“You have about five seconds to put those cookies down or else.” Naoko warns as dull hazel eyes begin to narrow at the cat. She’d tucked those cookies away for a treat for herself later and at Riddle’s recommendation she’d even been sure to leave a note on them to warn the Heart dorm students about even thinking of touching them. Not that one would think she’d need to considering how often she was around now but better safe than sorry, for their sake.

The Students of Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy had been at odds for as long as anyone could remember. Suffice to say, I find myself uncharmed by them as much as the next person.

Chen'ya is an odd case.

Allow me to clarify: I don't know them personally, only by name.

Or perhaps, more accurately, I knew them from their frequent interactions with Trey and Riddle on Magicam.

It's not intentional, I swear. *chuckles* I am merely executing what Azul instructed me to; gathering information on other students in Magicam and managing the marketing aspect of Mostro Lounge.

It is by pure coincidence that I realized Riddle and Trey have a friend in Royal Sword. They seemed close as if they'd known each other for many years. Just like Azul with Floyd and I.

I suppose that is the beauty of Magicam. You get to learn something new everyday.

Leona had fallen quiet at those words, not that he was really carrying the conversation to begin with. Vulnerability wasn't something he liked to dive into, it wasn't Savanaclaw's way, and it definitely wasn't his.

He moves to lay on his back, his gaze lost to the skies above them as they saw under the clouds, but his mind had placed him elsewhere.

' Sometimes its better to not look for them, ' he answers, not removing his gaze from the sky above. If Che'nya had hid his feelings, then Leona was sure he had destroyed his.

It had been too long...it all hurt so much - worse pain than she'd felt in millennia; Che'nya...where was he? He could distort reality to his will after all, so surely he'd found Idia by now...right?

The thought bloomed across her mind, momentarily blocking out any attempt at rational thought - no...no, it was just the discomfort addling her consciousness; she knew him, he wouldn't give his word if he didn't intend to keep it.

H̭̽͑͜e̸̫̘ͫͧ̈́ͭͤ̍'̘͉̓ͩ̅͆̑ͬś̖̫̓̎̍͐́ not̀ ̢goin͝g̀ ͏t҉o h͘el̡p ͏y҉ou̕

It was getting more and more difficult to stop those ugly whispers, to stamp them out and silence them; the last time it had gotten this bad, a few moments of contact with the Ignihyde housewarden had her feeling better, as he'd burned off the excess blot her own body hadn't managed too...it was happening again, and unlike then, she was outside, about as far away as she could be from the campus without outright leaving the grounds, with no way of contacting him.

Yes...that was right - so many humans...humans...it always came back to humans...selfish, arrogant, stupid, d͝i̵ś̶̢ǵu͟s̸t̶͜͟iņg humans...he always reeked of them whenever he imposed on her, now that she came to think about it...most likely cozied up to them any opportunity he got...why had she allowed him to get close again? ...stupid - why was she being so stupid? ...just another knife waiting to be thrust into her back.

"Why...why are any of them even alive?" the thought was muttered aloud, taking no notice of the corrosive mire that seemed to overtake her, causing her to shift, to grow, to become something quite unlike herself, and yet...still entirely her - funny how little the pain seemed to bother her now as new thoughts flooded her mind - if nothing and no one else was going to attend to this particular parasitic blight on the planet, she may as well simply handle it herself.

The soft, hollow clatter of bone on bone filtered through the space as she rose to her feet, an almost eerie headdress and fur wrap shifting as she rose off the ground where she previously curled, the grass and plant life there notably dead as quiet, girlish giggle left her, a single hand emerging as a warhammer manifested seemingly out of thin air.
