Onde fica Duskwood na vida real?
Quem já jogou Duskwood, certamente já quis visitar a deslumbrante e misteriosa cidade, mas sabemos que é tudo ficção. Seria possível? A reposta é sim! Conheça Villingen-Schwenningen e os pontos turísticos que fizeram sucesso no jogo.

Apesar de Duskwood ser um nome fictício, alguns dos locais do vilarejo como o Rainbow Café e a biblioteca podem ser encontrados na cidade gêmea de Villingen-Schwenningen, no sudoeste da Alemanha. Contudo, a Everbyte cuidou para camuflar a verdadeira identidade desses locais.
Villingen-Schwenningen é uma cidade bem maior que o vilarejo de Duskwood, com aproximadamente 165,53 km² bem ao lado da Floresta Negra, que inspirou os desenvolvedores com sua atmosfera sombria e escuridão. É chamada de cidade gêmea, porque é, na verdade, composta por duas cidades: Villingen e Schwenningen.
Apesar das diferenças, a boa notícia é que você pode visitar alguns lugares popularizados pelo passeio turístico com a Jessy.
Rainbow Café
Localizado no centro de Villingen, o Café Rainbow é na verdade o Café Dammert. É um dos pontos mais famosos da cidade com deliciosas sobremesas. Ainda que o bolo de chocolate com morango seja um sucesso em Duskwood, o mais comentado no Café Dammert é o bolo de floresta negra.

Praça do mercado
A praça do mercado fica perto do “Café Rainbow”. A fonte fica em uma praça de frente para o Museu Franciscano, também afamado. Em Duskwood, ela marca o centro da cidade e é onde ocorre um evento anual, provavelmente o Pine Glade.
Biblioteca
A biblioteca de Duskwood é, na verdade, uma igreja. No episódio 5, Jessy enviou uma foto da biblioteca ao jogador, mas esta se tratava mesmo da igreja católica St. Georg.
Igreja
Outra foto enviada por Jessy mostra de fato uma igreja. Trata-se da Villinger Münster. A catedral fica no centro histórico da cidade, com uma arquitetura românica e gótica impressionantes.
Casa do desafio
Richy conta ao jogador sobre a misteriosa casa do desafio, no meio da floresta, onde os garotos eram desafiados a ir à meia-noite e bater na porta três vezes.

Essa cabana não é tão assustadora na realidade. Kapuziner Eremitage fica no topo da montanha Wartenberg, no jardim inglês de um castelo em Geisingen, cidade a sudeste de Villingen-Schwenningen. A pequena casa é um eremida, um cabana ou pequena casa de campo onde se refugiam os nobres em meio à natureza.
Parece muito mais agradável agora, não é?
Cabana
No último episódio, os personagens se refugiaram numa cabana distante de Duskwood. Haldenmühle é uma casa de férias próxima da floresta em Simonswald, a alguns quilômetros de Villingen-Schwenningen, com trilhas para caminhadas e até cascatas por perto.

This comes as an extra post because you can’t post videos in reblogs.
As already mentioned, we went to the cinema to watch the new Thor film. However, it is very difficult to cross the street at the cinema, but they have an underpass under the road. And as most know, an underpass, and then even in the dark is really not a nice and especially dangerous thing, especially probably for women and the exposure is one of the biggest problems. Most of the time these places are way too dark. But not in "Duskwood", and I find this idea incredibly cool, because the underpass is completely illuminated in neon lights. It not only looks cool, but is also very bright, I was really thrilled about it. An fantastic idea and feels really safe. Well, I think this place is also a very interesting idea for an encounter with Jake. Because if we’re honest, an underpass and neon lights, it literally screams for Jake. 🤭 (Unfortunately, the video got a bit shaky because people were behind us and it made me uncomfortable to record it, but I still think it’s worth sharing.)
