I have twitches that aren’t caused by a tic disorder. They are body twitches. From full body jerks, to small jerks in my legs and arms.
They started after I started taking my antipsychotic, and yes I’m being monitored by a psych, and yes I am keeping an eye on them.
They have continued to stay pretty mild, however they’re painful at times and are just quite annoying. I cannot control them or suppress them.
It’s rarely talked about to have twitches and jerks outside of a tic disorder, so I thought I’d come along and say that yes, they do happen, and yes it can be a side effect of antipsychotics.
