[Blows the dust off this blog] Long time no see...

Back in the Danganronpa pits... have some silly doodles for an...AU? or like, slight canon divergence/missing scene? I got to chapter 5 in my THH replay and was thinking about the part where these four are alone in the gym dismantling Monokuma all night.

I know realistically it's supposed to be because they were paranoid and extra careful about taking it slow so nothing went wrong... but like... their alibi is from 10pm to 7am? In my heart of hearts it actually took the whole night because they kept getting distracted and chit-chatting and got into a bunch of shenanigans once the actual dismantling part was done. Like Byakuya says they went to the bathroom in pairs?? Not to mention you'd totally expect him to make a comment about how insufferable it was being stuck together for like nine hours. And Hina says they played rock paper scissors to decide who brought back breakfast???

You can't tell me they didn't bond at least a little bit. A friend pointed out it'd have the vibes of a 4am discord call and that's exactly it. Emotional confessions about personal fears and insecurities to dumb physiological debates that become inside jokes forever. Etc.

Ok so felt the need to add a bit of a disclaimer that I’m a singlet. I did a bit of digging into DID/OSDD systems and specifically their different opinions on the Fukawas and it was a bit…divisive. finished dr1 and MAN . thinking about makoto’s feelings towards junko and mukuro.

he feels BAD for mukuro dying. he Knows she’s the ultimate despair, but he can’t hate her??? kyoko doesn’t get it and literally has to remind him when he shows sympathy. and even when he finds out mukuro’s role in the whole thing, he still berates junko for literally killing her sister??? her twin???

and GOD JUNKO. he had been Screaming at junko during the last half of the trial. he even cursed!!! 😓 she was the reason the world was ruin. she was the reason why his friends were dead. AND REMINDER homegirl fr committed sororicide 💀 but when she goes to start her own execution, he hesitates with letting her. yk how CRAZY that is??? like . yes, he does heavily dislike junko, but to show even the slightest of sympathy to what she’s about to go through is just .

makoto and his ability to always feel for people will always be his undoing And special power. its always chalked up to him being “soft” or “naive” throughout the game, but he’s truly one of the most emotionally mature characters.

Okay, straight-up, I really only started liking Toko when I played UDG.

She's cool, don't get me wrong, I just liked her better when she only had one character trait and that was being insulting and strange XD

I like Syo, though. Syo's funny :)

(Sorry for being gone for a while again, I was really busy with a book release & didn't have much time for this. I'll finish the single characters by the end of this weekend, don't worry!)
