#I got shot with a pellet gun this morning taking the dogs out??? or at least presumably a pellet gun???#we are in a rural town so there's every chance somebody was shooting squirrels and missed or something#bc my yard isn't fenced#but also it came from a direction that didn't make sense and I didn't see anybody but it left a mark on my skin#so like... maybe neighborhood kids thinking it's funny??#idk if it happens again my mom said she's gonna call the cops and at least get a paper trail#it was probably kids screwing around or an accident but now I'm scared to be in my own yard
