In honor of my 20th birthday, I would like to present:

The GX cast and how they react to people singing “Happy Birthday” to them

Jaden/Judai: sits there awkwardly and only makes eye contact with whoever brought out the cake

Syrus/Sho: also sitting there awkwardly, but makes eye contact with literally everyone

Chazz/Manjoume: the level of tension between everybody is extremely high. atticus is the only one singing at any volume level. deep down, the chazz loves it.

Bastion/Daichi: spaces off until they’re done and then calculates the exact amount of air needed to blow out the candles in one go

Alexis/Asuka: resists the urge to cover her ears (atticus is the one singing)

Zane/Ryo: he can’t leave, that would be rude, but he’s visibly about to bolt from the room

Atticus/Fubuki: sings along. in perfect harmony. probably has a crown on. makes sure everyone else gets cake before they do

Blair/Rei: biggest shit-eating grin ever. center of attention and she knows it.

Crowler/Cronos: literally sobbing. has never had a proper birthday celebration

Aster/Edo: basking in the attention. will sing along if prompted, but will feign modesty until told he can do otherwise

Hasselberry/Kenzan: also sobbing. big massive group hug at the end.

Adrian/Amon: not feigning modesty in the least. sitting back and taking it all in. lets other people cut the cake and serve it to him.

Axel/O’Brien: stoic the entire time. one tear rolls down his face at the end. gets tackled in hugs which he reluctantly returns

Jim: smiling with love. makes sure Shirley hears the song too

Jesse/Johan: very “aw shucks” about the situation. blows out all the candles except for one and then invites everyone else to help him blow out the last one.

Yubel: not in the room. don’t try it. do you value your intestines being inside your body?

Happy trans day of visibility! Here are some yugioh characters that are trans

Mokuba Kaiba

Trans girl. Closeted but her brother is completely ready to support her when she comes out at her own pace. She is valid!

Mai Valentine

A lovely trans woman! She is out and proud and has been for years! She is valid!

Duke Devlin

Two-spirit. His gender doesn't fit in to western concepts and understanding, and, as such, he's not very open to discussing it outside of the community. And they are valid!

Vellian Crowler

A queen and a king and a monarch. They don't really go in for labels, doesn't like any of the modern terms that kids these days use, and don't like to be questioned about it. He is valid!

Yubel

Bigender and nonbinary. They are trans and they refuse to be quiet about it. They are trans and they are angry and they have so much gender and they want to SCREAM about it. And guess what? They're valid!

Blair Flannigan

Trans guy. Absolute egg. He won't realize it until he's much older, after years of thinking that surely every one feels this way, he can't be an outlier. But that doesn't make his experiences as a trans person any less valid! He is valid!

Crow Hogan

Trans guy. He figured himself out really early, kicked his deadname before he even learned how to read, but did not have the option to medically transition for many years. He is five foot nothing and will fight your dysphoria for $1.00. He is valid!!

Sherry LeBlanc

Trans-masc. Prefers masculine clothing and pronouns, but also doesn't mind being adressed as a woman. He's confusing and contradictory! She is valid!

Rally Dawson

Genderfluid. They sometimes struggle to explain this to people. She just doesn't have the vocabulary all the time! The ones who matter accept him whether he manages to articulate it or not. A beautiful and valid trans person!

Astral

Nonbinary. Couldn't care less about this whole gender thing. To xem, this whole this is a very puzzling mystery. Xe got no idea what their gender is and doesn't particularly care about exploring it further. Xe are valid!

Trans comes in a plethora of experiences and people. And ALL of them! Are valid!

Who They’re Kissing On New Year’s

Jaden/Judai: Jesse. As friends. (Right?)

Syrus/Sho: his pillow. or the wall. literally not looking at Jaden OR Alexis.

Chazz/Manjoume: he goes for Alexis but Ojama yellow pops up at the last second and he spends the next hour in the bathroom shoving soap into his mouth

Bastion/Daichi: I will allow the token straight man. Tanya.

Alexis/Asuka: No one. she ducks out of the way of Chazz and immediately slams into her brother, knocking him off balance. results of that are in Zane’s section.

Zane/Ryo: gives Sy a head kiss and gets sent to the floor by Atticus

Atticus/Fubuki: Tried for Zane, but body-slammed him after Alexis knocked him over.

Blair/Rei: Jokingly goes for Chazz (running for the bathroom), then Zane (on the floor after Atticus full body decked him), then Jaden (Jesse’s tongue is down his throat)

Crowler/Cronos: a mirror

Aster/Edo: Jaden’s Neos card. Right on the ass.

Hasselberry/Kenzan: too busy shoving dino nuggies into his mouth

Adrian/Amon: attempts it on Yubel and is found strung up in a tree the next morning

Axel/O’Brien: gives Jim a friendly kiss on the cheek

Jim: turns at the last second and is now apologizing to Axel profusely (they’re cool)

Jesse/Johan: Jaden. Not as friends. They’re gonna have a conversation about this later.

Yubel: do you want to live?
