, little things changed. why? What was the cause?

Chapter Summary: While Klaus does everything he can to find her, he's already too late. Maleny is in her own personal hell thanks to Finn.
Because Maleny has been switched bodies once again, her temporary face claim is Adriana Louvier.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
New Orleans, 1914. Christmas Eve.
Maya Sterling, was patiently waiting for the bartender to hand over her newest drink. There were too many guests for her to keep up with and since Klaus was busy tending to his wayward brother, Kol, she was left on her own once more. Just as the bartender set her glass on the counter, Maya felt a sharp pain at the side of her head.
"Ooh…" she rubbed her temple but it was no use as she began seeing one of those visions again. The more it progressed the more she became lost in it, her painful expression turning into despondence. By the time the vision ended, she was more depressed than hurt. It was so odd seeing pictures in her head of other women, and with Klaus. What was this?
There was a clearing of a throat beside her and Maya found a blonde woman there, wearing a sparkly blue dress, and with a warm smile on her face, "Are you okay?" she politely asked.
Maya considered the woman one more pesky guest but knew she had to be polite. She wouldn't hear the end of it from Klaus and she sure hated his endless scolds. She gave a small nod, "Yes. Perhaps it's the drinks finally affecting my head. I've had a few."
The blonde studied Maya momentarily, almost unbelieving what she heard. Of course the golden-chained necklace around Maya's neck urged the blonde to insist more. "Are you sure it's only that?"
Maya nervously laughed, missing the lingering eyes on her necklace, "What else could it be? It's Christmas, it's loud, it's full of bourbon. I'm probably just tired. Klaus, he's, um, he's had me looking into this party for weeks. I'm running on low sleep."
The blonde's eyes flickered to the side as the Mikaelsons' began emerging from a downstairs room. Her attention was returned to Maya upon hearing the ginger quietly groaning with her fingers rubbing circles over her temples.
"I'm sorry," Maya apologized to the blonde.
The blonde's gaze on Maya turned into a sympathetic one, "Here," she promptly turned Maya around and gently placed her fingers on Maya's temples.
Confused, and frankly alarmed, Maya asked, "Wh-what are you doing? I swear to God if you do something Klaus will have your head-"
The blonde didn't look remotely afraid of the threat and merely smiled, "Calm down, it's only to help. Now stay quiet and relax," as Maya reluctantly closed her eyes, the blonde began to mumble words - that of a witch's spell.
In less than a minute Maya felt her head free of any kind of pain that had been bothering her more often, "Wow…" she whispered in awe, the blonde smiling brightly seeing Maya at ease now, "How did you...know to do that? Why would you do that?"
"Let's just say...I feel like I already know you," the blonde answered after a moment, something about her smile making Maya curious.
"Why would you-"
"Merry Christmas, Miss Sterling," the blonde smiled warmly at her once more before taking leave.
Cami walked into the kitchen of the safe house with a freshly woken up Hope in her arms, "Hope and I agree it smells pretty good in here," she chuckled as she plopped down on a stool at the isle and watched Elijah cook breakfast over the stove, "...and Hope also said she wants to eat it now."
Elijah glanced over his shoulder and saw his niece happily playing with a small toy in hand, "Are you sure it was Hope that said all that?"
Cami's lips raised into an innocent smile, "All hers. She is the only one who actually needs to eat food after all."
"Vampires can also have a liking for meals. So are you sure it's not actually the therapist that's quite literally trained to talk ears off?"
Cami's mouth fell open in feigned offense, "Oh, so now my sessions are just me talking your ears off? You are a rude person in the mornings."
Elijah turned over with a plate holding an omelette and sarcastically sighed, "Then I suppose Hope will just have to have this instead."
"Well…" Cami eyed the meal, "...I guess I can forgive you this one time…" she flashed him a smile before she chuckled.
Elijah put the plate down before her with his own smile, "I do thank you for helping me."
"I'm glad I've been of use," Cami replied back and sighed, "I haven't exactly finished my course but it's good to know that I don't totally suck at it. I mean, if I'm able to help thousand year old vampires then I can do anything."
"Of course you can," Elijah assured and turned back to the stove to clean things up.
He had to admit while he'd been initially reluctant to speak of his tremors in his mind - especially the Red Door - Cami was able to do more than what any other therapist, psychologist in the past could do. But perhaps he was a little bias since he was closer to Cami than the others. Sharing with her his fear of having no control over himself and thus accidentally hurting those he cared for was monumentally difficult for him, but he'd done it and he'd done it thanks to Cami. Although, after his meeting with his other brothers through Finn's elaborate 'prison' things had been stirred up. He was just glad at the last moment Finn was forced to take down the spell thanks to a spell from Amarrah and Davina.
"And I meant what I said," Cami's voice brought Elijah out of his thoughts. He stopped cleaning and looked at her, "I don't think you'd hurt anyone you love," she finished her sentence, "Could you really think yourself capable of hurting this little one here?" she gestured to Hope.
"Never," he replied instantaneously.
"Then you can start to forgive yourself," she ordered gently. She knew the origin of his problem laid in the fact he'd accidentally killed his first human love, a girl by the name Tatia, as a vampire. Esther had buried the memory deep into his mind, morphing it so that he believed she'd killed him for the vampire spell.
"Yes, while I can perhaps attempt to do that how do I...lose fear of myself?" he left the cleaning to return to the isle, "How can I be sure that I won't lose control anymore?"
Cami stared at him sadly, hating that she had to be so blunt about it, "You can't be sure...because they're your instincts. But you're you, Elijah, and you don't hurt your own."
"Shall we go back to when I nearly attacked you here?"
"Shall we also remember you apologized for it?"
Elijah was in no mood for sarcasm this time and simply frowned, "This isn't just about me, Cami. I don't want to hurt anyone in this family. I don't want to hurt you."
Cami reached for his hand across the aisle and gave it a grip, "Back when you almost attacked me, you disappeared. You showed restraint. Why?" she leaned forwards and whispered as if it were a grand secret, "Because you don't hurt family. Anyone else, please, feel free to rip their heads off."
Elijah managed to smile at that last remark, "I'll be sure to think of that if the need should arise."
"Good," Cami slowly took her hand back and looked at her breakfast plate, "So, thank you for the breakfast. Hope really appreciates it," she bobbed the baby who giggled in response.
Elijah watched the two interact for a bit with a smile across his face. He couldn't see himself hurting Hope for any reason; the same applied to Cami. He would rather succumb to any other torture his mother had for him than to ever have to think about hurting her...Hope...he meant Hope…

Klaus watched over Amarrah as she tried conducting yet another locator spell that would hopefully find Maleny for them. But just as the other times, Amarrah stopped her spell as nothing on the map placed before her happened.
With another failed attempt, Klaus sucked in an angry breath, "I am fighting the big urge not to rip your heart out right now!"
Amarrah looked up at him, no more pleased than he was, "You think I'm not trying here?"
"I don't know, let's ask the dozen previous times you've done this and failed," Klaus sarcastically snapped at her. He began pacing in the compound's courtyard while Amarrah tried once more the spell, "We have been at this for an entire stupid night and we're no closer than when we started!"
"I know that! But there's not much more that I can do," Amarrah sighed, "They took her and I suppose wherever she is now it's cloaked. It's gonna take me some time to get it done."
"What if we add another witch to the spell?" Klaus had stopped pacing to face her, "Davina may detest me but her feelings for Mal are pretty honest. Even when crossed with each other Davina would help."
"Yeah," agreed Amarrah, "except she's a little tied up trying to find Marcel and his vampires, remember that?"
Klaus made a distressed gesture with his hand as he thought of the other problem that risen in the past day. As Marcel and his vampires made it perfectly through the Quarter during its festival after Finn's boundary spell had been lifted, they'd all somehow disappeared in his loft. Finnn had taken them and with no way to find them. Davina had offered herself to go find them, or at least attempt to, while Klaus and Amarrah worked on Maleny's location.
"Do the bloody spell again!" he shouted the order. Any other time Amarrah would have told him he didn't tell her what to do, but in this case they were both working to get Maleny back. Without wasting another second, she attempted the locator spell again.

Rebekah Mikaelson had been having the worst week possible. Being stuck inside a body that hadn't been intended was one thing, but to be stuck in it and inside a witches' asylum was far beyond her tolerance. She'd been trying to come up with a way to escape and she believed there perhaps was one last hope she could use. Up in the asylum's second floor was a room containing one sole coffin with a girl inside - or so she thought anyways - that emitted great levels of magic she could use. The only thing she had to do then was wait for night to fall and conduct the plan.
Coming into her room, she was surprised to find the new girl standing before the window that overlooked the near desolate street. Rebekah slowly came in, wondering if she'd made a mistake by offering her an apple earlier. Witches were dangerous as it was but what about crazy witches?
"Why are you here?" the girl, a blonde, asked Rebekah without looking away from the window.
Rebekah raised an eyebrow at her, "Um, this is my room, remember that?"
The blonde shook her head, "No, not the room. I mean here," she gestured to the place, "Why are you here? You don't look crazy."
Rebekah crossed her arms, huffing, "I was trying to help my brothers. My con artist of a blood relation Kol betrayed me, got me stuck in here. I tell you, now I know how Maleny feels."
The blonde turned around so fast it almost appeared like a blur had done it. "M-Maleny?"
Rebekah, being too focused in her own problems, failed to notice the distinct appearance of someone that knew someone else. "If she was here now I bet she could give me some pointers," Rebekah muttered.
"What happened to the ginger woman?" the blonde suddenly asked.
"Ginger woman?"
"She had pretty hair but her head hurt so much," the blonde continued like Rebekah hadn't asked, "I felt bad for her. I helped her sometimes but she never knew why it hurt so much. Then again, I did leave after a year…"
"Okay…" Rebekah slowly stepped back, "...stay in the room if you'd like. I'll just be downstairs…"
"I was right, though, wasn't I?" the blonde hurried up to Rebekah, her curious dark blue eyes searching Rebekah's newly dark brown ones, "She was cursed the one?"
At the mention of 'curse' Rebekah immediately thought of Maleny, "How could you...how do you know...no," she shook her head and dismissed any suspicious thoughts, "It's not possible."
"What's not?" the blonde repeated, looking lost.
Rebekah smiled, "Nothing. But, listen, I think I found a way out of this hell hole. If you want to come with, meet me at the front door in tonight. Either way, wish me luck," with a pat on the blonde's shoulder, Rebekah turned and walked out.
The blonde, the unknown elder sister of the Mikaelsons', Freya, watched her younger sister leave with a smirk across her face. She'd learned in the short time she'd woken up Rebekah was resilient and kind - she liked her.

It appeared Amarrah was finally managing to break through the cloaked location of Maleny as things got moving on the map before. Klaus hurried back to intently watch. However, after a few seconds, everything just...stopped.
Confused, Klaus looked up to the French witch, "What is it now?"
Amarrah blinked and seemed to be in thought, "It just...it just vanished."
"What did?"
"...Mal," Amarrah looked to the side, "It's like, when you…" she swallowed hard, "...die. When you die your body ceases to have a location anymore so-"
"DON'T!" Klaus shouted in a threatening tone, making her flinch, "She is not dead. And if you dare utter another senseless word about this I will personally rip your tongue out."
Amarrah kept a straight face, despite feeling her heart beating faster. With this sudden news she now knew there was no protection against the hybrid's radical movements. "Then why is her location no longer available?"
"Because Finn is clever and he managed to do something to make it appear like she died," Klaus wasted no time to explain. He looked down at the map and noticed where the sprinkles of Amarrah's spell had stopped, "What's that place?" he pointed to it.
"Huh?" Amarrah looked down and studied its location, "It's, um...hm," she leaned closer to the map, "Actually, it's pointing us near the entrance to the bayou."
"Excellent, then we start there," Klaus smiled widely and turned to leave.
"Start what?" Amarrah called after him as she rushed to catch up.
"The search, of course. Hayley's over there right now and better yet with her husband-to-be. They have wolves willing to help."
"We should call Davina, then," offered Amarrah, "tell her what's going on."
"No, let her continue her efforts on Marcel. That way I can find Maleny first without a problem," and with that Klaus hurried off into a quicker walk, leaving poor Amarrah to sprint after him.

"What do we do with it now?" Benson questioned Ela as Maleny's previous corpse was once again being placed into a coffin.
Ela glanced over to the corpse, uninterested, "Finn said to keep it safe. Put it back in the plot at the graveyard."
"All the way back to the cemetery?" another of the wolves gawked at such a waste of time, "He literally made us carry this damn thing for a stupid spell?"
Ela upheld an annoyed look on the wolf before grasping her hand into a fist and causing him to go down to the floor with a snapped neck, "Anyone else have something to say?" the rest of the wolves cleverly kept their mouths shut, "Good," Ela smiled and motioned for the remaining wolves to carry the corpse away.
"How do we proceed now, then?" Benson inquired once more after the corpse was gone. He was eyeing the blonde woman laying on the table – Maleny's now once more empty body.
"There's one more thing we have to do to make sure the message is sent and received," she picked up a couple of old spell pages and began to study their content.

Young, or not so young, Freya Mikaelson was secretly back in the asylum room that held her coffin. She was trying to construct a spell that would allow her to search for that ginger woman of 1914. Even if dead, she being who she was, would at least get a reading off the corpse. She'd managed to snag a map from a downstairs office and quickly brought up to use it. She then placed her necklace down on the map, ripping it's beads off. If she'd been right and the ginger woman had been under some type of spell, the necklace would equal to that of the gingers necklace. It was ridiculous, she knew, how she was spending her first moments of life again on a woman she'd only known a year. But she wasn't doing this for herself, she was doing it for him.
"C'mon, Maya," Freya whispered and closed her eyes, "Or…perhaps Maleny?" she took a breath and began to chant a spell. Slowly, the beads off her aunt's necklace began moving around the map trying to pinpoint the location of Maya.
She was not surprised to find the location ending up at the Lafayette cemetery.
"Did they kill you the way they have been for so long now?" Freya whispered to herself, swallowing hard. "But if this body's there, and everyone's here...then you have to be here too."

A brunette woman panted as she ran across the trees and grass, doing her best to not to trip over her own feet. Her long, wavy brown hair bounced side to side as she crossed. It bore several pieces of twigs and leaves, but she didn't care. Her face was a bit dirty, but even then her brilliant sea-blue eyes were visible as they flickered from side to side, searching for any way out. She knew at the rate she was going, it was only a matter of time before she was caught.
She heard nearby noises and followed them through, knowing they couldn't be of the wolves since they were behind. She slowly crept up to see a small campfire of two people, a man and a woman both in their middle ages. She then saw their campfire along with some other tools...guns. they must have been hunters. She saw the pair were happily conversing over by their tent and decided if she wanted to survive she would have to do what it took. As quietly as she could, she tiptoed to the edge of the campfire and snatched up a gun. As soon as they heard the click of the gun, the pair whirled around to see the brunette holding the gun at them, though terrified as it seemed.
"Hey, hey, hey, easy," the man stepped in front of the woman with his hands raised, "Take the gun, take what you want, but don't hurt us."
The woman's eyes were shiny with tears, "I'm sorry," her clear, American voice cracked, "I don't...I don't do this...but they're forcing me…"
The man could tell the woman was not just a regular thief, she looked scared out of her mind, "If you need help, we can help."
The woman's eyes lowered to the pair's hands and saw no moonlight rings, "If you try they'll just kill you."
"What ever it is, we can help," the man assured her but it was no use. The woman took a deep breath before she shot the man's leg and soon after the woman with them.
"I'm sorry!" the brunette cried and took off again, this time with the gun clutched in her hand. Wolves were wolves in the end. They didn't need a stake to the heart to die.
She had run a good deal away from the campfire before she was violently pushed towards a tree, "Ah!" she fell on the side of her head against the bark and cut the side of her forehead as she fell down.
"Did you really think you could escape from us?" Ela emerged across the brunette, wearing a satisfied smirk across her face as two wolves came up behind her. "Climbing out of a window, though, clever," she gave a small laugh. "Now it's time to go back."
"No!" the brunette declared, "I'd rather die."
"Unfortunately, that wouldn't do you any good because in the next minute I'm going to make it so that you can't body jump. Maleny Rowan, this is your destiny in life: never to be in your own body."
The newly transferred Maleny breathed in and bit her own tongue to prevent fresh tears spilling. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction of seeing her cry, no matter how difficult it was. "We'll see about that," she pulled out the gun from behind and fired on one of the wolves, successfully killing them.
Ela stumbled onto the other wolf from the impact of the shot but ordered in time for Maleny to be captured. Ela then fixed herself and walked up to Maleny, harshly grabbing the new brunette by the chin, "You're going to regret that, darling."
"You will!" snapped Maleny who struggled to get free.
"Hm," Ela hummed and stepped back, rubbing her hands together.
Seconds later she began to perform a spell, one Maleny couldn't quite understand. But suddenly it didn't matter what she was saying as a terrible pain surged through Maleny's blood. The wolf let Maleny go as she screamed in utter agony. Her knees buckled and she fell to the ground. She felt something burn near her collarbone. Her hands flung to the spot, her screams cut up as she tried to breathed in. It was like fire as she felt something on her skin bubble and push upwards. Through her blurry vision she could see Ela smirking while doing the spell. When it finally stopped, Maleny dropped on her side, heavily panting and her hands still over her collarbone.
Ela watched her pant on the ground for a good minute, her smirk widening, "You will die now if you try to kill yourself for the sake of returning to your body," she informed and bent down in front of Maleny, "You see, death was too easy for you. Why kill if you won't even remember it when you wake up years from now in a new body? This way, Fin takes joy in seeing you miserable in a body of a wolf. And Klaus without the faintest clue how to help you. It's all glorious and quite well thought out. The ultimate punishment for you and Klaus Mikaelson."
Maleny rolled onto her back, slowly her breathing returning to normal. The pain over her collarbone was subsiding, but very little. It was now stinging with after-effects. She let Ela laugh it out with her remaining wolf - she reached for the gun she'd dropped not too far. She shot Ela straight on the chest. The blood splattered on her clothes and face but Maleny couldn't dwell over the blood as she had to deal with the last wolf still there. She tried using the gun again but the wolf yanked it out of her hand and chucked it to the side. She was pulled up to the wolf and kept in a tight hold.
"You're coming back with us," he told her as he started turning back for the direction they'd came in through.
"No!" Maleny exclaimed, digging her nails into the man's skin.
"Sorry, your frail little nails won't do crap," the man laughed mockingly.
Maleny stopped for a moment when she saw the moonlight ring on the man's finger. With a smirk she swiftly slid off the ring and promptly put it on her finger.
"Hey!" the man called as Maleny now easily got free from him.
She punched him across the face and was glad to see her strength doubling up with the ring. It seemed for once Esther had actually helped in a way.
"Lesson number one Klaus taught me after coming back," she proudly said after seeing the good results.
"You're gonna die now, bitch!" the man forgone all the plans and torture Finn had instructed.
Maleny backed away, momentarily scared of him. He was a lot bigger than her and more muscle. She knew she would have to...kill, again, to survive. She looked around for the gun and saw it across them. With a big breath she dashed over to it but the wolf managed to snag her by the ankle and pull her down. She ignored the pain on her collarbone as the ground rubbed against it, as well as the sharp rocks underneath scraping at her thin pants.
"Give me that back!" he tried prying the ring off her finger, practically straddling her for it. He only managed to scratch her hand.
"No!" Maleny got in a punch and used the moment of surprise to push him off her. She scrambled over the remainder of the distance and retrieved the gun, using it just in time to shoot the man dead. She dropped the gun and sat up, breathing in rapidly as she took a moment to realize what she'd done.
There laid Ela and her two wolves, shot dead...shot by her. She looked down at herself to her blood covered clothes and hands. There was a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach that was terrifying her. She'd just killed three people in less than five minutes. The lump in her throat was nearing her to the brink of tears as she felt her hair - hair that wasn't even hers - that was also mildly covered in blood. But she couldn't cry then, she couldn't afford to lose time. Ela had more than two wolves and after killing her and the two it was sure to become a hunt for her.
She picked up the gun once more and pulled herself to her feet. She looked around and debated which way would lead her towards the road again. In the end, she followed the wind's direction and hoped for the best.

Klaus struggled not to leave Amarrah behind as the woman tended to a call over cellphone. They were closing in on Hayley's wolf pack yet the witch seemed to be taking her sweet time walking.
"No, that's not right," Amarrah was saying on the phone, "Mother, I don't understand."
Klaus rolled his eyes and finally stopped to address the waste of time she was causing, "Will you hang up the bloody phone already? We're on the clock and you're going slower by the second."
Amarrah raised an eyebrow at him while she continued listening in to her mother's concern, "I understand now, Mother," she continued which angered Klaus more, "We'll figure it out, I promise. Bye," she hung up and returned her phone to her pocket.
"Nice of you to remember Maleny's situation," Klaus gave her a look before continuing to walk.
"That was my mother calling in with something of Maleny's," Amarrah began to explain, "You didn't listen in, did you?"
"I tend to have no interest in conversations you have, honestly," Klaus said casually as he looked around, missing Amarrah's glare, "I tolerate you simply because Maleny has affection for you. And, because I suppose thanks to your family she was able to come back."
"Thank the people who brought her to us," Amarrah rolled her eyes. "But listen, my mother says Maleny's channel of power with our coven has stopped."
Klaus stopped to turn to her, "And what, pray tell, does that mean?"
"What I said before," Amarrah shrugged, preparing herself for another round of shouts, "Maleny is gone."
"SHE IS NOT!" Klaus roared and turned around, facing her with a furious look.
"Then what else do you think happened!?" Amarrah shouted back, though in comparison to his shouts she sounded more like a whisper.
"Finn would not kill her," Klaus said after a long moment. "I know my brother well, and he wouldn't..."
"Then what would he do?" Amarrah demanded angrily, "Your family is full of maniacs if you haven't noticed! Can you even imagine what Finn's done with her? She could be suffering right now! She could be tortured!"
"Of course I've thought of that!" Klaus shouted back at her, outraged she insinuated he was thoughtless, "You seem to forget it's been me that's protected her?"
"And how has that gone, huh!?" Amarrah leaned forwards, putting them face to face, "I love my friend but she has chosen so wrong! Look where she's at because of it?"
"It's not my fault!" Klaus furiously declared, but his face expressed honest guilt that betrayed his statement.
Amarrah calmed down as she realized he was just as terrified of Maleny's state as she was. She took a deep sigh and rubbed her temple, "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Perhaps it's not your fault but you have to admit a lot of the dangers Maleny has faced are because of your family. If she wasn't with you, she would have been-"
"Dead," Klaus whispered, silencing Amarrah. He stepped towards her, "Without meeting me she would have been dead. Probably by the hands of her own father. So, yes, she's been in danger because of her connection with me," he started walking Amarrah backwards, "But she's been protected by me. She had a family with me, my sister, my brother - as wicked and sinister as my family was she was loved by us," he cornered Amarrah against a tree and leaned closer to her, his voice lowering, "You will do best not to question this topic again. It may not always go right but I always aim to protect Maleny. Always."
Amarrah relaxed when he stepped back and started to walk again. She didn't realize it but she found Klaus to be fear worthy. The way Maleny had described him back in France was nothing compared to what Amarrah was seeing. It was difficult to believe an actual relationship could exist between Klaus and Maleny.

Maleny swore she could begin to hear the faint noises of cars from the road. The moonlight ring had allowed her the supernatural hearing that would allow her to save her life. She'd been coming across more of Finn's wolves and was thankfully able to combat them to the point of putting them unconscious or death. Most of them she had to...put to death. Her gun had only one bullet left and was close to leaving her to defend herself with her bear hands. With each kill she acted on she felt more and more distraught. She felt awful, but it was better to feel awful or be dead.
She was not going to give them that satisfaction either.
Upon hearing crunching noises behind her she froze and turned around. There was no one to see but she could hear them coming...the wolves were coming to kill her. She swallowed hard and looked up to a tree with a loose branch. Closing her eyes and taking a breath, she decided how she would fight her last battle before she could make it home.

"No, we haven't seen anything weird," Hayley told Klaus and Amarrah after hearing the story of Maleny's kidnapping. The wolves that were no longer with Esther no longer wore the moonlight rings and therefore their hearing had been downgraded seriously. But even Hayley herself hadn't heard anything strange nearby.
"We're sure she's in the bayou," Amarrah insisted, "Before the spell was cut off the location pointed towards the bayou."
"Well maybe she's deeper," Hayley suggested, and looked at Klaus firmly, "But we'll help you find her."
"She's been gone for a near day, we haven't time to lose," Klaus frantically gestured for them to start moving.
"Now wait a minute," Hayley motioned them to stay still, "You said Mal stopped channeling magic from your coven," she looked at Amarrah.
"Yeah, my mother called in concern," Amarrah nodded.
"So that means she's either dead-"
"No," Klaus gave her a pointed look.
"What if they started the curse again and she's not even here anymore?"
Klaus refused to believe that and shook his head, "She's here, I know she is."
"Okay, but what if she's not-"
"SHE IS!" Klaus cut her off with a loud shout, his anger rising with each second that passed by, "She is still here and I will look for her through every last bloody part of this bayou until I find her - with or without you."
Hayley gave him a long look, surprised of his hope in Maleny's survival. She supposed she could be optimistic like him until they saw something that would tell them it had gone wrong.
"Or," she began anew again, about to earn another shout from Klaus when she finished with, "she could have body jumped again."
The idea left Klaus and Amarrah thinking for a minute. They hadn't even considered that idea in the whole time they'd been out searching and Hayley saw it.
"Death would be to easy of a punishment," Klaus said to himself, a smirk worming across his lips. "That would be clever-"
"That would be awful," snapped Amarrah, sending him a glare.
"But she would be alive," Klaus pointed at her, still in thought.
"Yeah, but her connection to my coven doesn't exist anymore," Amarrah needed to remind. "Even if she's switched bodies, our spell was designed to carry it out no matter what."
"What about a wolf's body, then?" Hayley finally cut in, making them both look at her oddly. "Finn wouldn't be stupid enough to put her into a vampire's body. He'd be creating someone he couldn't control. Put her into a wolf's body and you've got a ticking time bomb if she doesn't wear his moonlight rings."
The idea was even more distraught-provoking.
"If she was placed into a wolf's body then she has a better chance of surviving than if she remained in her witch's body," Hayley added then noticed Amarrah's displeased look, "No offense."
"All taken," Amarrah said nonetheless, "Witches can do a lot of things, alright? We can-"
"Spare us the lecture, Amarrah," Klaus dismissed her with a wave and turned around to the settlement of wolves, "How do we begin the search, then? Mal can literally be anyone at this point."
"Well," Hayley stepped forwards and looked at the settlement herself, "There's no one missing here and all the other wolves are with Finn so…"
"Finn used one of his own," Klaus smirked at the idea, "That's gonna cost him in the long run - as well as be incredibly useful to us later on."
"Can we ask Aiden?" Amarrah thought to ask.
"No, he's completely out," Hayley shook her head, "They just turned in all the moonlight rings earlier. Finn wouldn't tell him anything anymore."
"So then how do we look for someone we don't even know?"
"I would assume the locator spell is out of the question?"
"You would assume right," Amarrah gave Hayley a nod before looking out to Klaus, "Any ideas?"
Klaus hated his answer and the reality of their situation, "I have no idea," and he despised not knowing what to do next.

"She's around here, her scent is strong. Look close, Kenzie," a young wolf told his other friend, a young woman, as they entered a small clearing.
"Alan is right, we better find her," a second woman emerged across the small plain they were in, "She's killed five of us now."
"She's not as stupid as we thought," the first woman, Kenzie, shook her head.
Just then, a bullet rang and the second woman was shot through the chest. As she fell to the ground, Kenzie and Alan looked up into the direction the bullet had come through. Maleny shot down from the top of a tree and fell upon Alan with a piece of branch in hand. It had been fastened into a sharper object, not a stake but enough to cause damage.
"What the - get off me!"
"NO!" she furiously screamed and stabbed the shaped branch into Alan's abdomen.
"Get the hell off him!" cried Kenzie. She lunged for Maleny and knocked her to the ground. She punched Maleny on the face before Maleny kicked her off.
Maleny scrambled to her feet and breathed in heavily, her lungs hurting from all the running she'd done, "Please, just go," she motioned, "I don't...I don't want to hurt anyone else...please. Just go."
Kenzie's eyes narrowed down on the brunette, "You killed my friends and you want me to let you go? Maybe you are as stupid as we thought. I don't care what Finn said to do, you're gonna die."
Maleny tried running off but the woman tackled her to the ground. Maleny felt her cardigan and part of her blouse rip with the force of the tackle. The next thing she knew Kenzie was raising her up from the ground and throwing her against a tree. The sharp jab of the bark hitting her back made Maleny scream. She was so tired by that point she wondered if there was even a chance she could perhaps escape.
Kenzie had left her to pick up the branch Maleny had dropped in with and looked it over, "You have good wood skills," she remarked and looked up at Maleny, "I suppose you learned this in one of your past lives?"
Maleny wearily looked at the branch and felt a lump in her throat as she remembered.
The village was celebrating a festival for the Gods full of dancing and eating and games of all sorts. But while everyone was gathered at the center to celebrate, Klaus preferred to stay on the outsides on his own. He'd once again had a falling out with Mikael that ended in a near fight if Esther hadn't intervened. The last thing Klaus wanted to do was celebrate some silly festival. He preferred where he was now, calmly carving onto the piece of wood he'd snagged earlier.
"I knew I would find you here," Maleny's voice made him look up from his work. The blonde was approaching him with a smile, "I was getting lonely out there, everyone dancing...you know Mateo asked me if I wanted to dance."
Klaus watched her sternly as she took a seat beside him, "...you said no right?" his tone implied a warning for the other man's fate based on her answer.
Maleny just smirked, "You should have been there," she replied and laughed when he grumbled and returned to his carving. Maleny propped an elbow on her lap to rest her chin on her palm, "What are you doing now?" she curiously asked.
"You'll have to wait until it's finished," Klaus answered and glanced at her to see her curiosity. She always liked his little creations even when they were things he'd quite literally made up. He stopped carving for a minute and smiled, "Do you want to try?" he offered.
Maleny's half widened at the idea, "I don't know how to do that stuff. I'll just ruin it for you."
Klaus laughed and pulled her closer to him, "It's actually quite simple," he assured her as she took the tool and wood piece.
"Easy for you to say. You've been at this since you were a kid," Maleny lightly squealed as Klaus pulled her onto his lap, "Klaus, someone will see us…" she blushed.
"Nah, they're all too focused on their festival," Klaus shook his head then smirked, "Besides, you're worth the trouble."
Maleny looked at him, blushing deeper, "Am I?"
"Definitely," he promised her with a sound kiss then proceeded to guide her through the carving manners as best as he could.
Maleny scrunched her nose and acquired new motivation to keep fighting, "Klaus taught me," she leaned off the tree, "And he taught me many other things!" she growled and lunged on the Kenzie. She grabbed the branch and slammed it over Kenzie's head, "I AM NOT LOSING!" Maleny gritted her teeth as she hit harder and harder.
By the time Kenzie had fallen Maleny was sobbing. She fell back on the ground and threw the bloody branch away from her. She pulled herself up to her feet and hugged herself, though quickly felt the fresh blood on her clothes then. She ran a hand through her messy, knotted hair and looked at the newest murder scene she was responsible for. She sniffled and ran off once again, hoping to finally find her way home.

Now at night, Rebekah had put her plan to escape the witches asylum. She'd roamed the upstairs floor for her friend's, Cassie, room since they were going to be escaping together. But when she found it completely empty she grew worried and rushed down the hallway in search of her. She noticed, however, the secret room holding Freya's coffin (though Rebekah didn't know it was Freya's coffin) was opened. She stepped inside to find one of the evil witches in charge was dead on the floor, her face covered in blood. Rebekah went for the coffin and cleared off some dust to see there was no girl inside anymore!
At the sound of creaks Rebekah turned around to see her friend Cassie walking in, bearing the same type of scars as the witches in charge bore.
Rebekah blinked, "Cassie. Cassie, where the hell have you...
"I'm sorry, Rebekah, but you didn't leave me much choice," the young teen said, "I told you, there's no escape. I had to turn to the only people I knew I could trust…" behind her came a swarm of witches with canes and fireplace pokers, "And I told them that they had to deal with you. My only regret is that I didn't stop you before you killed one of our own…" Cassie gestured to the dead witch in the room, "And now you have to be punished.
Rebekah stepped back, horrified at the betrayal, "No. I didn't kill her... though, to be fair, I won't miss the ugly cow. Hrrgh…" she wasn't about to let them take her back so she began to fight. She elbowed on witch on the face and kicked another on the legs. However, one managed to get her on the head and knocked her to the floor. Rebekah fell with a thud and was about to be hit again when the witch was flung to the wall. Rebekah raised her head to see Freya at the doorway, comically bored at the scene.
"You're all so mean," she frowned, "like the mouse that torments the cat in those cartoons. I think you're the ones who need to be punished," she raised her arms up and sent the other two witches into the walls. The remaining witch, Cassie backed away, but Freya was not going to let her free, "The others were just ignorant bullies but you, you're a smart girl, powerful, and yet you still betrayed a friend," she'd walked straight up to Cassie and grabbed her head, forcing an infliction pain on her head. Cassie screamed as blood poured from her eyes and nose until she eventually fell to the floor, dead.
"I despise traitors," Freya declared in a nonchalant tone then turned to the first dead witch and snatched back her necklace that had been taken earlier.
Rebekah had watched the entire scene in silence on the floor and wondered if she was to be afraid as well. Freya noticed her sister's bandaged hand so she took it into her own hands and healed it with with a spell.
Rebekah rose to her feet and flexed her hand, "How did you do that?" Freya smiled but instead of answering she led the way out of the room.
Rebekah was stunned as they literally walked out of the asylum without a problem. Freya had used her magic to open telekinetically the doors of the place and led Rebekah down the front porch steps.
"You're her, the all-powerful girl in the coffin…" Rebekah had slowly began to realize, "That's how you did magic... But why didn't you just tell me?"
Freya stopped walking and looked back, "I'd only just woken from a century of sleep. I wanted to know you, see what you were really like, and you didn't disappoint me. There's a spark in your, Rebekah. You're willful, also kind. You're not half as bad as our brothers."
Rebekah raised her eyebrows, "What did you say?
"You're right, you know. We met once before…" Freya continued to smile, "Christmas party in 1914. I was so desperate to catch a glimpse of my family, I even made a friend. Rebekah, you know who I am."
"You're the girl in my nightmare. It really is you…" Rebekah breathed in, her eyes becoming shiny with tears, "Freya."
Freya continued walking towards the gates and gripped her hands around bars, casting a spell, "Destruccive glas enfala. Destruccive glas enfala," the spell that had been used to keep witches inside the asylum was brought down in a snap. Freya turned to Rebekah afterwards, "I slept 100 years, and now finally, I'm free. Tell our brothers I'll be coming to see them soon, and I expect nothing less than their best behavior," she telekinetically ripped the gates off their hinges and then walked out, "First, I have to pay my respects to a fallen friend at the cemetery," she said quietly and started down the sidewalk, barefoot.
Rebekah stared after her in awe and confusion. She then started on her own journey back to the compound, running as fast as she could. She had so much to tell the others and frankly she was itching to slap Kol on the face for his little prank. But when she reached the compound she was confused to find all the lights off and basically no one home.
"Nik?" she called out in the middle of the courtyard, but no one answered, "Elijah?"
Where the hell was everyone?
"Hayley!" she called again and decided to go upstairs. It was then she missed her super hearing which would save her the time of searching. Just as she was reaching the stairs, she heard low groans from the entrance of the compound. Slowly, she peered out to the entrance and saw the shadow figure of a woman leaning against a wall, using it to get herself inside.
"Klaus?" she was calling as well, her voice shaky and frankly in fear, "Klaus, where are you?"
Rebekah began walking for the woman, intrigued by the unknown woman, "Who the bloody hell are you?"
Maleny raised her head to see the dark-skinned woman with black, curly hair and frowned, "Who are you and why are you in here? What did you do to him? What did you do to Klaus?"
Rebekah could see the woman was injured and thus unable to put up any fight. Of course then she saw the moonlight ring and stepped back, "You're one of Finn's wolves, aren't you? I swear to God I'm getting Finn for this...though he may have to wait in line for Kol."
Maleny raised an eyebrow and momentarily forgone her current problem to really look at the woman in front of her, "R-Rebekah? Is that you? This is the body Kol put you in?"
Rebekah frankly didn't like seeing the strange woman know so much about her, "How do you know that?"
Maleny's eyes teared up again, "Rebekah, it's me," she gestured to herself, "It's Mal…" Rebekah's eyes widened, "Finn...he did this to me," and after such an awful day Maleny finally burst into sobs.
Rebekah caught the brunette before she fell forwards and while confused she simply held Maleny closer, feeling that the woman needed a sisterly hug.

Barefoot, Freya had found her way to the Lafayette cemetery on her own. She'd done a spell to locate her friend's gravestone but was confused to find the location being in a plot area that read 'Dawson' instead.
Stumbling back with a deep scowl, she glared at the plots. "We meet again," she muttered.
