heya all! I'm going to start posting here on tumblr again bringing a little bit of pathfinder2e love to the site with my homebrew project; the Viklander Menagerie! A collection of items and creatures for pathfinder2e. I'll be posting old entries here untill we're caught up and sprinkle in some new art here and there to keep it fresh!

Today's menagerie entry comes with my favorite creature I've made so far, just look at this lil' Moon Lad! Just be careful if you decide play with him as he usually plays a bit too rough.

This week's menagerie entry continues my "lil guy" type of creatures. Say hi to the Candle pup a being that brings light and liveliness to any mage tower!

That's a chunky statblock! For this week's menagerie entry I got a variant version of a green dragon! This dragon has decided to pick up a weapon from it's hoard and fight with it! I just hope it doesn't fight me

Got a big story item and ritual today with the blood candle and blood cartography from. These are certainly the least universal entries in the menagerie! Instead these two entries are most likely best used as a reward or tool for players handed out from GMs for specific storylines or game settings! The blood candle is a little item that could create some great "gotcha" moments in intrigue and mystery games. For example having the party trying to find a royal bastard in disguide during a court ball while the ritual can be a great tool for morally dubious players or a sort of reward for a devil's bargain struck with a witch or hag as you hunt down a certain creature or target. Finally and perhaps my favorite use is putting the ritual in the hands of the antagonist and the players have to figure out why members of a certain family goes missing or are found murdered. I hope you get some use out of these in your games cuz they are quite rambly and specific

The viklander menagerie is finally back after a holiday break! Starting out with a little critter called the sky pike! A fun little addition to any game with fey and wonder!

One more creature for the menagerie, The Balcherbest! A very very lazy few and probably my favorite to paint cuz it's so whacky!

Hi everyone! I wish to share the most horrifc beast I've created so far for the menagerie, the Goosrah. An idea that spawned from a cursed discord session with friends It's like a hydra but instead of growing more heads it gets angrier :D

Say hi to this silly little critter entering the menagerie! The cannonshell crab fires itself around the battlefield and I found the little bugger very cute.
