Better BuildBuy v3.2 The "CC Report" Update!

I've added a CC Report feature for easily sharing and assessing your CC builds. This is accessed via a new Construction Center button, which will grow with time to become your main point of access for Better BuildBuy's future settings, features, and help guides. Favorites have also received an improvement in behavior.

Added a Construction Center button to the filter panel. This will become the main hub for future Better BuildBuy features and options.

Added a CC Report option to the Construction Center menu, which will generate a list of all CC packages used in your current build.

The CC Report will open in your browser, and has an "Export Spreadsheet" option at the bottom, where you can add a column for links to the creators' CC pages.

Enhanced the favorites system so that favoriting a swatch variant won't require you to have that color selected in the filters in order to see the favorite. This was causing some players to mistakenly think the favorite hadn't been saved.

Color filters can still be used in favorites view to exclusively filter to the selected colors. Public release set for 11/28. ==============================

Better BuildBuy is a build mode suite that adds various enhancements, including: 🔸Organized Debug - clonable, swatched, categorized debug and liveedit items. 🔸TOOL Build Mode Integration (requires TOOL) 🔸Better Filters - view just CC, just debug, or just liveedit. Filters stay set betwen game sessions. 🔸Build Cheat integration - never enter a manual build cheat again. Use the filter options. 🔸Favorites - Favorite your frequent items with middle-click. 🔸Expandable Catalog - Use the tilda or 1 key on your number row to expand the catalog. 🔸CC Report - Get a list of object CC package files used in your current build. 🔸Light Editor - Edit lights within build mode, using BBB's lighting color wheel. Just shift click a light.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wishes this gate was compatible with this fence, and while there is cc out there to make the gate bigger, I personally wanted to keep it 2 tile wide, so here's a quick and easy tutorial to force this gate into looking how you want, accessible to people who know exactly One (1) TOOL command (dont worry me too)

What you need:

Horse ranch (obviously)

Twisted Mexi's TOOL mod [here]

The pillar I used* comes from growing together (below), but you can use whatever you have available, as long as you're fine with the gate posts being bigger than the fence posts. Note that from close up the original posts may poke through a little, but it's easy to ignore.

*Can't confirm if the colours match decently to any other fence swatch, as I only used the black fence.

To start off with, you obviously have to place down the gate where you want it. You can add in your pillars now, or after you've raised the gate. Now toggle TOOL with Shift + T.

To lift the gate, select it and use the elevate command. (If, like me, you've never touched TOOL before deciding you want to fix this gate, you'll know it's selected when it's green and seethrough.) Type in ".3" to raise the gate in line with the top of the fence. Unless you wanna mess with smaller decimals anything higher is too high, and if you wanna go lower that's personal preference.

Now, onto the pillars. If you haven't whacked em down already, place your pillars onto either side of the gate, and select with tool. From my (limited) personal experience selecting and deselecting pillars with tool is a little finicky and its easy to accidentally move them, and if that happens just undo.

Again, we're using the elevate command, but in reverse to lower the pillars. In order to get them flush with the height of other fence posts, type in "-1.5". Making the command negative will lower the object. Make sure you do this on both pillars, obviously.

Now, with all of that done, you should be able to exit tool mode and have a beautiful gate that spites EA's gate sizing.

[T.O.O.L. Creations: The Golden Harp]

A CC-free deco sculpture, created with T.O.O.L.

Since we build CC-free, Xan “makes” a lot of things with T.O.O.L. This one came out nice, so: a harp, for your music room, solarium, concert hall, etc. Saved as a 2x2 room. Obviously not functional, but it looks nice. Just remember to turn the component lights off. :3

Base game save file update: Newcrest is done! THANK GOD IM SO SICK OF THE BASE GAME SUBURBAN BUILD STYLE. IM SO EXCITED TO WORK ON MY FAVORITE BASE GAME WORLD

In the bottom we have the community lots that I forgot to get photos of rn 💀 The lounge is a fancy hotel, and next to it is an apartment building. Then the "park" is a pool and gym and next to it is a diner. the last building is a kids play centre.

The side is just a row of houses, I just added some more trees around since it looked more like a place for community lots then houses (but then what are the giant lots for?)

And then at the top we have more houses and a church for weddings and burying your loved ones- there's also 2 starter homes here and i fleshed out the park!

The park might look odd if you dont have seasons or its not summer/winter since that big ass skating rink is randomly placed in the middle 💀 they couldn't have put it off the path, at least?
