galtean klance au where keith is allura’s guard and like axca or someone is lance’s guard and they’re super protective of their respective royals to the point where axca won’t let lance take anything from his people (he gets annoyed at her and snatches the gifts back from her) and keith won’t let lance into allura’s room despite the fact that they’re literal siblings (lance decides to annoy keith and bang on allura’s door with both hands right by his head until allura lets him in). this causes lance to start a rivalry with keith bc wtf? it’s literally his sisters room? who do u think u are? and starts sneaking away from axca bc she’s very overbearing. the rest of the plot is up to You.

Allura is eleven? Coran is Jim?

Lance is Mike? Keith is Will? (Creates that /canon/ love triangle? And then Pidge and Hunk are Lucas and Dustin? Veronica as Nancy and Axca as Johnathan <3

Lotor as Billy and Romelle as Max? Matt as Erica but maybe as a older sibling? Adam as Robin? Idk but shiro gets a bf. Kolivan or Krolia or Texas as Joyce? (Not shipped with chief coran though as beautiful as Joyce and hopper’s love is) the lab and upside down is Zarkon and evil crew

And I know with the klance rivalry it would be more like Keith as Max but shiro would never be billy and then the klance endgame couldn’t really work (unless we went with Lance as eleven and elmax?)

I can also see it switched with Lance as eleven?

Axca opened her eyes. Squinting in the neon blue light before her. Slowly she sat up as her ears picked up a sharp and startled yelp. It was almost like...almost similar to some video feed.

She jumped to her feet. Staring right into the eyes of another startled looking person. Then realizing those eyes belonged to the one who brought her here. Her eyes sharpening at his own. Before they looked up to a similar shout. Eyes focusing on the group of large mechanical beings surrounding them.

Some seemed to be arguing as one being with an all-blue pallet was pointing at them and making a motion with her mechanical hands-- a squashing motion while pointing at her and the mysterious being.

The other one-- a golden pallet shook their head --arms crossed, as they spoke in a different solution.

While the rest looked at them in concern, pity, and disgust... a few stared in awe at this tiny feline, offering their digits to the little being.

Hi! I was wondering what other vld ships you like/ship? If you don’t mind me asking

Though it's been a hot minute since I've really indulged in vld outside of working on LB, I'm one of those multishippers who can be persuaded on mostly anything so long as the narrative is compelling enough (particularly so far as Keith is involved)! My staples tend to be keitor (obviously) & sheith, but I have a fondness for fics that explore keith/kuron, keith/james, keith/regris, keith/allura, keith/matt in an interesting manner, and I've even read a few solid pieces featuring keith/lance, keith/kolivan, and (most surprisingly of all) keith/zarkon.

So far as non-keith-centric ships are concerned, I'm far choosier, but lotura is always a heartbreaker, ezor/zethird is cute but seldom written (bonus points if axca is their fwb third), shiro/ulaz lends itself to a tender sort of angst, and zarkon/honerva is just outright sad.

I can also go for all the above in a non-romantic sense, of course, but my major platonic dynamics are Pidge & mostly everyone, Keith & the entire BoM, and Lotor & the galra girl squad.

Less so than the ships themselves, it's actually the manner in which any given dynamic is written that sees me become particular: the portrayal of the characters, their mannerisms, their interactions with one another, the circumstances in which they've come together, etc etc... but if you have any fics that you would absolutely swear by—whether they feature a ship listed here or not—then by all means send them my way!

#as you can probably surmise I like dynamics with a little bit of ✨spice✨#it's about the //tension//... the //bite//... out-and-out sweetness is nice and all but it just doesn't grab me yk?#tbh you could probably even persuade me on a sendak fic if it was written in the right way #here's the thing: the dynamic doesn't necessarily have to be 'healthy' per say but the author //needs// to know what they're doing #the best example i can think of for this isn't even VLD it's a LoZ ghiralink fic uhh hang on—#'How Does It Feel' by Maiz_of_Light on ao3 #now THAT is how you write a //deeply// greymoral dubious & dark scenario with the appropriate sensitivity #sa screams back #the author speaks

but Matt is a goofy memelord at his heart so don’t take his word on for everything as he’ll make a dumb joke or a reference and secretly it cracks both keith and acxa so much

so for sexuality:

i’d say that Matt is bisexual and he just can’t get over the fact that he’s DATING BOTH KEITH AND ACXA

he’s smitten and head over heels for those two edgelords

Keith would be Bisexual but I feel like he’s got less experience with women and he just didn’t question the fact that he wasn’t fully straight (his emo self in middle school was convinced he deserved nobody)

Acxa i would say is Bisexual too but I feel like being queer and retracted to the same sex is normalized in space and in other galaxies so she’d be confused when Keith and Matt open up and tell her about some of the biphobia they’ve faced back on earth

Ex i just made up:

Axca furrowed her brows, face showing an incomprehensible expression of what at best seemed like confusion.

“So, you’re telling me that humans on Earth are appalled by it? I can understand the fact that inter species relationships are rare but, that, seriously?!you’ve got to be kidding me…”

So yeah Acxa is going to have some culture shock by humans when she goes to Earth for the first time with the rest of the VLD crew
