I took my meds, had a couple painkillers, finished a bottle of water, and ate some food. I am once again reminded that I have needs and that there's an actual reason why I should be taking care of them instead of ignoring them. And yes, I am referring to an assignment that I yet again spent about three hours attempting to do and failing miserably only to finish it 15 minutes after taking care of myself instead.

I'm getting real tired of not being able to figure out why I'm struggling with something until I've wasted way too much time on something. Sure my meds are an entirely different problem, I'm aware that they're a problem and I'm working on it. But I can't tell that I'm hungry, I got startled by my stomach growling before I even realized I could possibly be hungry, I didn't feel thirsty at all and only drank water because I opened it to take my meds, and I only took painkillers because I got a migraine from the meltdown after struggling over my assignment.

My entire fucking body was in a lot of pain and I didn't realize until the meds kicked in, I was probably at least partially having a meltdown because I was hungry and thirsty on top of the assignment not working out for me, and I was definitely overstimulated and overheated at the same time. I didn't noticed a single part of that until I got startled by my stomach making noise and decided to call it quits for a bit instead of continuing to cry over my inability to read and the headache hit me.

So it's still in the works and for the moment I'm keeping it underwraps until I 1. Have art for this character 2. Solidify how this becomes canon for the other party as their are a million reasons revealing them will take time!

(Most of all because it's a A is currently with B who is bad for them but B effects X, Y, and Z's plots. But eventually A will (hopefully because muses are subject to change and funny like that) find true love in C but because B and Z don't belong to me or A's owner and so we need to figure this out as a group how to navigate it and it's so hard to do over discord especially when even more people outside of the three of us are involved in shaping A's plot and ASDFGHJKL!!!!)

But as for their plot, it starts out as a casual fling, a way to relieve tension and just forget the world for them both. Soon though C just starts enjoying A's company and falls hard and fast for them despite them having a not-exactly-a-relationship with B. So C is fine with this being what it is, not a quad, but not just a fling, and for a while hiding how they feel from A knowing it isn't meant to be.

So long as C can support A that's all that matters to them and even if it hurts, it's a soft sort of pain they feel always in their chest but don't want to let go of because A makes them feel happy. The banter, the games, the way A looks when they're huffy and upset. There's still a warmth in that pain, not an all consuming coldness. They can live with that so long as A never has to feel like they're alone like they are with B.

Meanwhile A knows they love C after some time but feels to broken to confront those feelings or believe the "I love you"s that C gives them later on even if A never responds. It's terrifying and desperate but so wrapped up in the past and what it lead to but eventually it comes out in a soft but scared voice and C is waiting with a soft smile.

Location: The Flaming Dragon. Time: Early to Mid Evening. 

Frank wasn’t the person who could hold his liquor. Sure, he had been able to tolerate a bit more when he was younger- when the hangover hadn’t lasted well into the evening and he managed to get out a lot more than he did these days. Or perhaps it was simply the fact that looking at a glass of wine resulted in Moody’s voice going off in his mind about Constant Vigilance and Lowering your Inhibition. He really didn’t mind being the one to get everyone home at the end of the night, or to make sure they didn’t do anything too stupid that would get them all in trouble. It had been his job for a long time now and it hadn’t changed all that much with age.

That did mean however, that nights like tonight when he did let loose, it took very little to get him a good buzz. He hadn’t even been here all that long, came late after getting stuck at work hours after he should have left. Frank had tried to catch up to the rest before heading over; the two drinks he had while changing from his work robes to something more appropriate and then the shot he had taken right as he had gotten in. And here he was giggling over nothing like some bloody 15 year old after their first real drink at a house party. Merlin Longbottom, pull yourself together.  

He was going to regret it in the morning, there was little doubt about that. But that was a tomorrow Frank’s problem. Tonight they were letting go and worrying about being with the people around him. If someone had to push back his hair for once… so be it.

He reached over the bar when no one had been around, grabbing some tequila bottle he remembered little about other than drinking it in the Gryffindor Common Room a lifetime ago. He had gotten absolutely smashed then too. He poured the contents into two shot glasses, passing one over to a presence next to him and grinned.

“If Doc asks, it wasn’t me who spilt this all over the bar.”

I am genuinely so worried for all the young horny dykes going into adulthood thinking there's something "problematic" / "wrong" with them for being horny because fucking tiktok lesbians think any horny dyke content is "male gaze fetishitic"
