The more I look into Canon Hizashi and learn more about him, the more I love him. I know others aren’t crazy about him and prefer the Fanon Hizashi, but canon Mic really resonates with me more. He tries so hard to be cool, but he’s such an anxious bean he comes off as a lovable dork. He loves to entertain but gets panicked when surprising things happen. (No one will believe me, but Mic is actually the straight man to most characters. I’m not even kidding! It’s rare, but if you put him with some crazier who has more energy and Mic is completely out of his depth, it’s so cute. It’s really a shame they’re blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments.) And he just loves the people around him so much! He really tries to act as a fun big brother to everyone he likes. And he’s just the most supportive character. I mean it, you can go through the entire manga, and you won’t find a better pal than Hizashi! And there’s so much more. I can’t wait to share it all with ya’ll because the man is amazing!

ONE WRITER'S DAILY ROUTINE
"Here's how it goes: I'm up at the stroke of 10 or 10:30. I have breakfast and read the papers, and then it's lunchtime. Then maybe a little nap after lunch and out to the gym, and before I know it, it's time to have a drink."

None of those things are spirituality, though.
Yeah some people think spirits are beings that exist within and around you on another plane/realm and are the essence of consciousness and being, and they may also act as tethers to a divine presence. Really what I feel spirit is is yeah your consciousness and who you are, but as it exists in your brain and in connection with your body. I think spiritual experiences occur when you feel most connected with yourself, the moment, or the world around you, or when you’re experiencing a wild neurological event like near-death experiences or a drug high. Spirituality can also take into account your general emotional, intellectual, and physical maintenance and well-being. And of course there’s also “something is giving me a sign”, which I personally think is largely coincidence and people seeing what they want to see. Everything from a remarkable calm and a sense of balance and serenity, to profound moments of clarity and visions can all be filed under spiritual experiences. To some people they feel that in these moments they are coming into contact with divinity or reaching beyond the physical world.
My thought is that while your experiences and what you feel is real —especially to you personally— it’s likely more biochemical and philosophical with a sprinkling of chance rather than the supernatural, and that there isn’t something truly beyond. People use “spirit” and “spirituality” to describe abstract, profound or euphoric experiences and ascribe them to something that isn’t really empirically proven to exist (hence the faith bit —we each interpret our feelings and what happens to us in different ways of course).
What some people call spirit is what I personally attribute to the work of the brain and body. And perhaps some things science has not yet come to understand, but which have not yet been proven to be Something Else either. I call it spirituality because while I genuinely don’t think I have this other Essence or part of myself floating around waiting to escape my body, I still have moments of genuine peace, clarity and strong emotion for seemingly no reason, and a strong sense of connection in realizing I belong to something larger than me. Just not to a god or other power.

I am just going to say this.
Wasn't he saying since 2017 that he had many songs he's written and he'll release mixtapes. And yet no writing credits in debut album?
In a live recently he said he lost the songs he'd written. Did the fandom buy that?
Wow, years of lying? For what?
These are serious allegations, anon!
Tumblr media
No writing credits at all? Maybe he has for the other songs and people don't know it? Or it's all public info? If so, then I don't know what to say.....I can't act that surprised, can I?

I saw a post about people using ai to chat with characters and I was like yeah I'll bite. What the fuck is this? And then the Phoenix Wright ai bot offered me 17 dollars an hour to be his legal assistant. Fucking incredible.

To Each His Own

This Fukushi Sota movie is labeled a bromance but let me tell you, the B in this bromance is very, very, VERY silent. Probably the most silent B in the existence of bromance.
It's a truly beautiful but also a very difficult movie to watch. It deals with themes like power harassment, suicide and depression. Takashi's (Kudo Asuka) road to peace and healing is long and ugly, luckily he has Yamamoto (Fukushi Sota) by his side every time he needs a shoulder to lean on. And it's just so wonderful!
Most of the movie is told from Takashi's POV, it's not until the end that Takashi delves into Yamamoto's life and the terrible tragedy that Yamamoto had to live with is revealed. The scene where Takashi goes digging into Yamamoto's life and finds out the truth is so, so beautiful because we finally get to see Yamamoto's POV, at least a little.
And the ending is just... fairy tale like. It's the happiest of endings, it truly is.
Rating: 9/10
