my friend harmony is a disabled trans lesbian who has been homeless for almost two months now , relying solely on the kindness of strangers to make ends meet . after all this time , she’s finally caught a break – her cousin has extended an invitation to live with her and has offered to help her get a job at her place of work . this is absolutely fantastic news and i’m so so excited for harmony to get back on her feet !! 

the only issue is that her cousin lives roughly 2000 miles across the country . harmony is ready to go whenever , she just needs a little more help: she’s disabled and cannot drive for super long periods of time , so she will need to stop and stay at a hotel a few times along the way ( ~$200 ) . she also needs gas to fill up her tank ( ~$250 ) and food to eat ( ~$50 ) .

I'm a disabled trans woman. My dad is temporarily unable to work and so my mom is our family's only breadwinner.

And her employer stole her entire last paycheck.

And things have gotten worse since. After a mental health crisis caused by this situation, mom spent three weeks sitting and lying in the same position - and had to be hospitalized for infected bedsores.

Okay so we're on the final stretch. Mom has recovered and she has found a job abroad and she's leaving soon. However, she needs to be able to buy medication for her job. These include both her anti-anxiety and blood pressure medication, but also painkillers that she needs since the accident in February.

We have about 27 dollars left. (And obviously mom will be paid only a month from now, and unlikely she will get an advance...)

Heyyyy Besties! One of my long term Facebook friends is an unhoused Black trans woman who does mutual aid organizing for Black trans women. She raises funds and redistributes them to a list of people she helps who are all Black and transfemme. She's done this every month for 3 years! Last month she hit a record in terms of redistributing and hit 1470 dollars, but she has a bunch of recipients so it doesn't go as far as people expect. My partner and I have been homeless for a bit and we recently had to move cities after losing employment. We have been struggling to keep sheltered as the weather gets colder and wetter and, with me being increasingly ill, we need all the help we can get to meet our basic needs. I've been waiting EIGHT years and I finally have a top surgery date in May, but the cost of travel to London and back for the surgery and post-op checks are gonna be fairly fucking out of our budget.

Also, the same day I got the appointment I also found out we are being evicted after the 4th June.

hello, i have a post about this on my other blog @genderqueerdykes but i know a lot of people don't know that that's me. i am a physically disabled autistic trans genderqueer person living with schizophrenia, PTSD arthritis, ehler's danlos syndrome, degenerative disc disease, and fibromyalgia. i was living in a hotel paying $40/night for 2 months and have finally relocated into my subsidized apartment after months of fighting. i had to pay a $250 deposit on top of prorated rent for the short amount of time i'm living here in March.

i have also had to pay for food, bedding, cleaning supplies, toiletries, dental supplies, shipping supplies for my business, etc. since moving in so my money is stretched extremely thin.

I need help paying April's rent. My monthly rent is $178/month. I currently have:

hello, my name is equinox, i am severely disabled autistic trans person dealing with schizophrenia, PTSD, arthritis, hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome, degenerative disc disease and gastroparesis. i am a wheelchair and cane user. i am recovering and stabilizing after being homeless for 6 months; i just spent 2 full months living in a hotel paying $38/night. i have relocated into my apartment that i was waiting 6 months for due to the subsidized housing program taking forever to calculate my earned income

i just paid $307 for my deposit + prorated rent in order to move in, as well as a $20 electric bill and a $35 bill to get internet set up, which is required for my jewelry business. i also had i also currently need a lot of things in order to make my house livable including a bed and food, and being able to get to the pharmacy for my medications. right now i have no food in my home due to having to spend money on uber XLs to and from my motel and storage unit in order to get the few possessions i have like blankets and personal belongings. i lost a lot of my kitchen supplies when transitioning between staying with friends for a while

i have almost no money on me right now. i will be re-stocking my shop with new items later today, but for now I need help being able to afford my living expenses as well as being able to afford to ship my products out to my customers. thank you to everyone who has helped thus far you have kept me safe for 6 months. you can help me here:

We all know how violent police are to queer people. Nigeria is no different.

I'm trying to help a Nigerian trans femme named Lola with survival funds, but donations have seriously slowed down over the last few months. She's sick, she's hungry, her job isn't paying her well at all, and she's just been attacked by the corrupt and violent cops in Nigeria. SARS (Nigerian police/special task for basically) is notorious for harassing the shit out of people, especially queer Nigerians or anyone who doesn't look cishet.

Lola needs funds for food, medicine, and her HRT since she's been inconsistent on it due to a lack of money. The cops robbed even though she begged them not to because she was sick.

This isn't the first time she's been attacked and it likely won't be the last. Please help in any way that you can. We're not starting at zero, but we've got a long way to go.
