Kiruko/Haruki Heavenly Delusion's complex trans character
Thread explaining Kiruko/Haruki's character as of Chapter 54 of Heavenly Delusion.
Tumblr media
I’ve seen many be confused over the intended way to view Kiruko’s character because of the many complexities of her arc. One of the biggest important aspects of her character and the narrative as a whole is identity and how our desires shape us.
To start with simplifying her ‘love’ for her sister as ‘siscon love’ is heavily missing the point and intention of her character. Yes, Haruki does have an unhealthy complex for Kiriko but it’s less of sexual/romantic love and more a deep pining and desire to be her body and all.
Tumblr media
This is shown further when she outright does wake up in Kiriko's body post surgery. Her first thought after the sadness of losing her sister was a dark pleasure over having the body of her sister. She feels heavy guilt over liking the situation which is a big part of her complex.
Tumblr media
Another aspect of Kiruko's character people overlook is the extreme admiration/idolization and possible love she has over Robin. This extends to Kiruko when she was still Haruki as shown by her overreliance in needing Robin to save her, needing to be useful to Robin and so on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her perfect image of Robin is shattered however when they reunite after 5 years and he takes advantage of her and sexually assaults her. With the way her identity is heavily formed around others Haruki (Robin), Kiriko (Kiruko) this completely shatters her self image.
The way she dissociated her mind (Haruki) from her body (Kiruko) during the assault plus the feeling of being trapped in the mirror implies a deeper desire of Haruki's from before the accident. Which is that she wanted to swap places with Kiriko while she and Robin were together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her love/admiration for Robin is as vital to her identity as her attachment with Kiriko as it shapes her identity as much as Kiriko does. This is shown by how she carries on wearing the jacket Robin handed to her all this time since she lost Kiriko and started her life as Kiruko.
It isn't until her talk with Maru after the assault she can finally let go of her past identity of Haruki and move on from her lingering attachments. From here on she's accepted herself as a woman as Kiruko and is trying to find worth and a goal in the aimless world with Maru.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her feelings for Maru and her gender identity also go hand in hand. She first confesses to Maru she used to be a guy 'Haruki' when he first confesses to her on the boat because she feels guilty about idea of him liking her as she used to be a guy but she trusts him enough by then.
The scene where she asks Maru if he's fine with him touching her breasts after the promise he could do so is important in mentioning since she's fine with him doing that as long as he's fine with the fact she used to be a boy and her past identity of Haruki.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her feelings for Maru primarily start to come to surface more outright when she started moving on from Robin. She's also a lot softer and more comfortable in her skin in more recent chapters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In summary Haruki likely had gender identity issues and envy for his sister which was rationalized in his head as a sort of twisted love. And her identity is shackled around others too strongly due to her low self worth and self deprecation.
I think it's vital to understanding her character and while she's heavily flawed it's very realistic. I think this quote from Masakazu Ishiguro explains the idea behind her character well, the extreme end of a love a brother has for his sister to the point he wants to become her.
Tumblr media
There's also this interview where instead of using the manga genderbending genre tags TS or TSF, the full katakana "トランスセクシュアル" , the official term for Transsexual/Transgender people, is used instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'll update this thread whenever new chapters drop or i notice more. Kiruko is a deeply personal character for me so wanted more to be able to understand her mindset and struggles.

For my rewrite, I wanted to tie each sinner who's staying at the motel to a specific deadly sin to make it easier to understand what got them in hell and just for the fun of it.
It doesn't apply to the rest of hell to have a specific sin, but I thought it was interesting that the inhabitants of the motel will represent a sin.
Some of these characters are still rough ideas and will be subjected to some changes once i finalize the actual lores for these characters:
First up, Angel Dust is easy to confuse as Lust because most people might assume that since he's a sex worker, its probably what got him in hell right? Though, his sin had nothing to do with being lustful since he didnt become a sex worker until then (plus being a sex worker doesnt warrant someone a tacket straight to hell). Instead what really did him in was Gluttony since it was his appetite for vices that got him into trouble and also inadvertently lead to his death and it was that appettite that lead him to take any and all clients to feed his appetite for angeldust.
Nifty's sin is Lust, though not in the traditional sexual sense that we know. For her sin's sake, Lust is all about an uncontrollable desire that leads one to do horrible acts in order to attain what they've been obsessing over. In the rewrite, I was going to let her be a lot younger (most likely an adolescent-young teen) with a very skewed sense of what romance/love is like and have her lean in more towards a yandere-type character or a crappy creepypasta kid character (think Nina the killer levels of crappypasta). I'm torn between the two ideas at the moment.
[Also fun fact, hearing that nifty was a japanese woman from the 1950's kind of took me off because googling it, she wouldve been a woman who grew up in the middle of world war 2 and lived through a bit of the Post war boom if we assumed she's also american as well. Having someone with a background like that who acts like she's mentally a child makes it feel like Viv did no research at all.]
Husk's sin remains as Greed, as gambling just seems so hard to quit for him, even when his life is on the line, especially when he's cheating death so many times. Maybe it was after he had his first close encounter with death in his youth... or the few couple of times during the war... that he began to think of himself as too lucky to die. Unfortunately for him, he'd have to learn the hard way that whatever force that was trying to save him can't do anything about his own body failing from years of self-destructive alcoholism.
[Husk will literally kill me with all the research I'll have to do from 1910-1970 to get his story straight.]
Alastor is one Prideful mf. As an intelligent serial killer (possibly cannibal), he was able to evade the police whilst keeping the high-profile radio host job he killed others for. He enjoyed leaving clues and slipping little hints around his scene that stumped the entire police department. In the end, getting sloppy because of his own overconfidence in his abilities was what did him in and he was chased down and shot by a hunter in his escape.
Sir Pentious is Envious of the Victorian family and those above the middle class. He believed that he deserved to have the same kind of privileges they have especially since he was a brilliant inventor who believed he could forward Great Britain to a greater future. So he gave up 15 years trying to take over the monarchy by himself and failing miserably. He died due to an invention gone wrong and that was the day Great Britain was rid of its persistent annoyance.
[Some people may read about him in history books and confuse him for an anti-monarchist when this man's entire goal was to replace the monarchy with himself.]
Cherri Bomb grew up as a resentful youth of the Japanese 70's being a sukeban of a delinquent girl gang. Their Wrath was known all across the other local schools in their area and they were known for their sheer brutality. However, Cherri Bomb in particular was also feared by other members of the gang as she was ruthless punishing those who wanted to leave the group. She doesn't ever disclose how she died to others and thus no one is ever really sure how she ended up down here but no one really feels the need to ask.
[I'm extremely unfamiliar with Australian history so Cherri Bomb will have to have grown up in Japanese 70-80's delinquent culture.]
.
There's one sin left.... but since I don't really have anyone in the HH cannon that could realistically fit Sloth, I'm left with two options: Characterizing the blank slate that is Crymini myself or leaving the last resident as a community effort "Build-a-Sinner."
So first poll ive done but....

y’know I respect a fan’s choice about how they want to view mizu but tiny ramble about it here. this isn’t any sort of discussion or ‘matter of fact’ essay, just a simple rant about headcannons about her being TRANS and her SEXUALITY.
Warning: extremely long.
Given the numerous limitations that would arise from traveling as a woman, I find it very difficult to understand why some people believe Mizu is transgender when it's obvious that she is hiding this information in order to survive. This was particularly true during the Edo period, when women were dehumanized and treated like objects because we only ever see them as a slave or working in a brothel (majority of the show at least). They were also seen having to depend on men for nearly everything, as demonstrated in the episode where the mother and daughter were left outside to freeze to death since her husband was not present to accompany them. Along with that subtle hints were presented to us that show how comfortable she is when in touch with her femininity like a few moments in the episode where she came back to Swords-father Eiji’s hut. Though, I can definitely see why people would label her as transmasc with the theory that she must’ve grown so accustomed to this sort of lifestyle, she’d perhaps just become transmasc in the later episodes. We’ll never know!
Next, not gonna lie, I’m insanely guilty of viewing Mizu as a bisexual women despite feeling that she is leaning more toward heterosexuality in terms of her sexuality. I have the biggest fattest crush on her so I have no problem stating how much I'm crying and wailing over this. Like c’mon, let's be real, I guarantee that 98% of simps are female, and I’m sure every single one of us has mentioned once that we can all treat her better than Mikio and Taigen. Speaking of Taigen, I HAVE to admit that him and Mizu do have the best chemistry compared to everyone in the show. It’s clear in the way she pulls him away from those shooting arrows, knocks him out becahse she fears for his safety if he follows, saving him from Fowler's castle even though she could have easily just left him to die and slain Fowler, etc. At first, I would’ve assumed she’d have trauma with men especially after Mikio’s betrayal which might’ve led her to stray away from any romantic attraction with men—or anybody in general. Honestly, I have dedicated my time to search for ANY hint (ok not rlly) that she might be attracted to women, but the only time I ever see her become flustered by one is when she appears to be taken aback by the prostitues she tried to ask for directions to the Shindo Dojo. Plus, there were only two occasions where she interacted with Akemi that people use to automatically ship them which is when she saw Akemi in her carriage (not sure of the specific name) and pinned her down in Madame Kaji's brothel. I can’t imagine them as a couple in later episodes, something I’m been dying to see. Though, it’s hard to determine what was running in her mind during the scene where they both stole glances at each other, especially since there was no sort of indication in her inner thoughts or emotions, so it’s normal to assume the above as well. (Despite that, I’m still rooting for AT LEAST bisexual Mizu because for the love of god and for the sake of all of the gay women here, PLEASE. /j)
I may make jokes about these headcannons like playfully hating on the TaiMizu ships. All in all, I’m sure the fans are mature enough to understand that these are meant to be lighthearted jokes and that people interpret a character and show in various ways and it’s normal! Even if I can’t comprehend the theory or feel as though it is a little too complicated/really negotiable, remember to support what you want, ship what you want, make whatever headcannons, nobody’s stopping you! Don’t be too afraid to just announce what you feel about the show. All I ask is to avoid SERIOUSLY cancelling someone just because of their own feelings and opinions. In the end, they’re stilll fictional characters (😞😞) who have no sort of physical form of any sort so do whatever, as long as it isn’t really THAT problematic in a sense (e.g. romanticising rape), go for it.
(Sorry for bringing her sexuality into this, I’m aware of how the show is definitely not centering on this and not every single thing has to be LGBTQ-related but I noice it’s something constantly brought up in the fandom. As someone whose phrasing and essay writing skills suck, I’m still learning bit by bit about how the world works in terms of differing views on things. I may not support your idea of a character but I RESPECT it! If I came off as rude, I’m sorry, remember it’s just my random midnight thoughts🙏)

I saw people complain that Belos didn’t see Caleb’s ghost one last time during his death, and now that I’ve really thought about it in hindsight… I don’t think the ghost sequence in For the Future was meant to set up some sort of epiphany or something like that for Belos; Rather, it was THE conclusion to his twisted little storyline involving Caleb and the Grimwalkers.
I think what happened was that in earlier drafts for Belos’ death, the writers considered having Caleb and the Grimwalkers appear, but then they decided that they wanted the scene’s focus to be between Luz and Belos; This is the series finale, it’s Luz’s triumph against Belos first and foremost, and that of the friends and family she’s made (people Belos looks down upon).
Tumblr media
But the writers still wanted a final bit between Belos and the ghosts, so they moved it to For the Future, another time we see him dying at a low point; There’s no other part of Watching and Dreaming this would fit, not even the sequence when Belos possesses the heart, since at that moment he’s convinced he’s nearing a narrow but certain victory.
So Belos all by his lonesome with only his dark thoughts to keep him company, falling apart, dragging himself as he’s desperately trying to figure something out? That happens in For the Future, so the ‘ghosts’ happen in that episode. Apparently some color references refer to these ghosts as illusions, which points fairly solidly towards the interpretation that it’s all in Belos’ delirious head.
And I think it makes sense that it’s the end; Not only are we accounting for how a lot had to be crammed in, but I feel it’s symbolic. After being rejected by Hunter, the big culmination of Hunter’s conflict against his uncle, Belos comes crawling back to all of the other Grimwalkers. It’s that same memory of Caleb and his clones he’s chasing, he tries to inhabit another grimwalker, one last time…
Tumblr media
But it fails; The grimwalkers are done with Belos, because Hunter finally stood up to him in the previous episode and broke the cycle. Belos can’t continue it anymore, despite his final effort to resuscitate this thread of his life; He is rejected both mentally and now physically by the clones. So in the end, Belos leaves it all behind. After being forced to suffer in the culmination of his failure with Caleb, it rejects him one final time. And by that point, Belos has gotten the hint, he can’t go back to that anymore.
So he finally let go; He moves on, he abandons it behind in the Titan’s skull. It was never about Caleb, it all circled back to Philip and what he wanted and expected of his brother, rather than actual, unconditional love. Belos has dedicated his centuries to two things, saving Caleb and slaying the witches… And now he’s forced to reconcile with the fact that Caleb is a lost cause when the last Grimwalker fails, so all Belos has left is his murder, his vengeance. And he casts aside this last thread to pursue that ultimate goal.
Plus, Belos’ relatively subdued reaction, as people pointed out, indicate he’s been experiencing this for a while now; And he hadn’t changed then, so why would he change now, from an in-universe standpoint? And I suppose a Doylist one, too. The fact that the ghosts were given their own separate scene also means the writers could focus on Belos and the Grimwalkers without worrying about other characters present, which gives us a longer sequence than a brief cameo at the end.
Tumblr media
A lot of people insisted they just wanted a final acknowledgment of Caleb by Belos, anything at all, in the finale… But I think we DID get a final haunting, it just had to be pushed back into the penultimate episode instead, especially to make room for Luz. Whom I must remind you is the main protagonist, for whom this entire story begins and ultimately comes back to. As a contrast to Belos, who acts entitled to this assumption for himself, his motives ultimately boil down into thinking he’s the main hero. But it’s Luz, who learns to let go of that sort of pride, and healthily engage with her own story, in her own way.
And before people complain that Kikimora and Boscha took time away from Belos (whose Caleb story would still end in For the Future with or without them), I should remind y’all that there are actually plenty of reasons for that subplot; For starters, the Hexside situation follows through on the setup of Hunter telling the students about Belos’ plan in Labyrinth Runners, so something actually comes of that. A bunch of unruly kids being in charge, with an adult preying on the leader, is a parallel to the Collector’s situation.
Tumblr media
Conflict with Boscha and Kikimora create a low point for Luz and Willow to be frustrated over, providing an opportunity for their loved ones to step in and make a breakthrough, thereby contributing to Luz and Willow’s growth. Hunter gets to develop a relationship that is healthy to him, helping him move on from his abuser.
Tumblr media
Boscha being an antagonist leads to a wonderful scene in which she and Willow are paralleled, which of course contributes to Willow’s arc. And this is speculative, but this plot seems to be the remnants of an original plan for Boscha and Kikimora’s arcs that unfortunately had to be trimmed down thanks to the shortening; Kikimora especially, since she’s set up in the S2 intro as being on the same level/significance as Lilith and Hunter, and was likely intended to be until the shortening.

Rant
Regulus Black is only excused for being a dumb Wizard Nazi because he's a rich Pure-Blood with a hot fancast. There is no evidence to suggest he was abused, that's fan theory. In fact, it is canon that Walburga and Orion openly preferred Regulus wayyy more than Sirius and made it obvious. Snape on the other hand is a poor Half-Blood, and people insert his golden era personality and slap it onto a fucking 11 year old, it's laughable.
Same with Narcissa Malfoy, she wasn't this timid abused submissive wife, she was canonically described as haughty, elitist and looked as though she had dung under her nose, but just because she didn't give Harry away, people put her on a ridiculous pedestal. People don't realize she only didn't snitch because she cared about her son, if Harry said no, she would've revealed it.
Marauders Stans go nuts for people only mentioned one time lmaoo and get mad if you don't ship Dorlene or Rosekiller (Ex. Marlene McKinnon, Dorcas Meadowes, Mary MacDonald and Evan Rosier, forgive my autistic ass if I forgot someone)
Evan Rosier and Barty Crouch Jr. are not any better than Snape, Avery or Mulciber, the difference is that their names are more appealing than Snape, Avery or Mulciber.
I am sure Sirius was being sarcastic when he said 'The Ancient and Most Noble House of Black' if not, I bet only the Black Family called themselves that shit, I can't imagine Lucius Malfoy agreeing to call them that before he met Narcissa.
'Dwaco Malfwoy was a cwinnamon woll, his daddy abused himmm' uh wut? Oh yes, the boy who could bully his dad into smuggling a broom and persuade his daddy to buy brooms for the entirety of the Slytherin Quidditch Team was a bullied baby boy. ⭐ l o g i c ⭐ But seriously, by taking away the Malfoys selfish love for each other, you are essentially ripping away their only redeeming quality.
Also, I don't think Draco needs a redemption arc, his character is VERY realistic of a coward and that's what makes him compelling as a character. Lots of Nazi Youth never fully redeemed themselves in a full out battle by betraying the SS Officers, Draco is a realistic interpretation of that. Draco is not inherently evil, but he is too much of a coward to take his redemption arc.
Wolfstar Stans are the most annoying motherfuckers to grace this earth.
'Marauders vs Snape rivalry was balanced' okay, so two rich pure-blood Gryffindors (James and Sirius) plus their two cronies (Remus and Peter) vs some random Half-Blood poor slytherin is equal somehow? Only Lily ever stood up for him, Snape's 'friends' did fuck shit about his problems, I don't recall a scene where Lucius Malfoy, Avery or Mulciber stood up against the Marauders for Snape. He quite literally only had one prefect girl standing up for him against four teenage asshats.
Wolfstar and Jegulus don't have chances of happening. James quite literally hates Slytherins, even suggesting he'd leave if he was ever sorted there, and Jegulus is just fanon writers excuse to have Wolfstar happen by making James go after Regulus Black of all people. If Sirius is gay for anyone, it's James. Literally, if it was between James and Remus, Sirius is gonna choose James no matter what, for Remus, if it's between James and Sirius, he's gonna choose James, even Peter would probably choose James. James is the glue of the friendship, if James isn't there during the marauders era, I doubt Sirius, Remus or Peter would have many meaningful outings.
Marauders being feminists is stupid. They are the embodiment of toxic masculinity if you ask me, even Snape is more likely to be a feminist than the Marauders.
Marauders fancasts are goofy as hell, Andrew Garfield looks nothing like Remus, ATJ looks nothing like James, and Dane is most certainly not Peter (He's canonically plus-sized), I personally don't fancast Ben Barnes as Sirius but I can see why others do.
Harry absa-fucking-olutely deserved those house points at the end of philosophers stone, he saved the school from Ian Hart and a british sith lord thought to be dead, it would be an insult not to give him any points.
Bellatrix Lestrange is not a feminist icon. period.
Weasleybashers never read the books, ironically though, it's Ginny, Molly, Percy and Ron that are bashed the most, never the twins, who easily have more reasons to bash them.
I read a Harry Potter Confession Post that I wholehartedly agree with; Mrs. Rowling spent too much time making Narcissa a Malfoy that she forgot she was originally a Black. To be fair, I don't think she was planning on making Cissy and Sirius cousins when she was first introduced in Goblet of Fire, but there isn't much explanation to why she was named after a flower instead of a constellation. Mrs. Rowling makes this mistake to a lesser extent with Walburga Black.
Sirius-Serious jokes stop being funny when they are mentioned every chapter of a fanfic.

Redcrackle ship analysis pt.1
As you can guess, i ship Redcrackle, and often, many people told me that I shouldn’t ship them for some reason.
Here I’m going to explain why it is totally ok to ship them (and why it is my favourite copule in the show).
What people told me about them is that they see each other as siblings, their age gap is too much, and that they never actually flirted with each other.
Like i did for carulia I’m gonna show y’all what i think of each of those topics.
They see each other as siblings
I think that it was oblivious that they SAW each other as siblings when they were still both at VILE, not anymore. You can clearly see this simply by the way they look at each other
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have a brother, and we don’t look at each other like that, yk?
While they were still at VILE, they looked at each other very differently
Tumblr media
That is a brotherly look, while they were younger, but then you can clearly see that their dynamic changed, because they grew up, they changed and their feelings for each other changed too, it’s normal that way, and it’s always been that way. Their trope is really complicated, but their feelings for each other went like from best friends to lovers, and it’s not “problematic” as someone says, instead they have chemistry, they bonded as friends and they proceeded seeing each other as the sibling figure they never had since they were both orphans, and they ended up developing some romantics feeling once they both matured and aged.
Plus I realised reading some fics and just scrolling on the internet, that prolly Carmen only saw Gray as a big brother figure because she only had the “family” kind of love in her life since that moment. Maybe she had stronger feelings for him that she couldn’t classify because the only love she ever felt was for the faculty, which was more like a family to her, no romantic feelings involved. Then Graham came and she saw him as a big brother, as her found family, because it was the only love she was surrounded with for her whole life, and that then, she realised that she had some romantics feelings for him, once she grew up and experienced more in her life.
Their age gap is too much
Ok, in this fandom, there are people from all over the world, so everybody has a different opinion on this (for example, where i live, there are such bigger age gaps)
But you have to consider that they are only 2 years apart (Carmen is 20 and Gray is 22), and they’re both adults and consenting, so I can’t really see any problems with that.
They never actually flirted with each other
Apart from the fact that they, in fact, have flirted but people say that they didn’t because one of them was brainwashed during it, as we saw they showed their love for each other multiple times, in multiple scenes, in many different way (flirting is not the only way to show love).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bro risked his life to SAVE HER (I can’t put every time he did it because of the image limit)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bro was willing to be locked up in JAIL just to make sure that his gf got his memories back
Tumblr media
Bro was willing to never see her again just to give her the opportunity to start a new life.
Not mentioning the fact that when he was brainwashed, he went all way to New Zealand to help someone he barely knew, just to have a cup of coffee with her.
And I strongly believe that he hesitated on purpose on that train to Paris, he didn’t wanted to kill her, he knew damn well how to defend himself from someone holding a weapon on him (as we see in the scene with Devineaux when he got his memories back and he beats his ass) + he also knew very well that she couldn’t use the weapon because of the fingerprints activation, he had no reasons to hesitate like that, except one, the boy was so in love.
Also all the things that carmen did for him, every time she said goodbye to him for his own well-being (at the coffee, on the Himalayas), every time she saved him (at Dr.Bellum’s place, on the Himalayas).
Plus, they are literally red and blue lovers.
Tumblr media
LOOK! She is the literal definition of red. He is the literal definition of blue. If that is not a sign, guys, idk what it is.
Other than that, think about when they opened to each other about their pasts, when he told her that he didn’t wanted to hurt her even though they were enemies and basically any interaction they have, and like I said before, their eyes can talk 100%, it’s so clear. They are so cute. I love them. No one can change my mind.
They just have so much chemistry, parallels, and everything.
Concluding I wanna drop a bomb.
I honestly believe that if Gray was a girl, everyone would love him and the ship. They as a copule would be seen better from everybody on this fandom.
Ok, in the end, I only did 1 part, but maybe I’m gonna do some more? Idk, really. Anyway, sorry if i did any grammatical errors, but English isn’t my first language so…
I hope you enjoyed this “analysis” If we can call it that way, see you soon!

Zosan Wrestling AU Part 2
Will turn this into a fanfic later.
-So the Ministry of Darkness storyline begins. During this time, it becomes public knowledge that Sanji and Zoro secretly got married at Las Vegas
- The marriage is both in and out of kayfabe. They snuck off to Las Vegas on vacation together and got married at a wedding chapel.
- What makes this shocking is the fact that they are both 18 as of the time of marriage
- The rest of the roster supported the relationship and marriage and defended both of them behind the scenes
- Judge punished both of them by separating them.
- Zoro gets humiliating angles and bad matchups that eventually led to him getting injured so badly he went off air for months
- Sanji is beaten and tortured by multiple heels. His siblings turn on him and bully him. Judge then reveals himself to be the higher power just so he can screw Eren out of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and also he got petty over Sanji’s marriage to Zoro and sacrificed Sanji to a black marriage to Blackbeard who tortured Sanji to the point of going insane. Eren saved him but Sanji has a mental breakdown that leads to him leaving the company for a while
- Eventually Zoro returns and openly challenged Judge to a match as revenge for the stunt he pulled months prior.
- Judge then adds a stipulation, if Zoro loses that his marriage to Sanji gets annulled but if he loses, he leaves the company
- The match takes place at their next PPV. Sanji shows up at ringside and watches in horror as his dad beats the crap out of Zoro
- Angered, Sanji steps in, grabs a sledge hammer and hits his dad hard in the back. Zoro then Pedigrees Judge and wins the match
- Zoro is stunned to see Sanji yet Sanji smiles and kisses Zoro in front of everyone, confirming both their real life and kayfabe marriage. This is also the beginning of Zoro’s reign of terror and Sanji’s heel turn
- The next day after that match, Judge calls Zoro out for manipulating Sanji only for Sanji to walk out using Zoro’s theme. Compared to the sweet Sanji everyone once knew, this new Sanji hit different. He was a lot more confident and sexual plus he wore a pair of jeans that showed off his most famous asset, his ass. Something that made the fanboys happy
- He gets in the ring and dares his dad to hit him after all he had been doing that for years. He tears the old man to shreds for ruining his life with the black marriage and the pain and torture he made him go through. This segment was the birth of Sanji’s now legendary mic skills because as a heel, Sanji does not hold back.
- The fans were happy to see Sanji do more and found his scathing pipe bomb of sorts satisfying
- He told the old man that he does not regret his marriage and that he is no longer his little boy anymore. Mic drop
- The next couple weeks, Zoro’s reign of terror begins. He first beats Eren to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and terrorizes the entire locker room with Sanji by his side
- Sanji starts showing off his body and quickly becomes the most popular Vinsmoke as he is considered a lot more sympathetic and nicer compared to the rest of the family
- A lot of the people on the roster find Sanji appealing and openly flirt with him which is enough to piss Zoro off
- Judge comes back and proceeds to wreck havoc and destroys the Roronoas leading to a rematch between Zoro and Judge which Zoro loses and thus ending their marriage. This also happens in real life and that affects Sanji’s relationship with Judge leading to Sanji leaving the company and going to the Indy scene where he starts working his way up and becoming a far better in-ring talent compared to when he was in the company. He starts wrestling with a variety of different wrestling companies and eventually he retires after working with New Japan
- Sanji exposes his family for who they truly are on Aizen’s podcast and tells the world how they had been treating him behind the scenes especially his dad and also speaks the truth about his marriage to Zoro and says that they are still technically married but were forced to live separately thanks to his dad’s interference and even read a scathing text from his dad regarding the marriage and his sexuality. That led him to leave the company
- Zoro also leaves around the same time that Sanji does and goes to rival company TNA where he instantly becomes a top star
- Zoro and Sanji would not speak or see each other until 10 years down the road.
- Zoro meets Sanji at the parking lot of a shopping mall and the two begin to speak to each other again and rekindled their romance and soon get remarried and later adopt two kids
- Ichiji then contacts the Roronoas and tells them about a sick angle he had cooked up and the two decide to return
- Sanji and Zoro make a comeback on Raw as Ichiji and Niji had taken over WCW and announces Reiju and Yonji as ECW’s new owner much to the shock of everyone
-The couple align with Judge for their own personal reasons
- Sanji steps up to the plate as an in-ring performer. Unlike the rest of the family, he brings some much-needed sex appeal and grit to the role and relishes every moment of it
- Zoro meanwhile plays the role of the badass with a lot of charisma and one hell of a foul mouth and buries peole on the mic every single day
- Reiju and Yonji proceeds to put the WWE faction of the company through hell and subjects them to a series of brutal matches and other forms of humiliating situations
- Sanji does get his comeuppance occasionally as expected for heels but he also gives his dad enough hell. Yes, the Prince has not forgotten what his family put him and Zoro and always reminds them of that
- Sanji’s mic skills have improved so much that he can go toe to toe with his family as evidenced during one segment where he buries the rest of the Vinsmoke family on the mic. During said segment, he gives his siblings plus father very hot bitch slaps that shocked everyone
- Unlike his siblings he is not that loyal to his dad and bitches at him openly and only hangs around his dad for his own nefarious purposes which work out in his favor
- Sanji is then allowed to step into the rings and compared to before, he is now a legit threat and can kick anyone’s ass. Zoro finds that so sexy and gives him some advice on how to get better
- Doflamingo or Doffy as everyone calls him affectionately serves as his mentor and teaches him more stuff as well
- Sanji is the only Vinsmoke that has proper wrestling training as the rest of them work best as managers who can scrap occasionally.
- Sanji loves being a heel
- Zoro comes from a well known wrestling family that hails from Japan and his parents are both wrestlers and are proud of their son and love Sanji a lot and consider him their son. Zoro’s siblings love the Vinsmokes and marvel at their work
- Zoro’s most prominent rivals are Eren Yeager, Grimmjow, Obito, Blackbeard, Aizen, Sukuna and Kenshin. The Vinsmokes count as well. Yes including Sanji too because every once in a while the competitive spirit in both of them comes out to play. Oh and he cheated on Sanji a few times
- Sanji’s archnemesis depending on the storyline are his family especially his dad, Nami, Eren, Blackbeard (because of the Black Wedding), Corazen, Doflamingo and Kaguya (she almost got Sanji killed).Zoro counts as well because Zoro cheated on him a few times and Sanji being the vindictive spirit that he is was having none of that
- Pray Sanji has no heels on. He will smack your face with it
- Sanji gives the most brutal bitch slaps and has dished these out loads of times. His dad dreads segments with him knowing full well that Sanji will not only give him the slap from hell but he can lose his shit and beat his ass there

The Ship of the Day: SatoSugu
(SEASON 2 SPOILERS WILL BE INCLUDED SO PLEASE AVOID IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED)
Tumblr media
Name: Satoru Gojo x Suguru Geto
Ship Name: SatoSugu (plus many others)
Original Content: Jujutsu Kaisen
Ship Info:
Moving on from the slash of Jim Kirk x Sprock, we tread into anime territory with a ship that destroyed the way fans viewed KFC… Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.
Coming from one of the most highly recommended new generation of anime, Jujutsu Kaisen has smashed expectations and captured the hearts of fans from all over the world. But in capturing our hearts, a certain duo has also destroyed these hearts with the bittersweet ending the two shared.
Classmates. Best Friends. Enemies. And possible lovers for some fans, the two characters known as Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto bring about a certain melancholy wherever they go. Although I would love to have a full ten page, single spaced essay on every interaction involving the two, I’ll spare you the pain and summarise a few of the key interactions between the two that really cemented themselves into peoples hearts.
At the start they were best friends. Going to the same Jujutsu High School in Tokyo and aiming to become Jujutsu Sorcerers. Sadly, we never got to see this. As a series of events lead to Geto spiralling into depression and changing his idea of how they (Jujutsu Sorcerers) should protect and fight for the weak, he completely breaks Jujutsu Regulations when he murders an entire village of non-sorcerers which lead to a ‘execute on sight’ command for all Jujutsu Sorcerers if they ever saw Geto. This lead to what fans dub as the KFC ‘breakup scene’.
Tumblr media
Gojo desperately tries to get explanations as to why his best friend would possibly do such a thing and begs him to reconsider, which fails. When Geto turns away, telling Gojo to kill him if he wants, Gojo finds himself unable to do so. He aims, but can’t fire. After all it would mean killing the person who knew him best. His best friend. He is left realising that he can’t save someone who doesn’t want to be saved.
When we next see the pairing (in chronological order) it’s during the Cursed Child Arc when Geto Attacks Jujutsu High but is defeated by Yuta Okkotsu (a current Jujutsu High student) and forced into an Alley situated in the academy. When Gojo finds him they exchange a brief conversation, with Gojo saying how he trusted him not to hurt his students and Geto joking that “he didn’t think he had any of that left”. In their (thought to be) final moments, Gojo says three words the audience can’t hear, to which Geto laughs and responds “at least hit me with some curses at my end”. These unsaid words lead the fandom into a war in deciding what was actually said, many interpreting it as ‘I love you’ and other with ‘we’ll meet again’. And with that, Satoru Gojo was forced to end his best friends life. But he could not bring himself to discard the body which takes us to our next scene.
Tumblr media
In the most current animated arc ,the Shibuya Incident Arc, Gojo arrives in Shibuya and kills one of the main cursed spirits involved in the attack and also 1000 of people who had been mutated. When he suddenly noticed a Prison Realm Cube, he found himself distracted when his name was called by a familiar voice. Suguru Geto. Gojo does not believe when this imposter claims to be Geto stating how “all the information provided by my six eyes are telling me you’re Suguru Geto, but both my heart and my soul know otherwise”. After it’s revealed it was in fact an ‘ancient entity’ that possessed a cursed technique which allowed it to switch bodies, ‘Geto’ blamed Gojo for not discarding Geto’s body, as that’s how he possessed his body. As he sends Gojo to be sealed away with a ‘goodnight’, Gojo lastly tells Geto that “it’s time to get up”. Once this is said, we see ‘Geto’s’ arm suddenly reach and grip his windpipe, suggesting that Geto’s body was rejecting its new brain. After the ordeal, it’s revealed this is the first time a body has ever rejected the entity. Which fans said was due to the bond the two had, one arguing it was a platonic bond while others claimed it was a romantic bond. Sort of like a ‘true loves kiss’ scenario.
Type of Ship: Queer Read
Despite all the fanfics, theories that fans have came up with and the endless amount of angst edits that make us believe there was a possible romance between the two (big up the JJK edit community), in terms of what’s canon they are just best friends. Platonic soulmates I’d love to add. So that is why it is a Queer read, due to fans interpretations of what they read.
Some see them as an old married couple sort of ship due to the comedic arguments we saw mostly during their early years. Some ship them due to this idea that Geto is Gojo’s Achilles Heel and his fatal flaw as it was due to his sudden appearance in the Shibuya Incident Arc that lead to the most powerful sorcerer in the franchise to be captured (very angst of you). Opposites attract as well due to their constantly contrasting beliefs, and heir overall colour pallet and personalities. And I could go on and on.
But despite how fans might interpret these interactions, the author (Gege) has confirmed them to be best friends and has in an interview said that he could not picture any romance possibly happening (except with Miwa).
But they did prove one thing that I think we can all agree on: there can be two pretty best friends.

your thoughts on akiza - hand them over:)
Aki!!! My queen!
How I feel about this character:
Aki is one of my personal favorites in all of Yugioh when it comes to the girls. Her introduction was so cool, shes a badass. She's strong, her deck is strong, her ability to make even Yusei feel scared is awesome. I just like everything about Aki, her presence in the signers is very important and I liked her passion to learn how ride a d-wheel. She never gave up when it was hard! From being feared to being an essential part to do good is amazing.
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
I only ship Aki with Yusei. Im cliché when it comes to romance and I just rooted for them the whole time. Yusei is a major influence to Aki to not let her ability to do harm to others, their bond is just so important. Aki was the one out their to look for Yusei when he was kidnapped and was okay with risking her safety to save him. And the scene where they went to the skating rink so Yusei can teach her the basics of skating before she learned how to ride a d-wheel is cute. AND the fact that Yusei built her d-wheel from scratch to surprise her is special. Aki did well and she deserved it. Aki loves Yusei and I can see no others that would be as right as them together.
my non-romantic otp for this character:
Aki and Jack! the hilarity of this dynamic for personally is quite good. When Bruno came around and Yusei spent his time with him, these two were rather jealous of that. They would bond well and agree that they want Yusei's attention. Plus the comedy, Jack is a doofus and Aki really would take much of his crap and she'll be the first one to call him out. ALSO to point out, when those jerks were trying to sabotage Aki during the license test, Jack was UPSET and noticed something was up. Jack cares, he cares a lot; Aki would also help him if needed.
my unpopular opinion about this character:
Im not sure if this is unpopular or not, but I have seen one or two comments about Aki's career path to be a doctor sudden or weird. I don't agree, when she helped that little girl; Aki made it pretty clear that she'd love a path where she can help and make people happy. I think its a very good career choice for Aki rather than going to be a pro duelist, she hurt people when she was the witch; being a doctor means she can heal and make people happy not bring harm. I just wish she didn't have to go abroad for that.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:
I WANTED AKI AND YUSEI TO KISS BEFORE THEY PARTED WAYS!!!! Those two holding hands and confessing way cute, but a KISS GOODBYE would've been the icing on the cake to such a good ending. Because at least its not a goodbye forever, Aki is going to study abroad and Yusei will be busy with his job; but they'll eventually be together again. So its not a complete goodbye. It would've been sweet to see a little look more into the future where Aki as a full fledged doctor is now back neo domino city when a job opened up and her and Yusei wanted to have a ride around the city. Let Aki/Yusei be a super power couple as a scientist/doctor team!

Well, Masks was certainly an episode. It was so much episode. It was almost certainly too much episode.
Things I liked:
All the action during the break-out. That was freaking epic.
Aang and Zuko's awkward conversation about Zuko's stolen journal. Canon confirmation that Zuko is a total nerd, plus the idea that he's Aang's teacher long before he is officially his teacher is great.
June's everything.
Zhao's weaselly weaselness and the bit with him and his biographer while he taunts Aang.
Things I was kind of meh about:
Zuko fighting back against his dad. I still don't know how I feel about this. In fact, I don't know how I feel about the follow-up scene with Ozai either. Like, Ozai's still an abusive dick, but the lesson he's trying to teach is different, the framing is different, and their relationship dynamic is different, but I don't know if it works for me.
Zuko's crew being the 41st. In the cartoon, Zuko getting burned and banished saves no one and is just all about Ozai being cruel. He wins the respect of his crew by risking his life and sacrificing his quest to keep them safe right where they can see it. In this, his getting burned and banished actually achieves his goal which entirely changes the meaning of it for him. It's not just his dad randomly being an asshole, it's a sacrifice Zuko made to keep these people who end up following him, hating him, and eventually respecting him and it's an entirely different dynamic that, again, teaches Zuko an entirely different lesson.
Roku's characterization. On the one hand, I love that they had a different past avatar giving Aang some pretty solid advice about how there's more than one way to be the avatar. On the other hand, he's a prankster now? What the? Why?
Things I hated:
The pacing. Seriously show, slow the fuck down. It felt like the just crammed Roku in there because he's in there in the cartoon and their legally obligated to stick him in, but the results felt rushed and unnecessary.

Does anyone else find it interesting that both Nancy and Mike are in love triangles during season 4 and that the season ends with neither triangle being fully resolved?
Like I m probably reaching here but its very interesting to me that they would have Nancy and Mike both be in love triangles and have parallel elements to both triangles.
Steve/Nancy /Jonathan triangle:
Nancy is lying to Jonathan. Jonathan is lying to Nancy.
Nancy and Steve were shown in various shots were it appeared they were going to Kiss, Steve openly confesses to Nancy that he isn’t over her yet when he tells her that his dream of settling down with Six kids and then admits later that she was the one he wanted to have the kids with.
She also doesn’t say “but i love Jonathan “ in this moment either( unless I missed it)
You could say she rejects Steve when Nancy runs to Jonathan but she never fully rejects him.
Nancy/Jonathan’s relationship is also left ambiguous in the end. Like yes they are shown with jopper and are implied to be end game, but they also had that brief moment where Jonathan once again lies to Nancy about his college acceptance letter. Nancy also lies here cause its obvious she has unresolved feelings with Steve but she is still denying that fact.
Will/Mike/El triangle.:
El lied to Mike through out the majority of the first part of Season 4.
Will both Called El out for her lying to Mike, and then told Mike El was lying to him, but then Will lies to Mike ( cause he selfless) so Mike would feel better about his relationship with El.
Mike doesn’t know that Will lied about El’s feelings and was actually confessing to Mike in that scene. This is important for two reasons.
1. . This can be seen as a parallel to Steve’s first confession when he originally tell’s Nancy the story about how he wanted to settle down with a wife , and six kids and travel. So in that sense we should expect a second confession where Will tells Mike (or Mike asks) since Steve later admits Nancy was the girl/woman in his family fantasy.
2. mike entire love confession to El is build on Will’s lie. The feelings he was reacting too that made him confess were Wills feelings not El’s. Will in fact has to keep encouraging Mike to go on, and he pauses on the word hurt and looks at will. Plus the whole “ my life started” part of the speech mirrors the speech he gave to save Will when Will was in danger . This thus implies his actual ‘love’ confession is an actual lie as its based on feelings between Byler and not Mil*ven.
Forgot to add that Mike keeps staring at Will’s lips.
Lets talk about that. Byler is shown not only with the two ‘end’ game couples one of which is also Mike’s sister and involved in a love triangle.
It all adds up.
Nancy and Mike’s stories are parallel.
They both are lying to the people they love, and lying to themselves , and they both are implied ( YES even Mike) to have feelings for someone else.

what was your favorite part of stolen century & what was your favorite funny bit they did & if the seven birds were actual birds what birds do you think they would be?
OKAY LOVE THIS ASK BC I AM SUPER INTO ORNITHOLOGY AND THINK ABOUT THE SEVEN BIRDS CONSTANTLY… literally I have a draft abt what birds they would be saved on my phone
but okay first I honestly do think my favorite part in the stolen century is the best day ever. I’m biased bc I love Taako & Lup so much but it’s just so incredibly sweet the way he plans an entire day of things he knows Lup will love… but also because it’s one of the few times we really see Taako scared. him being terrified when Lup tells him that she’s going to become a lich…. it’s this moment of vulnerability that no one but the audience gets so see. the way Taako doesn’t express how worried he is to ensure that he’s not preventing Lup from doing what she believes is the right thing to do even though he’s scared for her…. combined with “because you are my heart”….. oh that just takes me out
my fav funny bit is a really really hard choice bc so many bits just kill me BUT. the one scene that always gets me is during the eleventh hour when Taako is just shoveling diamonds into his bag and Magnus yells from across the room “Taako!! what the fuck!!!” the delivery of that line is so good
OKAY THEN.. ALRIGHT MY SEVEN BIRD HEADCANONS.
Magnus is a Golden Eagle. hands down. I think it’s usually a safe bet to portray a fighter character as a bird of prey, but also I just feel like it fits him because they’re such dynamic birds and he is proficient in like everything. also they usually mate long-term or for life and like…. Magnus’ devotion to Julia and the fact he never even considered being with someone else certainly fits with that.
Tumblr media
Merle is a gray morph Eastern Screech Owl. of course because he chose an owl as his animal during petals to the metal, but also because it feels really fitting for him to be this small bird of prey. Because they’re so little and nocturnal, they tend to not be sighted often, but they’re really strong and fierce little birds despite their stature. I feel like that can relate to Merle being kind of treated like he’s rarely a help, even though he ends up being the one to save the others decently often.
Tumblr media
Taako & Lup are Resplendent Quetzals. I‘ve definitely seen other people make this take I promise I know I’m not the first bc of the obvious use of “resplendent” but speaking as a bird enthusiast, Taako and Lup are sooooo Trogoniformes to me. the twins are supposed to be incredibly beautiful in a stand-out way, so making them incredibly flashy tropical birds that most people never get to see in person seems fitting to me. PLUS I think it’s very fun when people draw Taako with long hair and Lup with short hair, and that little detail translates well with the dimorphism in quetzal tail length.
Tumblr media
Barry is a Blue-winged Teal to me. partially because I think it’s funny to make the guy who couldn’t swim a duck but also I do feel like it fits him to be a species that doesn’t stand out much - he’s kind of just a guy. like he’s this incredibly powerful magic user and a lich and insanely intelligent, but he also is just a normal guy <3 so him being a decently common migratory duck is fitting, I think. plus the large blue patch on the wings of the males…. bluejeanscore
Tumblr media
Davenport has got to be a Barn Swallow. given his role as IPRE captain and his life sailing in imbalance, it’s really fitting for him to be a swallow, as sailors historically got tattoos of them to represent the distance they’d traveled and act as a sort of good luck charm for a safe journey home. + they are seriously just little guys :)
Tumblr media
Lucretia would deffo be a Common Loon. so often in art they’re depicted as solitary/sad because of the way their cry sounds but they do travel together, they’re very social birds! I feel like that perception vs reality of their isolation really fits with Lucretia, given that we start the series thinking she’s this mysterious figure who doesn’t even share her name with the boys, but she turns out to be one of the people who loves them most. also, Common Loons are fiercely protective, and I think that fits well with Lucretia’s attempt to cut The Hunger off from their plane

More fanfiction to come…now, here’s the plan
The 2. Season isn’t that far away, and I’ve been itching to write more for Vinland Saga. Thing is I don’t like to mess with canon too much, just a personal preference, but I may have found a compromise of sorts. A storyline that runs parallel to the second arc of the manga (and presumably season 2), and is thus kind of a canon-compliant AU…if that makes sense.
Now, I haven’t been subtle about the fact that Askeladd is my favourite character; he ain’t a good person, but he’s a damn good character. Naturally, I was sad to see him die, despite it being a great way to end his story and an important plot point overall.
This AU will be a “what if Askeladd survived”-story, but Thorfinn has no clue, so his story progresses just like in the manga. Instead of dying pretty quickly in Thorfinn’s arms, Askeladd is slowly bleeding out, but unconscious due to the sudden blood loss. This gives others, who see him as a valuable piece they want to keep in the game, enough time to switch him with a corpse and spirit him away...
Basic premise is:
Presumed dead and with a new identity, Askeladd must leave Canute’s side, to serve the prince’s and Wales’ interests abroad. He travels to the Hebrides with those who saved his life, acting as Canute’s eyes and ears in the various kingdoms of the region. From there he begins to subtly influence the course of history...and faces Vikings threatening his new home.
A bit about the historical background/inspiration:
When I wondered where Askeladd could act without interfering with Thorfinn’s storyline, I first checked Scotland and Ireland…and there was quite a bit going on at the time. Just a few months after Sweyn Forkbeard’s death, there was battle at Dublin, the Battle of Clontarf, which shook up the political landscape of those regions quite a bit.
Interestingly, I found out that only a few years later the Sudreyar, the Hebrides and Isle of Man (+ plus a few other islands), suddenly came to be ruled by a relative and vassal of Canute…there is a story gift-wrapped right there, come on. It’s a perfect scenario to have Askeladd be the one pulling strings behind the scenes.
Now, about the people he will be living amongst, and who save him in the first place. Early on during the Viking Age, Scandinavians figured that they could not only just raid the coastlines of Scotland and Ireland, but also settle down there. This resulted in the minor kingdoms and earldoms of the Norse-Gaels, descendants of both the Norse settlers and the native Gaelic population. They still got raided and even went raiding themselves, and of course were kinda caught up between everyone.
There was even more going on at the time, but I don’t want to spoil too much, as I’ll try to weave in as much history as possible. I plan to add a bit of historical context and background information in notes at the end of chapters, whenever relevant. Of course, since it’s still fanfiction meant to entertain, and since sources are sparse, it naturally won’t be 100% accurate. I’m not a historian, I’m gonna take liberties for the sake of the story.
I hope to start publishing chapter for “Dead Man’s Tale” around the time season 2 starts airing. If you have questions/are curious about something, don’t hesitate to send me a message.

My people!! How about I give you some Time Travelling Mordeson Headcanon and AU?
Check it: What if Mordecai realizes that he and Benson don't see eye to eye and Mordecai takes that personally?
No matter what he does, Benson will just get angry at him or push him away. And that upsets him, so he goes to have a conversation with Pops to try and solve the issue. And from his interaction, it's obvious that Benson will never like him due to past events where he plus Rigby would nearly ruin his life, trust issues, and how much of a screw-up he is in general.
Hence Mordecai gets the brilliant idea to travel to past events and fix their broken bond.(or in other words, he travels through the first few seasons of the show).
I headcanon that the microwave in the kitchen grants anyone the ability to time travel to the past/future based on the "It's Time" episode (where Mordo fucked up the microwave by dumping tons of clocks cuz he didn't want Rigby to go out with Mags).
For example, in The Power episode, instead of asking Pops, he gets Ben to help him flip the cart while Pops and Rigby go deal with the monster issue. Mordo tries to explain himself but Ben only gets more angry.
Well, that didn't work.
Then he travels to Caffeined Concert Tickets where he wakes up just the right moment their tickets were stolen by the coffee bean man and his partner/translator(?). Mordo and Rigs are chasing them with the lawn mower but then accidentally knock into Ben. The scene of Ben falling happens and then he yells the line to help him pick up his gumballs and Mordo is quick to step on the brakes and do just that.
Rigby would probably be so confused watching like "Dude!! What are you doing?? They're getting away" but Mordo ignores him and successfully gives Ben his gumballs while apologizing. A speechless Benson takes them and watches him run back to the cart because Rigby continues to scream at him to hurry up.
This is basically the whole concept: Have Mordo spend as much time with his boss as possible. Why as much as possible? Because during his solo adventure, he is being chased by these two masked individuals who want to stop him.
Mordo don't care tho. He is set to get Benson to like him and no one will stop him.
On the way, Mordecai finds himself discovering that he and Ben aren't as different as he believed. And the more moments the two are together, the more Mordo falls for Ben.
Meanwhile, in the present day, Ben is experiencing a painful change in his body because of all the time travelling Mordo is doing. He then is aware Mordo is nowhere to be seen and goes to look for him, only to be shocked at the microwave acting like it's about to explode. And when he gets closer to it to check in better detail, he gets sucked in.
Back to Mordo, he starts to lose control of the places he ends up in but then ends up in a place with his Benson. The two bicker back and forth, with Benson disappointed in him but then Mordo reveals why he's doing this and admits his feelings to Ben. And Ben is shocked, but in a twist he also admits he he never hated him.
A huge black hole then shows up and so do the two masked individuals to reveal Skips and Ted. They explain Mordecai has been unintentionally destroying the universe and if he doesn't stop, everything will go down the drain. And to do that, they have to reset Father Time, leading to all their memories being wiped.
Yada Yada, post too lost, Yada Yada, world is saved.
Mordo and Ben apologize to each other and the everything resets.
Cuts to Mordo and Rigs first day in the Park, but Mordo and Ben have this weird sparkle between each other. Giving the idea that their relationship will be wholesome.
Or something like that. I dunno, maybe I'm coping over the fact I WANT MORDECAI AND BEN TO INTERACT, JG WHY DIDN'T YOU MADE AN EPISODE WITH THEM WITHOUT A DAMN RACCOON FOLLWING?! WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THAT FROM US-

Ok so I saw Thor: Love & Thunder for the third time and I have some thoughts.
Here's a few things I wish had been done differently:
Get rid of the jokes in the opening scene. They completely ruined the vibe. It felt like Gorr and Rapu were acting in completely different films.
In general, the film could have done with a lot less "joking during a serious moment." I have no complaints about jokes in Marvel films, but it really bothers me when the jokes get in the way of emotional moments.
I know I sound like every other Marvel fan, but I think that with Gorr being the villain, it would have been a lot better for the film to be more serious.
The tone of the film varied so much between scenes it was a bit jarring.
I didn't really mind that the Guardians were written out so early. It's not their film + it would have felt too crowded.
Mighty Thor introduction was super cool though.
I also really liked the music used in the film!
A common complaint about the film that I've seen is that no one ever disproved Gorr's point that "all gods must die." In fact, the film is basically on Gorr's side, since it shows most of the gods acting like assholes.
So what I think would solve this problem would be to show the gods actually care about their worshipers.
One way this could be shown would be during Korg's "death." Instead of him surviving because "the only part of a Kronan that's alive is its mouth" (which ????), he survives because he is secretly saved by Ninny of the Nonny (who's right there! Plus, this would make one of the jokes have actual plot importance)
Maybe some of the gods in Omnipotence City could be shown as actually caring about stopping Gorr but too afraid to act in defiance of Zeus?
Don't have Korg interrupt Thor and Jane's moment on the ship!! It was so, so, unnecessary and it really ruined the mood.
The whole Gorr fight scene on that gray moon (?) was amazing. The VFX artists outdid themselves with the lighting. (rip Marvel VFX artists)
I've seen several people here on tumblr mention that they hated how Valkyrie was nerfed in the end. And yes, I agree that her excuse about not going to fight Gorr because she "would probably die" is totally out of character for her.
She's mentioned several times that she longs to die in battle and reach Valhalla, (she even goes as far as to say "if you're a viking you basically have to die in battle" at one point which both Sif AND Thor reinforce) and this is the perfect moment for that!
So I propose this: during the aftermath of the kid's kidnapping, have all of the Asgardians look to her for help. Have her realize how much she means to these people. And then instead of deciding to not go fight Gorr because she would probably die, have her choose not to go because even though she wants to reach Valhalla, she realizes that she has a duty to her people.
A lot of people had a problem with the child army but ??? Thor gave them the power to face their fears and fight! I think that's great. Would you rather have had them just stand there? Thor's awesome, but I don't think he could have handled fighting Gorr AND protecting the children from the shadow monsters.
Before we get to the ending I'd like to point out how GORGEOUS Eternity looks. One of the best parts of the film.
Ok, now my least favorite part: Gorr's wish.
It just made no sense to me at ALL to have him wish for his daughter back. He knew he was dying (he even said so himself!) and why dump her on Thor?? Poor kid would have to see her father die in front of her.
I didn't like how Gorr went from "destroy all gods" to "raise daughter from the dead" in one (1) Thor speech. Yes, I liked that he was redeemed, but that was not the way to go!!
I've been thinking about how I would have liked the film to end but I honestly can't think of anything, so here are my half baked ideas:
1. Gorr hears Thor's speech (which was nice btw - I liked the part of choosing to be with Jane in his final moments) and decides NOT to kill the gods, does nothing, and promptly dies. Who know what they do with their wish. (I'd rather not have them undo Jane's death because that was actually really well done).
2. Gorr realizes that there are some gods that do care for their people. (after Thor's speech he remembers all the gods that he killed - maybe some of them died protecting their people?) and decides that Eternity is too big a temptation for anyone, so he wishes for Eternity's gate to never open again.
3. Gorr realizes he is dying and decides that he wants to see his daughter one last time (NOT bring her to life). He wishes to see her again, and as soon as he dies, Love disappears as well.
Really liked the tribute to Jane at the end (the statue), as well as the two post credit scenes.
And those are some of the things I would have liked to see in the movie without changing too much.
Now! As a bonus here are some things that I think would have been a good idea, but would totally change the entire thing!
Have the film focus on how Thor closed off his heart because everyone who loves him dies. He doesn't let anyone get too close to him, something that's very apparent when he's with the Guardians. Once he has a re-encounter with Jane she helps him open up again, echoing her words at the end of the film. "Keep your heart open." And so Thor gets some character development!
And thanks for reading! Let me know what you think!
