on a semi related note there r like 2 specific times i remember expecting one of my safe foods and getting something entirely different and being SO insanely upset abt it even though the thing i got still tasted good
#the first my uncle asked me what i wanted 4 dinner while he was staying with us#and i said cheesy chicken and rice my fav food and he Made cheesy chicken and rice but it was like. a completely different dish than what i#refer to as cheesy chicken and rice and it was good food but i was rly rly rly upset. and i feel bad bc again it was good and my uncles a#great cook but i was expecting my comfort food and got something different#the other big one was i always get the wisconsin six cheese from dominos. and if i dont get the wisconsin six cheese i get the beautiful an#delicious pizza me and my mom named greg . rly funny story actually. but greg is basically. hes got ranch instead of tomato sauce and then#chicken bacon (always at least these 2) and mushrooms if possible for toppings. and hes great#and one time my mom was ordering dominos and asked me what i wanted and i said the wisconsin 6 cheese yk. and it came and it had ranch sauc#and my mom was like oph yeah i thought itd be fun to try the ranch sauce since we like it on greg so i thought id surprise you. and i#literally couldnt eat the pizza and i started crying over it bc i had been rly excited for the 6 cheese#but yes. greg is my goto pizza everywhere except dominos on occasion if they dont let u do rnch as a sauce we do alfredo instead#hes very trustworthy and i love him... we got him umm. the first time we ordered him was when we were doing my sleep study#so we were like waiting outside the hospital and we were like oh we should order something 2 eat since we havent had dinner yet#and we went to order and 4 somereason we couldnt get the 6cheese idk if like one of th cheeses was out of stock or something ???#but we were like ok lets just make a new pizza lol. and we made him and then dominos was like Ok what do you want to name the pizza#and idk why i think it was late but that question was like. So about Limbus Company Gregor Samsa, the first chapter or Canto as the game refers to them is focused on him. We get to see his backstory. He was basically experimented on to give him that bug arm and then became the poster boy for military propaganda. After the war though his bug arm started acting up and he wasn't able to control it. Ironically he got off pretty easily in terms of the experiment since we run into other people who had bug augmentations and they all mutated horribly.
Ohhh anime gregor… i am so fascinated by your existence….

So basically I had this idea to switch the tropes of the characters.they're still the same people at heart tho. Like Abe was an awkward uncool guy he'd be popular and stuff but still very dumb and silly. Cleo would be in popular but she'd still think she was better than everyone by smarts. Think of what the world needs is,people like me song. Joan would be a popular girl she hated before but still cares about morals at heart and stuff. JFK doesn't get girls he can't but he tries really hard to. He's still dumb though think of an incel kind of.
This was fun to make its just a dumb au basically Abe would go for Cleo(after she started stuffing her bra cause she canonly does that) and she'd be all like nooo I can't date you I have to study I'm above everyone else like my clone mother and after a while she realizes guys will do what she wants because she's pretty and stuff. So she starts to use Abe.
Cleo and JFK would be best friends because they're uncool. JFK would probably try to flirt with her and date her and she just stares at him and then pretends he didn't say that. They're friends but Cleo thinks he's a drag even if she'd stop to help him still. Joan and Abe and Gandhi(haven't gotten an idea for him yet maybe just a gloomy guy?idk) are best friends still and Joan still has a crush on Abe technically Abe likes her back but he like Cleo because she's kind of unattainable and he thought Cleo had real potential to be something ''''great''''
I think it'd be a parody if Grease or something.
Want to use this mainly for historical jokes like JFK trying hard to get a woman, Cleopatra slowly becoming manipulative and stuff, Abe has broad shoulders like Abraham Lincoln btw because I hc he's slouching is so bad in the og that it lowers his shoulders.
I got this idea from looking at this one picture of Abraham Lincoln and thinking 'woah he looks like a stereotypical try hard cool guy' so
Bonus Topher. I am not sure how the s2 characters would go in this because like Fridas trope is that she's the chill one. I could easily switch that but itd be impossible for some of her character to still be there cause idk its kinda the only thing to her sometimes? Not frida slander love frida I just don't know how itd work in the au.
Tophers trope I think is the weird kid so that means he'd be popular kid but also like overly normal. Or trying to be. Like maybe in a creepish way. I think he'd still be an asshole but very fake with it. Considering his trope is the unpleasant weird kid. I think he'd go by Christopher except noone pays attention to his last name if he just goes shhhhh don't mention it. His sanity is holding by a thread and he prob looks like he's one moment away from screaming angrily all the time. He'd manipulate to get what he wants and I feel like he and Abe would try to get along at first but he probably grows some weird hate crush on him along the way. Maybe his family is more rich in this I want to make historical references but I think him acting overly 'nice' in a weird way is already irony.
He probably wears rings.
Its either that or a religious fanatic that smiles too much in a creepy way.

shadow kirby:they get two designs like kirby, both inspired off theirs but just like.emo lol.dont ask why their hair started doing that its whatever reason they became purple in canon.they have overalls beneath that coat btw
and miscellaneous designs i havent given a final sheet to yet!! taranza and dark taranza r based off more fantasy victorian (? medieval???) clothing, susie is holographic bc i didnt want to give her gray shading n her limbs r all floaty (i imagine shes always making some weird electric noise due to that), gooey is just like cute tbh? their cape is based off their mock matter form, chuchus hair is based off the shape the octopus species she apparently is has, i dont have any notable commentary for drawcia or claycia (was that her name) other than drawcia is like a paint blob.also claycias supposed to be way chubbier but i underestimated how huge her coat would look.gotta fix that

david is based off of a cat and a character ai conversation i had with green mage roleplaying as him (reason for the blindfold)
teruko is quite obviously a fox, in one of my original universes foxes are seen as bad luck and theyre probably seen as bad luck in a few other cultures so i decided to carry that over into the au. shes also called "The Bearer of Bad News" here. she not only brings bad luck, she predicts and foreshadows the future bad incidents. i think if she was in game shed probably show up a few times like the save point and give you like fuckin. prophecies or something. like she is just the physical sign of something bad is gonna happen soon
charles is a gooey guy kinda like flan and muck, i thought itd be funny if he was a chemist and also made of sludge so he constantly gets his own gunk in his experiments lmao
whit is based off of cupid but a biblically accurate angel, since theres a lot of references in everhood and theres things like vampires and mushrooms and gnomes i thought hed fit in as "biblically accurate cupid"
i plan on drawing a few others like eden and veronika as different creatures, i wanna make someone be like an elf or some weird gnome person or something. i plan on having eden or hu be like a mushroom person i just think eden would be silly as a mushroom.....

like . ive nicknamed cyril cereal and dion dawn dish soap ( silly story , some of my friends saw me agonizing over a little concept design i was making for him and under his name i put “dish soap” in parentheses because yeah and my friend read it as “die on dish soap” and that turned into “dine on dish soap” (( would dion drink dish soap …????? )) so now hes just known as the dawn dish soap guy among my two friends that witnessed that 😭 )

i thi k im just gonna start following anyone who appears on my feed bc idk i want stuff 2 show up yk ????
so in SONIC PRIME, SONIC'S look changes through each universe he goes through (his shoes and gloves bc hes not really known 4 clothes) but sincr KAI'S case isnt really the same he doesnt get a new fit each universe (disappointing i know) but ig he can get like a little momento from each one like i imagine he gets to keep a cool mask from the first one even thouvh i kinda imagine JAY to have a paper bag on his head lmao like those ocs
id like to mention that NYA in the first universe (or SAI) is the master of water and aware of her powers but he uses them discretely enough that KAI picks up on it but doesnt really notice its her (becauses hes not water ninja until s5) , theyre all kinda in a big resistance group with a few other elementals he'll never really get to know so he'd probably assume its someone else's powers even if its coming out of SAI'S hands which will just have 2 be some blatantly obvious dramatic irony and make KAI look like an idiot but thats ok bc he kinda is
im not really sure what to call COLE in this universe bc i was gonna go for scythe yk cuz thats his first weapon but then the scy parts sounds too similar to SAI so then i went towards hammer but the nickbame is ham which i thought was too silly so maybe something like GHOST or WAR(hammer lol) and i thought id just call LLOYD GREEN or ONI idk im not very good at naming
for the masks like i said earlier i think itd be funny if CHUCK went and walked around like a paper bag head oc so im sticking with that but i think SAI would wear something cool like a divers helmet (ocean yk yk) or a fish mask lol like MAGIKARP, i think ZANE would wear a mask similar to MR,E from season 10 i think??? to kinda give KAI some references to the future even though it doesnt matter for this au and some background resistance members would wear the oni masks to have like a sublte hint to HARUMI and the others without having actual meaning i just think itd be cool. i also did ask myself the question 'dont their ninja gi have masks' and the answer is indeed yes they do but they never became the offical ninja group and it had only been ZANE, JAY and COLE for a few months until they decided to go their own ways and i also have a pretty good excuse to give them all different masks. WAR/GHOST (theyre both horrible names i know) is pretty difficult i think, i do want to say that he is indeed a ghost in this au even though there isnt actually a reason for it this time so if the virsus comes he can posess the nearest inanimate object so theres no real need for a mask but if he were to wear one i think he'd probably have those cheap craft store ones because its accessible and it doesnt really matter bc its not necessary for him. i was originally going to have SHURIKEN just have his robot form as the disguise but then he was made to look humanlike and i feel like a game would easily know and recognize a human robot and go for it anyways so i think he'd either use his cloaking feature and change his appearance entirely (but i kinda imagine that to have a cooldown) or the mask as i said earlier
i would try and draw these but im a terrible digital artist cursed with the low quality of an android phone so maybe some time in the future when i learn :))

hi!! Um!! Sorry if this is a bit silly, but I reread a bit of ur companion Dan Hyun au recently, and I just wanted to say that i rlly rlly love it? Its rlly interesting n well written, n it kinda makes me wish she was an actual companion jdbfjdn. From like, a game n plot perspective i also rlly like the incorporation of kai leng since we dont rlly see him b4 ME3 (and also just because i find him n dan hyun to be v interesting and ur blog has turned me into a kai leng liker) and (1/2)
i also rlly like the inclusion of the spectre status being required to recruit her!! I think its really neat because if memory serves correct, your spectre status being revoked doesnt really come up a lot in game? So its like, a v interesting choice, n one that feels like itd make the consequences of letting the council die feel more real and less like. A Thing that happened. Omg first of all this is so sweet ;_; thank you! I honestly peeked back at it recently and had a bit of a tender smile at it all. Was thinking of rewriting it since I know Dan Hyun and even Kai a lot better as characters now hehe, (and when I originally wrote that I really just wanted to fill it out asap so people could have an example to reference) but it's really touching to know that the og is intriguing to people still >//<
also, YES? I'm ALL about the political consequences of this game because bioware is so fast to go like : uhhh "TALKING? JUST USE A GUN LMAO" and then it's like "Wow look at all the problems that came up thanks king." I'm so down to explore that more in the future because I really do think the Spectre chair is inherently political, there's no way around it and to ignore that Shepard is a figurehead is to neglect an entire world of intrigue and lore!
also lol hehe kai leng agenda. </3 I'd like to think I'm a bit realer about him these days but I did want to go hard on the potential positive end of things in the beginning because i feel like the fandom can be so like ew yuckie boo and it's like chill bro lemme just lift the bioware black and white veil off your eyes.. lets go on a journey...
