james has the WORST diet known to mankind; he's like jake peralta in the fact that all he eats is junk food and sweets

his favorite comic book character is bruce wayne/batman, and his favorite superhero couple is batcat because they remind him of veronica and himself

before he got tazer, james had a pet turtle that he named lockjaw after the tortoise in hey arnold!

he's always considered pop tate as his real father figure because he's made sure that james was staying on the right track

besides working at pop's, he also has a part-time job working at a local garage fixing up cars and motorcycles

james loves basketball so much; playing it has always calmed him down if he was stressed or angry about something, and watching it with his father before he left was a bittersweet memory

when he came out as bisexual, toni was the one who took him to his first pride parade. as the years went by, the group got bigger to include all of their friends

james is a mama's boy through and through; he hates disappointing her in any way possible because she's his hero

he is always the one to taste whatever culinary creation lucy has come up with because she trusts his judgement

his mom gave him a guitar that used to belong to his grandfather when he was about 10, and he taught himself how to play

Anyway, if I had a nickel for every time a series had six installments that gradually escalated in ridiculousness, only for the sixth installment to end with a universe reboot and the seventh installment to pick up in a new universe where alternate versions of the original characters now exist in the distant past, I'd have two nickels.

One of those series is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The other is Riverdale

1. Something they collect: James has his extensive comic book collection; seriously, it’s ridiculous how big it is and how anal he is over keeping it in mint condition

2. Their sun, moon, and rising star sign: Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aries (December 17th, 2001 at 12:45 pm)

3. The first thing they bought with their own money: It was a Superman comic book, whatever was out on the stands at that time and James was a giddy loon about it

4. One positive personality trait of theirs: He isn’t a judgmental person by any means; James prefers to get to know a person first before making any snap decisions about them

5. Their favorite ‘80’s song: Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears

6. If they’re a good or bad cook: James is okay at cooking, but he prefers to let Lucy do the cooking since she’s the one aspiring to be a personal chef

7. Their favorite horror movie: Friday the 13th

8. Who would play them in a biopic about their life: Jacob Elordi

9. Who would play their older/younger version: Jacob Tremblay for his younger version, Eric Dane (who also plays his father) for his older version

10. An event from their High School reunion: Josie and the Pussycats were performing that night, and Josie asked James if he wouldn’t mind singing with them as well as play the guitar. She would’ve also asked Archie, but he was already overseas by then, so he couldn’t make it. James was honored she asked and said absolutely. When they performed, they KILLED it and everyone was on their feet

"The whole world?" Betty laughs, knowing her eyes are wide as she gazes up at him. Archie has his fist closed around the neck of a bottle of absinthe, an engagement gift from Veronica, and Betty watches it slosh around in the bottle as he grins at her, nodding.

“Whole world. Whole galaxy, maybe,” he sets the bottle down between her bare thighs and taps his fingers against the left one so she’ll squeeze them together and hold it still. “I just want to tell people, Betts. ‘Cause, you know,” he tugs his t-shirt over his head, tossing it in the direction of the hamper in the corner of their room. Betty’s pretty sure she hears the shirt hit the floor next to the hamper, but she knows Archie – he’ll grab it later. “I’ve loved you for a long time. Even when I didn’t realize that’s what I was doing, I was loving you.”

Betty softens, biting her lower lip and gazing up at him, her heart thrumming in her chest. “Oh yeah,” she breathes, tilting her head to the side and trying her best not to sound as drunk and lovestruck as she is, “so when you were deployed, you were just on the other side of the world, loving me?”

Archie nods, grabbing the bottle and taking a swig before offering it back to her. Betty lets him tip it into her mouth and takes a slow sip, pushing it away as she swallows and then getting up onto her knees, the hem of Archie’s old wrestling t-shirt skimming her upper thighs. Archie caps the bottle, albeit slowly and a bit clumsily, then sets it down onto his nightstand. “You were all I thought about, some days. I don’t know how I couldn’t see what that meant.”

Betty reaches out for him, pressing her face into his bare shoulder as she shakes her head. “Hey. You have me now,” she whispers, kissing his arm gently. “You have me and you always will.”

Archie��s laugh rumbles against her palm, which is pressed lightly against his chest. “Which brings me back to: I want the whole world to know.”

“Whole world,” she breathes, lifting her face and finding his eyes on her, his hands sliding down to her hips as she wraps her arms around his neck. “Trying to show me off, Archie Andrews?”

Archie nods, leaning in and kissing her sloppily before he murmurs, “Have to let everyone know I finally got the girl to agree to marry me,” He slides his thumb over her engagement ring and Betty lets her body sag into his, sighing softly as she kisses him until she can’t anymore.

“Just needed you to upgrade the ring, my love,” she whispers, breathless, laughing as he presses her back into the mattress with a low growl.
