More Owl House Parallels/Theories that I just noticed but I'm probably late to

So we know there's already a Parallel of the Wittebane Brothers and Luz and Hunter, but there was one thing that has me thinking more on it

Obviously Phillip has always looked up to witch hunting and wants to join but at this memory he's too young and it's more of a game.

Later we see Caleb carve the mask and then play with Phillip. You could say it's "training" but in the next memory it really looks like an older brother just entertaining his little brother.

It gives me the vibes of when kids dress up as their favorite superhero and then "catch the bad guy" a character a parent or older sibling might play.

And then we see this memory and something just isn't scratching my brain right. Philip is wearing the mask. He's obviously older and going on a real witch hunt now so why is he wearing something from when he was a kid? Especially when no one else (at least from what we see) is wearing a mask.

And then I thought back to Thanks to Them.

Particularly this scene. Hunter is willing to fight Belos but he's obviously scared, which is valid considering he's about to face his abuser. He's also frustrated with himself because of it until Luz gives back the "Masked confidence".

So my brain has me thinking that the memory we see of the Wittebane brothers go on a real witch hunt, Phillip got scared last second. Which is understandable. It's not a game anymore, and obviously, the boys are their own with no parents. It wouldn't surprise me if they became orphaned in a horrible way, so going to hunt a witch, someone with supernatural powers that could easily kill you or your brother, probably has Phillip second guessing himself. Until his brother hands him the masked he carved years ago and promises that they'll stick together and that he isn't worried because his strong witch hunter brother will protect him.

I know that this is the first version of the mask Belos wears throughout the boiling isles but if he felt that betrayed but Caleb he wouldn't have wore a similar mask to the one his brother made for him explicitly or made grimmwalkers of his brother, no matter how twisted his reasoning was.

PRE-SCOM Fluff! One Shot.

Good morning folks. I've been dealing with a loss in the (extended) family and immediate family home with Covid, so the next chapter of SCOM has been going slow. Will be out tomorrow or Saturday!

In the mean time I felt the need to write some fluff and decided to write some pre TTT Huntlow Human Realm Fluff.

Hope you all enjoy! Thanks to @pitafish (who drew Mizuki art!) for the song prompt! The fic changed shapes a few times before I settled on the theme, but I think it works.

“Now.” The Captain turned to Hunter and passed him her satchel. “Can I ask you something?” “Yes Captain!” He answered. “Of course!” Flapjack fluttered to the top of the tree and rustled in the leaves until another perfect golden apple fell straight into his hands. He dropped it in the bag. “Why do you still call me “Captain?” She asked. ______________________ While trapped in the Human Realm, Hunter accompanies Willow on an apple picking excursion, where they get a chance to talk about the nuances of their relationship -- without actually talking about it at all.
