✧sojutrait’s hot girl guide to utilizing the club feature in ts4✧

~huge shoutout to @its-opheliasgarden for giving me the idea to make this guide like an hour ago and i immediately had to jump on it sdjkd~

i’m sure everyone who has get together is somewhat familiar with the club system and the general basis of how it works but trust me when i tell you it is the most underrated part of ts4. i get a lot of asks about how i pull off certain aspects of my gameplay and 9/10 it’s clubs so here’s a (not so) small guide to help out!

general information about clubs: ik a lot of people don’t even remember the club system exists so here’s a quick refresher in case when reading this you go “wait since when can we do THAT”

you can set clubs to being “invite only” which will restrict randoms from joining your club (i highly recommend you do that for every club no matter what)

you can set club hangouts, either as specific lots or general places like “cafes” or “parks”

you can set club wardrobe for each frame and age so whenever your club meets they will change into that outfit

you can restrict who can join your club for a myriad of things including celebrity level, traits, age, marriage status, career etc. (this comes in handy a lot as i’ll expound on further down)

you are given 6 sims to start off with but with club points u can purchase extra slots for up to 8 sims (tbh just cheat for extra points with mcc)

club points can also purchase skill boosts so your sims gain skills faster when in a club gathering

pt 1 - using clubs to make… well clubs

ts4 is pretty notorious for being desolate in the child/teen activities department. there are little to no after school activities and the ones we do have are a rabbit hole. clubs can really help expand on them or create entirely new ones as i am here to explain to you today

theater club - drama club is an after school activity that came with get famous and is unfortunately a rabbit hole. your child or teen fucks off to the Void for a couple hours and comes back with a couple extra percentages in the acting skill. what i like to with drama clubs is to create one using the club system. that way, you get an actual interactive drama club experience. i set costumes using the “set club wardrobe” feature. i set the activities for the club to practice acting and play instruments. using the club hangout you can set their hangout to a theater of your choosing (self promo of the theater i use and built). helpful skill boosts to purchase with club points - acting, creativity (for child sims), piano, guitar, singing

scouts - like with drama club, seasons came with a half-baked after school activity for children/teens in the form of scouts. what i personally do, is make my own scouts troop for my sim to go to and meet sims. their wardrobe is set to the scouts uniform that we got with seasons, and for their club hangout i just use the general option of any park but if you have a specific one you want to choose feel free to do that. i also restrict sims that can join the club to be only those in the scout career. the game is pretty good at making npcs join scouts on their own but if you find that there are no sims in your save that are, you can hop in random households and make their sims join the scouts career, or just simply omit that as being a requirement to join the club. i set the club activities to frog catching, fishing, etc all that good nature stuff. helpful skill boosts to purchase with club points - fishing, fitness, motor (for child sims)

those suburban mom clubs yk the type - this one’s gonna be short and sweet bc it doesn’t really differ from how the club system was meant to be played. i like to make a club of all the moms in the neighborhood just to do mom things lmao. there’s no club uniform, but i do usually set the club hangout to a cafe or a specific mom’s house and set activities to drinking coffee and socializing with each other. for a mommy and me type club, toddlers are unable to join clubs but once i start a club gathering i simply invite the toddlers over and they will not leave until their parent leaves (which is after the club gathering ends) helpful skill boosts to purchase with club points - parenting

dance team - this ones also short and simple, make a club, give them the dancing activity, set a uniform if u want them to do a recital, club hangout at a dance studio, that’s it here’s my sim ophelia falling on her face

pt 2 - mentors

mentoring isn’t exclusive to get together or the club system but it can be used in tandem. once a sim reaches level 10 in most skills, they gain the opportunity to mentor other sims (there is also a mentor reward trait which can be purchased). mentoring causes the other sim to gain in that skill super fast, with moodlets and sentiments between the sims and what not. now what the fuck does that have to do with clubs u may be asking, a whole lot baby. mentors can be used as leaders in scouts, drama club captains, coaches, even teachers (which i’ll expand upon in the school section). i usually kidnap a random npc or make a sim, give them level 10 in the skills i want them to mentor my sims in, give them the mentor reward trait, then just add them to my club. you don’t even need to control them to get them to mentor, simply start the action then click the sims and choose “ask to mentor”.

pt 3 - sports

“but soju there are no sport teams in ts4” aHA again, that is where u are wrong besties. with no mods or cc, ts4 has 2 sports, basketball (city living) and soccer (university but also the base game as a rabbit hole career under the title of just “athlete”) and swimming ig to some extent

let’s start with basketball. my sim ollie was on a basketball team when she was a child which i achieved using what was already discussed here. i set their uniform (for sports make sure you set it under the athletic category so they switch into the right outfit when playing basketball), gave them the basketball activity, make their hangout a basketball court (self promo plug again) wam bam that’s done, short and sweet. soccer is a tiny bit more complicated. once your sim joins the soccer career, in their relationship panel under the co-workers tab you will see your teammates. that’s who you will put in your club. you can even restrict the members allowed in to only be sims in the soccer career. if you’re really crazy you can make a rival team club but i’m too lazy for that half the time. you could also continue this post-graduation, with your sims co-workers from the athlete career but ngl idrgaf at that point so i dont. activities is set to soccer and working out, hangout set to a soccer field or just a gym so they can workout together as a team. you can also make a swimming team, same way just do all what was said before but set the hangout to a pool, activity to swimming, and if you have a specific uniform you want them to change into, make sure u put it under the swimwear category. helpful skill boosts for sports teams - fitness, logic (which u need for the soccer career), motor (for child sims)

(tiny addendum for legacy players) - you can also use clubs to group together family members cousins, etc. very small thing but i figure it’s worth mentioning

pt 4 - the holy grail: schools

be warned; this one takes a bit more planning and finessing than the others for the obvious reason that we do not have interactive schools in the sims 4. but alas, here i am to explain how i do it using everything that was mentioned already

side note: ik there are mods for interactive schools but tbh i can never really keep track with which are updated so i just do it this janky way

club hangout ~ a school. they’re all over the gallery, set as parks, libraries, generic lots etc. or u can build ur own. i have a high school i built and i am currently working on an elementary school so stay tuned if you’re interested

mentors ~ mentors can be used as teachers. i make one club for teacher sims that i made, each with level 10 in various skills and with the mentor reward trait. i set their club hangout as the school. there, they can mentor children and teens in logic, various instruments, fitness, etc.

the actual classmates ~ i just make a club of any children or teen sims around the save in one club as my sims classmates. i recommend you turn on the age requirement to be child or teen when adding sims, then remove it. in doing this, that ensures neither your sim or their classmates will be kicked out of the club upon aging up

from there it’s all up up to you. you can add any activities you feel are “school like”. i usually do do homework, do school projects, read, use the science experiment table, painting, etc. you can also use those skill boosts i mentioned

you can also assign school uniforms by using that club wardrobe feature

there is the issue of your sim having to go to real school but this doesn’t really bother me. i have them hangout after real school or on the weekends, but if u want it to really replace going to school, u can place down the online schooling computers by kawaiistacie so your sim will actually do school work there and have it affect their grade.

if you feel that 8 sims is not enough, you can make another club in your save with the same settings as your main classmates club and set their hangout as the school as well so they show up. i don’t ever do this tho lmao, 8 sims is enough for me but hey it’s your call

WHEWWW i hope this is comprehensive. i really randomly think of more ways i can use the club system nearly everyday but here’s a good place to start for those who want to expand on their gameplay!

Who's your favourite sim that you've made?

it's a tie between my 2 little meow meows pictured above 🥺

amir because he's the oc i'm most attached to and have most fully developed

vlad because i just love the way his sim turned out and he's such a fun character to think about

if they ever met, vlad would be like "greetings." and amir would be like "bro what the fucckkk" 😭

speaking of vampires i also love the idea of au-vampire-amir being this ashamed, existential crisis having vegetarian vampire who struggles with controlling and hiding his bloodlust.

What's your favourite Sims death?

it's been YEARS since i intentionally made any of sims die. i barely do gameplay these days and i am attached to the sims i make. but when i used to play sims chaotically, i preferred to "accidentally" murder sims by fire instead of deleting the pool ladder. i would furnish their houses with the cheapest stoves and fireplaces, and sit back and watching the inevitable unfold... it was the final destination fan in me.

i can't live without alpha hair and i love a well done piece of alpha clothing.

Favourite Mod?

for a sfw mod, pose player was truly a game changer, can't play without it.

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?

i've always preferred creating masculine male sims/characters, that hasn't changed throughout the years. i've learned how to take better pictures, how to style my sims better, how to create the kinds of clothes i want to style them in, and i've learned my preferred slider settings and facial features/proportions. i make the same "genre" of male sims over and over and over again, so my style hasn't really changed, but my skills have improved and i've solidified my aesthetic which i am proud of :D

Who's your favourite CC creator?

i really can't pick a favourite because there is just so much sheer talent and a thriving cc community even today, but if i had to pick one, i would say rustynail. i used the shit out of their cc back in the day. everything my sims wore was straight off the runway darling... rusty brought glamour and high fashion to the sims! an inspiration.

How long have you had a simblr?

since even before 2013 😭 tumblr was my main social media for many years LMFAOOOOO and i made a simblr after following many ts3 blogs, being wowed by their screenshots, and i wanted to join in on the fun and wanted to download all the cool cc people were making... that was the start of my ts3 obsession !

How do you edit your pictures?

i use a gshade preset i made, then i mostly just crop and add text in gimp. i don't have the patience to edit my pics.

What expansion/ stuff pack is your favourite?

late night duh and seasons is a close second because it just makes the game so much more immersive and beautiful. pets is also a top one because it adds so much to the game, it's such a well thought out pack in my opinion, and what life simulator can be complete without pets?

What a macabre start to the survey lol… I hardly ever let my sims die, so kind of none, but my least least-favorite is probably dying of fright.

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?

I was definitely a casual player/serious CC collector for most of the first decade of the game. I was probably one of the first people to experience pink flashing from overloading dense, urban neighborhoods, and the game never being able to handle my dreams (in aLIVE mode) limited my actual playtime substantially. I took a couple years off and then in 2016 or 2017 came back enraptured with the Test of Time challenge (and modifying the ToT challenge rules as much as anything). Meraki is my third iteration of that, working past neighborhood corruption (1ST attempt; 4th gen) and founder fatigue (2nd attempt; barely got off the ground, it was just too weird trying again). Now (lately) I'm back to regular modern play (which means CC collecting and neighborhood setup, apparently).

Who’s your favorite CC creator?

Today, Jacky93sims lol. ATS for longevity. Adele for details. HS for the infinitely useful Arizona sofa lol

How long have you had Simblr?

Probably… 2018-2019? I think I got the idea for Meraki around the time of my honeymoon and that's when I came up with the name 'anachronisims,' and my prior tumblr was just a general purpose thought repository.

What expansion/gamepack is your favorite?

Seasons. In any game. Seasons.

Hello, friends! Welcome to Sims World Adventure Club!

STATUS: OPEN (awaiting participants)

What is the Sims World Adventure Club? This is a project to help bring the sims community a little closer together It’s a community game where your sims will get to see the world by visiting other simmers’ games, and having new experiences, making new friends and building their skills along the way.

The best thing about this club is that anyone can join, and it’s free! There’s no waiting period, no membership fee, and no exclusivity. Regardless of whether you play Sims 2, Sims 3 or Sims 4, this club can be for you. All you need to do is make sure you specify which game version your traveller requires, so you can match up with host simmers who play the same version as you.

NB: I’m going to make the assumption that most participant simmers will be using TS4. (Currently, I also use TS4 exclusively). I will provide resources on how to share sims from TS2 and TS3, but for now, most resources will relate to TS4. Contributors are welcome! If you have helpful TS3 and TS2 resources, feel free to share them.

How does this work?

Please keep reading below the cut for guidelines and more information about the Sims World Adventure Club project.

The Basics

The goal of this project is to get people playing the game, sharing and interacting with each other in a new way, and of course to have some fun.

The idea is that each participant will create one sim, and will then send that sim on a journey — both virtual and literal — to meet new friends and have new adventures all over the simming world. Everyone starts by sending their sim to one person, and once the sim has visited in that person’s game, they then send the sim on to someone else, and so on, in a chain.

Each host would take screenshots of the visiting sim and post them with the project’s tag. Correctly-tagged posts will be reblogged here. That way, participants get to see their sim across multiple saves, and everyone will be able to catch up on everyone else’s adventures.

The Specifics

(Sims)

One (1) sim at a time per participant - your sim can be any type (human or occult), any gender and sexuality, and should be a Teen, Young Adult, Adult or Elder.

Custom Content is allowed! Just make sure you include all of it with your sim when you send them to their first host. Hosts should also remember to include a visiting sim’s CC when passing them to the next host.

Alpha or Maxis Match? Either is fine, but if you have a preference about whether your sim goes to an Alpha simmer or a MM/Maxis-mix simmer, make a note of it in your sim’s intro post. Likewise, if you prefer to receive only Alpha or MM sims, please make a note of it.

New or old sim? Either is fine! You can make a totally new sim specifically for this, or you can use one you’ve been playing for a while. Premades are okay as well, if you don’t make your own original characters.

Editing is not allowed! It should probably go without saying, but you are not permitted to change the name, pronouns, sexual/romantic preferences, skin colour, hair colour, eye colour, facial features, scars, weight, body type, traits, walk style or voice of anyone else’s sim. You may change clothes, shoes, accessories and makeup. Hairstyles may be changed or tattoos added/removed if the creator of that sim says it’s okay (please specify this in your sim’s intro post if you do or do not want to allow hairstyle or tattoo changes).

If your sim uses content from an official DLC pack that a host simmer does not have, they may end up looking a little different, or they may not work at all. Feel free to note any essential pack-specific requirements for your sim in their intro post.

(Your Introductory Post)

Each participant should make an intro post for their sim traveller. This should have at least one screenshot of the sim, and should include at least the following details:

Traits:

Current Aspiration:

Likes/Dislikes:

Your intro post can also include a short biography or backstory for your sim. A lot of simmers like to have as much biographical information as possible when getting a sim from someone else. Be as brief or as detailed as you like!

Please say if your sim can get pregnant or if they can get others pregnant, and whether you mind “accidental” pregnancies, as there may be simmers who are using risky woohoo mods or other mods that increase the chance of pregnancy. (Yes, your sims can woohoo to their hearts’ content!) If you’re okay with babies, it will be up to you and the host whose sim is the other parent to decide what to do with the baby sim. They can be kept in the host’s game, be sent to the traveller’s originating game, or travel with the travelling parent, or any other option you agree upon. You decide!

Please specify whether you prefer not to have your sim’s hairstyle changed or whether you’re okay with hairstyle changes. Likewise for tattoos and piercings.

Make a note of any essential pack-specific requirements, especially if your travelling sim is an occult sim.

Please state whether you prefer your sim to go to an Alpha simmer, Maxis Match/Maxis Mix simmer, or whether you have no preference.

If you would also like to host other sims, please state this in your intro post.

Don’t forget to say which iteration of the game you’re playing (TS2, TS3, TS4) so this information can be included on the participant list for easy reference

Please mention @simsworldadventureclub and tag your intro post with #simsworldadventureclub so I can find and reblog it, and so I can add your account and your sim’s name & pronouns to the participant list.

(Sending Sims to Others)

If your sim uses CC, be sure to include all of it when you send them to your first host. If you are a host, please be careful to include all CC for the visiting sim when you send them to the next host.

How to find hosts - If you are a participant (i.e. you have made a sim) and you would also like to be a host for other sims, please say so in your sim’s intro post. Anyone in the community can ask to be a host, whether they have a sim in the game or not. Participants can ask anyone to be a host. Potential hosts can also approach each other if they want to be on the itinerary of a certain sim, but they must also communicate with the creator of that sim to let them know where the sim is going. A sim’s travels will be largely self-managed and organized by their creator, but if you are having difficulty finding a host, please send an ask, or DM me at @stargazer-sims and I’ll try my best to help you. I’m also considering adding a Host List here on the pinned post.

Hosts should only have one visiting sim at a time. This is so hosts don’t feel overwhelmed by trying to complete too many visits. Of course, you are free to take on more than one visiting sim at once, if you like.

When you’ve completed a visit and are ready to send the sim to the next host, be sure to save a current copy of them so that they will retain all their skills. The idea is for sims to learn and grow along their journey, so please help them not to lose progress! There are resources below about how to do this.

(When Sims Visit Your Game)

When a host has someone’s sim in their game, they should play that sim with at least one of their own sims for at least two sim days (a complete 48 hour period of in-game time). You may play them longer than two sim days and you may play them with more than one household. It’s up to you to decide your level of comfort here.

Take some screenshots of the visiting sim’s adventures. skill-building activities and daily life with your sims, and then post an update for everyone to see. You can write as much or as little as you want, but your post should include at least the following:

(Sim’s name) from (account name) is in (your IRL country). They visited with (your sim’s name/family name) in (sim place) and (did X).

or a more concrete example:

Eri from @stargazer-sims is in Canada! They visited with Victor and Yuri Okamoto-Nelson in Mt. Komorebi and learned how to snowboard and make onigiri.

Aging - unless a host is playing with aging turned off, travelling sims will age during each visit. When this happens, there are a few options. The first option is to just let the sim continue to travel through various games until the natural end of their lifespan. Secondly, the sim’s creator could ask a host to reset the sim’s age in CAS if they have a birthday while there. And finally, if a creator would rather “retire” their traveller at a certain age, they may do so. They can re-enter with another sim, if they wish, as long as they only have one active sim participating in the project at any given time.

Death of a sim - If a visiting sim happens to die while with a host, either by accident or from old age, it’s up to the creator of that sim how they’d like to handle it. They can ask the host to te-download the sim from the file the host received, or they can decide that their sim’s journey has ended (and they may re-enter with another sim if they wish). Accidents happen, and that’s part of the game, but please do not deliberately try to kill visiting sims. That should go without saying, but there it is in any event.

Participants can “retire” their travelling sim at any time. If you wish to re-enter with a new one, please make a new intro post for them, and state that the previous one has retired.

There is no time limit on how long you have someone else’s sim in your game, but please be reasonable about it. If you have them beyond six weeks and haven’t been able to play or post an update, please let their creator know. There is more info below about what to do if you can no longer participate.

There is no limit on the number of times you can be a host. You can continue to have sims visit your game as often as you want, of if you choose to host only one or two visiting sims, that’s okay, too.

One post per visit is sufficient, but you can make more than one if you like. Tag your update posts with #simsworldadventureclub and mention @simsworldadventureclub so that they can be found and reblogged here.

You can use the Sims World Adventure Club banner in your update posts if you wish. There is a link to download it in the “Resources” section.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

No one will be supervising you or enforcing rules. We are all responsible adults, so a lot of this will be self-managed and will go on the honour system. If there is a serious problem that you cannot resolve with another simmer privately through DMs between the two of you, please feel free to send an ask and I will try to help you resolve it. It goes without saying, but if there is a dispute of some kind, please do not make it public. If you need help, it will be handled confidentially and with discretion on my end. No one else will be told anything. (I’m hopeful this will never be necessary.)

This is meant to be a fun way to get us playing and enjoying the game again, and to help bring some community spirit back to the community. If you are a participant and can no longer participate for whatever reason, please send a quick ask to let me know, and I will remove you from the list. There are no judgements here. Any reason is a valid reason for no longer participating.

There is no official time limit on how long a host should take to play with their visiting sim and post an update; however, if you’ve had someone’s sim for more than six weeks and you’re finding you just can’t do it, please let the creator/owner of that sim know. The creator can then decide with you, if you need more time or if you’d prefer to simply forward the sim along to the next host. It’s okay if you cannot do it. This shouldn’t be a chore, and no one should feel bad about it. Priorities in our real lives and taking care of ourselves, our loved ones always need to come first.

So now that the laptop has been repaired and returned, I've been very happily updating and backing up everything again. When I reached the point of doing anything with The Sims 4 yesterday, I found myself thinking about how, prior to going down to Toronto, I was considering resetting TS4 entirely so it was back in a default state, and starting over from scratch. Which I felt even more like doing as I was playing my most recent sim at a horse ranch and just... not really enjoying it. And then during the couple weeks of waiting for the repair, not knowing if I'd have to reinstall all my programs or not, I found myself thinking "...I could just not restore my saves game for that" and kind of liking the idea. Among other things, it'll allow me to tweak the MCCC settings to (hopefully) prevent the pruning of family trees, so I'll always be able to see how they interconnect.

So, yesterday afternoon I moved my TS4 directory off to a backup location, which forced the game to recreate the save game files from scratch. Reinstalled my preferred mods. And created a new starter sim, Teresa Abbotsford.

Once I was able to get in-game and go to Manage Worlds, I also dug around on the Galery to re-obtain the MaxisCreates TS4 versions of the Grunt, Spectre, Curious, and Smith families from TS2, as well as a reasonably decent version of the Beakers (whom MaxisCreates seems to have missed). Also grabbed versions of their houses that different people created (mostly the versions by XQueenOfHe4rtsX). Decided to squeeze them all into StrangerVille, as it vibes the closest with the old Strangetown, though for reasons of space the Smiths have ended up over in Oasis Springs instead. I've done some minimal editing to the houses, mostly things like replacing observatories with telescopes, or tweaking some of the wall textures. The Curious brothers' house came with a bonus structure in one corner of the lot that had a lot of the scientific equipment available in-game, with a rocket kit staging area on the roof. I moved and rebuilt that slightly so that it fits into the layout of where the lot is in-game a little better (mostly just rotating it 90 degrees and changing it from a fenced-in area to an actual outbuilding).

And I built a starter house for Teresa. She's beginning the family line in San Sequoia, a neighbourhood I haven't had anyone playable live in yet, since there was a nice 20x40 empty lot there that gives her plenty of elbow room to grow. Literally - she's in the gardener career and has the Freelance Botanist nature aspiration. Though I think I need to rotate the house; it fits better on the lot facing the short end, but the zone-in point is partway along one of the long edges. But I digress.

Her house is currently pretty minimally furnished, though that's slowly improving over time. She has the option of working from home with her current job, and since the tasks required for that tend to take very little time (read a book, research gardening on the computer, give someone produce from your garden) I've mostly been choosing that and spending a lot of her time working on assorted skills and going out and about to meet people. I'm playing her as a much more gregarious sim than I usually do, as a result of which she's been following up on a lot of invitations to attend events, go on dates, and go out dinner as friends. She's also joined the Partihouse social club, where she's finally met someone she clicks with who isn't already married or engaged - Paolo Rocca, one of the Partihouse household members.

I think the main thing I may work on the next few play sessions is things like editing commercial lots so I that like them better, making sure all marriage venues have washrooms, adding houses to Newcrest (since by default it's entirely empty lots), and the like. Basically re-doing some of the changes I'd made over the years.

Let’s slowly answer the asks!

I don’t think I know a way to export meshes/textures without having TS4 installed. I didn’t even try. You don’t need to even launch that game, so I don’t think graphics card matters. You would just need the base game to launch programs like S4Studio, which is essential to export stuff for converting...

Hmm, Nraas mods for sure. Especially ErrorTrap, MasterController, Overwatch and Traffic. If you want to use S-Club eyelashes, then @buckleysims fix is a must. It fixes the problem with lashes being seen through hair. I don’t really play right now TS4 but MC Command Center is a must for me!

Hi! I’m afraid I have no idea what to do in such situation. I never heard of any program that would open .dbc files. You could just delete the corrupted .dbc file but like you said, you would lose all other cc that is installed in that file. Did you try to look on @sims3tutorialhub?

I was tagged by @igotsnothing over two weeks ago whoops. I saw it went “I should do that” then completely forgot about it. But better late than never!

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Either death by satellite from TS2 or the skydiving one from TS1, entirely because of the “Whee!” at the end of it.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? A mix of the two.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? I usually don’t even notice when they gain weight.

4. Do you use move objects? Yes.

5. Favorite mod?. Aside from MCC + UI Cheats it’s between Language Barriers by Frankk, RPO and Talents and Weaknesses by Lumpinou.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Get To Work

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?

Kathleen “Kit” Jones (Her name inspired from that "Kitchenaid Whiskey Jones" tweet). She's been around in some form as an OC since 2016.

She is also the sim in my pfp.

I want to do some gameplay/story hybrid with her (and other sims of my own) but that would mean...playing the game and not just using it as a substitute for drawing...

9. Have you made a simself? Back in 2016/7. Probably never again.

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? TS3 traits because I like them better. Adventurous, Love the Outdoors, Brooding, Unlucky, and Artistic.

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? The color wheel. Dark Brown.

12. Favorite EA hair? This one from Get to Work.

13. Favorite life stage? YA. The only life stage.

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I liked building in TS2/3 but could never get into it in 4.

15. Are you a CC creator? I’ve done poses and recolors. I’m currently doing the “Fuck around, Find out” method of learning meshing. I should probably watch a tutorial.

I also know Python (Studied C.S in uni, which means fuck all really) and have confidence that I’ve used enough HTML to figure out XML, so destroying the game from the inside out is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I have ideas that range from adding “Wish for a baby with…” and “Wish for Pregnancy/Wish for Pregnancy with…” to the Wishing Well for all your magical conception needs and story plot purposes, to figuring out how to add a whole “Spirit of the Wishing Well” NPC for also story plot purposes, to straight up overhauling spellcaster's alchemy to be more like TS3 alchemy.

16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? Nope. I’m not introverted, shy, or socially awkward (socially incompetent maybe), I’m just bad at using social media hah.

17. What’s your favorite game? Right now it’s Breath of the Wild. I like bullying the guardians for fun.

18. Do you have any sims merch? Nah.

19. Do you have a YouTube for sims? Nope.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing?

I used to try and be more story focused when the game first came out. I’m one of those TS2 Wants/Fears dictate the game players and while you can do that in TS4, it’s not as satisfying. Now I play it as an unholy mix of "Soap Opera Simulator 2014" and "How far can I take min/maxing the sims" .

21. What’s your Origin ID? I don't have anything of interest on there.

22. Who’s your favorite CC creator?

sforzcc, Peacemaker, awingedllama, Sentate, Rusty, Johnnysims, simstrouble

It’s not cc but florwalsims and windbrook for their builds/saves as like many of you, I’m tired of playing in suburbia.

23. How long have you had a simblr? Not long, I lurked awhile before posting though..."awhile" being a year.

24. How do you edit your pictures? I use Clip Studio Paint. I’m too lazy to *ahem* photoshop and I have it for drawing purposes anyways.

Usually it’s just using different blending modes (multiply, overlay, soft light, glow dodge my beloved) and special effect brushes.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far?

Expansion: Get Together. I’ve used the club functionality in nearly every save I’ve played.

Game Pack: Vampires, Realm of Magic, Werewolves. Not because they’re particularly good but because I’m a sucker for occults.

Stuff Pack: Paranormal. Again occults, but this one also has an acceptable amount of gameplay in it. I’m surprised they didn’t try to pawn it off as a game pack.

26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? I'll get Growing Together when it's 50% off. However if before then EA gets too goofy with what remains of TS4, (TS5 is going to be ""free"" to play, it's already fucked.) I'll probably just you know what the rest of the game. EDIT: I wrote this last night. After seeing that job opening for the marketing position on Project Rene...haha yeah. Shit's depressing.
