am I late to the party or has anyone posed the idea of the crew playing spin the bottle yet bc I feel like it would be a natural progression to go from a night of drinking, maybe celebrating a successful raid on another ship, to silly dancing and singing along to sea shanties as they get progressively more and more shitfaced, to realizing the graveyard of empty bottles all around them which would of course inspire a rousing game of spin the bottle

i feel like Lucius would be the one to suggest it with Black Pete quickly agreeing and Fang and Ivan shrugging their shoulders and sitting down in the makeshift circle that would start forming as the rest of the crew of the revenge decide "fuck it, why the hell not?"

Izzy would obviously immediately protest and refuse to join the circle, telling the crew to fuck off as he leans against the side of the ship to observe instead (which he tries to cloak as being utterly disinterested)

Stede falls victim to peer pressure, egged on by his crew to join and also somehow interpreting this as an opportunity to be a good leader and exemplify team bonding or whatever the fuck. naturally, as soon as Stede joins, Ed decides to join as well, trying (and failing) to casually insert himself between the two crew members that were initially situated right across from Stede in the circle (Ed is history's greatest tactician, after all) making Izzy even more pissy

Lucius is the one to kick off the first spin as he also goes over the very basic premise of the game (Ed interrupts to note "this just sounds like an excuse for the whole crew to kiss each other" "yeah that's kinda the point, are you complaining?" "...i guess not"). there are a few silly kisses exchanged between Fang and Roach, and the Swede and Buttons (the Swede makes Buttons prove he doesn't have his metal teeth in first), some very sweet kisses exchanged between Olu and Jim, and Frenchie and Wee John, and at least one very hot but also slightly concerning and highly inappropriate kiss exchanged between Lucius and Black Pete (they love an audience after all)

however, the highlight of the night is easily the first time the bottle finally lands on Stede (Ed had stared daggers at every single person when they went to spin and there was an unspoken understanding to spin the bottle in such a way that it almost certainly would NOT land in Stede's direction which both relieved Stede but also made him a little bit pouty that everyone else got to participate except him so far but he thinks it's just him being unlucky). Ed was the one who had spun it and technically it had actually landed on Black Pete (who instantly started blushing and stammering "w-well this is certainly interesting sir Blackbeard sir but I guess if that's what the bottle says we have to do then I'll do it I mean it would be an honor to get to ki-") before Ed stood up from his seat, bent down and turned the bottle so it pointed directly at Stede, and crossed the circle before plopping down in Stede's lap, grabbing his face between Ed's hands, and laying an obscenely big kiss right on Stede's lips. Stede was stunned and overwhelmed for a moment before one of his hands went to Ed's hair and the other wrapped itself tightly around Ed's waist and the beginnings of certain /noises/ started emanating from their general mouth vicinity-

the rest of the crew disbanded for the night rather quickly after that

| Last OC ref in my drafts before I post the couple other lots later today (Cuz I think I might've missed like one or two, not like this post would be done and posted before I have to leave for work anyways..)

This is Brady, also part of the Frostclaw tribe (and again, everyone from this project were former Yiga OCs..). Brady is a nervous wreck and seems very timid and sweet on the outside.. In fact he kind of is, except that he's obsessed with the town's local chef to an unhealthily unhinged degree. Like full on stalkerish fan and also in love too..

But other than that, if he's not being obsessed, he can be kinda chill too...

He works part time in the local library of the town, mostly works at the little shop that resides near the back of the library itself along with a small café inside too. Absolutely filled with glee when they get a delivery for new books each month, especially when Jackson's cookbooks are in the monthly delivery

Is a fan of Jackson and his food, loves to go to every restaurant and bakery to try out the food; However is a little disappointed when the food isn't up to par with the "man himself"

Loves food and can be quite the food critic, believe it or not even though he's just some average joe, he does inspire some beginner chefs with his whimsical critiques; Although sometimes his opinions tend to get shut down when he starts comparing food to his favourite chef

He can get rather jealous very quickly, so his obsessiveness can sometimes get the better of him. His traits can be toxic however that seems to be a mechanism his brain triggers when he feels "threatened". Does go to therapy trying to control it but tends to purposefully miss out on his sessions for obvious reasons

Sometimes when there are updates or other public announcements about the town he doesn't usually keep up to date with much, due to lacking understanding, his personal stresses and whatnot. It's not exactly a bad thing; However he does become misunderstood sometimes because he doesn't keep up or show any empathy for something. People just need patience is all

He's not a fighter for the town but he is part of a small force who defend it when it comes to emergencies or last-minute procedures; Although dangers don't come around here as much as they used to, sometimes you get the odd rebels from the outer walls of the town infiltrating and causing a slight ruckus now and then

He loves reading and listening to audio books, especially to help him sleep. Or even when he's washing dishes or doing chores

Flails his hands in excitement, especially towards interests or things he enjoys. It's cute

He doesn't have many friends, but he enjoys talking to his regular customers, seeing as most are mainly old ladies or visitors who have decided to stay in the tourist/vacation side of town. It's helped his socials skills quite a bit despite still having a little ways to go

Words aren't working, forgetting what words to use for these now and I hate it.. Oh well not like that matters anyways, but still have loads of these to go anyways so I'll be doing these for an awful long time.

I just don't really want to draw fan art in between re-posting and trying to finish off OC refs and whatnot because I'll just get distracted and leave them all to collect dust all over again.. Designing characters is always fun though, it's just trying to name them, working out their purpose and further developing them.... Especially when you decided to make it into a project and go as far as to creating worlds for them.

the root problem IS Seren since he did raise both of them. especially so w/ protovwoop they have very similar characterization like they are Siblings Siblings (tm). they run on the same engine w different packages. he kind of came about to give protovwoop some sort of offscreen motivation and then proto's possessiveness + toxic aromanticism wins sort of informed The way he is. They learned this from somewhere, as well as the logistics of being A Mob Kid and like. pushed to sentience to be Somebody's Silley Animal Companion.

In a "nothing bad happens to Seren" AU cVwoop wouldn't actually exist, but if the three had ended up sticking together somehow everyone involved would be even worse

#One day Seren gets therapy. I need to find a nice vacation home for him first #Socialize him with the other cats. You know how it is.#HE IS . HOWEVER. AS IT STANDS. NOT DOING THIS ON PURPOSE.
