thoroughbreds is so good because it takes the idea of “normal person in a relationship/friendship with emotionless sociopath” and does the opposite of what you would expect with the emotionless one being the self sacrificing one in the end and the “normal” one being the murderer. emotionlessness as a reason to help someone else get what they want because what do you really want anyway? genius. also evil horse girls is just fun conceptually
