Moscow security forces carried out raids on gay nightclubs, bars and saunas in the city center on Friday night, according to media reports, a day after Russia’s Supreme Court effectively banned the international LGBTQ+ movement in Russia, labeling it an “extremist” organization.

Police searched venues across the Russian capital, including a nightclub, a male sauna, and a bar that hosted LGBTQ+ parties, under the pretext of a drug raid, local media reported. Eyewitnesses said clubgoers’ documents were checked and photographed by the security services.

Ostorozhno Novosti Telegram news channel reported that, on the pretext of searching for drugs, police raided a club on Malaya Yakimanka where a party for the LGBT community was taking place.

The answer to this question is complicated.

Celebrities are often referred to within astrology because their lives are put on public display, making them easy targets for interpretation. This is especially true when it comes to their appearance. However, I don't think celebrities should be referred to for accurate interpretations on appearance. Celebrities are more attractive in comparison to the general population, that's why they're famous. Plus, money and access to resources such as plastic surgery and specialized spa treatments are going to have a greater affect upon a persons appearance than astrology ever will. This doesn't mean that I think the images of celebrities shouldn't be used for visual examples, just that they should be taken with a grain of salt.

With that being said, I don't think beauty indicators are 100% reliable. Beauty is incredibly subjective. Some might find a Lilith first houser to have an intimidating beauty, but other people might consider their appearance to be strange and off-putting. Of course, the aspects Lilith is making within your chart are going to generate an effect as well.

Also, your appearance is going to change significantly throughout the course of your life. There are going to be years in which you face struggle and hardship, you might become injured or face severe illness for a prolonged period. Are you going to be your most beautiful, sexy self through these points in time? Fuck no, and you shouldn't expect yourself to be. Sometimes staying true to your authentic self despite its ugliness is more powerful than being beautiful.

Kim Kardashian is commonly referred to when speaking on beauty indicators within astrology, and look at how much her appearance has changed throughout the course of her life. Towards the late 2010s, she was publicly criticized for having a "diaper butt," and people thought that she destroyed her face with filler and a bad nose job. However, within the past few years, she's made significant modifications and is yet again being publicly praised for her beauty.

I have seen beauty indicators within birth charts of people who I don't think are very attractive. But who knows? Maybe they weren't living up to the full potential of their beauty during that time. I know that there are periods in my life in which this was very much the case, that doesn't mean I lost any value as a person though.

I think people really start to exhibit these beauty indicators when they're living up to the potential showcased within their natal chart. If you have a strong beauty indicator placed within the 10th house, you're going to have to work hard and focus on your career for this to be strongly showcased. A Leo rising with strong beauty indicators placed within their chart isn't going to be perceived as attractive if they act egotistical and arrogant. For example, Vladimir Putin has Venus placed within the 1st house, I wouldn't call him a harmonious person.

Ultimately, if you're looking to astrology to figure out if you're beautiful, or relying upon astrology for confidence, it's a stupid idea. You're time would be better spent working on self-esteem issues. I say this generally, it's not directed at anyone specific. That being said, studying beauty indicators within astrology can be really fun and I consider it to be informative. In my opinion, it works best in connection to predictive astrology, because like I said, physical appearance changes drastically throughout the course of a persons life.

A student has been sentenced to 10 days in jail in Moscow after renaming his wi-fi network with a pro-Kyiv slogan. The Moscow State University student had titled the network "Slava Ukraini!" which means "Glory to Ukraine!". A Moscow court found him guilty of displaying "symbols of extremist organisations" on Thursday. Since the start of Russia's war in Ukraine, thousands have been handed prison terms or fines for criticising the invasion or supporting Ukraine. The student was arrested on Wednesday morning in Moscow, after a police officer had reported the network name to authorities. According to court documents, officers inspected his room within the university's student accommodation, and found his personal computer and a wi-fi router. The court said he had used the network to "promote the slogan 'Slava Ukraini!' to an unlimited number of users within wi-fi range." The router has now been confiscated. "Slava Ukraini" has become a rallying cry for supporters of Ukraine, and is regularly heard chanted during protests against Russia's full-scale invasion, which it launched on 24 February, 2022. The student was found guilty of "public demonstration of Nazi symbolism... or symbols of extremist organisations". Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly made baseless claims about a "neo-Nazi regime" in Ukraine, and used it to justify his invasion. The student is the latest in a long list of ordinary Russians who have been punished for their comments - or actions - about the war.

By which I mean, we can't do anything if we're just swamped with all of the Absolute Shit™ that is going on around us. So make sure you aren't overwhelmed. Take time to acknowledge the good things around you. You're alive. There's people around who are trying to make the world better. There's cute pictures of dogs on the internet. We can eat pastries that are delicious. Like, I don't fucking care what it takes, what it is. You take some time for yourself every day. Do some basic self care. Remember that though the world is a mess, you are alive. Make sure you are living.

And part of that? Remind yourself that, yeah, shit is fucked. But the world has been fucked before. And the world has been fucked up worse than this. And we've gotten it to a better place from there, right? So we can do it again.

Okay. So what do we do from there? How do we do that? I'm gonna be honest. There's a lot of people out there who have written a lot about how to address the problems that face us. So if you want to fight them, pick one of those topics, find a guide, find how to help, and do it. Know that you can't fix everything all at once. But you're not trying to do that. You're looking at one problem, and chipping away at it. And there's thousands and thousands and thousands of other people out there doing it, too. So that work will all add up. It will all compound. And, as a group, we'll try to make things better. Believe in that.

But, on top of all of that? Even if you don't have the time or energy or money to devote to a cause right now?

Be Kind.

I really mean that one. It's not going to fix everything, it's not even going to stop Putin or anything. But you can do little things to make the world better for someone else. And that shit compounds, too, I promise. You make someone smile, make their day a little better, and they'll feel a little happier about the world. And maybe they'll be a little kinder to someone. And it continues on. If some asshole on the internet can spread a little misery by being a dick, you can spread some joy by sharing a joke or complimenting someone's work or just telling a friend you were thinking of them.

And, honestly? That shit keeps you alive. Not physically, but inside, as a person. It's how we survive. Be kind. Hold on to hope. One feeds the other, and that strengthens it back in return. And that's the whole thing where we keep ourselves going, so we can help others out. It's not easy, it's not always going to get an immediate reward.

A mural that anonymous British street artist Banksy painted on a bombed-out building in Ukraine has been transformed into a postage stamp taunting Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ukraine’s postal service released the stamp for sale Friday, the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of the country.

In the image, a young judoka slams a grown man, interpreted to represent Putin, to the ground. “FCK PTN” — i.e., “Fuck Putin” — appears in Cyrillic on the lower left of the stamp.

A Ukrainian border guard's defiant stand against a Russian warship was transformed into an official postage stamp last year. Ukraine's postal service released a stamp with the Banksy artwork on the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion.

“We thought that this exact stamp, this exact painting would be the best representation of what every Ukrainian feels about our enemy,” said postal service head Ihor Smilianskyi, according to Reuters.

Just weeks after the invasion began last year, Ukraine’s postal service released a stamp commemorating a border guard’s defiant rallying cry of “Russian warship, go fuck yourself!”

It’s unclear if Banksy authorized the use of his artwork on the new stamp.

Representatives for the artist did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.

The mural that appears on the stamp is one of seven that Banksy painted in and around the capital, Kyiv, last year.

One of his paintings, depicting a woman in a gas mask, is under police protection after a group of people allegedly tried to steal it. Now, his other artworks in Ukraine are reportedly being monitored around the clock.

In December, Banksy said he’d created a limited-edition print to raise money for Legacy of War Foundation to support people caught up in the conflict. The artist also said he used one of the foundation’s ambulances to escape an “angry babushka” who found him painting on her building.

After requesting that people register their interest in buying one of the just 50 prints, the charity received thousands of “hostile attacks” from internet users linked to Russian locations, it said. It is now processing the 1 million registrations.

Back in England, meanwhile, Banksy on Valentine’s Day confirmed he was behind a commentary on domestic violence in Margate. Authorities later removed moving parts of the installation over safety fears.

If you were truly anti-war, at worst you’d at least try to pretend to be neutral, and not support either side. At best, you would not be on the side of Russia, the aggressor that, unprovoked, invaded a smaller sovereign nation that was peacefully minding its own business, was not in NATO, and wasn’t even applying for NATO membership.
