a lot of people joke about toby writing the "asgore and rudy went to the same college" bit from the alarm clock dialogue as breaking canon for a crumb of homoeroticism but. considering how noelle and dess do exist in undertale, and how rudy fell down shortly after...

hm. thinks about it all. it would explain noelle's immense strength too...

#we still don't know if monsters in deltarune follow the same rules as in undertale but. it's interesting to think about #deltarune #undertale #utdr #logs #the question is why are toriel and asgore seemingly perfectly healthy while rudy wasn't and i think along with aging boss monsters #with offspring become significantly more vulnerable. modern toriel and asgore certainly aren't immortal but i think #the more children a boss monster has the more vulnerable they become. a boss monsters soul flows through their child #the more children they have the more strenuous it could be #no one ever said boss monsters all looked the same either... we only ever had toriel asgore and asriel for reference...#though this ALSO raises the question of why c. holiday is seemingly healthy as well. and for that i do not know #metatext #i have to solve the mystery of why undertale rudy is so old no matter what
