What a coincidence that random and clearly made up stories about Harry and Meghan are doing the rounds, just as a certain "journalist" has serious allegations levelled against him...how curious 🤔

I am on a point of my life that I question most people on series they recommend me if there is anything triggering and if the ending is sort of happy or if the representation of marginalized groups on it is any good. If it's all bad, I don't watch it.
Some people might think this makes me dumb, but on certain times tragedy in real life are enough and you just want some media that gives you hope. You're not ignorant for wanting to consume media that lifts you up, makes you laugh and distract from sadness.
It is okay to choose good entertainment when you are struggling in real life. Let the things you watch lift you up instead of bringing you down into misery. You don't have to consume only tragic stories or incredibly serious media to be considered an intellectual.
Being wise is choosing what is better for your health right now, and if something triggers you or makes you even sadder than you already are, what is the point? It is not helpful to only consume media that reminds you of how hard life is when you are already in a crisis and in need of relaxing, of rest, of getting your mind off things for a while so you can look at them with a cleared mind.

Improve your digital wellbeing; pay attention to the media you consume
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, it’s all too easy to get caught up in the constant stream of information and media that surrounds us. The media we consume can have a powerful effect on our thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
constantly tuned in
Guess what my guilty pleasure used to be? Go ahead, guess.
*cue jeopardy music*
Bet you didn’t say, politics, did you? To absolutely no one’s surprise, I used to be so upset, angry, and on-edge all the time. I told myself it was my responsibility to be an informed citizen and pay attention otherwise we can’t demand change, so I tuned in 24/7. I watched the news morning and…

I feel like Pinterest has so many “achieve perfection” ads.
How to get perfect skin, how to hide your belly, how to keep your cravings away, how to whiten your teeth, how to have perfect nails, etc.
And for health and personal enjoyment? GO FOR IT! I support you! Stay healthy, stay happy babes!!
But I feel like a lot of the time, it makes you see completely human and natural things about yourself as bad.
You’re aging? Stop it.
Your skin is breaking out? Cover it up or use all these products.
Your middle is larger? Put on compression shorts with the gut slimming effect.
Can we just…exist? Can we age and see the passage of time on our beautiful bodies?
Can we normalize the fact that we don’t all have glass skin and sometimes we cannot change that?
Can we be as curvy as we want?
I don’t know about you, but I wanna feel confident in simply existing. Not nitpicking myself for being alive.
Idk that’s my thought today.
Btw, you’re so beautiful/handsome. Always and forever no matter what happens.

Prince Harry's uncle, Charles Spencer, shows his support for Harry's case. Charles Spencer, brother of Princess Diana, shared former Labour adviser Alistair Campbell's tweets about the case via Twitter & Instagram.
One of the tweets was about the dangers of reading about Harry's case via UK media sources, which clearly have an agenda against Prince Harry.

There are some ships that you just know would be 100% canon if they were an M/F ship, and that's mainly what pisses people off the most in these situations.
It isn't just about the ship; it's also very much about the homophobia (whether the creators know it or not) that is preventing the ship from being canon when they otherwise would be.

hey btw before you start being angry at the 10 year old sephora kids and the ipad kids, remember that we should feel bad for them. because the world has failed them. it is not these kids faults that the world is so focused on materialistic things and that their parents don't know how to talk to them. that is the fault of social media and bad parenting. i said what i said.

actually i think one of the things i loved most about love and thunder was thor’s character journey and the healthy representation it is for young boys that are watching this movie. how thor shows that it’s okay to show emotions and to feel things even if it hurts. how thor fights alongside two women the entire movie and it seems like the greatest honor of his life. how thor outwardly loves and shares his feelings with jane and wants her to know how much he actually loves her instead of shying away from it. how thor showed that it’s a role of a lifetime to cook and clean and get your kid dressed and take care of them because that’s what a dad should be doing too. how thor didn’t clean off mjolnir after love put makeup on it despite being a traditionally feminine thing. how thor isn’t serious and closed off all of the time but silly and goofy and just wants to live life. he is such a positive role model for young boys growing up right now, and the movie even showed us that by showing how much the kids in new asgard admire him. idk it just makes me really soft and chris hemsworth truly should be very proud of what he has done to thor over the years and how he has become that role model for so many kids across the world. ily god of thunder
