The Iris “Iristocrats”. J.W. Jung Seed Co., 1950s [Catalogue].
The colors in this catalogue are so beautiful. If I didn’t sneeze whenever I held it I may have kept it! The physical copy is only about 5x7”, so the amount of written+visual information inside is quite impressive.
The paper is decent quality, but I think the only reason why it survived with everything else was where she stored it. That is what makes the “time” aspect of these things interesting to me. The things I’ve gone through aren’t byproducts of hoarding, they were something to look at when bored! “The Iristocrats” never grew too boring, I suppose. I can see the appeal.
It feels so amazing to be able to craft again. It took me like a week to gather my thoughts and make these resources. I hope you like it.
I'll be busy again with work and in between I'll have to rest more or maybe read more. I might get more books soon and just spend time with them. I'm not on hiatus or anything but I won't journal as much as I used to.
On a side note, I finally bought an Army Bomb light stick and I'm still in shock because I've been wanting one since I became an Army. Have a great night everyone.
