I wanna know what the Squats sound like when they’re singing, because they canonically have war songs.
Actually, it’s probably just Diggy Diggy Hole, isn’t it?
They do sing stuff like Diggy Diggy Hole, but they have the musical cadence of the dudes singing Vode An in Star Wars: Republic Commando. They have the single best and most stirring rendition of Heigh-Ho you've ever heard. And the Ironkin provide all kinds of electro, bass and synth backing.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Today I played a fun Sangium themed game of KillTeam today! It was the helpful HearthKyn Salvagers VS the grinchy Gellar Pox Infected.
The mission was a custom one. 10 present tokens where place on opposite deployment zone by each player. If you carried a present back to your board edge you’d score 2 VP. If you ended the game with a present in your hand you scored 1 VP
In the end, the Jolly Helpers cored 5 VP to 9 VP.
Was a lot of fun and enjoyed playing on such a cool looking board.

High Kâhl Hirðir Unfrid of the N7 Conglomerate

First step into Votann after my tester mini a while back. Again, I’m using a loose Mass Effect theme for the army, and decided early on that the N7 armour was the way to go for HQ choices.
I want to use these as Ymyr Conglomerate eventually, so dropped red accents where I could (Tassles and such, in addition to the stripe on the right arm), chose a bright copper for the metals to signify rank but keep to that warmer side, and everything else just pulling from the armour itself.
I had to give him a Carnifex, it was the pistol I used a lot when I played ME2. And trying to mimic the Omniblade effect on the Plasma Axe was tricky - It’s lots of thin layers of Vallejo Fluorescent Red over white ink, then feathering a fluo red/white ink mix toward the edge. Looks fine, and gets the added bonus of looking awesome under a blacklight (See last pic).
I don’t do NMM usually (Personal feelings on it, that’s a diorama technique that I feel is overvalued on gaming pieces) but went with that sort of look on the armour as he’s being put into a contest on a painting Discord group I’m part of. Came out fine I think, but likely won’t be do it much more.
