I love how Blood of Eden names work, but Jod willing if having a literature quote as a name was socially acceptable here I would misuse it so badly. It would take me like 9 seconds to be like “Actually Pacific Rim IS classic literature and you WILL refer to me as Today We Are Canceling The Apocalypse.”

“ you understand my ass! ”
𝐌𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐎 𝐙𝐔 𝐒𝐇𝐈 𝐐𝐔𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 — ACCEPTING!
“Then we’re getting nowhere,” Kogami argued.
Tough talk coming from the guy who’s equally as likely to conceal don’t feel and all that, though it’s clear that this time, the Neural Handshake cut Thana somewhere deep in a way he’s not sure how to address.
Trying to get into sync with each other had been nothing short of a nightmare, with Thana’s own memories nearly overtaking him and vice versa; they nearly destroyed the Shatterdome with their Jaeger’s weapons because of how deeply they’d been sucked in by the RABBIT, trying to eradicate an enemy seen only by their minds.
Today, it’s their memories. Tomorrow, it could be his.
It’s times like this where Kogami wonders what’s going through the Jaeger Program administrators’ heads when they paired these two together, knowing their luggage; Kogami can admit to his own stubbornness, so much that he simply wouldn’t admit to having any problems at all, but it’s another thing to have that stubbornness in a partner. He would never say he’d rather have another partner altogether, but he knows there are only so many people in the program that can keep up with him; that alone, he doesn’t want to lose.
“... I understand it’s hard,” Kogami begins, slowly, as if treading on thin ice, “but rejecting the notion is only going to hurt us,” he motions towards the rest of the room, “and everyone around us.”
“So, you know what? Maybe you’re right. Maybe I don’t understand. But we’re getting nowhere acting like I can’t. I have to, for us, and for everyone here. Make room for me in that Headspace of yours, Thana.”
And I’ll try to make room in mine for you.

"Today. Today... At the edge of our hope, at the end of our time, we have chosen not only to believe in ourselves, but in each other. Today there is not a man nor woman in here that shall stand alone. Not today. Today we face the monsters that are at our door and bring the fight to them! Today, we are canceling the apocalypse!"

The Tale Of Two Cities According To Heiko And Stephi
Today I'll write about one of the big differences between Cologne and Munich: Snow.
Taking a look at yesterday (Saturday, December 2nd ) is the best example of this difference.
While in Cologne not even one snowflake was seen, in Munich it hasn't stopped snowing since it started during the night before. We had 44 cm of fresh snow, adding to the around 20cm that were already there, and it will be even more. Almost everything was down here. In Munich and south Bavaria, local and long-distance public transportation were (and to a degree still are) down. Only a few underground lines were still going, but all were delayed. The winter road maintenance couldn't keep up. The airport was closed and flights were cancelled. Most exhibitions, trade fairs, Christmas markets and festivals were closed. Many shops, cafes and restaurants were closed, too. Parks are still closed and there are official warnings to not go to the mountains or into a forest due to the safety risks of falling branches and trees. Even certain streets were closed. And in some parts of Bavaria, there were power supply failures.
Worst of all: A soccer match was cancelled. Can you imagine that? A soccer match. And when soccer is cancelled in Germany, then you know we're close to the apocalypse.
My husband and I couldn't go to work because there was simply no possibility of getting there.
In Munich, we are used to snow, and even when it snows a lot, everything is still running normally here. But yesterday (and to some degree even today) it's more extreme than what we are used to. Though I still love snow and I pity Heiko for living in snowless Cologne. Poor Heiko, he rarely has snow in winter and when it snows in Cologne it very soon turns into mud and melts away.
Do you have snow in your area? Do you like snow?

Everything's Fine
Pairing: Sam, Dean, Cas x reader (platonic)
Summary: Reader (she/her) lives in the bunker with team free will, and helps them with hunts and apocalypses. The day before they're due to go off on a hunt, reader feels sick but tries to ignore it. She can't get out of bed the next morning so the hunt is cancelled and the boys spend the day looking after her.
Note: this was written by myself for myself; there are probably mistakes. My first language is English but I'm not American, so it may sound weird in places if you happen to be American reading it. If you do happen to come across this and spend time reading it, I hope you enjoy it somewhat!
Masterlist
Story:
[Y/N] was sitting in the bunker's library, trying to absorb as much as she could on rugarus before the next day. Sam and Dean had hunted them before, but it was going to be a first time for [Y/N]. She had her head propped up with one hand while the other turned the pages of one of the library's old books. She found herself re-reading the same paragraph multiple times, her brain not taking in the information on the page. She'd felt a little bit off since she woke up that morning; tired, foggy, a little bit of a headache. None of the team really got sick, it wasn't something they had to deal with. On the rare occasion that one of them would catch something, Cas would just heal them within a few seconds and they'd be good to go. [Y/N] would have asked Cas to have a look at her, but he had lost a substantial amount of grace during an incident the week beforehand and was still recovering. He would probably be able to fix a cold or even the flu, but it would take a lot out of him and it wasn't like [Y/N] was dying.
"Earth to [Y/N]?" She felt a tap on her shoulder and groggily turned to look up, it was Dean. "I called your name like three times, you okay?" He glanced down at the page she was reading. "I'm pretty sure that's the same page you were on when I was here 30 minutes ago.. what's up?" [Y/N] just shook her head and closed the book.
"Everything's fine, I'm just tired Dean, I think I'll take this to bed and try have an early night. What time are we leaving at in the morning?"
"As early as possible, it's a long drive. Aim to be out at the car for 6:30 yeah?"
[Y/N] nodded and yawned, grabbing the book and making her way to her room. Dean watched her leave, and noticed that she was dragging her feet. She definitely seemed off to him, but maybe she was just tired.
***
"Is [Y/N] coming on the hunt or is she staying here with Cas?" Asked Sam the next morning. He and dean had already loaded up the car with what they'd need on the hunt, all they were waiting for now was [Y/N]. However, none of them had seen her that morning, usually she would be up early helping the boys get ready.
"She said she was, I told her to be at the car for 6:30, haven't you seen her today?"
"I haven't seen her since yesterday"
"I haven't seen her either" Cas mentioned as he walked into the garage.
The three of them shared a look before leaving the garage and making their way straight to [Y/N]'s room. Dean knocked on the door. "[Y/N] you ready to go? It's 6:45". No answer, he knocked again. "[Y/N] you in there? Open up". The three of them stood outside her door waiting for a response, but they were only met by silence. Dean pushed the door open to darkness. Flicking on the lights, his eyes were drawn to the bed where there was a pile of blankets and pillows. He walked over to the bed and knelt down beside it, pulling the blankets back slightly to reveal [Y/N] fast asleep.
He put the back of his hand against her forehead and was shocked by how hot is was. He gently shook her shoulder in an attempt to wake her up. "[Y/N], Sweetheart, wake up". She mumbled something and pulled the cover back over her head. Dean turned to look at Sam and Cas who both wore worried expressions on their faces. Dean pulled the covers back off her face and she whined, trying weakly to pull them out of Dean's grasp. Cas made his way over and placed his fingers on her forehead.
"It's the flu. I can heal her but it will make my own recovery extend."
[Y/N] shook her head. "No, I'm okay". Her voice was quiet, and hearing it broke Dean's heart.
"You do have a fever of 103° [Y/N], you should not be under any covers. If you won't let me heal you, we need to cool you down" Cas stated.
"Sam, can you run an ice bath? Cas can you get her a glass of water, with ice?" Dean was worried, he was rarely sick and he hadn't had to look after anyone sick since Sam was a lot smaller. Sam and Cas both left the room, and Dean moved from his kneeling position to the sit on the end of the bed. He pulled the covers the rest of the way off [Y/N], revealing that she had put on the warmest, fluffiest pyjamas she owned. Dean couldn't help but smile at the tough, highly trained hunter wearing soft, lilac pyjamas. [Y/N] began shivering, trying to pull the covers back but Dean wouldn't let her. He reached over and started rubbing her shoulder.
"I'm c-cold D-dean" she sniffled.
"I know you feel cold Sweetheart, but you're actually too hot, you have a fever. Let us get you cooled down and then you can get back into bed and rest, okay?"
"N-no, I want my b-blanket b-back"
"[Y/N] you have a high fever, come on, can you try sit up for me? I got to get you to the bath".
[Y/N] gave Dean a slight glare, the best she could muster up to show she wasn't pleased with being taken from the warmth, but Dean just ignored her and helped her sit up. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he slipped his arms under her knees and shoulders, scooping her up and making his way to the bathroom.
"Hey, bath is ready. How you feeling?" Sam asked, walking over to her and Dean and feeling her forehead with the back of his hand. [Y/N] just groaned in response. "Let's get you out of these pyjamas and into the bath. You wearing anything under them [Y/N]?" [Y/N] nodded, she was wearing a light pair of shorts and a t-shirt underneath. She had been feeling cold the previous night and had decided the fluffy pyjamas weren't going to be enough. Dean placed her down gently on her feet on the tiled floor. Between Sam and Dean, they kept her standing up while removing the fluffy pyjamas, along with the fluffy socks. Once her bare feet touched the cold tile floor, her shivering intensified. Together they helped her into the ice bath, her shivering knocking some of the ice out onto the floor.
"G-get me out-t of this-s n-now"
"Shh [Y/N], I know this sucks but can you please try stick it out for five minutes?" Sam cooed, stroking her hair. Cas walked in with the water and handed it to Dean. "Her sheets are damp with sweat, I'll change them". Dean nodded and held the glass of water up to [Y/N]'s lips.
"Drink". Too weak to argue, [Y/N] took a sip. Although the cold water was freezing as it ran down her throat, she hadn't realised how dehydrated she was, and it did feel good. "I'll get you some clean clothes, try take a few more sips of this before I get back". Dean passed the glass to Sam and headed out of the bathroom. After a few more sips of the water, Sam was satisfied that she had cooled down enough to come out. He grabbed a large towel and carefully helped her step out of the tub. He wrapped her in the towel and began rubbing her arms to help her warm up a little bit.
Dean came back in at that point with a bundle of clothes. He left them on the counter and patted them. "They're not fluffy, can't have you getting too hot again, but I warmed these up in the dryer quickly for you so you won't be freezing. You okay to get changed on your own or do you need help?" Dean asked.
"I can do it, thank you, both of you." She smiled up at Sam who was still rubbing her arms over the towel, before smiling at Dean too. The two boys left her to some privacy to get out of the wet clothes and into the dry ones Dean had brought. She was surprised to see a pair of Dean's pyjama bottoms and one of Sam's old t-shirts, along with some of her own underwear that Dean must have found in her drawer. The boys always complained when she stole their clothes, but they knew how comfortable she found them.
Slowly, she made her way back towards her room. She had to admit that even though the ice bath was horrible, she did feel slightly better now. When she got back to her room, her bed had new sheets and Cas was standing there with another glass of water. "You should drink some more. How are you feeling? Your temperature seems to be lower now" He tilted his head at her while he handed her the glass.
"I feel a bit better Cas, thank you for changing my bed, I appreciate it" she smiled at him. She placed the glass on her bedside table and moved to get into her bed. "What happened with the hunt? Are Sam and Dean gone?"
"I passed it off the Jody, we're staying put until you're better" Dean pushed off the doorframe where [Y/N] hadn't noticed him standing. He knelt down beside her and tucked her hair behind her ear. "I can stay with you for a bit until you fall asleep, how does that sound? Or if you'd prefer to be alone you can call for me or Sam or Cas if you need something?"
"I don't want to get you sick too" [Y/N] sniffed.
"I can stay with you, you can't get me sick". Cas offered.
"Sam is fixing you up something to eat, so how about you stay awake and eat and drink what you can, then Cas can stay with you for a bit and keep an eye on you?". [Y/N] nodded at Dean's suggestion. He nodded back and stood up, leaned down to kiss her forehead and turned to pat Cas on the shoulder before leaving the room.
***
[Y/N] had eaten what she could and soon fell back to sleep in her clean bed. Cas sat at the desk in her room reading through a few books. He stayed long after she'd fallen asleep; he stayed the rest of the day and all throughout the night. Sam and Dean each came in periodically throughout the day to check up on her, bring her more water, and check if she needed help getting to the bathroom.
The next morning Sam came into the room carrying a plate of breakfast and smiled to see [Y/N] sitting up in bed chatting to Cas about a movie she wanted to see. She looked tired, but definitely looked a lot healthier. "Feeling better?" He asked, setting down the plate in front of her.
"Yes, much. Not 100%, but definitely better". She smiled at him.
"Good, 'cause I was thinking today would be a good day for a movie day, what do you think? I can bring my TV in here and we can watch whatever you want".
"Yeah, I'd like that"
"Cool, Dean is already out getting some snacks. He'll be back soon and then the four of us can start our marathon."
"How did Jody get on with the hunt?" Asked [Y/N]. She felt guilty about having to cancel and send someone else out into danger.
"Wasn't even a rugaru in the end, just your regular psychopath. She's already home" Sam smiled at her. He leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Everything's fine".
The end

Flip the Board - pt 3
Part One - Part Two
This is going to have to migrate to Ao3. I'm incapable of keeping things short. I'll try to catch everyone in tags when I post part four, which will flip this to posting by chapter, rather than by scene.
----
Eddie didn’t skip as he rushed out the side door of the school, headed for the parking lot, but it was close to it. Dustin was standing with his back to the school, next to the van, imitating Harrington’s frustrated mom pose, with a lunchbox hanging from his left hand, and his backpack over his shoulders. Max was leaning against the van, while Lucas argued, and Mike glowered.
Good progress, but they needed to get moving and were two party members shy of a successful departure.
Eddie hurried over, clapping to bleed off the excess energy, then flung open the door. Ignoring the random stuttered confusion, he snagged his supply and shoved it under the driver’s seat, then reached for bags and whatever else they had on them.
“What the hell?” Max asked as he yanked the skateboard out of her hands.
“Chill, Red, I’m not stealing your board, you’re coming too.”
“No, really, what the hell?” Lucas added.
“Shh, Sinclair. Hold your questions til the end of class. Dustin, you’re three for five. Did they not want to skip out? I don’t care. They have to. Do I need to go back for them? Come on. Chop chop. Where’s Robin and Wheeler?”
“I’m right here?”
“Wheeler the Elder,” Eddie amended with a flap of his hand, “You, Sir Michaelmas, are already accounted for.”
“Okay, Dustin, what shit is this?!” Mike snapped. He turned to face off with Dustin, and Lucas turned with him. “You said this was Code Red.”
Dustin was his favorite.
Kid didn’t blink, didn’t hesitate, didn’t even glance at Eddie for confirmation. Which was one hell of a thing since it was Dustin, who can, did, and would question everything he encountered -- all at the top of his lungs. It wasn’t like Eddie took the time to explain a damn thing after telling him to get the others. Yeah, Dustin tried to ask something after Eddie told him to get the others, but lunch was ending and step one had to start immediately, so Eddie sprinted out of the theater and trusted that Dustin would listen.
“It IS a Code Red.”
“How the hell would he even know to say that? He probably just overheard you talking about something and thought it would be a good joke.”
“It isn’t a joke,” Dustin insisted. “This is real. He knows something, and it’s serious.”
“Nancy graduated last year, but we’re supposed to think this is real?” Lucas said.
Oh shit.
“Just because he doesn’t know everything doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Steve gets things wrong all the time and we still listen to him!”
Maybe this meant that the vision thing wasn’t real. Eddie scrambled backwards in his head, trying to figure out if he knew that or not. He saw her around all the time. Around the school all the time. She was in Hawkins during spring break.
Whoops?
Apocalypse canceled?
Oh wait.
No. Dammit.
He remembered this. He already knew this. Wheeler mentioned it after a couple campaign sessions. Damn. So much for hope. For a second he thought he hadn’t received some insane prophetic revelation.
“She’s working for the paper right?” Eddie interrupted before Mike could yell. “I knew that, sort of. A bit. I knew she was in Hawkins. That counts. It isn’t relevant to this. Got confused. Don’t complain, Wheeler junior, would you rather I know everything your sister does? I know you hate it when Steve talks to her, would you rather it was me?”
Mike’s eyeroll was the most ridiculous, but Lucas and Max joined in.
Dustin was officially Eddie’s only child now; steadfast little shithead.
Eddie clapped again.
“Right! Dustin! Where are the other two?”
“Okay. I told the others.” Dustin scowled a promise that all this good behavior was going to be repaid with the mother of all favors, but he answered, “Robin wasn’t sure when Steve finished his shift. She only knew it was before class ended today. She went to call him and see if Nancy was in the newspaper office. She’s either gonna show up with Nancy in a minute, or she’s going to be out here to let us know where Steve and Nancy are.
“And,” he continued, “The rest of Hellfire is pissed at you. Gareth said he was going to plan a coup for Hellfire and for Corroded Coffin. I am being very patient right now. It is taking everything I have to sound This Calm, but, Eddie, Dude, you need to start answering questions before I think you’re a Russian spy.”
Eddie blinked.
“Uh.” Blinked again. “What do Russian spies have to do with demo-monsters and the Upside Down?” The kids all jumped when he said that name. He waved his hand, clearing it like a bad smell. “Dammit. Okay. Never mind, gotta learn about the communist infiltration later. Mayfield?”
“What now, Munson?”
“Don’t with that tone, Red. You have your walkman with you? Put it on. Kate Bush. Running Up that Hill. It’s your favorite song. Keep rewinding and listening until we can make you a loop tape.”
“What the hell?”
“Just put the headphones on.”
“Why should I listen to some dipshit who didn’t even know about the Russians?”
“Because you’re in trouble. The life-in-danger kind of trouble. Not the ‘you’re grounded’ kind.”
She snorted. For a second, Eddie saw how the others hadn’t noticed. She was good at fronting, if he hadn’t seen her before, he would believe it.
“Have you been having headaches? Have you been having awful nightmares and thinking you’re hearing things and been thinking about how maybe it would be easier if--” He stopped before he outed any secrets. She heard what he didn’t say, and the suddenly serious look on her face was confirmation. “Just do it. It’ll keep you safe.”
Lucas had her walkman out already, skipping past the need to understand and lunging for her bag the second Eddie persuaded him. Good. That was good. Lucas would be good at this, and if he stuck with her, that was better odds on saving a second one. Their plan, using her, using a kid as bait for the interdimensional hell wizard was bullshit, and he wasn’t doing that again. No fucking way.
He knew the bats dropped, but he also knew the ground shook and there was a noise like the world tore apart right at the end.
That was the last shot of the movie that arrived in his brain half an hour ago. A sound like the world screaming, louder than Dustin’s yelling, and then; a cafeteria.
Maybe Max and the others pulled it off. Maybe they didn’t. He wasn’t gambling on this stuff.
“Eddie.”
“Dustin.”
“Are you going to explain stuff? Cause I’m trusting you right now, but even if I was okay not knowing what the hell, and I’m not, and you know that, even if I was going to be okay with it, no one else is going to be.”
“Yeah. You don’t know about this stuff,” Mike added.
“I didn’t,” Eddie tossed back, stressing the past tense.
“And you learned about all of this while standing on a table in the middle of the cafeteria?”
For once, Nancy Wheeler’s ability to instantly override any conversation she entered was a blessing. Eddie didn’t know how to answer Mike’s question except with a plain ‘yes’ which would do exactly nothing to clarify any of this.
“Munson, if this is some kind of a joke, I will personally ensure that you do not graduate,” she announced as she joined them, deadly serious. “You have no idea how serious this is, and you can’t decide to use it as a prank the day before Spring Break because you think it’ll be funny.”
Eddie turned and smiled, “Ms Nancy Wheeler, you’re looking as delightfully felonious as ever.”
“Munson.”
“Not a joke,” he cut her off. “Robin, where’s Steve right now?”
“Well he was at Family Video, but I called and told him Dustin called Code Red, and I think he tried to spontaneously teleport to the school to help before I finished the sentence. Luckily he smacked into the edge of the counter, so he stopped to listen for a sec, so I told him to go home and we’d meet him there. But that was a couple minutes ago, so he’s probably breaking driving laws and freaking out right now. By the time we get there, he’s going to be at least half as freaked out as I am right now.”
“What is going on?” Nancy hissed.
“Normal Hawkins shit, apparently,” Eddie said, “It’s the end of the world and I know what’s coming.”
“Bullshit. This isn’t a joke. I don’t know how you found out about any of this, but this isn’t one of your games!”
The fizz of victorious energy he floated on tempered by a few points. Eddie heard the sharp edge of Nancy’s voice, and held it up against the fear as she described Vecna’s plan. There were similarities. She didn’t believe him yet, but she believed it was possible.
The others continued bickering while he and Nancy squared off.
“He isn’t joking,” Dustin repeated stubbornly.
“Oh, so our DM suddenly knows about the Upside Down and we’re just supposed to trust he isn’t making it a story?” Mike yelled.
“It’s Eddie! Of course we trust him!”
“Well,” Robin dragged out the word, “some proof would be nice.”
“You want proof that I’m not joking, Nancy?” Eddie hummed a little, and kept his focus on her. Goddamn, at least this bullshit was giving him some top shelf opportunities for dramatics. He waited until the quiet got a tiny bit tense, then quietly, simply, said, “In 1983, your shoe boxes were full of shoes. Now they’re full of guns. Pick them up on the way to Harrington’s, would you? All of them.”
“What.” Her face froze, blank.
He had more things he could say, but if he could convince Nancy, he figured the kids would shut up until they got everyone in one place. She was scary enough to buy him a little more time.
“Am I wrong?”
“How do you know that?”
“Told you. End of the world and I know what’s coming.”
She nodded once, cautious and serious.
Eddie clapped his hands loudly to break the mood, and turned back to the gremlins. “Max, Lucas, Robin, you’re with me. Dustin, Mike, go with Nancy. ”
“No, get back here, Munson, how do you know that? How do you know any of this?”
“Yeah, sorry, I would, but we’re on the clock. I’m not gonna waste time doing this song and dance twice aaaaaaaand, tragically, for me, but excellent news for Henderson; I need Harrington.”

day 26, Apocalypse! During Armageddon (or not).
Demons milling around, restless. Armageddon.
“Encourage the troops, Dagon,” says Beelzebub. They’re all waiting. Why are they still waiting? Why is it taking so bloody long? Beelzebub’s nails have jagged edges painted black where they’re gripping the front of their jacket like it’s a shield.
Dagon looks around. “Right. Listen up!” She’s got to say something to them all. She’s ready to be fighting, ready to be done. “Any moment now, we’ll be leaving Hell, and we’ll be going up against an army of angels!” They really ought to know that bit. She hopes they do. Some of these demons haven’t left Hell since they first arrived.
When they first arrived. That’s the anger they need to tap into to fight. “Now all of you were angels once, and we fought in the glorious revolution! And we lost. But that was then. We have had thousands of years to get tougher!”
“Tougher!” calls out the crowd.
“Smarter!”
“Smarter!” they repeat.
“And more dangerous!”
It’s working. The troops are getting riled up. “I want you to repeat after me,” says Dagon. “Tougher!”
“Tougher!”
“Smarter!”
“Smarter!”
Dagon lifts a fist into the air. “And-”
“Something’s happening,” snaps Beelzebub. “Something’s wrong.”
Beelzebub goes to deal with the problem, and Dagon is left alone with the troops. “Any moment now,” she says to console them. “Lord Beelzebub will return for the battle.”
“Kill all the angels!” cries a demon in the crowd. There are enthusiastic whoops of agreement. Dagon shifts. Not all the angels. Not Michael. These soldiers, worse than the scum of the Earth, they couldn’t kill Michael if they tried.
When Beelzebub reappears, it’s not at Dagon’s side to lead the troops. They shove their way through the assembled demons. “He’s going up to talk to him,” they say, “the Antichrist - is - refusing.”
Refusing. How can he refuse? He’s the Antichrist. Starting Armageddon is why he exists at all. They’ve all been waiting for this for years. Dagon has been waiting for this for years. Preparing.
“The demon Crowley is there,” Beelzebub adds. “He’s betrayed us.”
“His angel too?”
Beelzebub twitches. “He’s Gabriel’s problem. Crowley is ours.”
“Damn it.” Dagon waves a hand to attract attention. “Right! You lot!”
The demons’ muttering quiets down. They’re all looking at Dagon and Beelzebub. Satan fucking help them. Except he can’t.
“Our Lord Satan is on Earth,” Dagon announces, because that doesn’t sound too bad to start with - they’re going to be crucified.
Beelzebub stiffens, jerks. Their shoulder bumps Dagon’s, but they catch themself. They can’t. Not in front of the troops. Not in front of everyone.
“He says no,” they hiss, and there is so much pain colouring their voice. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.
“No Armageddon?”
“No,” agrees Beelzebub.
Fuck. Right. “There’s been a change of plans!” yells Dagon. “Armageddon will not be happening today! The traitor responsible has been identified and will be punished!”
While the crowd is still reeling in shock, they slice their way through with a blade, carving a pathway with discorporated demons. Ten thousand demons. Ten thousand demons about to realize Armageddon is cancelled. Armageddon has been cancelled.
Pure terror runs through Dagon’s veins.
Disarming the Heavenly Host is surprisingly easy. Gabriel returns from Earth and explains what’s going on, and Michael gives the order. Every platoon lays down their weapons and stands, restless and confused.
“Aren’t we going to war?” they say.
“Aren’t we going to fight evil?” they say.
Questions are bad, they can’t have questions in Heaven. Especially not now, when the fabric of the universe is vulnerable. How can this be right? Is this how the demons felt, before they Fell?
“Anyone who would like to complain, you will form an orderly queue.”
There will be no war. No apocalypse. Heaven is disarming, and presumably Hell is too. Angels are generally obedient, demons… are demons obedient?
Will demons listen when Beelzebub (and Dagon, will it be Dagon’s job to insist?) tell them there will be no war?
Michael really doesn’t know.

Tim Drakes sleep habits save the earth
Part 5 Lady Gotham and Princess Dora
While Fright Knight was bringing Chaos to Oa the Bat clan was in its apocalypse is coming mode. Bruce was in the cave poring over everything Tim had sent him. The fact that he was in the cave wasn’t the strange thing it was the time. Bruce had several important meetings today but the were all canceled he had every lawyer he had and anyone who they knew looking on how to change the anti-ecto acts.
Several of his lawyers were leaving the country as well as there families. They noticed that the wording of the law half of Gotham and other cities with heroes the law could be applied to them. Bruce was seriously thinking of having his entire clan evacuated from America until they were overturned.
For once Lucius Fox was not on his case about canceling the meetings for bat reasons. He was having Luke look into anything that his military contacts could find to help them. Clark had stopped by to get as much information that he could get from them as Lois and Clark were going to alert the public about the acts in a way that won’t cause panic.
”Master Bruce the children will be here in about 15 minutes.”
”How did we miss this? We have entire teams teams looking for laws like this all over the world.”
”we area human Master Bruce we are not perfect nor are we omnipresent. We can try our best and if it is not enough try and fix it.”
The cave turned green as a portal opened. There was a blond green skinned woman in a medieval ballgown. She was followed by a woman she was thin with dark hair gray skin and partially see through she looked like a movie star from the 20’ with a floor length cocktail dress of dark red.
The dark hair woman smiled flashing fangs “my Dark Knight.” She said in a raspy purr.
The blonde girl gave a slight bow. “Hello Knight of Gotham I am Princess Dora of the Dragon kingdom. Lady Gotham speaks highly of you. I wish that we were meeting with better circumstances. Clockwork the ghost of time has told us that your Justice League has just found out about the Anti-Ecto act. We need your help and the help of your clan.”
Bruce looked at the woman and red and deep in his bones he knew her. She was Lady Gotham the shadows of the city the he protected and she protected him. The soul certainty that they would not hurt them. “How can we help you your majesty.”
“Our young King was captured by the GIW he sacrificed himself to save high Princess Ellie Phantom. Fright Knight and Pandora are telling the Green Lanterns what is happening so they can be ready to help when they return to earth we do not want to go to war but your government has struck many blows against us we are to the point that we will not be able to ignore them much longer.” Said Gotham her voice turning rasper the more she talked.
”Would you like some tea with some honey Lady Gotham” asked Alfred.
“That would be lovely”
“Let us retire to the parlor while Princesses Dora and Master Bruce work on how we’re going to save King Phantom.” Alfred offers his arm to Lady Gotham.
Bruce noticed that Gothams cheeks turned a darker gray. As Gotham took his hand and they left the cave.
Dora giggled as the door closed. “If we didn’t have a rescue mission to plan I would want to see what they were up to.”
Bruce blinked in surprise. “Why?”
“ I have known Lady Gotham for most of my afterlife. And in the last 20 years she has spoken more about Alfred than anyone else. If he becomes a Ghost she would start to court him as soon as his Core formed. The fact that she use english to speak to both of you is telling enough. Lady Gotham is not well she has not been for a long time she has trouble speaking mortal languages and being visible in the living realm. The fact that she was able to do this much is thanks to you and your clan’s support.”
It was nice to see that Gotham was healing now it was time to save a king and save the world.

I'M BACK! Weekends are nice!
-(“Only Potter is here to babysit all of you. I’m here to babysit him.” Ron reached out to ruffle Harry’s hair. Harry smacked his arm away with a petulant glare. “We didn’t want to take the risk of your combined bad luck not canceling out, so here I am.”
Harry sighed. “To be fair ‘Potter Luck’ isn’t a guaranteed negative. It just means that the most ridiculous thing possible will happen that will either be extremely good to extremely bad.”
“Oh, so like the Midoriya Effect!” )
yeah this one hundred percent is the underlying reason for both series. Absolutely! But I can picture the offended look on Izuku's face and I'm cackling!
-(Honestly, Harry’s as starting to think that somewhere out there was a deity who was staunchly against him having a peaceful fucking snack run. )
Considering I walked into work today and got the rundown to immediately look up and flip the ceiling of, saying 'I don't know who's listening but fuck you', I feel this in my soul.
-The entire scene at the store is amazing! Like I always end up reading it twice when I reread.
(They both had a touch of the madness in them.) We've gone a bit beyond a touch 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That entire paragraph is crazy good. Like the reality of the child soldiers here is that both Class A and the trio faced the same circumstances is shown amazingly well. The line of (who covered their hands in red in the name of a war neither of them had been old enough to see the beginning of.) OOOOFF.
-Is it bad that I almost feel sorry for the troll? Like no living being deserves that 😥
-(Brainwashed. ) I will never be convinced that Shinsou is so underutilized through the whole series. That boy deserved all of the screen time page time art work alllll of it. I feel like he could have ended so many problems. JusticeForShinsou
-(A second later he was gone, apparating in and out of cover faster than the eye could track, shattering masks and leaving a trail of unconscious bodies in his wake. )
This makes me think of the Quicksilver scene from X-Men Apocalypse, where the mansion is exploding and he's literally throwing people out of windows and chucking mattresses and sheets as landing pads. I love it. One of my favorite scenes and make this part of the chapter even better!
-(keeping him from the kids right now is the worst thing you can do)
My guy, do you want an explosion? But protective dad Harry for the fucking win, every time!
-(There went Harry’s plan of pretending everything was fine. )
Good! You wouldn't have gotten away with it for long between Hizashi and Hermione anyway! TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF MY GUY! But really I love his characterization in the scene 10/10
-The fact that Shouta has already started picking up on the cues of when to step in and when to let it ride and get the popcorn is just perfect. Sir, your future husband will appreciate that from you... and your spouse.
-(Baku, an entire teenager: Bitch Harry, an entire adult who should no better but is, in fact, just Like That: Bitch)
jdkgaghfjdklanvjailghre 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-Harry is the worst patient and will remain that way until eternity.
-(Harry’s laugh was bitter. Hard. “Isn’t humanity’s curse wanting what we can’t have?” )
Harry, sweetheart, maybe don't say that in front of your future spouse and husband, who literally watched you die! But the atmosphere of this part is so exhausted. You did so amazing at building the tension and the sorrow Harry carries. And the moment of horror when Harry explains that he can't tell them the truth because they will suffer for it, and by extension so will he. UGH so well written and so heartbreaking at the same time.
-(“I’m not marrying you.”
“I’d rather piss glass than be your husband, thanks.”)
dfjkaelgnuvhnjgrkeslh so I actually like reading ShinBaku but this is fucking perfection!! and the fact that the end note immediately contains this: (Bakugou, the exact minute he cracks the top ten: *grabs Hitoshi* TELL ME YOUR SECRETS YOU EXHAUSTED TWINK) dead, cry laughing oh my god!!!!!!!
One chapter left of this! Then I'm so going through the KOT tag ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
!!! You’re back!!!
My favorite part about the end note with Shinsou and Bakugou is that I fully imagine Baku shaking this poor man like a muppet while demanding answers. Just this poor six foot man who looks a second away from passing out being fully ragdolled on live tv probably.

GTA V SENTENTENCE PROMPTS (18+). — accepting!
“I meant it when I said ‘come as you are’.” Kogami smiles at Thana.
The pair are closer these days; while Kogami is big on sticking it to expectations, he’s surprised that the Jaeger admins were right about them the eventuality of their being compatible and getting along handsomely; he doesn’t feel like it’s 100% his own abilities to drift with most people, either. Thana’s warmed up, he likes to think. They don’t give him as much of a stink eye as they used to when they first met.
Drift space got easier to sit in, and they’re butting heads less on the controls. One might even say they’re becoming the model pilots that Kogami had once been part of in his own day, and while he remains humble to praise himself, he’s happy to let Thana have it, knowing how far they’ve come; how far they’ve both come.
If there’s an end to this apocalypse, he feels more optimistic in seeing the end with Thana. He might even say… “I’m glad I came out of retirement.”
He looks back at the Okami.
“I’m not trying to change you into anything you’re not, in which case. You’re just Thana. Maybe not the nicest person in the world most days, but I don’t want any more than that and a partner.”

I streamed these games, so go buy them.
(If you liked them.)
We may remember Chants of Sennaar, but maybe something a little further back tickled your brain that you forgot about? The Steam Spring Sale is live, and while not every game is a recommendation, this list is a bizarre sampler that dodges my sci-fi shooter phase to take you on a trip through time. (Most of these games were released after 2014.) You know Commander Shepard already.

The future of American McGee's Alice franchise has been a recurring channel topic, and I'll always love my little region-themed planets. Hey David Hayter, how's that TV adaptation going?
On the flip-side of video games and adaptation: another subject of discussion, Eidos-Montréal, saw itself sold to the Embracer Group after the release of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and has more recently seen layoffs alongside news of a now-canceled secret Deus Ex game. Hit new Spider-man game? We have a Mahvel game at home!
Alice: Madness Returns (85% off; $2.99) / Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (75% off; $14.99)

We ask: how does The Beginner's Guide emotionally impact people who experience it today? Come be our guinea pig and experience the game unspoiled if you never caught it yourself. You may recognize "The Stanley Parable", the game previously made by the developer of this 2015 title.

The took a boat ride a new years back... While Sea of Solitude does not have you captaining a pirate's ship, we navigated our fears and past, largely through climbing with our feathery body and trying not to succumb to the large beasts embodying our family and fears.
Call of the Sea had us solving puzzles by lush jungle as we followed the footsteps of our husband to discover that we might have more of a connection to the island than we thought...
