50% are people of colour
50% are women
50% are under 45
50% have a non upper class background
100% of them are ultra right wing bastards
Every single one of these candidates supported Priti Patel’s anti immigration laws.
They’re vocal in their transphobia, making it a main part of their platform.
A lot of them were part of BoJo’s cabinet, which oversaw hundreds of Britons having to choose between heating and food.
They attack those in poverty for relying on benefits but do nothing to stop the living crisis.
The Conservative Party’s leadership race is a brilliant example of how diversity quotas are meaningless if their politics are the all the same.

The latest polling by YouGov shows extreme support for Larry Cat to win leadership bid. Polling shows him with a shocking 38-point lead on the second most popular candidate Rishi Sunak.
Other candidates are closely tied with only points between them however, it's clear Larry has not only popular support but is favoured by remaining Tory support within Parliament.

Report: Beijing behind cyberattacks on UK MPs and peers, deputy PM to warn
A group of British politicians has been targeted by Chinese cyberattacks, U.K. Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden will tell parliament on Monday, according to the Sunday Times. Alison Giles, the parliament’s director of security, has called a group of MPs and peers, who are all members of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC), for a briefing on the matter, the newspaper said. Tom Tugendhat out of leadership race as Conservatives fear lasting damage from attacks
Tom Tugendhat was eliminated from the Conservative party leadership race on Monday night after failing to secure enough votes from MPs.
The former army officer was removed after securing only 31 backers despite giving a widely praised performance during the leadership debates.
The departure of the moderate One Nation Tory means that there only right-wing candidates, although Rishi Sunak, the former chancellor, and Penny Mordaunt will be regarded as more centrist contenders.
Kemi Badenoch increased her support significantly getting to 58 votes and Mr Sunak had 115 backers, which is five short of the 120 needed to get into the final pair.

Ms Mordaunt, who suffered a weekend of media scrutiny and smear stories, lost one vote, going back to 82, but remains in second place.
Liz Truss went from 64 to 71, showing a slight increase but not as big as she had hoped. It could still prove that some of Ms Badenoch's supporters go to her rather than Ms Mordaunt.

With violence erupting between Israel and Palestinian militant groups over the weekend, there are already reports of attacks on Jews and Jewish communities prompted by the latest chapter of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Several incidents have so far been recorded in Britain, where the authorities have stepped up protective measures, but early reports suggest possible instances of hate in Paris and New York as well.
The attacks by Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants—which began on Saturday and coincided not only with the Sabbath but the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah—have already led to an estimated 1,100 confirmed deaths in Israel and Gaza and thousands of wounded, including many civilians. Nine American citizens are among the dead, according to the State Department.
After Israel's defense minister, Yoav Gallant, ordered a "complete siege" of the Gaza Strip, the death toll is expected to rise significantly.
While many world leaders were quick to condemn the attacks by Hamas militants, some activists have viewed the killings as a justified response to the Israeli treatment of Palestinians.
Despite holding Jews collectively responsible for the actions of the state of Israel being an example of antisemitism cited by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's working definition of Jew-hate, there are early suggestions that some are already doing just that.
On Monday, the British newspaper Jewish News reported that a Kosher restaurant in a predominantly Jewish part of London had been vandalized, with a door smashed in. Nearby bridges had been graffitied with the words "Free Palestine."
"There is no tolerance for hate in our city," Mayor of London Sadiq Khan wrote in response. "I remain in close contact with the Met Police. Whoever did this will face the full force of the law."
The Community Security Trust, a U.K.-based charity that provides security to Jewish institutions, said it was "already seeing incidents of racist antisemitism against Jewish people and property in response to the awful terror attack in Israel."
On Sunday, CST Chief Executive Mark Gardner said he had spoken with the British Home Secretary Suella Braverman and security minister Tom Tugendhat, who has Jewish ancestry, about measures that were needed to protect Jews.
"CST was already on a high security alert and deployment," he said. "That's because of the general situation of antisemitism right now here in the U.K. Those security deployments will continue for as long as necessary."
According to The Times, the CST has already received reports of verbal abuse mentioning the situation in the Middle East being hurled at Jewish people or synagogues. The Metropolitan Police has stepped up patrols in response to incidents shared on social media.
"We are aware that this conflict has a far-reaching impact on communities around the world, and we extend our full support to those affected in London," Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine said in a statement.
"We are aware that a number of demonstrations and protests are planned. We have spoken to the organizers and we expect these will pass off peacefully," he added. "However, we will take a zero-tolerance approach to any activity which crosses the lines into criminality."
Braverman wrote in an X, formerly Twitter, post on Sunday: "There must be zero tolerance for antisemitism or glorification of terrorism on the streets of Britain. I expect the police to use the full force of the law against displays of support for Hamas, other proscribed terrorist groups or attempts to intimidate British Jews."
Elsewhere, video footage online appears to show a man being detained by police outside the gates of Beth Hanna Jewish school in Paris's 19th arrondissement. The person who posted the clip alleged the man had been impersonating a Jew and had been found to have "several knives" on him.
Though Newsweek was able to verify the location of the footage, it could not immediately confirm the full nature of the incident. The Parisian police were contacted via email for comment on Monday.
Meanwhile, images of demonstrators at a pro-Palestinian rally in New York City's Times Square on Sunday show one protester holding up an image of a Nazi swastika on his phone during the event. Displaying a swastika in New York is considered a hate crime and a criminal offense.
Before the march had taken place, New York Governor Kathy Hochul criticized it as "morally repugnant."

For anyone wondering what the Tories are doing now in the UK its this. We have essentially lost the right to protest. It is now illegal to cause ‘disruption’ during a protest which is (shockingly) the entire purpose of them and you may be sentenced to prison time. Fuck the tories.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4, Home Office minister, Tom Tugendhat, said protesters were free to demonstrate, but “they don’t have a right to… disrupt others”. When he was asked to describe exactly what protesters could and could not do, he was unable to do so.
That is not an error. It is the purpose of the bill. It aims to make the trigger for criminal penalties so broad, and the meaning of key terms so nebulous, that it will be hard for a protester to know they are abiding by the law. This is its function. It is its purpose. It is a direct attack on freedom of speech.

Three female MPs have been given taxpayer-funded bodyguards and cars as concerns over politicians’ safety are escalating.
The women – who have not been named but include representatives of the Conservative and Labour parties – have had their security upgraded as MPs are said to be “petrified” at the abuse they are facing.
In an overhaul of safety measures in place for MPs, Security Minister Tom Tugendhat has been working with the Home Office, the police and the parliamentary authorities, as well as the royal and VIP executive committee (Ravec), a secretive organisation responsible for the security of senior politicians and the royal family.
The new process, launched following a referral by police or parliamentary authorities, comes as the threat level faced by British politicians has shot up in recent weeks.
A senior security source told The Sunday Times: “Many MPs are petrified by the abuse they are facing.”
The newspaper understands the three female MPs have been given close protection from private companies, as well as chauffeur-driven cars, which are usually only limited to senior members of the cabinet and the leader of the opposition.
“We’ve taken a front-footed approach to co-ordinating action against the people or suspects that intelligence suggests most threaten MPs,” said a senior Whitehall source.
Other MPs’ security is also under review if they are deemed at risk, while, for those not needing the highest level of protection, thousands of security measures have been put in place in London and at hundreds of constituency offices and homes.
Private security operatives have been used at thousands of members’ surgeries and hundreds of events, alongside a police presence if required. MPs also have access to security advice, including via advisers based throughout the UK.
Ravec’s membership and decisions are mostly opaque, although insiders do say it has a budget of hundreds of millions of pounds.
It comes after the Palestine Solidarity Campaign defended the right to lobby MPs “in large numbers”, amid reports the group wanted so many protesters to turn up that Parliament would “have to lock the doors”.
The group said the issue of MPs’ security was “serious” but should not be used to “shield MPs from democratic accountability”.
The organisation’s director Ben Jamal said thousands of people were “shamefully” denied entry into Parliament on Wednesday as they attempted to lobby MPs to vote in favour of a ceasefire in Gaza in what he described was one of the largest physical lobbies of parliament in history.
The Times reported that Mr Jamal told a crowd of demonstrators in the build-up to the protest on Wednesday: “We want so many of you to come that they will have to lock the doors of Parliament itself.”
Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the Commons Speaker who has faced calls to resign after going against convention during the SNP’s Opposition Day debate on a ceasefire, said his motivation for widening Wednesday’s discussion was fuelled by concern about MPs’ security because of intimidation suffered by some parliamentarians.
Mr Jamal said the group “does not call” for protests outside MPs’ homes and believed parliamentarians have a right “to have their privacy respected”.
The government’s political violence tsar has said police should have the powers to “disperse” protests around Parliament, MPs’ offices and council chambers that they deem to be threatening.
Baron Walney, the Government’s adviser on political violence and disruption, said on Friday that the “aggressive intimidation of MPs” by “mobs” was being mistaken for an “expression of democracy”.
The crossbench peer, who in December submitted a Government-commissioned review into how actions by political groups can “cross into criminality and disruption to people’s lives”, told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme he was calling for police forces to act “uniformly in stopping” protest outside MPs’ homes.
