Man, I wish there was some, uhhhh, respectful? way of addressing others when talking in tags in a reblog of their post (so, when it's not really directly talking to them, but still being aware that they will probably see it). Or just addressing them in general.

Because just the username may feels weird - especially if you don't know the person already. "tumblr user %username%" is even weirder and has a somewhat ironic (?) flavor - kinda like calling someone else by their full name when usually just the first name is used. And "OP" feels too faceless. (Sure, others may have other feelings about those options - I'm just explaining why I personally do not like using them. And I do not mind much when others use those options for me - for me it's mostly just the matter of wanting to express my own respect for others.)

Idk, I guess I basically just want an english equivalent of "%username%さん", haha.
