Help. I haven't move on from Enies Lobby. Franky & Robin easily become my favourite straw hat and i ship them together. The fact that "Frobin" is actually exists and many people ship them is such a relief to me. I'm not alone here. I can't help myself but the Frobin brainrot is so real when i watch the anime and my main focus is THEM in the background. Like I would devour every tiny pieces of them. Thank you Oda. bro, bro do you understand, they hated each other it was always me or him, no and. they were pre pubescent and squeaking about he pushed me i pushed him back it was nothing it was just an inchident. they were like mortal enemies or some overdramatic shit cooked up under a mop of monagasque hair like bruh you were three, any puddle was proportionally the size of the pacific. now fast forward to when theyre like three and a half and it's smiles it's the best fun of my career it's i want this for another fifteen twenty years it's i know how strong he is it's touching hands and necks and arms and looks, really really soft looks (soft_wilted_cabbage.img), and it's nice (what's nice??) bc it means we know each other well (is it nice that you met so early, is it nice that your lives met the way they did again again and again, are you glad for it????) . they went from we didn't even say goodbye to we say hellow now to try and stop this middle-of-the-media-pen debrief and we couldn't stand each other to complete tunnel vision on that podium(tm) - miss ma'am did you see those fucking smiles, that grin, the pure elation, the ecstacy - and our relationship wasn't that great to laughing together and holding each other and respecting - admiring - each other to unshakeable degrees, we have a good relationship, from literal scowls to immediate smiles when asked about the other person and from never giving a single inch on track to understanding that, to loving that, to seeing it as a mirror and loving that too, and from, from grr to like, love heart love heart, likw- DO YOU UNDERSTAND—

what’s your favorite and least favorite 2011-2013 loki outfits?

which of loki’s outfits would you most like to wear?

I don't think I could possibly pick a least favourite, but I will talk about the details in his costume design I love the most.

And before I get to the tangential rant, to answer your question- I think my favourite is the TDW one and I'd wear his prison outfit (it looks so comfortable!).

Now, let's talk about the details:

I think one of my most favourite is the overall symbolism we see in his outfits.

-I'm sure you already know about this one, but the inspiration behind the shape of his collar being the faux calla lily is a great example. (X) (concept art by Charlie Wen)

-the triquetras! There are so many triquetras seen on Asgard and Loki's got them too. (X)

-the helmet: Apart from the fact Loki and Thor's helmet designs, when combined, make up Odin's helmet design (X), I love the difference between the horns in Thor 1 and The Avengers and how well it goes with the theme of the story.

-then there's the Jörmungandr & Fenrir symbolism in his armour seen in The Avengers (and the overall complexity of it!)

-I really like the layers / the "serpentine like design":

-I find the colour scheme of his costume very fitting (and they're my favourite colours)

-the golden piece on his chestplate is just such a good recurring motif

-and what I find interesting is the amount of gold we see in each movie and its meaning:

His Thor 1 armour is very sleek and elegant. Almost appearing untouched.

In The Avengers, it's much darker and worn. The gold we do see is mostly an illusion.

And in TDW, the gold is the most damaged. He still looks just as powerful, but you can tell he's been through something.

-I haven't even touched on the Midgardian outfits yet, but I think they reflect his elegance really well (tumblr only allows 30 images per post sooo X, X).

-about Loki's prison outfit: I would say, this is him at his most vulnerable and the choice of clothing does convey that. I also really like the reference of his sleeve design. (X)

I opened Pinterest for the first time in months.

That made me realize a lot about how bad I was actually doing and how much of a Waffle House Index use of Pinterest is for adult me, apparently.

I hadn’t realized it had grown that foundational to me in a healthy-brain-exercise-and-hobby-joy way. Nice to know moving forward! It’s another sign I can keep track of and use to spot correlation/indicator patterns earlier my behavior.

I love this kind of thing, it makes me so excited!

hi waffle!! you literally gave me an au i've never thought about writing in my entire life lmaoooo

so *cracks knuckles* let's get into itttttttt

Dick is the immortal of the two. But like, not in a very voluntary way? For this AU, I would imagine Dick is the original Talon for the Court in the 1600s. Obviously his body would deteriorate over time or just be too butchered in fights to be salvageable, so they stick him on ice and switch his “mind and soul” over to another (a blood relative and maybe later on clones when the technology is established, but he always refers to himself as Dick or Talon). We’ll say the Court can do this via magical god shenanigans. Jason is the reincarnation. So, every third generation the Gunn family somehow gives birth to a boy (aka Jason) but otherwise only have girls. (Short note: we’re going to make Catherine the Gunn relative instead of Willis for this AU).

Jason and Dick grew up together, either same age or close in age. Played together as kids, caused trouble together as teenagers, and fell in love as young adults. And then Dick disappears, forcibly becoming the court’s Talon because it’s his “familial duty.” Jason tears Gotham apart looking for his lost love, uncovering corruption and capturing criminals in the process of digging up evidence of the Court, and he becomes somewhat of a folk hero as time passes.

Unfortunately, the Court knows Dick is too attached to Jason and Jason’s on a mission, he won’t stop until he finds Dick and stops them. Not sure how we’d get to the next point but basically, Dick is forced to kill Jason for the Court and Jason vows on his dying breath he’ll free Dick from them because Dick was the only one who cared about Jason, who loved Jason despite his flaws and his bad blood. I imagine the Court had captured Jason and brought him to their secret lair or wherever they keep their god, and because Jason made that vow with his last breath, his blood and Dick's tears staining the stone entombing a god, an entity of magic and promises, it gave Jason (and Dick's unspoken hope) his wish. But with a twist.

Henceforth, every three generations the Gunn family has a son. A son who is almost always baptized as Jason. The Court tries often to kill him as a child, especially once they realize Jason as an adult always digs his claws into the Court and tries to drag them into the light. What the Court doesn’t realize, is that Jason only reincarnates if Dick, if Talon, kills him. This could go either way: only Jason knows Dick has to kill him to be reincarnated and try again, and has to orchestrate his plans and strategies around either winning or having Dick kill him OR only Dick knows and he has to make sure the Court sends him to kill Jason, knowing Jason will only come back if Dick’s the one who does the deed, Dick who can never truly help the man he loves free him from the Court.

The Court often gets what they want over the centuries, however, and Jason dies before he can truly stop them or save Dick. Over and over again, throughout the centuries and the bodies, Dick kills Jason and Jason comes back to save him. I think eventually it would end when Jason is adopted by Bruce Wayne aka Batman and together (maybe alongside Commish and a Batgirl), Jason is finally able to stop the Court and save Dick. And Jason and Dick can finally live, love, and grow old together :)

Oh boy... not..... good....

I think that Waffles gets why Milkshake has to fight. And I think a part of them feels like maybe they should be grateful for it- but he hates seeing all the violence and he hates seeing his sister turn into something emotionless.

I also haven't explored this yet, but he and Milkshake got trapped in the Battle Nexus pretty young so I imagine there was a period in time when he didn't quite understand the purpose of Milkshake fighting, which would have definitely caused some sort of conflict...

Also when they get out of the Battle Nexus (I think I've mentioned this before?) Milkshake gets into wrestling. I think that would have really affected him too. The idea that he's been thinking that they are only fighting because she has to but then she's also fighting by choice... like he would have had this moment where he was like, "Maybe she's not being forced to be/act like a monster. Maybe she is a monster. Or maybe she's been trapped in that role for so long she has become a monster."
