Loki quoted E. S. Eliot's poem from Four Quartets
We die with the dying: See, they depart, and we go with them. We are born with the dead: See, they return, and bring us with them. The moment of the rose and the moment of the yew-tree Are of equal duration.
Somehow when HWR discards it he only shows how much ignorant, frightened and short-sighted he is despite of all his evident wisdom and unquestionable trauma.
But Loki's love for life and for his people knows no fear.

- T.S. Eliot

[text ID: Prelude I by T. S. Eliot.
I
The winter evening settles down
With the smell of steaks in passageways.
Six o'clock.
The burnt-out ends of smoky days.
And now a gusty shower wraps
The grimy scraps
Of withered leaves about your feet
And newspapers from vacant lots;
The showers beat
On broken blinds and chimney-pots,
And at the corner of the street
A lonely cab-horse steams and stamps.
And then the lighting of the lamps. /end ID]
