Restore the Ranch

Residential, 64x64, (4 bed, 3,5 bath), $55.287. NoCC, debug, play tested (and mostly inaccessible, as intended), mostly unfurnished but bare basics liveable. Lot challenges: Wild Prairie Grass, Simple Living, Off-the-Grid, Wild Foxes, Creepy Crawlies.

If you love games where you inherit a farm and have to rebuild it from the ground up, then this lot's for you. Most of the lot is inaccessible, aside from a conviently placed poohoo bush, a sleeping bag and a campfire (we're nice to our sims). Play around with unlocking the other parts of the lot and you'll have a thriving ranch.

The house can become a lovely 4 bedroom family home. There's a stable with place for three horses. See if you can find the hidden chicken coop, and there are sheds that can be replaced by animal sheds for cows and/or llamas. There's also a dried up pond - and a disintegrated nectary. Plenty of things to do!

It's probably most enjoyable if you make it a bit of a gameplay challenge for your Sim, but you can of course tear it apart in build mode. And remove all the carefully placed debug items with the sledgehammer. I won't judge, it's your game after all :)

Honeydew Houses (unfurnished)

Time has left its marks, but Honeydew Houses are still are charming place to live. These old Britechester townhouses come with six apartments on five floors for you to furnish to your liking, as well as an (already decorated) laundry room on the groundfloor.

There are two apartments with two bedrooms, the others only have one. The one on the top floor also comes with a balcony. The kitchen and bathroom of every apartment already have some very basic furniture, but it's mostly meant as a placeholder, you don't have to stick to the suggested floorplan, do whatever you want with this.

I know the staircase situation isn't super realistic, but I wanted to place the stairs as space-saving as possible because some of the apartments were already rather small, and I really wanted the one on the first floor to have two bedrooms, so...yeah...

Also for some reason I couldn't place any banisters on the stairs (except for the one on the groundfloor), so I had to close them of with walls, which really bugged me out, but I couldn't find another solution. I hope you don't mind too much...

I'm also planning to upload a furnished version of this build at some point, but who know when this is going to happen... lol

I want to fall asleep to the crackle of fan blades and hope to wake up next spring. another glimmer of light in her hair, the dry smell of dust and the rustle of light curtains. I will be stuck with salt between thin eyelids, penetrating through the veins to the tips of my fingers, I will remain empty prints on the skin, but one day it will become your home - warm hoarse whispering so high that the thin fingers of antennas can barely reach the cover of our sky, woven from pale shadows, light headlights, rustles and laughter. I extend my heart into the cracks in the sun so that it can be written with this fluctuation of soft rays, love poems carved on the skin so gently that it does not hurt in the chaos of other lacerated wounds. I remember what it's like to believe in something other than angels. ☆ "friends, this can be called a teaser of my project called "aviestad", at the moment everything is in active development and I am inspired by what is happening, I want to convey the atmosphere that I feel to you and tell the story that was born in my head. I hope The first post will not be long in coming and will appear very soon!!" ♫♫♫

This save file was originally created by Teknikah and downloaded from her post on Mod The Sims.

Teknikah's post was last updated on 17th Aug 2022, so it was missing a couple of worlds. (at the time of this post)

San Sequoia and Ceshtnut Ride have been added to the game since then. I updated the Savefile and decided to share it with anyone looking for something like this.

This savefile has all the worlds from all the packs. Apparently, savefiles work whether or not you have specific packs; your game will just skip the worlds you don't own.

PS (if anyone finds this post): I have a few rundown lots, as well as "aged" and dystopian builds that I made for my own gameplay, let me know if I should upload them here.

CC FREE BUILD Happy Simblreen! I am not amazing enough to do the whole porchlight thing, but I wanted to contribute if anyone was interested. I made a haunted house. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is CC free. I have all of the EP's, kits, and SPs, so if you do not have them, all some things will not show up. The wonderful Ly family in Willow Creek was lovingly created for the save by @cowplant-snacks. All other neighbors were made by me, you can meet all of them here! Pets are from Pugowned, misc. townies from @cowplant-snacks and @simsontherope on the gallery.

There's lots of little details and things to explore, both around the world and relationship wise, so I'm excited to see what y'all uncover. Please feel free to @theneighborhoodsave in your posts or tag #theneighborhoodsave. I'd love to see what your sims are up to!

The save is 100% CC free! Please note that I do have all expansions, packs, and kits (except for Castle Estate, Goth Galore + Crystal Creations.) For any items you don't own the game will try to auto find replacements for those items. The file is mostly blank this time around but does include the original EA builds in university and vacation type worlds (sans Granite Falls.)

Included is a folder of completely optional skin details/eyelashes for the neighbor sims. Thank you to @faaeish, @pyxiidis, @tamo-sim, and @landgraabbed! There are 4 pieces of CC I cannot include in the folder due to creator TOU. Please check the included "Read Me" file for more information.

If you've never used a save file and need help installing it, I highly recommend this tutorial by @leeleebsimming.
