The fairytale workroom ✨🧚‍♀️🌿 A hollow tree with a spread of tiny objects made to fit in a dome I found at Target for $10.

Golden Key tiny book charm, Feb 2024.

All my other tiny book charms except my first one were intended as gifts, and I decided it was about time to make one with words for myself. It includes some of my favorite odds and ends, including some poems, short stories, excerpts from novels. I nicknamed the project The Golden Key after the first story I picked, a fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm collection.

Shop Update - January 5th at 4pm EST

This next shop update features the tiniest little paintings that you ever did see! There are five necklaces made to look like miniature framed paintings, and ten pairs of matching earrings (there are two of each earring design, but only one of each necklace). They are all made from polymer clay and individually hand painted. And if you're interested in any of these tiny works, they'll be available in my shop tomorrow, January 5th at 4pm EST!

WIP update. The plant hall for my miniature natural history museum is getting closer to done. It now has walls, floor, lights, a diorama window and sign, a plant tree of life with herbarium specimens, and a numbered wood floor with a pamphlet that tells you about the various woods of the world.

Debating the pamphlet holder color today, I think the clear.

Shakespeare's Sonnets bookbind, Nov 2023; typesetting by Jordan from the 2023 Tiny Books Bang event.

Materials: laser printed text on archival printer paper, lokta endpapers, scrapbooking paper covers, blue and purple rayon bookcloth, archival PVA, scrap paper and cardboard, embroidery floss coated in beeswax.
