"Here's a mostly vertical level. This is a great place for you to find all of the collectables and do some fun challenges. It's a very relaxing and lovely place."

The trail conditions this winter are not the best for riding, they fluctuate so much during the freeze / thaw cycles. Most of the trails were still frozen, which are perfect for traffic. There were sections of the trails that were thawing and had a slurry of mud on top of frozen ground. Hiking or riding muddy trails causes damage and more work for trail crews in the spring. Our job was to avoid those areas, and we ended up turning around and back tracking multiple times. Mr. Fenton and I did get a lot done cleaning up logs and debris from the trails we were able to hike.
Riding season cannot get here fast enough.

Valenfangs ~ Day 6: Walk in the Park/Heart-Shaped Locket
Armand and Louis are taking a walk through Central Park. It’s a cloudy night and the scent of rain is in the air; this doesn’t stop them from going out though. Louis is set to join Lestat in France the next night, whereas Armand is, at least for the time being, remaining at Trinity Gate. They want to make the most of their last night together.
They’ve been walking side by side making idle conversation for the best part of thirty minutes, though that dwindles down so they’re merely enjoying each other’s company as they observe the lives of mortals passing around them. Their strolling takes them under a canopy of trees, sheltering them from the droplets of rain that have just begun to fall.
“You can come and visit any time you like, you know. I’m sure Lestat won’t mind despite what he’ll say.” Louis says.
“And disturb the peace of his precious court? I wouldn’t dare.” Armand’s tone is dry but Louis knows him well enough to know he’s only joking. “Don’t forget, the same applies to you too. Don’t let Lestat keep you hostage at that château of his.”
“He’s not my keeper. I’ll be able to come and go as I please.”
“Make sure it stays that way, or else I’ll be forced to swoop in and rescue you.” Armand teases.
